Energy Update: January 2024
January is a "9" month [1 (January) + 8 (2+0+2+4=8) = 9] in an "8" year. Though we are on the edge of something new - both represented by some of the astrological transits of the month and the beginning of a new year - we still have some stuff to wrap up before we can truly move onwards. A lot has changed since the beginning of 2020 - everything really, if you want to look at it that way. As our lives slowly bend and adapt to the changes that have been wrought in the world, we still have to live in it.
Numerologically, 9 is our last number as each multi-digit number gets added back together again. In this way we know that February is a 10/1 month: 2 (February) + 8 (2023) = 10 = 1+0 = 1. February is not the beginning, but February is a beginning. Now we just need to get there.
The Details
We begin January with the Sun and Pluto in Capricorn, retrograde Mercury and Mars in Sagittarius, Venus in Scorpio, Jupiter and retrograde Uranus in Taurus, and Saturn and Neptune in Pisces. This is an unusual alignment of planets and worth noting here. We know that the Sun, Mercury, and Venus travel together but right now they are being joined by both Mars and Pluto as they cross over Sagittarius and Capricorn this season. Additionally, our other planets are congregated together as well in Taurus and Pisces. It's also worth noting that all of this (/crazyhandwaving) began four years ago when all of our planets except for Uranus and Neptune were in the sign of Capricorn.
This month the last of our planets from this 2020 transit, Pluto, finally leaves Capricorn for good. This is one of the big gong crashes that denotes time. Pluto will remain in Aquarius until 2043.
Additionally, our Sun enters the sign of Aquarius, and Mercury, Venus, and Mars will enter the sign of Capricorn. January also marks the end of retrograde season for the next four months as Mercury and Uranus station direct.
The Nitty Gritty
January begins with a bang as Jupiter stations direct on 12/31/23 and Mercury stations direct on 1/1/24. This is a great omen for both January and 2024 as a whole as the first day of the month/year will set the stage for the energy of the time ahead. All signs point to "go" as we only have one single planet left in retrograde (Uranus). Uranus also stations direct this month (on 1/27); we will not experience another planetary retrograde until April.
That said, many of us are still carrying some of the weight of our pasts and it may be hindering our progress. As mentioned above, January is a "9" month of endings that will lead to February being a "10/1" month of beginnings. In this way, January can be seen as a series of releases that can help to unburden us of the things that we do not need to bring with us into the future we see ahead. This process may be triggering for some, especially those who are lost in the past or unduly holding onto something that has passed its expiration date.
The big release dates to watch out for include: 1/1 when Mercury stations direction, 1/4 when Mars enters Capricorn, 1/11 our new moon in Capricorn, 1/13 when Mercury enters Capricorn, 1/20 when BOTH the Sun and Uranus enter Aquarius, 1/23 when Venus enters Capricorn, and 1/27 when Uranus stations direct.
Any of the above dates can be used magically to speed this change along if you are so inclined. Each of these days may be a relief or triggering depending on your life circumstances and general personality. Stay prepared and aware.
There are also a few days of the month where life may seem to "help" you along on this release process, whether you wish it to or not. As our personal planets move through the sign of Capricorn, each will make a cardinal t-square with our lunar nodes of fate (in Aries and Capricorn). Each of these transits will carry with it some of the energy of eclipse season. Some doors may open during this time and some will inevitably close. When the lunar nodes are involved we sometimes find that it is too late to make certain choices, but also that new and interesting choices have become available to us. Our Sun will form a t-square with the nodes on 1/10, Mercury will on 1/28, and Mars will on 1/30. In February, Venus will form one final t-square to complete this process.
For transits like these there is one simple piece of advice: don't hold on too tightly. With our North Node in Aries, we are being asked to stand up for ourselves and that often means letting go of prior conditioning from our childhood or society that keeps us small and forces us into conformity. This can trigger a lot of deep-seated defenses and unhealthy coping mechanisms from our past. The big flex is to name it and bring it into the light rather than letting these things control or destroy us. If you have Aries or Libra in the 12th house this may be especially difficult for you, but this makes this work especially important.
