What if “She-Ra and the Princesses of Power” was a novel and had an epilogue?
There was much rejoicing all across the lands and the realms of Etheria in celebration of Emperor Anillis Kur’s final destruction. From Bright Moon to Green Arbour, the peoples of that world called out with joy and triumph to celebrate their liberation from the great tyranny of the Lord of Aegyssa. For no longer would the long and terrible shadow of that pale and horrid Emperor loom over them or any other people or populace.
In the land of Plumeria, every city and every village rang the Chimes of Victory that had lain sad and silent since the days when Lord Hordak had first settled himself in Horror Hall. Queen Perfuma II declared the first Day of High Jubilation her people had seen in five-and-twenty years as the farms of her lands produced the finest fruits they had borne since the days of Queen Anthelia’s foundation of this realm. And the Queen called for all of high and low estate to come and stay with her in Rosenholt for a feast that lasted for five days and nights. And it was at the end of this festival that Perfuma II took as her bride and love Scorpia IV of Pinceria, now restored into her rightful duty as High Queen of the Scorpioni and Protector of Pinceria.
“Here’s hoping we have twins!” Scorpia cried out in a drunken stupor in front of every Princess on Etheria, resulting in fun and laughter for almost all of the rulers on the planet except for Frosta II of the Snows and Mermista III of Salineas.
For the Sea Queen still grieved for the loss of half her people at the hands of Hordak and the paws of Catra. Salineas was still a shadow of its former self, its temples and museums in worse ruins than the Titan’s Left Arm and all but a twentieth of its homes and houses left uninhabitable. Ethan the Sea Hawk called for his love to calm down and not call for the ritual drowning or scaphism of Izdubar and Eabani’s orphan daughter, but the Senate of Salineas declared that Catra would not be allowed within twenty miles of the Sea Gate for nine-and-twenty years without Lady Adora’s firmest supervision. And meanwhile, the child Queen Frosta II of the Snows could not forgive the mischievous cat girl for destroying the Princess Prom she had hoped to host for her entire short life. Catra had begged and begged for Frosta not to hold the Princess Prom against her, but it was to no avail, and Catra only barely managed to survive a perilous hockey game against a bunch of angry Frost Titans before Frosta would even look at her approvingly at the later Council Meetings.
Things in Dryl fared a little bit better. Hordak and Entrapta had taken to living as hermits in their mountain kingdom to escape the wrath of those who were still calling for their heads on a spit for what had happened in the Great War of 1003-1028. Hordak had taken to enjoying the technology of Dryl immensely, and it was he who was best at keeping records and managing the day to day running of a realm while his wife fiddled with her machines and her robots. Catra, Adora, Bow, and Glimmer had once had dinner with the monarchs of Dryl two years after Horde Prime’s Defeat, wherein Hordak and Bow had joked and bonded over their mutual love of technology and machinery only for an awkward silence to ensue once the subject of how they’d chosen to use their technological gifts they’d created for themselves. There were not many reunions between the former Supreme Leader of the Horde and the Best Friends of Bright Moon after that.
And Glimmer, of course, became Queen of Bright Moon as Glimmer IV. It was strange to think of how relatively short her mother’s reign had been considering the strange genetic mutation that had given both Angella III and her daughter immortality. The thought of outliving all those she loved grieved Glimmer immensely, and she found herself plagued by nightmares about the future.
“Glim, are you okay!?” Bow asked after the Queen woke up panting and screaming from yet another nightmare.
“I’m fine, Bow” Glimmer had answered, “Just another bad dream about bones and dust and hooded cloaks”.
Bow hugged her tight and did not let go for the rest of the night. She responded in kind for five nights in a row, but the only thing that could truly assuage her fears was the return of Catra and Adora into her life. The great heroine and her new love were happy to oblige their best friend, and there was a great celebration in the land of Bright Moon as soon as they arrived at the castle. Instead of a feast, however, there was simply a quiet meeting of reconciliation between friends torn apart by war and violence. And at the end of the evening, Glimmer made the firm announcement, repeated the next day in front of the public, that she and her found family would be leaving behind the Hidden Castle in the Glen where they had been concealed from the Horde since the death of Queen Luminesca the Great during the tragic end of the First Great Princess Alliance twenty years ago and returning to Bright Moon’s ancient capital city of Crystallium Adamantis by the end of the Winter Solstice. And there was much rejoicing in the Realm of Bright Moon at the rebirth of the long lost city which the Horde had destroyed so long ago. Every realm on Etheria vowed to pledge their money and resources to the rebuilding of Crystallium Adamantis, with even Queen Huntara of the Crimson Waste and Peekablue of Apiaria and the High Regent Rogelio of Pinceria (who ruled the former Fright Zone while Queen Scorpia was absent on official business or off gallivanting with her wife through flowery fields and forests) contributing to the Great Reconstruction. Frosta of the Snows contributed the finest crystals to light up the streets of the city and granite stone to reinforce its walls. Perfuma and Scorpia sent forth flowers to decorate the streets and vines to help with construction machines and two pets for Glimmer and Adora to cherish and nurture alongside Melog, a greyhound named Nathanoel and a cat named Molly. From Salineas came the finest marble and fountains to  provide material and sustenance respectively to the workers and to the citizens. Even Pinceria contributed its finest crystals and fire liquid for the sake of the city’s growing infrastructure. Not one expense was spared as the city was reborn from its own ashes and into a brand new light and dawn.
And one day, as they sat together bathing in the sunlight in a field where the sound of the city’s rebuilding could still be heard going on in the distance like the cosmos’ most bass and percussion heavy orchestra, Catra turned her gaze to Adora’s beautiful face and looked at her with the kind of hard won love and admiration that could only come from long years apart in darkness and sorrow. For a while though, Catra did not want to gaze upon the object of her heart’s desire, for she felt unworthy of the love of someone so magnificent and so beautiful. For so long she had tried to destroy Adora, to obliterate the Great She-Ra from her life just so the aching in her soul could cease and she could sink into a passive, apathetic contentment of the kind she had briefly felt both as de facto leader of the Horde and when she was under the thrall of Horde Prime’s terrible hive mind…but that was not true happiness. That could not fill the void that Shadow Weaver had torn in her soul so long ago, or heal the wounds that life had cut into her heart. It was a kind of ‘happiness’ that more resembled silently slipping into quicksand while being too apathetic to resist its pull, not the true kind of bliss that comes from reaching out to love another soul with all your heart.
And with these thoughts, Catra began to weep profusely, her head buried in Adora’s chest as she begged silently for forgiveness and absolution. And yet Adora did not say a word, but merely stroked her love’s short brown fur and sang a lullaby of long ago that Glimmer had taught her to calm and soothe the woman whom she adored so much.
You're okay You're alright I'll never, ever leave your side I will stay and I will fight With you
Aah aah aah Aah aah aah
You're okay You're alright I'll stay here through the darkest night All the way, I will fight With you
We may not have sunshine, or starlight, or weather But we've got each other, and that's even better
You don't need the sun to keep you warm when you've got arms Wishes come from you and not a random shooting star We may not have storm clouds, but the sky's always blue
We've got something special here And what we have is you What we have is you What we have is you
And with that having been sung, Catra lifted her head from Adora’s chest and wiped her nose and let Adora pull her into a hug which she gladly reciprocated (though she still continued to weep rather profusely into Adora’s strong, broad shoulders as Adora continued to sing to her).
And as the two girls continued to hug each other as tightly as they could, Catra began to find herself overwhelmed by an emotion she had never truly felt before in her life, except mayhaps when she was a little newborn kitten during the tiny, precious sliver of eight months wherein she still had her fathers to love and cherish and nurture her before Shadow Weaver had killed both of them and taken her away to the pain and torment of the Horde. It was the love of a family, a love that Catra and Adora had not been given much of in their childhoods and for which they had been forced to tear and grab and scrape and stitch together out of the torn and broken pieces the universe had left them.
“It’s alright, my love” Adora said, “I’m here. He’s gone, she’s gone…neither of them can hurt us ever again”.
Catra smiled at that declaration of hope and reassurance and ceased her tears. For it was true. Horde Prime was dead and Shadow Weaver was gone, and both of them had been cast forever into the Oblivion that awaited all those who were wicked and cruel and mistreated their fellow beings. And Catra was free, and Adora was free, and all of Etheria was free. No longer would they live in cold and darkness, frightened of punishment and pain and desperately trying to hide themselves away in the shadows and corners of their minds. The scars would always stay on their souls, but at long last they had begun to heal and the hurt was weakened.
With that having been thought, Catra turned her face to the sky and Adora followed suit. Before them stretched an infinite universe of wonders and possibilities, filled with strange and beautiful creatures and worlds who were all living and hoping and dreaming in much the same way the peoples of Etheria were doing in their lives. One day, they would all hear the stories of the two heroines who had saved them all with their hard-won love, and even if they never sang hymns or praises to the glory of either Catra or Adora, Catra prayed that they would all be okay and safe and overthrowing any remaining Horde Clones who still oppressed or hurt them.
Right now though, Catra and Adora were just so, so happy.
“We'll have eight kittens, my beloved” Adora said, “and we will raise them all with the love and happiness that was denied to us and tell them stories of Etheria’s great and wonderful history and protect them from anyone who wants to hate or hurt them because of you”.
“Sounds great” Catra purred, “I bet you’re already thinking of names for them”.
“I am, my dearie” Adora chuckled.
Melog came to join his mistresses not long afterwards, curling himself contentedly on their laps as all three of them fell asleep dreaming of the wonderful stars.

