Epilogues Roxy in both timelines is a heartfelt, nuanced exploration of the intersection of transmasculinity and parenthood. Stories exploring a transmasc person's feelings towards pregnancy and chestfeeding are so fucking rare and I'm tired of watching the fandom ignore Roxy's canon trans narrative, the only transmasc rep Homestuck has, rep the authors clearly poured their heart and fucking soul into, to make him yet another transfem geek girl to project on when we already have Vriska and Jade and June.

The merch survey not having mention of June makes me hopeful the hs2 team plans to leave a version of John and make it like Roxy where one is male and one is female. Unrelatedly, it's funny how many of the people who think you're bigoted for not liking June don't like transman Roxy and choose to ignore that even though it's closer to canon than June.

That would be an interesting case if they do that for Beyond Canon, just make them separate beings and not in one character body. Now only if they do that for Meat Roxy. Maybe they will so everyone can have their cake and eat it too.

meat roxy is so funny because that whole thing is indicative of how homestuck is such a deeply transfem story that if you try picking a random character out of a hat to make transmasculine it's basically a coin flip as to whether you're overwriting a transfem narrative of some kind (and it's extra funny because the writers just so happened to roll Snake Eyes, Two Ones, critical failure, and did it to the character with perhaps the most blatant transfem coding of all time that just so happens to beautifully enhance her entire arc)
