So...

I've been off of Tumblr for about a year now but I have been heavily anticipating the demo for book 4 and I love it already! One thing I am quite curious about just so happens to be some of the choices you can make to set up the demo that weren't in the previous installments. Will the previous stories get an update for that extra set of choices for the nether's or is it going to be specifically for this installment?

The demo is lovely and I can't wait for part 2 of this to come out.

Also, it seems that M has gotten a lot softer since book 3, just how deep have they fallen or are they still ignoring that part?

I would really like to update the previous books with choices I've added or things I've learned to do better as I've grown! But I can't add new coding and things into previous books because of the save system transfers.

If I update a previous book with a new choice, then someone may not know or want to replay a book and it could cause a lot of errors when they're playing with a transferred character.

But at least it's all choice and things I know I will add into future games from the start! It's definitely been a major learning process since beginning this journey! :D

M isn't really softer—I mean, they are, lol!—but it's more that they're finally very comfortable. Even around Unit Bravo they still put on a front sometimes, but with the MC, they really can just be...

Be content, be comfortable, be vulnerable, and not worry at all.

It's why I chose to not have a sex scene to open M's route with. Because for M sex is sex, nice and all, but it's not the scenes where the bond is building or emotions are being shown (at least not yet...when that steamy scene hits when the emotions are involved...wow *fans self at the thought of that upcoming scene*).

A mickey mouse game "Steamboat killie" but it's accualy a parody of all those edgy way too seriously taking themselfs creepypastas, re-makes and overall extremly OOC take's of mickey

The MC Is desperatley trying to find the evidence that mickey killed soneone on his ship and just jumps to conclusions like crazy while if you were to use your head a bit you'll realize those are all normal things

There's something red in the kitchen!? It must be the scene of murder!

No it's just dryed strawberry jam that mickey didn't clean in time, If you were to Look around the kitched you'd litellary fina a half empty strawberry jam jar

There seem to be lot's of dangerous mechanic's aroud there! It's a ship, of course some of it's technical sides might be dangerous to visit

But what's that!? Theres another person on the ship!? Mickey is working with someone or is trying to get another victim!?

It's oswald, he's always been there and accualy owned the ship a bit before mickey people just don't talk about him that much because he takes care of things from technical side rather than public side, him and mickey are Brothers and just chill out there, If you were to talk to him he'd tell you that as the first thing

The whole time the MC just makes these out of proportions theories and takes them as facts, snoops around and acts slightly unhinged while oswald and mickey start to wonder on should they call the police or would that be overdoing it?

Thinking about my girl Benna again.

Her final moments tore at me; the stone-cold terror and certainty underlying the hysteria in her ramblings about Barnabas, followed by the sinking despair and yawning regret about Cid—her two most important people, who both failed her, as she in her way failed herself.

All her pride and self-deception giving way right before the end.

She knew. She knew. The instant she stopped lying to herself it was obvious she always saw Barnabas and Cid clearly. That one would discard her immediately upon her loss of value she did not doubt, that the other only ever wanted good things for her, in spite of her perception of being abandoned by him, was the final truth she admitted only upon losing everything.

Benna is the character Cid and I most wanted to save. The game never even gave us the opportunity, Benna herself didn't give us the opportunity, but I refuse to believe she is slave to her fate. She's wounded and difficult but so clever and stubborn and her spirit remains mad fierce through it all. There must be an AU where she can be saved; there must be an AU where she decides to save herself, where she consents to be saved. Because I love her, I cannot help but think this, with more foolish hope than rational belief; and that makes me wonder how many years Cid thought this too.

Maybe he, like me, could never truly fully give up on saving her—I say, enraged and possessed, to the damned word document that will make it happen.

they should make a the world ends with you-like that is more explicitly about crossdressing

like twewy itself has a ton of mechanics dedicated to crossdressing already and the general fascination with mid 2000s fashion culture is an obvious jumping off point for further exploration.

but like I think the closest they get to actually acknowledging any of those mechanics is when they have josh get dressed up in clothes from a slightly girly but mostly unisex brand as a gag. and iirc they did basically the same joke with fret in the sequel. wasted potential.

like in terms of emergent narratives in a given playthrough it's very very easy in both games to get to "this was a story about a bunch of youngsters gaining magical powers and saving the day through exploring their gender" which obviously appeals to me. but they left so much more on the table yknow. it could have been About about that instead of only kinda about that. someone who knows what a game is should get on it.

I have a massive headache, and it's late, so please enjoy the game while i get some rest? I would really really enjoy some positive feedback on the demo cause it's the first ever really "finished" project i ever did.

I wanna mention that the demo/filler is not perfect and i also want to say that none of the assets are F2U(free to use) they are AT MOST for personal use only although id rather have them be not used at all? Just ask me please?

Hey quick question do you know when the save function will be added to book 3 because I finished one of routes that I was playing on from the hosted games app and the option to name a save did not pop up?

Hosted Games require the sequel to be a good deal done before adding the save system into the previous game.

So I'll let them know when I'm 80-ish% done (I think that was the limit set, iirc) and they will hopefully add it in then.

I'll make sure to let everyone know when that happens!