Spop Rewrite
I mentioned in my first post that I was planning a Spop rewrite, and I want to go into more detail about what I'm planning and some major notes.
The Story
The story will include many elements from the 80s show, especially the world building, while following the reboot story structure.
Major plot points from the reboot will still be included, for example, the portal. However, it will be written differently and happen for different reasons.
I want to put emphasis on how war can affect people differently and the changes people undergo during it, as well as show multiple different demographics be affected rather than just the main cast.
Additionally, I want to focus Adora’s platonic relationships. Platonic relationships are going to take a forefront in this story rather than romantic ones.
Major Notes
Catra’s redemption arc will be longer and separate from Adora.
Catradora will be canon. However, their entire backstory and relationship will be rewritten. To clarify, I am not a C//A stan. However, I do like their characters in the 1985 comic and can entertain the idea of those versions of them dating. Also, the ship's writing makes me mad, so I want to prove that I, some rando with a lot of free time on her hands, can write a better friends, enemies to lovers relationship than the people who got paid to do it. So, I'm essentially making it canon just to prove a point.
The major changes in their relationship are that there will be no "siblings or dating?" mess involved in their relationship(yuck), Catra will actually be shown deeply caring for Adora, and their relationship will not be abusive in the slightest (still toxic because Catra is a villain but definitely not abusive, and becomes healthy later on.) Additionally, it will be a subplot to the story, not the main focus. It also will not only be made canon at the very last minute.
Seamista will also be canon. However, it is completely rewritten as Sea Hawk is 80s Sea Hawk, not reboot Sea Hawk.
I'm on the fence about Glimbow and Scorfuma, so there's a good chance they won't be canon.
(Clarification: My Double Trouble is closely resembling 80s Double Trouble and the She-ra Bible version, so if I use she/her pronouns for Double Trouble, I am not talking about the reboot version. )
Conclusion
Is there anything you would want to see in my rewrite? What should I consider when writing it? What should I avoid? Tell me what ya think.
(And before anyone complains, I'm tagging this in the main tag because this post is related to the show. I find the idea that you can't tag posts related to a show in the main tag because it's not " positive" and is criticizing it to be a bit ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with critism as long as it is respectful to the real people that post under the tag.)