Chiron, also sitting in Aries, shows us that being our unique selves can be quite a painful process. Each of our personal planets will also square off with the Wounded Healer during this time and each of these dates (Sun square Chiron on 1/6, Mars square Chiron on 1/25, and Mercury square Chiron on 1/28 plus Venus in February) is another chance to reexamine our core wounding surrounding standing out versus fitting in. This shit leads deep back into our childhoods and often is the center of our deepest fears. If you are into shadow work, these topics will likely prove especially fruitful during these times. A word to the wise about Chiron: the way out of the pain is always through examining it and learning to understand and create adaptive strategies for management and mitigation. Many people who have Chiron highlighted in their natal birth chart find that healing "out loud" helps them to deal with and make sense of more ouchy moments like these.
In this way, the month may feel very cyclical. You see a way forward and grab for it. It's painful beyond what was expected as it sparks deep wounds. From there the work is to transcend and release the wounds. Rinse and repeat.
It's certainly not work for the faint of heart. But that's not a surprise, we're in Capricorn season - a sign known for almost being compelled to work. This isn't the summer work of planting seeds, tending, and bringing them to harvest. This is the winter work of reexamination and reclamation. Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is sitting in a supportive sextile in Pisces to help us along in this process but it WILL be work. The big flex all month is to keep moving, to keep putting one foot in front of the other, and to keep on keepin' on. With some many chances, you CAN get it right.
Our two lunar events for the month are a new moon at 20° Capricorn on 1/11 and a full moon at 05° Leo on 1/25.
The new moon will be more supercharged as 1/11 is 111 reflecting an influx of 1/new beginnings energy which will also be in close square to our lunar nodes. If you do not set intentions for the year on 1/1, 1/11 will be another strong time to do so. The new moon's numerology is 2/2 [2 (10 Capricorn Sun + 10 Capricorn Moon = 2), and 2 (2 Capricorn new moon + 9 January = 11 = 2] which shows that it is a powerful day for creation and togetherness.
Our full moon in Leo carries the energy of 7/7 [7 (11 Aquarius Sun + 5 Leo Moon = 16 = 7) and 7 (7 Aquarius full moon + 9 January = 16 = 7]. 7 is the number of spirituality and is generally associated with intuition and inner understandings of all kinds. This is a great day to divine on your journey through January and will aid in any magic designed to align you with where your path is leading you.
If you're looking for a day to do money magic or other prosperity work in January, Friday 1/12 is your day when Mars in Capricorn is in exact trine with Jupiter in Taurus. Work that earth money magic - Capricorn is seeing to their future and Taurus loves the finer things in life. This is a big luxury day - this is a day to treat yo' self even if you're not doing any magic. But do that money magic if you've got it - earthy trines like this don't come around every day.
I see two days to watch out for during the month.
On Saturday, 1/20, the Sun meets up in its yearly conjunction with our planet of death and transformation, Pluto and they both enter the sign of Aquarius in lockstep with one another. This is a big change of the guard and it's likely to be reflected both in the outer world at large and in our personal lives. Pluto has been in the sign of Capricorn for more than a decade and its force has been slowly eroding our outdated systems of government and bureaucracy. Now, it shifts its gaze to Aquarius where it will remain until 2043.
Pluto moves on a glacial scale so we shouldn't expect to see the effects of its ingress initially but what we should expect to see is the fallout of what has been left behind. Given the planet and its namesake, I use the term fallout very intentionally here. Capricorn rules the governing systems of our lives; in truth, it rules all things that are contractual like government bodies, businesses, and even marriage. Anything that requires signing a contract is in some way controlled by Saturn and Capricorn as Saturn's emissary in this world. Pluto has been shaking up these systems for quite some time and not all of them will survive the release that comes as our dwarf planet finally exits the scene.
Sometimes you don't know how bad the disaster is until it's over and the dust has settled. I would expect to see governmental shutdowns, businesses failing or entering bankruptcy, and the dissolution of marriages as the energy slowly begins to shift away from Capricorn and into Aquarius. In this sense, any structures that are held on by a thread will be most at risk through the beginning of the year. If this is you and it impacts your life specifically, I will guide you back to the words above: Don't Hold on too tight.
Sometimes things need to fall apart. Sometimes you can't pick up the pieces.
