Friendly reminder that:

-Mel’s first response was to say “Timothy never said no”, but then changed the story to “nothing happened”

-Timothy picked out the game, but didn’t consent to do anything farther

-Timothy only said it was that date because she was looking at the date of a photo which she saved in her camera roll multiple times

-Timothy has nothing to gain from making these allegations again, especially after they ruined her life the first time

-The crybabies hacked Timothy, doxxed her, sent hate, and Melanie thanked them

-Timothy never actually accused anyone else of doing anything, the posts were fabricated

-Timothy wasn’t the only one who made allegations against her

-By saying Timothy is lying because she messed up the date or didn’t give all of the details when she first made the accusations (left out the part about the games) you’re invalidating many, many other victims. -By siding with Melanie you’re telling every survivor in your life that you’re willing to side with the person who assaulted them if you know of the other person if they leave out any part of the story, don’t remember something correctly, etc.

If you support Melanie, get tf off of this blog. Our stance has never changed once since the allegations came out. As soon as Melanie said “she never said no” that should’ve been enough for you. (not to say Timothy is a good person, as she apparently has allegations against her, and is racist)

Melanie King is So much more complicated than just an angry lesbian.

Melanie is a woman who is so used to being over looked that she has decided she is going to make a name for herself, the opinions of others be damned. When everything she's built comes crumbling down because she just wanted some damn answers, she continues to look, to search, to get answers.

She's so standoffish because she is used to men shutting her down, to seeing her as nothing but a woman who knows nothing. She busts her ass to get what she has and she is angry at so many things. At how she's treated being one of the main things.

Then she's shot and everything angers her so easily. Something should be done and if busting her ass doesn't help, maybe busting some heads would?

She sees herself in Sasha, a woman pushed aside by a horrid system. She's pissed when she's treated like she's crazy for saying that the Sasha in the Archives is Not Sasha, because she knows she's right yet this man is treating her like shit for no good reason.

She's angry, sure but she has so many reasons to be angry.

She tries to kill Elias because it is the only way she can see to get out of this system. To stop others like Sasha from dying and being forgotten. Killing him makes her blood Sing.

Then she loses the closest friend she's had in this fuckass job and yet her boss who she's never liked somehow lives.

Then the bullet is cut out and her blood doesn't quite sing so much when angry.

Then she's given a way out. Sure she has to gouge out her eyes but it's a way Out. She has a support system and she has a way out and fucking hell she's going to take it because if she doesn't this will kill her. She isn't willing to die for something that makes her blood boil. She isn't going to die for men who treat her as if all she is is an angry woman.

Yes she's angry, but her anger is justified. She's out of this cycle of trauma and abuse and she is loved. Sure she's still angry, but isn't everyone?

I forgot to make a post about it but yesterday was Melanie Liburd's Birthday!!! 🥳🥳🤩🤩

I know she won't see this post but I really enjoyed her performance as Saga Anderson, dual protagonist and the key character to explore Bright Falls & Watery. Her interactions with the other characters made the world so vivid.

Her Mind Place is such a neat concept and her connection to the Anderson brothers was interesting and delightful. Honestly, wish we would've seen them interact more :') The final section of her in her MP and the self doubt creeping into her somewhat safe space was very relatable :P and Melanie did a great job fleshing out Saga's character and make her a very likeable protagonist who's also vastly different from Alan.

It's not open yet, as I'm still figuring out character designs, and more importantly, the song. It'll be an animation about Rusty from The Sounds Of Nightmares (my boy doesn't get enough attention T^T) to either Circus of the Dead or Carousel.