Nostalgia and Apologies
This is my first fic for the spop fandom! Feedback, likes, and reblogs are greatly appreciated :) Enjoy!
Happy Birthday Scorpia!!
Pairings: platonic scorptra, background romantic catradora, mentioned scorfuma, implied entrapdak
Words: 1964
CW: slight angst, bad flirting, unreliable narrator
Summary: Etheria's magic is restored; the Hoard has been defeated. Scorpia wants to take her kingdom back, so in order to do so, she brings Entrapta (the tech master), Adora (the crushing master), Perfuma (the plant master), and... Catra. Nostalgia is in order, and so are apologies.
-------------------------------------
After Etheria's magic was fully restored and the world was safe from Hoard Prime, The Fright Zone had no use. Entrapta returned to her palace and Hordak went with her; with Shadow Weaver gone as well, no one had felt the need to stay. (After all, the good food was outside in the world. Not one person wanted those ration bars once they discovered fruit). So all the former hoard soldiers made their own homes with new lives where they came from in the rest of Etheria. This was not the most easy thing to do, since most people were still aggressive towards the Hoard, and quite a few of those soldiers struggled to find places to stay outside of the now abandoned Fright Zone. But for the most part, the former soldiers were able to start over.
Then there was Scorpia. Like most of the other soldiers, she had been with the Hoard her entire life, but unlike them, she had nowhere else to go. Her kingdom had been taken over by the Horad; it was the Fright Zone.
So, she was going to take it back.
Scorpia, Entrapta, Catra, Adora, and Perfuma walked towards the Fright Zone through the Whispering Woods. The forest was now even more magical, filled with creatures Etheria had not seen in a thousand years. Perfuma was talking with Adora, Catra walking next to the latter, and leading the way was Scorpia with Entrapta using her hair to walk beside her.
"I'm so glad you asked me to help with the Fright Zone!" Entrapta said, talking animatedly. "There will be so many useful materials I'll be able to bring back to my lab when this is done! Although normally I'm better at putting things together than taking them apart..."
"That's what I'm here for," Adora said with a smirk, cracking her knuckles. Catra rolled her eyes fondly from beside her.
"Yes exactly! Anyway with the components from the power system, and the sheer amount of metal I can collect from the buildings, ohhh," Entrapta said enthusiastically, rubbing her hands together before going on a tangent about all the things she could do with metal plating.
Scorpia smiled at her friend, listening intently even though she didn't know half the things Entrapta was talking about. (But she did know who Darla was! So. That's one more thing).
As they reached the edge of the forest, the five faced the horizon of the Fright Zone, the wasteland now covered in bright flowering plants. The three former Hoard soldiers stopped at the sight.
"It's so beautiful here, it's almost impossible to tell it was ever so dark and dreary," Perfuma said, examining the flowers growing in some of the broken down machinery.
Entrapta clapped and made a noise of excitement. "Perfuma, help me with these plants!" she said quickly, moving towards a large mechanical structure.
While Entrapta kept walking into the familiar territory, Perfuma following behind her, the three former force captains were frozen in place.
A flood of feelings came surging at Scorpia (and she could only imagine, the others as well) at the sight. All of the memories... all of the moments that took place in what was essentially a prison. Of course  they had not known that then, but it was clear now. It didn't change the fact that she had known every corner of the Fright Zone from the dorms to the cell blocks for her entire life. Knowing the truth doesn't change the past, it only drives what must be changed in the future.
"It's weird- I don't think of this place as my home anymore, but there are so many memories I have of here… I can't not feel nostalgic," Adora spoke up after some moments.
"Yeah…" Scorpia and Catra echoed simultaneously, which snapped them out of their trance-like state, both glancing towards the other.
"Oh hey, remember the old training grounds!" Adora called, already running into the tangle of plant-covered buildings.
"You mean the one that broke down after, like, 2 squadrons trained there?" Scorpia called back, running after her.
"Yeah, Catra and I used to go play by it all the time as kids, right….. kitty cat?"
"Absolutely not," Catra said, appearing next to Adora as if she had teleported. Dang that girl… cat... was fast. "I've already said no to 'kitty' and 'kitten'. There's no way I'm accepting 'kitty cat'. Or any cat-themed pet name!"
"Oh come on, tabby, that's no fun," Adora said with a large devious smile as Catra struggled to keep calm.
"You're ignoring the obvious choice here," Scorpia said to Adora, who gasped with mock scandal in return.
"Scorpia, I'm surprised at you! to say something like that in the presence of a lady!" Adora said (with a grin that would normally make her act unconvincing), motioning to Entrapta and Perfuma in the background, Entrapta with her tools whipped out hard at work on an uncovered control pad.
The both of them burst out into laughter, Catra scoffing with her arms crossed behind them.
Scorpia pretended to wipe a tear from her eyes before looking around. "The dining hall!" she exclaimed after a moment, half-running half-walking towards another building. "I used to come here every day," she said as she approached it and stopped, Catra and Adora coming up right behind her.
Another moment of nostalgic silence and the three were running around again, pointing out every embarrassing memory that came with the different areas of the place they once all called home.
"Oh, I remember this place," Adora said as they reached the top of the main building. "We'd come up here constantly. Then Catra would run up there to sulk and I would have to chase her in order to try and talk to her," she said with a smile.
Scorpia remembered similar times with Catra. Those memories were… complicated.
Catra turned to where Adora was talking about and started sprinting, leaping up with cat-like agility up onto the largest platform. Scorpia and Adora glanced at each other before Adora summoned her sword and transformed it to a grappling hook, the both of them running after her.
"We would come up here and talk about how we were going to conquer the world together," Catra said as Adora approached from behind, her voice low. Scorpia walked up on the other side of Catra cautiously. "Remember when you got promoted? Right before you found that sword. I didn't even want to be a Force Captain then." Catra ran a hand over the mossy railing, staring at it in memory.
Adora put a hand on Catra's and looked at her kindly. Catra seemed to relax slightly after that, and Scorpia still couldn't help but feel a ping of jealousy that Adora was able to comfort her in a way she couldn't.
"Hey! Adora!" a voice suddenly called from below them. The three leaned over and looked down to see Entrapta looking up at them, Perfuma waving from beside her.
 "Yeah?" Adora called back.
"Can you come down here and help me with this?" Entrapta yelled in response.
"Sure!" Adora called back once again, stepping back to go down. she paused in the entryway, glancing back at Catra and Scorpia. "You coming?"
"I'll be right there," Catra said, looking back out at the horizon. Adora and Scorpia shared a look, Scorpia glancing between Catra and Adora in an attempt to send a silent message. It must have worked, because Adora gave a thumbs-up back and turned to go and help Entrapta, glowing as she leapt down and out of view.
Scorpia turned back to Catra and crossed her arms on top of the railing. "Are… you okay?"
"I'm sorry," Catra said suddenly, her head lowering. Scorpia was struck silent, her eyes widening just for a second before forcing an understanding look on her face.
"No, don't be! You're good now, we're good, you don't have to apologize-"
Catra cut Scorpia off with a scoff-like noise, her head rolling to the side. "I mean- yes, I'm 'good now', but that doesn't matter!" she exclaimed before looking back down, avoiding Scorpia's gaze. "I still hurt you. I was blinded by my own selfish pain, and… and I was a terrible person! A bad friend, like you said. I tried to apologize before, but you were so… you. You know, after you left-" Catra paused, and looked back down. "I was so… broken. I couldn't even hear your name without feeling like I was going crazy. And later… I realized something. You were so good and understanding and you tried so hard… you were a friend. I could have--I should have appreciated that instead of pushing you father away and just focusing on myself. That's why… I'm sorry."
At that, Scorpia stopped. Looking down as well, she stood in silence with Catra, her friend. "When you came back, I was so happy to see you. Well, I thought I was," Scorpia started after a moment. "I guess I still felt a little guilty, and I thought I had to be happy to see you. I am!" she corrected quickly, and gave a half-sigh, "but I was still kinda confused. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I was so quick to forgive you that I didn't give you a chance to apologize. And because of that, things have been weird. But I don't want them to be."
Scorpia looked up to find Catra finally meeting her gaze. "As far as I'm concerned, we're still friends. And I forgive you," Scorpia said, smiling enthusiastically.
Catra started to smile back, although it was quickly cut off by a gasp from Scorpia. "Does this mean the Super Pal Trio is back together?" Scorpia asked enthusiastically.
Catra laughed. "I guess it does," she said, glancing down at where Entrapta, Perfuma, and She-Ra stood (wrecking things, no doubt).
"Yes!" Scorpia exclaimed, standing up and hugging Catra, who gave in willing. Scorpia did give great hugs. "We gotta go reminisce with Entrapta now." Scorpia turned, walking back out to go down to the other two.
"I'm coming," Catra said, right behind her. And with a final glance out at the familiar outline of the Fright Zone, she left with her friend, a smile on her face.
---
If you would like to know how this story ends, that's simple.
It takes some time, but eventually most of the Fright Zone is dismantled. Some of the materials are left for foundations and such, but Entrapta takes a lot of the resources back to Dryl. The other princesses help with the rebuilding of Horror Hall and the rest of the kingdom as well, making it a beautiful and friendly place to stay (while still maintaining a bit of the original aesthetic). The Black Garnet is moved from a deep dark chamber into the center of the kingdom to out where it can see the sky, filled with the shining sun or stormy clouds or twinkling stars. All the princesses host a huge party to celebrate as soon as the rebuilding is finished, and people from all across Etheria are invited. Remember those former Hoard soldiers who had a hard time finding places to stay? Yeah, all of those people are more than welcome to restart their lives in the former Fright Zone. Oh, and Scorpia and Perfuma are dating now! With all of the princesses and their kingdoms united in this world of magic that they had never known before, Etheria is complete (for the time being. Something always happens). The Best Friend Squad, with the help of their other friends, do end up helping restore magic to the universe, but that's a long story for a different time. For now, the camera fades out on Princess Scorpia and her newly-restored kingdom, her (newly-restored) friends, and all of the world's smiles.