The second day of interest is 1/29 when Mars in Capricorn meets up in trine with Uranus in Taurus. I have found that it is best to keep an eye on when these two planets meet, regardless of the aspect that they make with one another. Mars is our planet of action and war and Uranus rules the unexpected disaster. This is Tower weather; it is best to do less and avoid any overt dangers if you can. It's a day to stay away from explosives of all kinds. Uranus in Taurus is especially eruption-prone, make of that what you will. We are nearing the end of Uranus's transit of Taurus (something that we should be very grateful for) but it's not over until it's over.
January is the cosmic right time to put in the work to better your life. January is the cosmic right time to take accountability for where you are the problem. January is the cosmic right time to let that shit go so that when February rolls around, you are ready.

March 2024 Important Dates
AKA my notes on The Astrology Podcast's March Forecast.
February recap: The conjunction between Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Pluto in Aquarius conjunction has aligned with new tech developments. The Venus-Pluto conjunction heralded OpenAI's new text-to-video generator and the ensuing discussion on its potential political, labor, and artistic effects. Mercury was conjunct Mars and Venus trine Jupiter (with Virgo Moon completing a grand trine & involving the Saturn-Pisces opposition) the day Neuralink tried its first human subject. How will different parts of society react to further developments in cybernetics and body augmentation? Past occurrences of astrological alignments can help us make predictions. Advances in robotics during a major transit in the humanistic sign of Aquarius will challenge us to redefine what it means to be human. On February 10th, around the Mars-Pluto conjunction, a group of people set a self-driving delivery car on fire in San Francisco. These robo-taxis are likely going to increase when Jupiter enters Gemini, and indeed a few companies are poised to launch in other cities.
In other Pluto in Aquarius news, last episode Chris noted there's work in using X-rays to ancient scrolls from Herculaneum and Pompeii that can't be opened without incurring damage. On February 5th, the day of the Mercury-Pluto conjunction, the first images of one of these scrolls have been made available. This fits with Mercury-Pluto themes of lost or buried information coming to light. On the same day King Charles of England's cancer diagnosis was announced--an announcement of mortality. We also had the first privately-funded lunar vehicle landing. Pluto makes large thing imperceptibly small and makes microscopic things enormous.
In Saturn in Pisces news, in 2020 Chris predicted success for Miley Cyrus's Saturn return and indeed she won the Grammy. This also marks part 2 of the Dune movie--the book was written under Saturn in Pisces as well. Other influential sci-fi & fantasy stories were written under Saturn in Pisces like Lord of the Rings, and our hosts predict that a new classic will be born during this transit. In other Mars-Pluto news, we have ambiguous stories about nuclear weapons and Israel's announcement of storming Rafah. Unfortunately the upcoming eclipses (connected to 6 months ago) do not bode well for cessation of warfare. On February 15th, farmers in India have begun striking again, and doctors in South Korea walked out on the job to protest working conditions--Mars in Aquarius squaring Jupiter-Uranus in Taurus reactivates these ongoing labor disputes.
Our hosts recorded the forecast before the perfect Mercury-Saturn-Sun conjunction in Pisces hit on February 28th (the day I'm typing this!), which is one of the major influences over the first half of March. The other big influence is Mars-Venus in Aquarius. In the mutable, indeterminate sign of Pisces, Saturn doesn't bring us as much order as he did in the previous two signs of his domicile.
March 2nd/3rd - Venus square Uranus Venus in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus--either a change is needed to bring us peace and pleasure, or something is disrupting our pleasure. Austin says either way, this placement prompts us for significant changes. Venus's is overcoming Uranus (earlier in the zodiac, has the upper hand), so we can make good use of this placement if we shake things up a little bit in relationships.
March 9th/10th - Mars square Uranus, Mercury enters Aries Mercury has entered the sign where he'll retrograde, stretching what would normally be a transit of a few weeks into 2 months. Mercury in Mars's sign amplifies the wishes of the red planet, who's doing some pretty interesting stuff. In a firey Mars-ruled sign, Mercury wants something practical to do. This clarity and decisiveness will be welcome after all the indecision of Pisces. However, the North Node is in Aries, with the power to obscure things even when it's not blocking the Sun's light. There will be an eclipse here in April, so the pathfinding is tricky. We'll definitely be doubling back as Mercury prepares to retrograde. Sometimes you need to dive into things while you have the vision, yet before you have the rationale. Austin likens it to clearing your way through thick jungle terrain to determine whether a route is viable--it's only by going forward that you find out that you're on the wrong path, and thus, where the right one is. Mercury retrogrades teach us to learn from our mistakes--third time's the charm!
