Adele had a dream, or more accurately, she had a fantasy. In a few days, she would move out of the family nest and into a college dorm. Exciting! But Adele did not think so. She thought it was frightening. The beginning of responsibility. Of true adulthood. And she wanted none of it. She had always daydreamed about going back to childhood. Since what seemed forever, her ultimate fantasy was to wake up in diapers, go to school and find all her classmates just as well-padded as she was. They would play and dance and do arts and crafts. It would merely be a scaled-up daycare. So when she woke up in a crib, her excitement was through the roof. Around her waist, a thick white diaper. Thoroughly soaked. In her mouth, a pacifier bobbing up and down as she flailed her legs to get all the soft sensations of duvet and padding that she could. Not for a second did she question her dad picking her up, changing her and dressing her in a pair of cute overalls. Meanwhile, her mother was cooking downstairs. Breakfast, yes, but also Adele’s lunch, which was neatly packed in a bright blue lunchbox with flowers drawn on it. At that point, Adele was not surprised when she was buckled in a baby seat and driven to college. There, the parking lot was filled with proud parents dropping off their grown, but regressed, children with kisses, diaper pats and hugs.
“I’ll pick you up in a few hours, ok?” Adele’s mother told her. And Adele could not help but smile at the thought of her first day of college.

Clueless
Pairing: Benedict Bridgerton x reader
Requested by @imabee-oralizard
Summary: Benedict is clueless to your affection...
It was painful to watch Benedict be so clueless. The Bridgertons and L/Ns had been friends for as long as anyone could remember, your homes were across from one another’s, your father was a well-respected Earl. And in your childhood, you and Benedict were as thick as thieves, spending nearly every day together. Then Edmund had passed and you drifted apart, though you still made efforts to spend time with him.
Through your debut into society, Benedict had remained your closest friend. However, as time passed and the two of you matured, Benedict found his feelings for you evolving. Where he once saw a girl, he now saw a woman; a beautiful, graceful, elegant woman. Where he once saw someone to play tag with, he now saw a woman he wanted to bring flowers to, a woman he wanted to spend…oh.
Little did he know, you were in a similar situation. Benedict had once been a gangly stick of a boy, but he had grown into a devastatingly handsome man. He wasn’t the head of his household, he wasn’t titled, but that had never mattered to you. Your father had always made it clear that you could marry whoever you wished, that money or status needn’t play into it. And as time went on, you found yourself no longer thinking about Benedict as a friend, but someone you wanted to be with, someone you were slowly falling in lo–oh.
The three eldest Bridgertons stood along the side of the ballroom, watching the dance floor. Anthony watched as his wife danced with Lord Kent while Colin chatted with Miss Featherington. Benedict, meanwhile, was staring at you, his gaze positively lovesick. You were dancing with the Marquis of Winchester, who had apparently just inherited his title, and Benedict realized he would give almost anything to be in his place.
“Need we call the fire brigade, brother?” came Anthony’s voice, drawing Benedict’s focus from you. “What?” “Your gaze will certainly burn holes in the back of Lady Y/N’s head if you stare at her for much longer!” Colin burst out in laughter, and Benedict rolled his eyes. “Quite entertaining, brother, truly.” Benedict felt his face warm, and he sought out a servant rounding with drinks.
Colin politely excused himself from his conversation with Penelope, and Anthony followed suit, wordlessly agreeing to continue their teasing. “You know, ladies have dance cards for a purpose, brother,” Colin said, and Benedict barely suppressed the urge to roll his eyes. “Yes,” he responded. “They do; to keep track of the gentlemen vying for their hands for a dance.” “Precisely,” Anthony chimed in, taking a drink from a nearby table. “So, Benedict, do you think Lady Y/N still has room on her card?”
Benedict nearly spat out his drink. “What? I..whyever would you ask such a question?” Colin disguised his laughter with a cough. “Because, brother, she has been sneaking glances at you all evening!” “She has?” Anthony nodded, nodding gratefully at the gentleman who Kate had been dancing with as he returned her. “Benedict, with how much you have been looking at her, I am shocked you have not noticed!”