I Want a Baby
Inspired by this post by @comic-book-fan-us, who gave me permission to do a fic about it 8D I did rearrange Mermista and Seahawk’s dialogue, cause to me it made more sense. This is also my first She-ra Fanfic
“Catra.”
The feline woman groaned at her lover’s whispered voice, burying her face deeper into the pillow to tune her out. She wasn’t hearing this. She was fast asleep and not dealing with whatever was happening.
“Catra.”
Nope. Not happening. She was sleeping. Adora could kindly fuck off. It was too fucking early to deal with this shit.
“Catra, I want a baby.”
“Oh my god!” Catra hissed out, turning to lay on her back as she flung her arms out into the air. Was it too much to ask to get some sleep? “Steal one!” Catra’s ears twitched in irritation as she hissed out her solution over the goddamn baby dilemma Adora had been developing. All because she dreamed of some little bratty hybrid of the two of them. That she would then forget about come morning.
“Catra, we can’t steal a baby!” came Adora’s own hissed words, sounding so loud in the darkness of their bedroom. Frankly, she hadn’t been serious. But the utter horror in Adora’s voice at the mere idea, and the brewing pettiness she was feeling over being woken up for the umpteenth time this week, might as well roll with it. Fuck it.
“Why not? That’s how The Horde got us.” The nonchalant in her tone was well practiced, a skill she took pride in harnessing when she tried to keep her cards close. Couldn’t let Adora figure out she was just messing with her. Not yet.
“Exactly! We can’t do the same thing. It’s bad!”
“Well how do you suggest we get one?” Admittedly, Catra didn’t fully know how babies were made. She knew they sorta grew? In women? But how they got in there, she had no clue. It wasn’t really something covered when growing up in the Fright Zone. She doubted Adora knew either.
“Uhh..” She knew it. “We could ask King Micah? He’s Glimmer’s dad, so he’d know right?” Well shit. She didn’t think of that.
“Ugh fine!” she grumbled, turning back to her side. “We can ask him in the morning.” Settling back into the covers, she let out a soft sigh. “If you even remember.” she added in a mumble. Adora better fucking remember, she was not dealing with being woken up over that again.
------
Hordak stood quietly, watching across the field as a group of Etherians enjoyed each other’s company. There were two adults, with different features from each other, and two young children that seemed to be a fusion of them. The children laughed and played while the adults watched on with looks that Hordak was not fully familiar with. It was not anger or disappointment, nor was it indifference. If he was to press the matter, the looks were similar to that of Entrapta as she gazed upon her robotic creations.
A cry suddenly filled the air, causing Hordak to tense. He knew those sounds, they lingered in the back of his mind when his soldiers would bring back new recruits for the nurseries. The cries of an infant.
It came from the family, and sure enough in the arms of one of the adults was a bundle. And in that bundle, was a baby. He could not hear what either of them said as they turned to the small creature, but their faces did not lose that soft look. One of them dug into a bag and brought forth a strange cylinder with a rubber top, which was then placed into the young one’s mouth. The crying ceased and the one holding the tiny thing took over holding the object while the other called to the children for lunch.
A strange feeling bloomed into Hordak’s chest as he watched the family gather around a blanket and enjoy a picnic. Something within him.. Longed for such a scene. An image forming in his mind of him and Entrapta in place of the adults, and in his arms a small bundle of their own.
Overcome by such a vision, he took out his communications pad and opened a link to Entrapta’s. He did not hesitate as he typed his message to her. I want a baby.
He watched after he sent it, waiting on bated breath for her response. She did not keep him waiting, for within a minute she sent a picture. It was unexpected, and he was not sure what it was he was looking at other than it was of tiny food of sorts. He didn’t know if it was a type of bread or dumpling, or perhaps meat, but he knew that it was not at all an answer to his statement, and implied question.
Did you hear me? He typed back. It would not be the first time that something he, or anyone, said would fly over her head as she was focused on something else. She was often just as excited over her tiny foods as she was with her machines. It was endearing. But he would like some kind of reaction to his wanting of a child.
Yes and you will get one. Was Entrapta’s response, and heat now bloomed into his cheeks. But the nuggets.
Mirth now filled the former invader of Etheria, chuckling quietly at his dear Entrapta’s words. So these tiny round things were called nuggets? She seemed quite excited about them.
How are these nuggets created? He asked, smiling to himself as he watched her wall of text come forth to explain the dish. A new creation of her cooks. He would need to find a way to thank them for bringing such elation to his Entrapta.
As well as ask them what sustenance a baby required.
-----
“Ugh! I’m so bored!” Sometimes being a Princess was such a drag. Like being stuck reading borning reports about the ongoings of one’s kingdom. “I miss beating up Horde bots.” Peace was good and all, but damn it all when there was nothing to do but count down to the next hangout with the others.
“Perhaps we should go on a little trip Dearest?” Mermista jumped at Seahawk’s voice, looking up from the dumb papers to see him sitting in his little chair by hers. She forgot he was there. He had been… unusually quiet for Seahawk.
“You’d just set the boat of fire if we did.” she grumbled at him, turning her head to hide her flushed cheeks. He better not have realized he startled her. God that’d just be the worst. “Why are you here anyway? Don’t you have like, an adventure to go on or something?” She asked, acting annoyed as she pretended to read another report. In truth, she was happy he was there with her. His presence was comforting. But she wasn’t in the business of just showing that. At least not where her guards could see. Showing genuine affectionate emotion in front of other people? No thanks.
“Why to spend time with you of course!” came the ever chipper response from the adventurer. God was there anyone more sunshiney than Seahawk? Even Perfuma could let her temper get the best of her sometimes. But Seahawk? Seahawk was like the sun personified. She fell in love with literal sunshine.
“I’m just doing dumb Princess paperwork stuff. It’s not like that’s interesting or whatever.” she muttered out, trying to deflect from the fact that his words made her feel all fluttery inside. Gross.
“On the contrary!” Seahawk protested, grinning that stupid cute grin of his, “Any moment spent with you is an adventure!” Mermista shoved the reports further into her face, hiding away the red hue that overtook her cheeks. That smooth motherfucker. “Though now that I have a moment of your attention, there was something I wished to discuss with you, my pearl.”
“Uuuggh.” she groaned out, because if she didn’t she might make some embarrassing noise from his stupid terms of endearment that did stupid thigns to her heart. “What is it?”
“Well Angelfish, we’ve been together for some time now, and I’ve been thinking that our crew could use a few more hands on deck.” Great, he was talking in ship metaphors now. That meant he really wanted something.
“Get to the pooooint.” she groaned. The sooner he said what he wanted, the better.
“I want a baby.”
“No.”
“Oh okay.”
Silence filled the room as Mermista processed what the hell just happened. To be honest, she said no before she even registered what he said. Because she thought it’d be getting another ship, that’d he’d burn down, or hiring a crew, who he’d piss off by burning down their ship. She didn’t think he was gonna say he wanted kids. And then he just… accepted her no? Like that? No puppy eyes? No whining? No sweet talking? Just ‘oh okay’?
Did she even want kids? Mermista never gave it any thought before. She was stuck running a kingdom during a long war, then joining a new Princess Alliance, then winning the war. Somewhere along the way Seahawk became more and more important to her, until they became a...thing. A couple? Lovers? Whatever. A thing. Honestly? She could see herself spending the rest of her life with this loveable idiot of a sailor.
Maybe having a kid with him wouldn't be so bad? But she couldn’t just outright say so, not after saying no. She had to rework it, so she didn’t look stupid. Clearing her throat, she squared her shoulders and looked anywhere but at Seahawk. “Wait but don’t ask another girl.” she added on, even though they both knew he would never. Seahawk was a faithful man. “I’ll do it.”
“Really?” Looking out the corner of her eye, she saw his eyes grew larger in excitement, practically sparkling with that concentrated sunshine he seemed to be made from. Literally jumping for joy, Seahawk cheered into the air as his little chair fell backwards. “We’re gonna be the greatest parents to ever sail the seas!” A small little smile stretched on Mermista’s lips, soft and full of adoration as her shoulders relaxed.
That smile soon turned into a smirk as she set the papers down. “Of course. I’ll be the most kickass mom ever.” she said with confidence. And why wouldn’t she? She was a kick ass princess. Motherhood would have nothing on her. “Come on, I’m bored of reports. Let’s go find some bandits to beat up and set their ships on fire.” She could practically feel the utter aww coming from her man.
“You are the moon to my tide.”
“I know.”
-----
“Yeah! I win!” Spineralla chuckled as she watched her wife play with Frosta. The young Princess cheered in victory, her smile so bright that it warmed the woman up. Her wife’s little grin, that she was clearly trying to hide so she could pretend to be a sore loser, made that warmth grow.
“What do you guys want for lunch?” she called out, gaining the two’s attention. They shared a look, communicating silently, before turning back to her.
“Pizza!” Spinneralla chuckled before shaking her head. The two were obsessed over that new food creation. It was practically all Netossa ever asked for. In fairness, they hadn’t had it in a couple days, but still. She’d rather they eat something with vegetables.
“Come inside and I’ll think about it.” The lavender haired woman responded humorously, unable to fight the smile on her lips. She’d really would rather have something else, but there odds were high that the two would wear her down to a yes. They were a fearsome duo. A fact they knew all too well, given how Frosta cheered victoriously as she ran towards the cottage the married couple lived in. “Be sure to wash your hands.” Spinneralla instructed as the young princess ran past.
Netossa took her leisure, wearing a smirk upon her lips as she advanced upon her wife. “Hey you.” she greeted, wrapping her arms around Spineralla. The wind princess chuckled, placing her arms on her wife’s shoulders in turn.
“Hello to you too Darling.” Leaning in, she pecked her wife’s cheek. “You seemed to be having fun out there.” she noted casually. “Despite losing.” Netossa shrugged, as if losing a game was not a big deal at all. Which for most people, that was the case. Netossa was not most people.
“What can I say?” the white-haired princess answered nonchalantly, “Kid beat me fair and square.” Spinerella raised a brow at that.
“Oh she did, did she?” she asked, humor in her voice. She couldn’t help but tease really. Of all the years she dealt with her wife’s competitive nature (that she did not share, no matter what Netossa claimed), it was funny to see her willingly lose and then act like nothing was amiss. Behind her back, Spinerella could not resist counting down with her fingers. Right as she put down her last finger, Netossa threw her arms up.
“Okay fine! I let her win! So that loss didn’t count.”
That was more like her girl.
“Well I’m proud of you.” she told her, smiling with all the adoration she had for her lovely wife. Netossa seemed to puff up with pride at that. “Now before you wash up, I wanted to talk to you about something.”
“What’s up?” Netossa asked, raising an eyebrow. The purple-haired woman glanced back towards the direction Frosta disappeared to, double checking that the young princess hadn’t returned. From the sounds of things, she was still in the bathroom, loudly washing up. Or destroying it. Little hard to tell.
“I want a baby.” Looking back at Netossa, she witnessed her wife’s stunned expression. She clearly hadn’t been expecting it. After a few blinks, Netossa seemed to relax and smirk at her.
“Get me a pizza and I’ll think about it.”
“You are the worst!” Spinerella exclaimed, slapping her arm gently. Netossa snickered in response.
“But seriously, a baby? Do we have the time to take care of one of those?” the other went on to ask. “We’ve got our hands full whenever Frosta comes over to play. Not to say I can’t handle it, cause I definitely can. Better than anyone else even.” Even in this, Netossa’s competitive nature showed its head. “I just worry about you. I know you haven’t been able to sleep well since the war.”
Spinerella softened at those words, her heart filled with warmth and love. It was true, since the war- since being free of the chip, she hadn’t always gotten the best sleep. There were many times she’d move restlessly or even be woken up by nightmares. It was getting better with each passing day, but… slowly. “Thank you Darling.” she said softly, reaching up to cup a dark cheek. Netossa didn’t hesitate to lean into her touch. “But what if I told you the baby I wanted… was Frosta?”
“Isn’t she a little old to be a baby?”
“Technically, yes, but she could still be our baby.” Blue eyes looked into onyx, wide and pleading. “What do you think?” Netossa frowned thoughtfully, pulling away from Spinerella as she placed her hand on her chin.
“We’d have to move to the Kingdom of Snows.” she pointed out. “Unlike us, she’s a princess in charge of a kingdom.” This was true. Frosta was the current ruler of her homeland, with duties and responsibilities. Logically, they would move to her kingdom rather than have her move to Bright Moon. Spinerella knew this, took it into consideration, before even thinking about asking Netossa.
“I know, and I’m willing to do that.” she said, clasping her hands in front of her. “That is… if you are.” The two stared at one another, the silence stretching. Then Netossa sighed, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
“Yeah… Yeah I am.” Elation filled Spinerella up, her face becoming bright.
“Pizaaaaaaaaaaa!”
Both women turned their heads in time to watch Frosta run down the hall and into the kitchen. They laughed quietly to themselves, charmed and amused by her enthusiasm. She hadn’t even realized they were still in the entryway.
“Guess I better make that Pizza then.” Spinerella chuckled. “But I’m adding some veggies to it.”
“Yeah okay, I can live with that.” Netossa replied, folding her hands behind her head as the two began to head for the kitchen themselves. “Just don’t go overboard.” she added. “We want Frosta to actually agree with having us as her official new Moms.”
“I think I can manage that.”