Mars follows Venus's path, and along with Mercury, weighs heavily on the upcoming lunation. Mars-Uranus connotes surprise attacks, sudden severing, unexpected explosions. Internally this can make us feel restless and impulsive. Keywords: recklessness and action without planning. Think of a cigarette being dropped near an oil drum. Technology disruptions are also likely.
March 10th - Pisces New Moon
Saturn and Neptune are close by to this lunation, and though Mars-Uranus is weighing in, Mars in particular is ultimately reporting to Saturn's broader plan. As Neptune and Saturn approach their conjunction, we'll seek escapism and the imaginal as a respite for our fatigue. We need to step out from being immersed in these waters. Mercury conjoined Neptune on the 8th before he left Pisces, leaving the imprint of confused or empathic communications in the air as the lunar cycle resets for the month.
March 11th/12th - Venus enters Pisces From here she builds up to a conjunction with Saturn at 11° on the 21st. As the sign of her exaltation, she's better able to bring harmony and reconciliation in our relationships, though Saturn brings a cool distance to our relationships. She'll conjoin Neptune in this sign next month. We may also see some kind of artwork that resonates with people on a deep emotional level.
March 17th - Sun conjoins Neptune, Electional chart
At around 1PM local time, this chart has Cancer rising with a dignified Moon in Cancer, applying to a trine with Venus at 7Pisces and sextile with Jupiter in Taurus in the 11th house. This chart occurs before things go crazy later in the month and is the best time to start something new. It's especially good for friends, groups and alliances and doing new things outside of the box.
March 18th - Mercury enters shadow (not pictured) Mercury hits 15Aries, the point he'll retrograde back to, at the same time as he conjoins the North Node. This is a precursor of things that will occur in April.
March 19th/20th - Sun enters Aries This puts the Sun in the same time as the Node that will eclipse it.
March 21st - Venus conjoins Saturn Saturn and Venus bring a sort of melancholy beauty to things. Though we may see them at odds for signifying discipline and love respectively, Saturn does exalt in Venus's sign of Libra. In the sign of Pisces empathy is especially relevant--think understanding each other's feelings because we've suffered the same things. Nostalgia is another important keyword.
March 22nd - Mars enters Pisces This puts him on track to contact to Saturn (exact cojunction c. April 10th)--a dangerous combination. Along with the Sun in Aries and Mercury slowing, this represents the event horizon of major developments for the rest of the month and early April. This will be the first Mars-Saturn conjunction in Pisces; note the Aquarius conjunctions in 2020 and later years coincided with the COVID lockdown(s). Sea lane transit will likely slam on the brakes as well, and current maritime conflicts will see big developments. More figuratively we may ask "where are we going, and what dangers lie ahead?"
March 25th - Libra Lunar Eclipse
For about a week things have been building up to this eclipse. Its twin will be visible across much of the United States in early April, meanwhile a comet will start to be visible in the night sky. Mars in Pisces copresent Saturn weighs heavily on this eclipse. The pace of events starts moving quickly and chaotically around eclipse season, and things start to move rapidly up or down, especially for prominent people & companies. This eclipse represents a culmination or next chapter of events started in October--major beginnings and major endings (in the Libra house of your chart for individuals). The picture may begin to get clearer. It's not the last installment, but things are clearly underway. Unfortunately this does not bode well for ongoing global conflicts. We can't see clearly with the eclipse, meanwhile Mercury is slowing down about to station retrograde, while right on the North Node. Combined with dangerous Mars-Saturn, it's a bit of a crazy situation. Jupiter's approach to a conjunction with Uranus indicates some surprising, amazing wins, and some people will find unexpected good fortune once the smoke clears. However, not everyone will be able to count on winning the Jupiter lottery here. (Later in April, when Jupiter conjoins Uranus exactly we can expect some kind of freedom and liberation).