Even now, Benedict was subtly watching you; watching as the Marquis escorted you to the refreshments table, watching as you smiled, as you laughed. “Benedict!” “What?” “Good Lord, you are absolutely besotted!” Colin clapped him on the shoulder. “Go ask her to dance, you fool. Please, if I have to watch you pine for her for another moment, I may be ill.” Benedict shook his head, but set off across the room anyway.
“Pardon me, Lady Y/N?” You turned to face Benedict, a warm smile on your face. “Mister Bridgerton! How lovely to see you!” “Lovely to see you as well. I know it is late in the evening, but do you have room on your dance card for me?” Butterflies were running rampant in your stomach, and you held up your wrist, displaying the card. “I happen to have one spot left. A waltz.”
You left your waltz vacant at every ball you went to, hoping and praying Benedict would ask you to dance. If others asked, you could play it off as being too intimate for an unwed lady, something no one would question you on. It was truly a shot in the dark, but tonight, your aim was true. Benedict smiled, taking the pencil attached to the card and signed his name. “It would be my honor, Lady Y/N.” “Please, just Y/N.”
Benedict smiled, and moments later, the musicians played the opening chords of the waltz. You followed Benedict onto the dance floor, curtseying as he bowed. The waltz was controversial, some saying it was far too intimate, some calling it outright scandalous. But that was the farthest thing from your or Benedict’s minds as you began to dance.
His hand was on your waist, the other clasped in yours; your hand on his shoulder. There was no more than 6 inches of space between your bodies, and you felt as if your heart could bean straight out of your chest. “So tell me, Y/N,” Benedict said. “Has the season been treating you well thus far?” “Oh, I wish I could say it has. There are plenty of suitors, yes, but…” “But what, Y/N? We have no secrets, remember?”
It was a stupid pact you’d made years ago: to keep no secrets from Benedict, but it was a pact you’d stuck to….for the most part, that is. “I have had my heart set on a true love match for so long, and I have yet to feel that with any men who have called upon me.” “You will find that someday, Y/N, have faith.” Benedict was trying so desperately not to get his hopes up, but then you spoke again.
“What if I already have?” It might have been an innocuous thing to say, had you not pressed yourself ever so closer to Benedict, had you not squeezed his hand, and had you not looked so deeply into Benedict’s eyes. It was so plain: the love you held for him, the desire to be his and for him to be yours, and how long you had wanted it.
“Y/N, are you…” “I have no callers in the morning,” you said. “And I hear the weather shall be wonderful for a promenade.” Benedict’s heart skipped several beats, and when the dance ended, he made a bold move and kissed your hand. “Well then, I shall call upon you in the morning. Be warned, though, I have been told I am quite the romantic.”
You couldn’t hold the laugh that left your lips, and Benedict escorted you back to your chaperone. In the morning, you were indeed greeted by Benedict, a bouquet of 20 red roses in hand. No one in London was surprised when you were engaged a mere month and a half later, and married four months after that.

WIP excerpt from the one where Clark forgot to introduce Kon and Jon.
Kon doesn't even know how to make a connection with Jon. Every time he's tried to talk to the kid, it's been weird and stilted and awkward, never mind how the kid opens up like a flower beaming up at the sun whenever it's anybody else he's talking to. He's adorable and sweet and friendly and just so fucking nice right up until Kon says "hey", at which point it's all one-word answers and unhappy mutters and quick excuses to get out of the room.
The kid doesn't even call him "Kon". It's always, always "Conner".
Kon doesn't know why it bothers him so much. He was never a twelve year-old with a loving family and amazing parents and a near-idyllic childhood or whatever, so like . . . what would they even talk about, anyway? They have absolutely nothing in common, aside from being the only fully successful Kryptonian-human hybrids in possibly the entire fucking universe, considering Match's (fucking terrifying) degeneration the past few years. Like–that's it. That's all they've got. A genetic similarity, when Kon already knows just how damn little genetic similarities mean.