There were many things Bow knew logically that came with being the fiancé of the Queen of Brightmoon. He just... hadn't gotten used to them. Yet. He was sure he would at some point. Eventually. Maybe. Surely by the time he and Glimmer actually got married. Of course, by then he’d be the husband of the Queen of Brightmoon. Which means he’d be the new King of Brightmoon. King Bow. Oh stars above he was gonna be King-
“Glimmer, I’m freaking out.”
“Wha- no don’t freak out!” Glimmer shouted, sounding a little freaked out herself as she turned away from the royal wedding planner (that Glimmer got before Aunt Castaspella could arrive to volunteer for the job) who had unintentionally started this spiral of freak-out by their very formal and respectful way of addressing Bow. Instantly, she teleported to his side, sparkles filling the air. “Why are we freaking out?”
“We’re gonna get married and I’m gonna be King and I don’t think I’m cut out to be a king.” he began, his words spilling out like a busted dam. Once he started, he couldn’t stop. “What if I accidentally get someone arrested because I complained about something or because they walked into me? Or what if I cause an international incident with one of the other kingdoms? What if I become a tyrant!?”
“Sweetie, you’re not gonna become a tyrant.”
“You don’t know that!” Bow’s eyes burned with unshed tears. He didn’t want to screw things up, but he worried that was exactly what was gonna happen. Gentle hands took hold of his own, anchoring him. Glimmer smiled up at him with a look so soft and loving, it made his shoulders begin to ease down from their tensed position.
“You’re not going to be a tyrant.” she insisted, voice calm and caring. “You are one of the sweetest people in all of Etheria. Probably in the whole universe.” A cute chuckle left her as she spoke the last part. The sound helped put him more at ease. “You are so thoughtful and kind and intelligent. There is no one who would be better suited to rule by my side. And even if there were, I wouldn’t want them because I want you. I love you.”
“I love you too.” The response was instant, a truth he never got tired of saying. He loved Glimmer. Plain and simple.
“So we’ll do this together, just like how we’ve done everything else together. Well almost everything. You get what I mean.” That got a chuckle out of him. “And hey, whatever mistakes you do make, it couldn’t possibly be as bad as almost blowing up Etheria with a super weapon.”
“Heh yeah, that was pretty bad.” The two chuckled, and how strange was it to laugh about that now?
“See? You’ll be fine. You can do this. We can do this. And we’ll be one big happy family.” Bow nodded along, letting her words wash over him. She was right. They could do it. He could do it. They took on the Horde when they were just a couple of teens sneaking behind their parents’ backs. Ruling a Kingdom was way less terrifying. With Glimmer by his side, he could do just about anything.
“Yeah.” Of course, his insecurities weren’t gone for good. He’d probably have moments again in the future where he’ll feel he’s unable to live up to everyone’s expectations. Where he’ll doubt himself and wonder if he was a big fake all along. But he trusted Glimmer, and all his friends really, to be able to pull him back every time. “One big happy-” Warm brown eyes blinked. “Wait…”
The gears began to turn in Bow’s brain as he processed what else his glittery fiancé had said. “Are we a big family cause we’re counting my parents and brothers with Castaspella and your dad or-?” Glimmer startled at that, as if she just realized what she said too. A flush spread along her cheeks as she tapped her pointer fingers together.
“Ah I mean yeah, I guess with them we’d be a big family. But what I meant was um… well we’ve never talked about it before, so I don’t know how you’d feel on the subject, but it’d be better if we did talk about it before, you know, we get married and all.” She was rambling. Whatever it was, she must have been nervous. Glimmer always rambled when she was nervous.  “It’s especially important to talk about it cause it’d affect you the most, so your opinions on it matter the most and I don’t want you to feel pressured or anything-”
“Hey.” Bow’s voice was soft as he interrupted, lifting one of his hands up to cup her face. His eyes softened as he watched her lean into his touch. “It’s okay.” he continued, “Say whatever’s on your mind.”
“I want a baby! Now that it was out in the open, Bow really couldn’t say he was surprised. The talk of a big family, how it’d affect him the most, it all added up. He could also see why she had been nervous to bring it up to begin with. Babies were an uncharted territory and the idea of being pregnant was kind of scary. His body would change, would grow softer and rounder, he’d had to stop binding, it was a lot. But he’d be lying if he said the idea of carrying Glimmer’s child didn’t fill him with excitement and wonder.
Something that tied the two of them together. A little person they could raise and encourage to be whoever they wanted to be. Maybe they’d have her nose and his eyes. Would they have Glimmer’s laugh? They’d probably be twice as stubborn.
Bow loved them already.
With a warm smile, he took Glimmer’s hands into his own. His eyes grew wet with new tears, but these ones were much happier. “Yes ma’am.” A sharp inhale and then a squeal before Bow found himself with his arms full of Brightmoon’s Queen. Laughter followed after, filling the air as the engaged couple basked in their happiness.