The two weeks between these eclipses will be very active, dramatic, and chaotic, with beginnings and endings galore. In the Indian astrology dasha timing technique, the US Sibly chart has been in a time period ruled by Rahu (north node) since the early 2010s, making any eclipses visible in that country especially important to it. This is a time to be flexible!

Final Score Colorado Avalanche 5 – 1 Utah Hockey Club NHL 2024 25 Season t shirt
Eunice and I wrote three novels in 2021. Two of Final Score Colorado Avalanche 5 – 1 Utah Hockey Club NHL 2024 25 Season t shirt are slated for publication in 2022, the third in 2023. We’ve outlined four novels we plan to write in 2022, in two different unrelated genres. We are even planning to live-stream the start of one of those novels, which should be fun and interesting. The Barcelona trip the extended polyamorous network had planned for 2020, that got scuttled thanks to COVID, is (tentatively) back on for 2022. We still have reservations at the castle outside Barcelona. A dozen kinky people in a castle in Spain soubds like a blast. My wife and I are planning a cross-country trip photographing abandoned amusement parks. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, the bottom fell out of the amusement park industry, and scores of amusement parks across the country were simply abandoned, left to decay. Today they’re weird and overgrown and beautiful. We want to do photos of about a dozen of them, and possibly publish a coffee table book.
NFL New Orlean Saints Football Santa Claus Hohoho Christmas Pattern shirt
The North Node of Gemini is in Gemini, pushing us to find clarity in matters while moving toward greater understanding of NFL New Orlean Saints Football Santa Claus Hohoho Christmas Pattern shirt. This means that the South Node of Destiny will be in Sagittarius, which means we are releasing outdated philosophies. There will be four eclipses in 2021. These are action packed luminaries in the form of a Solar Eclipse, which is an intense New Moon, and a Lunar Eclipse, which is an energetically charged Full Moon. Each will bring major circumstances in situations and relationships to light. The Eclipses will occur on these dates: The Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius on May 26th, Solar Eclipse in Gemini on June 10th, Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on November 19th, and a Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius December 4th. Mercury Retrograde will occur on January 30th to February 21st in Aquarius, May 29th to June 22nd in Gemini, and September 27th to October 23rd in Libra. During this time, we’ll change and evolve our innermost perspectives and ideology.

Update and thoughts #27
Saturday 19 November 2022
I'm still editing, still perfecting my manuscript. I started writing When the Ice Melts away around February/March 2020. And as horrible and tasteless as this sounds but I really would not have written WTIMA, it just would not have happened if I wasn't home sheltered, quarantined from the awful pandemic outside that was getting worse and worse. My story and characters really did feel like a refuge, a place to hide to escape the horrors of the outside world. I was also juggling my assignments towards my final year of university but because I was not travelling and had more time inside, I was able to fully focus and have fun whilst writing.
And here I am still working on the manuscript that came out of nowhere, a surprise like no other. I feel like my posts are getting repetitive due to it still not being out there and nothing new to say but it's ok it will come out. I've been through a multitude of rejections and tiring moments of waiting for some tiny piece of hope so I am going to make it through this delay and honestly it's better this way I did not want my book to be released during a mercury retrograde but funny enough my book will still be going through its edits and last minute polishes through a mercury retrograde which is a good time to revisit past projects.
Anyways back to work.

Mercury retrograde
Mercury enters retrograde on Febraury 16th 2020 at 12 degrees Pisces and leaves retrograde on March 10th at 28 degrees Aquarius.
•Mercury retrograde slows us down to think about things and get things in order that are amiss. **look to what house Pisces occupies to see where this will be directed for you.
•This retrograde really puts us in the dark with communication as Pisces is already detriment and the retrograde causes illusions and intuitions to be stronger. We will sense things from a gut level.
•This period is a good time to re do things: rethink ideas, reimagine dreams, rediscover things, rethink patterns, you might think about the past more. Being nostalgic.
•It will help to communicate effectively so things aren’t misunderstood or misinterpreted. Ask people to verify things or confirm things so you understand. Double check plans and paperwork, redo things that need your attention, have back up plans and go with the flow.
•Things may feel confusing during this period and that it feels hard to make decisions. It’s almost like being in Alice in Wonderland, up is not always up when Mercury goes retrograde in Pisces.
