quick spring 2023 wrap up since i just realized my first summer season show is airing tomorrow (or more like later today lol)

i think mashle and jigo are the last two i haven’t done parting thoughts for, and i haven’t actually finished their final eps yet (jigo’s last hasn’t even aired yet) but feelings on these are already pretty set in stone so:

mashle - it’s solidly fine and occasionally even fun, mash is fairly endearing, but in all honesty the series as a whole feels redundant in a world where opm exists jigokuraku - makes me keen to read the manga one day! hopefully it’ll get a full adaptation quickly, got me invested in a lot of characters and promptly KILLED THEM ALL LMAO??? EVERYONE DIES SO MUCH AZA BROS (BRAZAS) PLEASE STAY SAFE OUT THERE

And these are major lore jocks, so I'm just a bit worried it'll just be another round of Murtagh love/no interest when it's shown it has Arya as a main/no one quite gets the whole semi-new lore stuff with MIC biology and psych expansion DLC/these people go hard.

Also, fuckin' hillarious that Mates over on AO3 got less than 50 of the views that 'judge me not' has in a matter of weeks when judge me not has been up there for months. We've now confirmed that the way to get views on anything IC related is to use Murtagh's name, sometimes Brom's name, and a relationship tag with an M rating.