“Hey Perfuma? Have you seen Emily?” The flower powered princess turned her head as Scorpia entered the clearing, her hands ceasing their tapping on her drum.
“Last I saw her, she was playing with the children.” Or rather, they were running around the large bot and throwing petals on her. But Perfuma believed that Entrapta’s precious metal baby was having fun. “I’m sure she’s fine though,” she added on, smiling sweetly at the other. “Why don’t you come sit with me, Baby?” Patting the soft grassy spot beside her, Perfuma gave her best pleading eyes. Not that they were needed, Scorpia loved spending time with her just as much as she did.
“Yeah okay, sure.” In no time at all, Scorpia was beside her, their elbows touching. “So watcha doing?”
“Just harmonizing with nature.” Nimble fingers tapped against the drum, filling the air with rhythmic sound. “Letting it speak its truths to me.”
“Oh okay.” Perfuma closed her eyes, letting herself tune back into the land around her. “What’s it saying?” She giggled, opening one eye to peek at her beloved.
“Well it’s not speaking with words per say.” she explained, still gently tapping away, “More of a feeling.” A gentle breeze blew by, making her blonde locks wave in greeting. “It feels like a good feeling though, so I believe that it’s telling me it's happy.” The sun was shining, the grass was soft, the flowers were blooming vibrantly, that had to be the meaning. Nature was happy and healthy and thriving.
“Awww that’s great!” Scorpia beamed, reaching out one of her pincers to pet the grass. “I’m glad you’re feeling good!” Perfuma’s heart fluttered as she gave the other her full attention. Most people, outside her kingdom, would find her silly for talking about nature’s feelings. But Scorpia took it seriously and cared so deeply. Those were some of her best qualities and Perfuma loved her so much.
A series of chirps sang out, coming from a nest in a nearby tree and calling her attention. Baby birds sang out to their parents, who in turn were feeding them. The blonde princess watched them for a moment, a smile on her face. Off in the distance, a mare and her foal grazed in the grass.
Nature had another message for her it seemed.
Perfuma had been thinking about it for some time. But she hadn’t been sure if either one of them would be ready, or how Scorpia would feel about it. However, she’d never know if she didn’t at least talk about it and Etheria knew it. “Scorpia?” Soft brown eyes turned back to look at her white-haired darling. The pincer princess looked back at her with her sweet puppy eyes.
“Yeah?”
“I want a baby.”
Scorpia blinked at her, confusion filling her face. Perfuma waited patiently as her darling took the time she needed to process the information. A puzzled frown pulled at her lips before the lightning princess finally responded.
“I’m baby.”
Now it was Perfuma’s turn to blink. “What?”
“I’m baby.” the other repeated. “Aren’t I? That’s what you always call me. Oh and some of the cadets I grew up with back in the fright zone. And sometimes our friends will say ‘Don’t pick on Scorpia, she’s baby’. “ Scorpia’s pincers waved in the air as she attempted to mimic the others. The action, and her explanation, made the flower princess laugh.
“Oh Scorpia.” she giggled out, her smile warm. “You’re certainly my Baby. But I was meaning an actual baby.” Realization dawned on the other princess, her eyes wide as her lips formed a silent o. “I want to be a mother. With you.” Perfuma went on to say, smiling lovingly towards her gentle giant. “Is that something you might want too?” There was a nervous flutter in her stomach as she asked, but it was small. It was only natural of course, to feel that way when asking to take a big step with one’s significant other. She wasn’t worried though. No matter what Scorpia decided, their love would remain strong.
“Oh um..” Scorpia rubbed the back of her head while her cheeks began to fill with red. “Uh yeah, someday,” she answered, a shy smile on her face. “I’m not sure I’m ready to be a mom yet, or if I’d be any good at it really, but I’d like to one day. With you.” The shy smile turned into a nervous frown. “That’s okay right? You don’t mind waiting do you? I mean, if that’s too much I can try and-” Perfuma leaned towards her beloved and pressed a finger to her lips. Instantly Scorpia grew quiet, save for the nervous clack of her pincers.
“Of course it’s alright,” the blonde assured, her eyes warm and gentle. “I’d never ask you to ever do something you didn’t feel ready for. And if you find that you don’t want to be a mom ever, that’s fine too. I’m happy just having you in my life.” Scorpia’s face reddened more, but a happy goofy grin stretched over her lips. It made Perfuma smile wide in return. Removing her finger, she returned back to her drum. “For what it’s worth though,” she added, “I think you’d be a wonderful mother.”
Scorpia’s flustered noises met with Perfuma’s giggles, joining in with the sound of nature in perfect harmony.

Scorpia has a lot of great lines, but one that I completely missed the first time is in the Crimson Waste, when she says “Maybe I should have skipped Orientation,” jabs Catra in the side, laughs at herself, then adds, “You know what I mean?”
Subtle, Scorpia.