•If misunderstandings or confusion comes up try to be straightforward and direct to avoid further issues and if you need time to make decisions, give yourself time.

Energy Update: February 18, 2020
Mercury is officially in retrograde! Now we enter our first retrograde cycle of the year and of the decade! Contrary to popular belief, retrograde cycles are not "all bad" and certainly not something to fear per se - they are simply a different expression of the energy of the planet represented.
It is said that when Mercury walks backward, he is traveling the "low road" - also known as the path through the Underworld. This is why the hidden hurts we have often resurface during the retrograde cycles. It can feel hard and it can hurt like Hell (pun intended) but in true Wonderland fashion (because the Wonderland story is a Chthonic as any in its own way) - the only way forward (and towards true healing) is through (the pain).
This is never truer than in the watery ocean that is the sign of Pisces. As the last sign in the horoscope, Pisces represents the collective unconscious. Pisces folk are often some of the more deeply intuitive (and tragically broken) natives of the entire horoscope. They feel everything and therefor disassociate to hide from the pain.
That the is the low vibe of this Mercury retrograde - hiding from the pain through disassociation, drugs, alcohol, and other vices that get you "away" and out of your own heads and hearts.
Coming off of the Capricorn stellium in January and heading towards another couple of major Capricorn aspects in the next month (the Moon, Mars, and Jupiter are making their way through to conjunct Saturn and Pluto) - we are being asked not to take the easy way out. We have a cosmic chance to embrace the pain - sheltered as we are by sweet Neptune and Mercury in Pisces - to (re)look and (re)learn and (r)evolve.
I believe with my entire soul that this moment - these really hard aspects in Capricorn, these deep Mercury retrogrades in water signs two years in a row, they are all deep gifts to humanity. Something deep needs to change - we need to heal the country, heal the planet, heal the collective consciousness. But that is TOO MUCH for any one of us to do and so many of us sit here floundering. But there is one thing that we can do - we can heal ourselves.
When we heal ourselves we create more love in the world. We lead with our hearts.
Be the love you want to see in the world. I dare you to.

Astro Observations: Part 7
✨It’s best to not date during mercury retrograde. You can do whatever you want but by actual experience ESPECIALLY if the person you’re dating is a mercury rx native. Once it goes direct, they’ll directly leave also. Doesn’t have to be true for everyone but it def was true for me. Just wait until after the period over. My advice. Frankly, don’t date all. Lmao. Kidding!
✨Also please please please try and avoid accepting a new job offer during mercury rx and REVIEW the paperwork! During a rx in 2020 I was working as a temp and then they wanted to hire me full time. I was hesitant to sign anything but I did anyways (also idk why I even agree to the pay when it wasn’t that great :/ ) but I did and then a month later I got laid off. Also it was the year of the pandemic but still.
✨A way to look/learn at aspects: my little cheat sheet
✨Air/fire- sextile (Leo sextile gemini)
✨Water/earth- sextile (Taurus sextile cancer)
✨Same element- trine (Aries trine Leo)
✨Same modality/different sign- square (moon in Leo square moon in Taurus- they’re both fixed signs but not the same signs- they’re in the same group)
✨Sister/opposite signs- opposition (Pisces opposition Virgo) also count 6 months ahead from the current month to get the opposite sign.
January is Aquarius and 6 months later is July which is Leo season.
February- Pisces + 6 = August Virgo
March- Aries + 6 = September Libra
✨Same sign- conjunct (Aries conjunct Aries)
✨When reading a chart, for Psychological use then use placidus system. You will understand why a person acts the way they are.
✨For predictive skills then use whole sign and sidereal astrology I believe is much more accurate for events. Just my thought.
✨Are you a morning or night person? I always thought I was a night person since I’m a Pisces and I find myself overthinking late at night. But i also always fall asleep lmao. Anyways to figure it out 👇🏽
I have a day chart (sun through houses 7-12 is day chart and sun through houses 1-6 is a night chart) And I find myself actually an early bird. Doesn’t matter what time I sleep, I HAVE to be awake in the morning lol. I absolutely love the sun and the day time. I’m also a Leo moon in the 1st🤔 which is below the horizon
My sis is a sag sun in the 4th and she has trouble sleeping and absolutely loves sleeping in and hates waking up early. Her moon is in Aries in the 8th which is above the horizon. So it’s the opposite side for us both.
