🙏 What I’m Grateful For
"I don’t like bullies." — Steve Rogers, Captain America: The First Avenger
The way Captain America fought Hitler’s tyranny is a reminder that...
There are bullies even closer to home:
The habits and comforts that hold us back.
Like any dictator, the flesh wants control.
It wants you to settle into comfort, avoid growth, and live below your potential.
The flesh is just a bully, disguising fear as power.
Why do bullies act?
Because deep down, they feel small and insecure.
Your answer?
Dethrone the flesh by embracing moderation and self-control.
In this week’s blog, I share the other two keys to creating real breakthroughs and transformation:
Beyond Rituals and Routines: 3 Keys to Living a Better Life

We can’t always see it at first,
But if we stay strong, these trials become stepping stones instead of roadblocks.
With time, they’ll push us forward, make us resilient, and eventually work in our favor.

I wanted to elaborate more on the ideas I spoke about on channel 4 in Kansas City on New Years, and the video is shared earlier this week about the necessity of having a QUEST.   Goals need a STRATEGY... Following a Strategy and Achieving Goals towards a Purpose is a Quest... A Meaningful Existence Requires a Quest. In relation to training your trainer can create your STRATegy to make you FIT to Achieve your Goals; they will become your Companion on your Quest. If you are an athlete or gym client, tell your trainer about StratFit Digital. I’ll make a blog post about these ideas later. Stay tuned. #philosophy #philosopher #motivation #motivate #inspire #inspirational #speaker #thought #thinker #think #knowledge #neitzche #stoic #plato #mentaltoughness #growthmindset #mentallystrong #growthquotes #growth #mindset #mindsetofgreatness #toughness #wisdom #selfimprovement

6 Habits Of The Mentally Tough
Mentally strong people have a set of habits that help them navigate life’s challenges with grace and resilience. They don’t let adversity or hardship stop them from achieving their goals and living their best lives. Here are six things that mentally strong people do, and how you can practice them too:
They move on from setbacks and failures, and don’t waste time feeling sorry for themselves. They take responsibility for their actions and learn from their mistakes, rather than dwelling on them. They don’t let negative emotions or self-pity keep them stuck in the past, but rather use them as motivation to improve and grow. For example, if they fail an exam or lose a job, they don’t blame others or give up, but instead analyze what went wrong and how they can do better next time.
They embrace change and welcome challenges as opportunities for growth. They understand that change is inevitable, and they are willing to adapt to new situations and circumstances. They don’t resist or fear change, but rather embrace it with curiosity and optimism. They see challenges as chances to test their skills, learn new things, and overcome obstacles. For example, if they have to move to a new city or start a new project, they don’t complain or worry, but instead look forward to the new experiences and possibilities.
They stay happy by focusing on the things they can control, rather than wasting energy on things they can’t. They cultivate a positive mindset and practice gratitude, even in difficult times. They don’t let external factors or events determine their happiness, but rather find joy in the things that matter to them. They appreciate what they have, rather than envy what they don’t. They also avoid comparing themselves to others, and instead focus on their own strengths and achievements. For example, if they face a financial crisis or a health problem, they don’t despair or panic, but instead look for solutions and count their blessings.
They’re willing to take calculated risks in pursuit of their goals. They understand that taking risks is necessary for growth and success, but they also weigh the potential costs and benefits before making a decision. They don’t act impulsively or recklessly, but rather plan ahead and evaluate the possible outcomes. They also don’t let fear of failure or rejection stop them from trying new things or pursuing their dreams. They are confident in their abilities and willing to face the consequences of their actions. For example, if they want to start a business or ask someone out, they don’t hesitate or doubt themselves, but instead prepare well and go for it.
They seek education and knowledge from experts in their field, and are always looking for ways to improve themselves. They understand that learning is a lifelong process, and they are committed to personal growth. They don’t settle for mediocrity or complacency, but rather strive for excellence and innovation. They also don’t pretend to know everything or act arrogantly, but rather admit their ignorance and seek feedback and advice. They are curious and open-minded, and always eager to learn new things and expand their horizons. For example, if they want to master a skill or acquire a qualification, they don’t rely on their existing knowledge or experience, but instead enroll in courses, read books, watch videos, or consult mentors.
They invest in themselves by taking care of their physical, emotional, and mental health. They prioritize self-care activities like exercise, meditation, and therapy, and they make time for the things that bring them joy. They don’t neglect their well-being or sacrifice their happiness for others’ expectations or demands. They also don’t abuse their bodies or minds with unhealthy habits or substances, but rather treat them with respect and care. They are aware of their needs and limits, and they respect them accordingly. For example, if they feel stressed or tired, they don’t push themselves beyond their capacity or ignore their symptoms, but instead take a break or seek help.
By cultivating these habits, mentally strong people are able to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and grace. They are not immune to pain or suffering, but they are able to cope with them effectively and productively. They are not perfect or flawless, but they are constantly improving and evolving. You can become mentally strong too by practicing these habits daily and consistently. You have the power to shape your own destiny and live your own version of success.