The fact that Scorpia and Perfuma weren’t planned endgame from the start blows my mind because they’re just. so perfect for each other it’s like they’re meant to be. so the fact that that wasn’t intentional? makes me go a little crazy

Chapter 20: Scorpia of You Should See Me In A Crown is up on ao3
Another emotion-heavy chapter after two chapters of Catradora being lovestruck
Hordak is dead, crushed under falling metal. Glimmer is gone, saved by Bow. And for one stupid, weak minute Catra thinks about joining them. She doesn’t, she stays. Sits upon a throne that she’s won but means nothing. The war is over isn’t it? Her forces are crushed and there’s nothing else for her to climb for power. All that’s left to do is fall.
---- What if Hordak died and Horde Prime had waited a little longer before showing up? Or my flimsy excuse for Adora to see Catra at her worst as she has a breakdown on a throne and the subsequent fallout and falling back in.

I watched all of She-Ra in one weekend...
I have silly habit of starting shows once I see how it ends on Tumblr and this was no exception :)  Here are my thoughts
* Didn’t really grip me until Princess Prom
* From there it just kept getting better, and Better, and BETTER
* Scorpia was my fav from her first episode (Baby girl. Baby)
* Pretty much every character that didn’t sit with me got more likable after they had some episodes (Swift Wind, Entrapta, Lonnie and the Gang)
* EXCEPT Shadow Weaver she was **the WOooOorrrstt**
* Really liked the sort of blend between fantasy and sci-fi. Like I’m down with magic swords and rainbows but when people saw stars for the first time it hit different
* Catra’s redemption arc was well layered... loved her most when she was in the Crimson waste and her regard for others just... flat out died for a bit there
* Wrong Hordak was a gift I didn’t know I needed ;)
*Only things I would change would be to make Shadow Weaver’s impact on Adora more present... when Glimmer got all chummy with SW in S4 I just felt like Adora should have more motivation against it
* Also Micah was kinda... not my favorite. I don’t know if the show needed to show him more or less but I just thought he wasn’t really necessary
* Lastly I wish Scorfuma was cannon but hey that’s what the fandom is for
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power was entertaining and well written, with unique and enjoyable characters left and right, and each season exceeding the one before. It was predictable enough to feel comfortable and in place, yet surprising enough to keep me griped.
Fun time overall.

She ra is an overhyped mess
I do not get how it was praised so much and was apparently the point were she ra got popular or at least had its popularity grow because there was just so much wrong in s5
The characters are either acting out of character, wasted, used for shipping, have no character development or just badly written
The only characters that i can think of that was well written and not wasted was shadow weaver, angella, mara and lighthope. Mara, angella and lighthope story was already finished so they wouldnt be affected by s5's writing. With shadow weaver, they have her still be a villain which she was great at so that's good at least. But that couldnt be said for the other characters because there stories either was brushed off to never be focused on again, badly written or there was just never a story to begin with.
The tonal issues they have in the later episodes of s5 even though were suppose to take this series seriously. She ra always have tonal issues like with princess prom and those episodes in s4 but it hasnt changed in s5 like in perls of peekablue, their acting like its a fun party when its not and taking control has a sideplot of the rebellion gang going to a party like dont you guys have war rn?
Theres this plothole of grayskull because how its explained in return of the frightzone makes no sense, although maybe im wrong, its coming from memory
How they do redemption with catra and hordax-do i even need to explain further? Like both are shit, catra and hordax didnt change in the end. Hordax may be a worse case because some people say that he wasnt even meant to be redeemed but have an arc about finding himself and acceptance which if thats the intent, why tf would you pick the colonizer that took and brainwash children into harming innocent people? Wheres the thought process in that?
And the romance....look im not big on romances, in fact, i dislike romance but even if i like romance, i wouldnt like most of the she ra endgames writing. Catradora is still toxic as catra didnt change and dismisses all that pain she put adora through for 3 years straight. Spinnetossa was okay because they already were togather but it has a questionable moment to say the least and the closure of their arc in s5 is just poorly worded. Seamista barely has any development for their romance to work plus both wouldnt even be that healthy anyway, seahawk disrespects mermistas boundaries and mermista avoids him and is openly irritated by him so them being canon without much development from the two is really jarring and tbh, kinda ick to me. Now as much as i love glimbow and scorfuma, both weren't so well written, glimbow came out of no where while scorfuma only got a bit of development. Doesnt help that theres no slight indication of them being a couple unlike the rest of the ships so it also kind of came out of nowhere for it to be endgame. The only ship that worked was entrapdak because its healthy, their relationship developed and it doesnt even need to show us a big love confession or something because we as the audience can understand that they are in love so it makes sense for them being canon.
Oh and i forgot horde primes plans make less sense overtime, she ra learnt her new powers way too quickly, catra was forgiven way too quickly, the abliesm in launch was handled terribly, catradora is getting worse than i thought it was and all in all was a dumpter fire that for some reason got a golden platter by critics and fans in 2020
Sorry for the rambling, i still dont get how people call she ra almost perfect when s5 proves otherwise and no one in that time era besides those small creators on youtube mentions its obvious flaws. The whole thing makes me face palm

Okay about how long did Entrapta and Hordak know each other as in personally interacting. They met on s2 after Catra told Entrapta to stay away from Hordak. From then since Catra getting sentenced to death it was how long, a week? Then the entire season 3 takes place within idk, a couple of days?
I just consider this fact when people say that they're gonna like totally get married now that they reunited. Same with Scorfuma.
Ehhhh
I dont give a shit about characters getting married
Theres nothing more alienating for a single 26 year old than thinking about dozens of people younger than you getting married
As for how long they knew each other, I can actually give you a pretty good timeline
"Huntara", the ep where they actually became friends for real and Hordak got his armor change, that was 135 days after they started working together in "Signals". Then give it a couple of weeks before "Moment of Truth".
Beast Island was AT LEAST six months bare minimum, Prime's Invasion (the time Scorpia and Perfuma knew each other) was 3 months bare minimum, both were most likely longer.
It's hard to estimate. Some stories take place a couple eps apart, like "The Sword" and "Flowers for She-ra", and then Adora will try to use a code that "hasn't been in use for MONTHS" and that's supposed to imply shes been gone for months?
Tumblr media
But yeah with Entrapta and Hordak in particular they absolutely spent more time ripped apart than working together. They were only just figuring out the shape of their friendship. Scorpia and Perfuma were also ripped apart before they could make sense of what their relationship was either.
But I actually really like that, because these characters were impacted so strongly by that brief time they were connecting, it had basically changed them. They both try to go back to how things were before they became friends - Entrapta isolating herself with tech in the portal and on the island, Hordak hiding in his lab then trying to be a good boy for Prime - and they can't stand it. By their standards it would've been bliss for them at the start of the show, but now it feels so empty. And even though they have painful reason to believe their friendship was fake, or it’s an obstruction in the way of greater plans, they can’t let it go. They spend the rest of the show trying to connect with other people (Bow, Catra), and seeking each other out. They don't need to know what their connection is in order to understand it's there.
Tumblr media
As for Perfuma and Scorpia, what I really love about this relationship is Perfuma can see the value in Scorpia that nobody else really acknowledged before. Yeah, Scorpia was loved by Catra and Entrapta, but those two weren't able to---- okay maybe I shouldn't have mentioned them because I'm actually angry at Scorpia's lack of good interactions with them in season 5. But my point is that Perfuma was put-together and assertive enough to be the missing half of Scorpia, to REALLY support her and give her encouragement for how hard she's been working for her friends this whole time. And likewise, Scorpia is the symbol of tolerance and love that had been missing from Perfuma.
So yeah, as "undefined" as these relationships are, theyre still really good. I can see why everyone would jump on them.
I mean, you also have word of god pairing them together, what can people say against that? Of course the fans will ship them if the Showrunner is suggesting they hook up. Not that I'm particularly interested in Word of God since it can be bad, wrong, and overruled.