My best friend has her sun in the 11th (so she’s a day baby) and her moon in the 10th. It’s above the horizon and she will sleep all day but stay up all night. She’s a Taurus moon also so she does take a lot of naps lol.
A guy I dated has his sun in the 9th (he’s a day baby) and his moon is in the 12th and he also can stay up late! Or basically he’s active at night! We went on a date and then he came home, took a nap and then woke up at like midnight and worked for 3 hours!
For this, Focus on your moon placement since it’s a luminary!
✨Moon houses 1-6: below horizon and you are active in the morning
✨Moon houses 7-12: above horizon and you are active at night
✨The sign & planet that’s in your 5th house indicates what you buy that brings you pleasure or something you enjoy! Or in general what makes you happy/brings you pleasure.
If there’s no planets in there, look at the ruling planet.
Example: Sagittarius and Jupiter is in the 12th house (a Pisces house)
You would buy anything that has to do with spirituality and learning. Maybe esoteric books, counseling sessions with a spiritual mentor/coach, life coach, astrologer and/or tarot reading. Trips! Especially to foreign lands. Maybe always taking courses!
✨Aries/Mars: video games, sports and sports events, working out, a personal trainer, theme parks (like six flags), ziplining, things that you give you an adrenaline rush, sky diving
✨Taurus/Venus: fine wine and dining, satin sheets, candles, music, instruments, treating yourself to nice restaurants, spas, woodwork
✨Gemini/Mercury: journals, anything to do with your hands, books, trivia games, getaway trips, your car, spoiling your sibs
✨Cáncer/Moon: your home, redecorating, food, spoiling your mom, your kids, music, home made items, diy stuff
✨Leo/sun: concerts, anything that makes you look good, a makeover, your hair, camera, ring light, anything to invest in your performance (YT, tik tok etc)
✨Virgo/ Mercury: your pets, health, personal trainer, nutritionist, your meals, books, holistic healing
✨Libra/Venus: facials, spa days, art, spoiling your significant other, dating coach/advice, aesthetic items, dessert
✨Scorpio/Pluto: spell work, witchcraft, tarot reading, anything that changes your appearance, candles, shopping in general
✨Sagittarius/Jupiter: life coach, foreign trips, courses, school, self help books, experiences, going out drinking with friends, traveling anywhere, fun adventures
✨Capricorn/Saturn: designer brand, business items, anything that invests in your business, stocks, spoiling others with gifts instead of telling them you actually love them lmao (jk!)
✨Aquarius/Uranus: technology, computers, games, sci fi movies, volunteering, spoiling your friends, comic books, astrology readings
✨Pisces/Neptune: candles, crystals, tarot readings, substances (such as drinking), tattoos, psychic readings, music

What To Expect During the Mercury Retrograde 2021
Yes, it is that time again, the infamous Mercury retrograde. Yet, the unusual paths we take and the unexpected twists in life are important to pay attention to, since they give awareness to necessary karmic lessons. It is important to understand that we need these periods in order to maintain balance in our lives. The Mercury retrogrades are known for bringing experiences of leaving one state to enter a new one, and in 2021, this retrograde will be bringing us great change. This retrograde will help us adjust to the great change and volatility in the societal system that will come from Saturn and Jupiter beginning a new cycle together, while Saturn additionally forms three square aspects with Uranus. Although Mercury retrograde has been demonized by many, it is in fact a natural phase of dissolution, purification, and regeneration that is essential to the function of Mercury. Part of Mercury’s role is to destabilize dynamics in order to loosen control and bring about a turning point in narrative and meaning. While in retrograde, Mercury transitions from being visible into an invisible phase during which it comes closest to earth in orbit, intensifying its impact on our lives. The backward motion of Mercury calls upon us to reflect upon ourselves as human beings. This the time to shed what is no longer needed, be that people, an unhealthy lifestyle, a job or house change, etc.
Think of the Death Major Arcana tarot card. It isn’t about physical death, but metaphorical death and change. The phrase “no mud, no louts” comes into play when Mercury is in retrograde, meaning that without the hard times and endings, there can be no birth and opportunity. This hope and positivity will be needed during the fundamental restructuring of societal systems that will take place in 2021. Mercury usually goes through three retrograde phases each year in the same element, and during 2021, Mercury will be retrograde in the air signs of Aquarius, Gemini, and Libra.