And Jon exists because Clark loves Lois, while Kon only exists because Lex hates Superman. So like . . . yeah. Those are two very different origins, aren't they.
Jon's never going to like him.
Meanwhile, Kon would literally fucking die for this kid. Like, Jon is just–he's so good. He's all bright sunlight and eager optimism and bold determination, and there is not a single damn grenade that Kon wouldn't throw himself on for him.
Admittedly, fine, Kon is grenade-proof and also would literally fucking die for a lot of people. Fully-committed willingness to die for somebody is not any kind of an outlier in his personality and never has been. Just . . . the rest of those people can at least make fucking small talk with him. Lex has more to say to him than Jon does. Clark has more to say to him than Jon does.
Kon actually can't think of anyone in his life who wants less to do with him than Jon does. There are literal supervillains in his life with more emotional investment in him. Multiple ones!
Jesus, what a thought.
He loves this kid so much. When Jon gets excited about something that he thinks is cool, Kon's chest gets tight and warm. When Jon's upset or in a bad mood, Kon can't concentrate on anything except how bad he wants to fix it for him. When Jon's in trouble or needs help or just wants something–
He knows the kid's heartbeat like it's his fucking own.
Kon digs his fingers into Tim's pillow and does his damnedest to just be normal about this. To just deal with this.
He will, he knows. He always does, doesn't he? Every time he looks at someone else and feels something that they don't feel for him, he deals. He deals with the amicable and uncrossable distance that Clark keeps between them and Kara's polite disinterest in his existence and Tim having a boyfriend and Match being an asshole and Lex being Lex and whatever else. He can deal with Jon, too.
Not like he has another choice.
When has he ever? Tana didn't want him like he wanted her. Knockout didn't care about him like he cared about her. Rex took advantage of him and Roxy was more invested in the fact that he didn't want to kiss her than in just being his friend and he hasn't heard from anyone who ran off with Cadmus since–
Kon shuts down his brain. It's not helping right now. Which, well–when does it ever, really?
He wonders if maybe he shouldn't have come back. Maybe he should've just stayed gone. Stayed forgotten. Stayed . . . away.
Stayed out of the way.
He wonders if maybe he should leave on purpose.

CBS Ghosts Hotel Au
Here’s a synopsis of an au I’ve had for Ghosts for quite a while:
Samantha Woodstone, determined to get her bed and breakfast on the map, agrees to host a big event which the hosts will play handsomely. Problem? She has two weeks to prepare and needs a new head chief. She soon meets the perfect candidate, Jay Arondekar, an excellent chief however how long will it take before her boss and employee relationship take a turn?
Meanwhile, checking into the bed and breakfast is newly divorced dad Pete Martino and his daughter Laura, wanting to spend time with her before she moved off for college. His daughter, however worried that her dad may never find love again after her mom. Fortunately, the odds turn into her favor as her father pines over entertainer/singer, Alberta Hayes. A woman with a determination to get out of a contract with her manger/cheating bootlegger boyfriend and away from her creepy stalker.
Elsewhere, Issac Higgintoot tries to become co-manger at the hotel, however Nigel Chessum, an old British rival from his years in law school. As their friendly rivalry continues as they fight for the job, Isaac makes a discovery about himself he wasn’t prepared for. The question reminds, will Nigel feel the same?
Native American, Sasappis, is determined to get the spotlight as head performer at the BNB. To get an okay from Sam, he must perform a groundbreaking story, requiring him to find a muse. As the week progresses, he reunites with an old childhood friend and crush of his, Shiki, he believes he finds his muse. Unfortunately, he meets Jessica, one of the two new interns. He soon finds himself in one of his favorite tropes of all, the love triangle.
Looking to reconnect with his son, Thor agrees to a job as security guard at the BNB. As he sees his son again and his grandchildren, Thor struggles to overcome his prejudice beliefs to be a part of his son’s life again. Fortunately for him, he meets former cult member and hippie, Susan ‘Flower’ Montero. As he spends more time with her, determined to let go of his hot-headed behavior, he soon realizes his feelings for her go far beyond platonical.
