Just got this on duolingo and for context I have reduced sense of smell (I can only smell things if I specifically sniff them or the smell is EXTREMELY strong) and it never ever occurred to me that tribbles would have a smell

are there any trans trekkies/klingon speakers who know of a klingon word for transgender? i know there's no official one, but i was thinking there could be an unofficial one in use among fans, and if so i would love to hear about it. and if there isn't i've been thinking about two options:

- some combination of ghe' + HuQ'am - be tranformed, transmuted, metamorphosed + gender - chenmoH'eghwI' - creator, maker of oneself

Jedna z sal (s.9) na uczelni ma naklejone oznaczenie w pIqaDzie. To jest "S 9".

Gdyby było w pełni prawilnie, to byłoby "P 9", ponieważ "pokój/sala" po klingońsku to {pa'}.

Wciąż – doceniam gest, nawet jeśli nie do końca tak to może wyglądać :D

gifted to me by my very dear friend @section-69, this is an honest to god klingon translation of the entire text of hamlet that i'm planning to read and post about over the next while despite my middling at best grasp of the klingon language. particularly love the portrait of the "author" and the tangible love and dedication with which the whole thing was made.

EXPLAINING THE JOKE:

The Klingon word for Tuesday is povjaj and the top line says latlh povjaj? (another Tuesday?)

The bottom line says povjaj but this time it translates to "May it be excellent" because that's what the verb pov plus the suffix -jaj means

this pun has been built into the language since the days of the week were named and now you know ok bye