So, how is Mercury affected by air signs? Mercury has an affinity with the element of air, as it shares qualities with this element such as mobility, flexibility, and versatility. This means, changing our use of technology and reformulating the way we gather ideas and communicate information so that we stay current with the major changes across global society. Censoring and shadowbanning will be an issue, but without this retrograde, we wouldn’t see the problem, thus we will let it go unnoticed. No mud, no lotus. Since the air element accelerates movement, there will be rapidly developing trends and collective movements we will need to adjust to and understand. We will also need to become more effective in applying critical thinking skills toward the information we receive from external sources, and so we can utilize the periods of Mercury retrograde for realizing what needs to change in our thinking and problem solving. You need to understand who funds the information sources you are looking at, and you need to do your own research and critical thinking on every single aspect of information, or you may be following something blindly based on emotion, especially during the Mercury retrograde.
Mercury being retrograde in each of the air signs is especially significant due to 2021 being the beginning of a new era of Jupiter and Saturn uniting in only air signs that will last until 2159. Wow, that’s a long time. Well, sometimes great change in human evolution and understanding needs time… As part of the transition, we will experience three exact square aspects between Saturn in Aquarius with Uranus in Taurus that will correspond with upheaval in societal structures as we adapt to an old era passing away. Things will not be returning to the way they were before 2020, and so we will need to develop stabilizing forms while the world around us goes through radical change. We may think things will “go back to normal” but astrology and current world events tell us that we will not have anything close to “normal”.
The first two exact square aspects between Saturn and Uranus on February 17 and June 14 will occur while Mercury is retrograde in Aquarius and Gemini, and so our experience of Mercury retrograde in 2021 will be pivotal in how we reorient our perception and mindset to align with the fundamental reshaping of global systems that will be taking place in correspondence. Globally, things are going to get… interesting to say the least. With numerous wars being started as we speak, and the United States being flooded with military, we are going to be in for a bumpy ride as WW3 starts looking more and more possible. You can tell something is going on if you look up, there are a lot of UFOS flying around. Check out MUFON for UFO picture submissions. I am putting this gently, but I need to tell you the truth of what is happening, or I feel like a bad sugar coating astrologer. Scared? Don’t be. This needs to happen if we want to evolve into a higher and more open minded dimension. Accept what is happening, work with it, and make it so that you will prosper and tell your children, and your children’s children what you have gone through to make their world a better place. So, how are the signs affected?
🌎Earth Signs: ♉️ ♍️ ♑️ Sorry, earth signs, things are going to be rocky for you. There is a lack of common ground between air and earth signs. Earth signs are prone to routines that bring stability and grounding, while air signs are much more about movement and changing perspectives. The three Mercury retrograde periods will bring critical information regarding major changes you need to make with your work, schedules, and finances that will require openness to being more flexible and versatile. You won’t be able to stay in your comfort zone of the way things have been in the past.
🔥Fire Signs: ♌️ ♈️ ♐️ Fire signs share an active quality with the element of air that is comfortable with an acceleration of events, which will be helpful in moving with the sweeping changes across society. You will need to be open to changing your mind and listening to new perspectives with Mercury retrograde in air signs. It will be important to seek out different information sources and people who think differently from you so you can gather a wider perspective on events in your decision making. Don’t rely on one person or one source or one social media platform. Look at ALL sources and make up YOUR mind instead of someone making up your mind for you. Being open to new viewpoints will also lead to important developments in your relationships and expanding your community.
🌊Water Signs: ♋️ ♏️ ♓️ While water and air signs are similar in being open to new ideas and influences, the tendency of water signs for being receptive and slowing things down will need to be adapted to the more active and accelerated quality of the air element. You will need to find outlets for processing your feelings and making space to explore how your inner world is being impacted by the great changes happening in external events. Yet you will also need to take a more active role in decision making so that you are not being too passive amidst the larger shifts in society taking place.
🌬Air Signs: ♊️ ♎️ ♒️ These changes are not going to be as hard for you to handle than the other signs, since you can go wherever the wind takes you.