Finally, the host of the event Elias and Hetty Wood along with their son Thomas, stay at the hotel for Elias and Hetty to renew their vows. Hetty just can’t wait for this to be over, tired of her stale marriage. However, she meets young, finance bro, Trevor Leftkowitz. The young man, desperate to get teenage girl, Stephine to stop hitting on him, he and Hetty set up a strangers with benefits situation. As time past though and the ceremony comes up, Hetty wonders if staying married to Elias is truly worth it.
Unbeknownst to the majority, an evil scheme created by Elias lurks around. A plan made to steal ownership of the BNB and ruin Sam’s life.
Through friendship, change, and love, these strangers’ lives all intertwined in the span of just two weeks. The only question left is, will love triumph or will they be left miserable?
I may or may not write a fic of this. I don’t know yet.

Childhood Crush
Sanemi Shinazugawa x Kyojuro's little sister! Reader
(Y/n) quietly wandered around the wisteria filled area, the 9-year-old had been living with her older brother Kyojuro ever since he moved out of the family home. Being a girl had earned her father's distain, he had commented about it enough around her during visits that it didn't exactly go over her head. When Kyojuro had gotten his own home, their father had all but thrown her to her big brother, thankfully Kyojuro adored her and had made sure she never felt unloved. Today had been one of Kyojuro's few days off after returning from a long job, Ubuyashiki-sama had been willing to let the little girl stay with them while Kyojuro was gone and while she loved her time playing with the other kids, she did miss her brother. That's why that day they had decided to spend their time in the town, shopping and trying out some of the small restaurants and food stalls they had yet to go to.
Unfortunately, the Hashira's crow had found them, informing Kyojuro of a small meeting that would be held at the nearby headquarters. Since they were already out Kyojuro decided to bring the young (H/c) head with him, that way they could just continue their day after. Once arriving he decided to leave (Y/n) outside to play in the wisteria, reminding her the meeting would be held around back and if she absolutely needed him to call for him or come get him. That lead to now, she had wondered into the wisteria forest. She could still see the top floor of the building; the young girl was heading towards the pathway that separates the wisteria field location from the regular forest to try and find some of the colorful flowers they passed on the way. It didn't take long for the dirt path to come into view, though an odd voice breaking the silence made her stop in her advancement towards the trail.
Bright (E/c) eyes gazed around the beautiful location until they landed on a man clearly out of place, he was older and quite dirty in appearance. "What's a pretty thing like you doing way out here?" He slowly stalked closer to the young girl, though his voice was kind enough something about him made her uncomfortable. She glanced back at the large building in the distance, trying to calmly back away and wandering if she'd be able to make it Kyojuro if she called for him.
Meanwhile Kyojuro stood among the other Hashira, so far, the meeting hadn't been anything to dreadfully important. Mostly just the Hashira meeting to exchange information they've gathered and discuss their recent jobs, though soon all eyes fell on an 8-year-old with white hair who came running out. Nichika had gone outside to see if (Y/n) wanted to play after hearing she was there, but when going out front she didn't see her anywhere. "(Y/n)'s gone, I can't find her!" These words made everything stop for Kyojuro, everyone else had been left confused. No one knew of his baby sister, something he would fix after this. "Kyojuro, we need to find your little sister. Just because it is daytime doesn't mean there aren't monster about." It was Ubuyashiki-sama's voice that cut through the confusion, gathering the fire Hashira's attention and reminding him he couldn't panic.
"Guys I'll explain later, but right now I need your help. The forest in this area can be dense and she's still a little girl." This was all he needed to say, the Hashira were quick to scatter. All moved to the front and broke off into different directions, Sanemi had chosen to head straight out from the building. His movements were quick, and he was careful to keep his eyes open, though it was the loud rustling of pounding feet that caught his attention. He looked around confused before feeling something slam into his stomach, he placed one foot back to anchor himself and when he looked down, he saw a little girl at his feet. She was panting and had wisteria flowers all over her, since there was only one missing kid, he knew of in the immediate area he knew she had to be little (Y/n). Though soon another set of footsteps could be heard, looking up he saw a grown man come lumbering through the brush. Clearly having struggled to make it through the dense undergrowth.