scorpia and entrapta!
I'm finally answering these after like three weeks. Yay, thank you all for your patience😭.
We'll do Entrapta first
Tumblr media
Almost couldve got double bingo! If you’ve followed me forever you know how I feel about this baddie. But to sum it up:
-She’s the MVP of She-Ra. So much of this show’s plot is non-existent without her.
-Her ship is the best in the show. Can respect the C/A grind but what her and Hordak got? *Chef kisses* Just hits all my spots.
-There’s such a lack of nuanced takes about her and its been a thing since forever. And so, I confidently say everyone is wrong about them but me :3
-Fans do her dirty by consistently lightening her skintone. I swear because she didn't sound like a woc (whatever that means) people didn't recognize her as such and thus lightened her up all the time.
-The show definitely used her as much as they could as a side character but she also has main character potential. She’s one of the few from the cast that could get a spin-off that would likely be massively successful.
Scorpia:
Tumblr media
No bingo :(
Scorpia’s odd because I definitely love her. Love her design, love the voice. But, I dont think about her a lot. I mostly just stare in admiration. I think the show did her dirty. Taking her out the plot just as Catra gets back to Etheria was a “no” for me and I think a lot of people that struggled liking Catra’s arc mention this too. It’s unfortunate she didnt get time to reconcile her relationships with Catra and Entrapta despite them all being on the same again. Idk I feel like for all the development we got for her in S4, her presence in S5, aside from the end of the Peekablue episode, felt pretty shallow.
And of course, I wish we got more development on her family and whatever the hell happened between them and Hordak. I feel like Scorpia/Scorpion Kingdom couldve been key in showing how both sides of the conflict have their own agendas and opportunities to be harmful allies.
*whispers* Scorfuma is meh, Lonnie/Scorpia forever!

// SPOP rant, abuse
another thing I’ve just realized, is that Catra and Hordak were only “redeemed” because they had love interests. C*tradora was apparently supposed to be canon from the very start (obviously bullshit), and while Hordak and Entrapta’s romance wasn’t explicit, it’s still implied and Noelle has shown to be supportive of them. Despite the awful things they’ve both done, Catra and Hordak were “redeemed” with no consequences at all, even after all their abuse, imperialism and war crimes.
Otherwise, Shadow Weaver and Horde Prime were killed off (not that I’m particularly supportive of either, but it’s interesting to observe that). Neither had any love interests. And it’s also quite notable the fact that almost every character is paired up with someone else (C*tradora, Scorfuma, Glimbow, Seamista, Kyle/Rogelio/Lonnie...), most of these pairings having little to no build up at all, or also romanticizing abuse/bullying (as in the case of C//A and Kyle/Rogelio/Lonnie).
Like even if I do like some of these ships, it astounds me how a show so praised for being LGBT-diverse is so shallow and awful with its romances. Not to mention that it excludes the aro and ace spectrums, or basically the fact that hey, not everyone needs to be in a romantic relationship to be happy.

HEY Y’ALL GUESS WHO FINALLY FINISHED WATCHING SHE-RA AND LET ME SAY
HOLY SHIT
ok spoilers begin below but i HAVE to talk about this also shoutout to @dappercritter who convinced me to finish it because i was kinda having second thoughts ngl
so anyway. that was one HELL of a redemption arc catra went through. i... admittedly greatly disliked catra for the LONGEST time. we’re talking like four seasons. but the way noelle made me take back my words- i just. i’m stunned. STUNNED. also honorable mention: i watched it with my 9 year old sister and when the (ICONIC MIGHT I ADD) catradora kiss happened on-screen she audibly said “ew” (not because she’s homophobic--after fucking v*ltr*n happened i made sure she knew wtf was up bc i thought things were gonna go DIFFERENTLY AND I’M STILL MAD ABOUT IT but that’s for another time. anyway she said ew because she HATES on-screen physical affection, you know how 9yos are with cooties and all that) and i laughed SO hard
and do you know what else the show convinced me about at the VERY END? entrapdak! at the beginning i was like... hm but i’m down for it now even with wrong hordak in the mix (whom, might i add, was the FUNNIEST character to ever be on tv).
one thing i wish had happened though was scorfuma. i LOVED them together SO much. at first in the early seasons i was leaning towards scorpia with huntara, but honestly. i LIVE for them. anyways i used to hate perfuma (YES i used to hate a lot of characters WHAT OF IT) but i think now she may actually be my favorite princess. she’s certainly up there.
ANYWAY now that i’ve finished i know a couple of you wanted to CONVERSE very intensely like we used to in the *wipes tear* vld days of old, so fire away i’m so excited i love this show SO much and... anyway

For the fandom ask game: She-ra
Thank you!! Sorry this took so long to get to!
Fandom ask game
Favourite Character: Catra! Loved her from the first promotional picture. After the first season I got a poster of her on my wall and then spent the next few years desperately hoping for her redemption/happiness, and s5 delieved both and absolutely cemented her as my #1
least favourite character: Hordak. If people like him that’s fine, I just don’t get it. Like, I hate Horde Prime and Shadow Weaver - but it’s because your supposed to and they’re good antagonists. With Hordak we never saw much of him as an antagonist before we were supposed to sympathise with him (which I did not), and I don’t really care for either villain or sort-of-redemmed Hordak.
Wrong Hordak on the other hand.... amazing.
brOTP: Best Friend Squad!! And I love Catra and Scorpia as a dynamic duo
OTP: Catradora! They’re my #3 favourite ship of all time
OT3: Glitradora - you get the friends-enemies-friends-lovers of Catradora, the princess and her knight of Glimmadora, and the enemies/narrative foils of Glitra. Love it! All their different dynamics as wonderful.
NOTP: Aside from like, the canon lesbian characters being shipped with guys (gross) or any bad age-gap/power imbalance ships (also gross) there’s nothing I really dislike. I’m not a fan on Entrapta and Hordak as a romantic couple, I see them more as a qpr, but they’re not so much a ‘notp’ as just something I don’t personally ship
Favourite storyline: SAVE THE CAT!!! Corridors set everything up beautifully, but fighting someone you love who’s being mind controlled to attack you is one of the BEST TROPES ever and everything else about the episode is so amazing. Glimmer getting revenge, Bow and Entrapta meeting Wrong Hordak, Horde Prime as a terrifying villain, Catra becoming a part of the team and the way Adora brings back She-Ra!?!?!?!
10/10 absolutely wonderful. Princess Prom is also up there
Least favourite storyline: Protocol. Very boring. I don’t like Light Hope, and while I love the Horde Trio I was hoping for a lot more with them throughout the show and this was their big moment?? Disappointing. Other than this one, the rest of the show is good.
what I wish had happened but didn’t: honestly the 5th season was amazing and really satisfying. There were two sets of characters I felt were underused, but they were minor characters in the first place so I get it, but I still wish we’d seen more of Huntara and the Horde Trio.
Also while Scorfuma is wonderful, I’d been shipping Lonnie x Scorpia since s2 and Perfuma x Huntara since s4 - they both had such amazing chemistry and dynamics!! I wish they’d ended up together (with proper build up), or at least got to interact again.
what happened that I wish hadn’t: Angella and Mara dying rather than being trapped in the portal (I think it’s still implied they’re trapped? But... impossible to get to or something?) And no one talks about it again!! The team needs to go save them! I understand fighting Horde Prime took priority, but I wish there’d been a mention of an idea or design or something to use for the future.
Holding out for that in a She-Ra movie!!!