Sanemi was quick to pull the girl to her feet and push her behind him, he could tell the man was looking for the kid as he looked around before spotting the two. The small male immediately fixed his posture and put on a sickly-sweet smile; it made the wind Hashira's stomach turn at how obviously fake it was. "I'm sorry sir, it seems my daughter ran off after a scolding. Would you mind returning her?" That one statement had more red flags than the entertainment district, and because the male wasn't completely color blind, he raised a very judgy eyebrow. "You know... If you're gonna lie about something, you should really try harder to not be so obvious about it." Those words made the male across from him pale when combined with Sanemi's reaching for his blade, though when the mystery man backed up, he found himself he had hit a wall. Or rather a quite large Gyomei, it was in that moment the other Hashira had made themselves known and dropped from the trees around Sanemi.
The little girl had clung to the scarred male's leg, not really recognizing anyone at first, at least until she heard her brother's voice combined with his footsteps. At the sight of overwhelming numbers, the man was quick to turn east and flee, an angry Sanemi throwing swears and curses at the male just as Kyojuro reached the group. Once in sight the 9-year-old was quick to cling to her big brother, tiny body shaking as he scooped her up. "From now on your coming into the meeting with me, I'm not leaving you alone again." His words were spoken in a softer voice than usual, making the girl nod and mutter out her apologies for wandering off. "You better not fucking lose her again, next time you're buying me lunch." The male huffed and crossed his arms, watching Kyojuro set the girl down before giving Sanemi a bow. "It won't happen again, thank you for finding her Shinazugawa-san." The little girl had run over and gave the blonde's legs a hug, looking up at him with her big innocent eyes. "Thank you for protecting me..."
Sanemi sighed, giving her an awkward pat on the head. "No problem, just don't make a habit out of stirring up trouble I ain't saving ya again brat." His words had made the young girl giggle, a soft blush covering her cheeks as she looked at the taller man. This made him quirk an eyebrow, poking her in the forehead. "What now? What are you laughing at." (Y/n) had let go of him and backed up, rubbing her forehead as her blush deepened. "Nothing!" She ran back over to her brother, hugging his leg and hiding her little face. Question marks could be seen floating around Sanemi as some of the others chuckled, members like Shinobu and Tengen already knowing this incident could lead to the little girl developing her first crush. After all, in her eyes he was a hero as of now. "Come on, let's head back to the headquarters and wrap up the meeting." Kyojuro's cheerful voice caught everyone's attention, the fiery male scooping up his little sister and heading towards the building with the group. Kyojuro would probably carry her back to town and even still he'd be sticking close to her after that.
Kyojuro smiled as he led his little sister back to her room after dinner, planning to help her brush out her hair and get ready for bed as usual. After the meeting had ended, they had gone on with their day, doing a bit of shopping and goofing off. Kyojuro would be lying to say he didn't spoil her a little after what she went through earlier, he knew she wouldn't be wandering off anytime soon after that though. "So, what did you think about meeting the Hashira?" He smiled as she sat in front of a mirror, the older male grabbing her comb and beginning to brush her hair out. "They were really nice; it was really fun watching Sanemi get so mad!" Her lighthearted giggles filled the room at the memory, making the male's smile widen. "Yeah, he's always been a little firecracker!"
His laughter mixed with hers, to his surprise she had enjoyed the meeting and Ubuyashiki-sama had enjoyed answering her occasional questions. They had hung around a bit after so she could get familiar with everyone, occasionally going to pester Sanemi with questions. Though he'd call her a brat and act rather grumpy he didn't seem to mind her otherwise, or at the least he showed her more tolerance than most would expect. Kyojuro knew he wouldn't be able to resist the cinnamon roll that was his baby sister, the little girl was just too nice. "Who was your favorite out of everyone?" He asked this already knowing her answer, while she enjoyed Mitsuri and Gyomei (who was more than willing to gently toss the girl in the air and catch her a few times, leading to a series of happy squeals and joyous laughs) she still found a way to make it back to the blonde male. "Sanemi! He's really interesting and his reactions are really funny!" The girl's cheeks had begun to go pink once more as her brother finished brushing her hair. "I see, well Sanemi is definitely a character. Pretty strong too, he's got a knack for fighting." The male was careful when tucking her into her futon, watching the girl yawn with a smile before kissing her forehead. "Sleep well, I'll be in my room next door. I have some letters to read so come get me if you need me." He left one small candle burning in the corner, he didn't want to plunge her into darkness, and it helped her sleep better. "Alright, goodnight Kyo..." The young girl had curled up and was asleep before her brother had even shut the door. Once back at his desk he chuckled a bit as he reflected on the day, he wasn't blind, and Shinobi had made passing comments on how cute it would be if his baby sister had a crush on the wind Hashira. He couldn't help but bristle at the idea of his baby sister already getting a crush, he knew she'd likely grow out of it but still even he knew how much of a bad boy Sanemi was. And if that ended up being her type when she grew up, he'd be kicking himself later for all the trouble her cute self is gonna cause for him and the other Hashira.

Remember to leave kudos and a comment on the fics you enjoyed to show your appreciation! You can find the library's other recs here.
⭐ We Were Such Fools by kiddle / @bluejeanlouis (M, 98k)
Rule #1: The Rewind Machine cannot be used to change the past, only to experience it. History will reset itself to the original timeline every 24 hours.
On his fiftieth birthday, two things are consuming Harry’s mind: what he’s going to make the kids for dinner tonight, and the fact that his marriage is crumbling at his feet.
So, when his best friend gifts him the trip of a lifetime, Harry chooses to venture off to the summer that set his life on its course—all the way back in 1987, California.
It only took him one summer to fall in love with his husband the first time around. How hard could starting all over really be?
⭐ modern love by prettyoddnjh (T, 72k)
It's August 9th, 1985. "Shout" by Tears for Fears is the top song on the Billboard charts, Back to the Future has been the #1 film in the country for five weeks straight, and Harry has just moved to what he thinks is probably the shittiest town in the Midwest.
Louis has been wasting away in East Chicago for over five years, Harry is the most exciting thing that's ever happened to him, and both of them are hiding a dangerous secret from their best friend: they're, like, totally sprung on each other.
⭐ The World Turned Upside Down by dogslpdi / @dogsliampaynedoesntinstagram (E, 71k)
In September 1984, Harry Styles starts at Manchester Polytechnic with two goals: to take pictures and to join the Lesbian and Gay Society. He’s never paid much attention to the news, but everyone he meets in Manchester supports the miners. He realises how right they are when he meets Louis Tomlinson, a striking miner who flirts with him. A month later they are both at the founding meeting of Manchester Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners, trying to bring down the government. Through letters and visits they build a relationship, in a world very much not of their own choosing.
Manchester and Doncaster in the 1980s are grim, hopeful and alive. Niall is president of the Young Labour club, Nick Grimshaw is in love with the singer of an up and coming band, Fizzy wants to know more about the women of Greenham Common and Harry and Louis are brave.
A Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners/Pride AU.
⭐ Among Lavender Fields by @homosociallyyours (E, 70k)
At twenty-one, Louis Tomlinson is more than ready to shed the girl next door image that's been with her since her entry into film in her childhood, but with a mother and father steeped in Hollywood tradition it's felt impossible. Meanwhile, Harry Styles is a young, struggling musician new to London, friendless yet eager for the next phase of her life to begin.
When French director Marie Coutard casts the two of them in her film, it's a chance for both to break away from the people they've been. Together, they struggle through an acting process that's new and unfamiliar for both of them, learning more than they could've imagined about themselves along the way. As they spend long days picking lavender and long nights sharing the things they've never been able to tell anyone else, their love blooms.
Will the flower fade, or will the love they make among lavender fields be one they carry with them to the end?
⭐ HL 80s nyc verse (series) by superglass (M, 51k)
He expects his usual warm welcome from Sue, always drying off a glass or cleaning the taps with a dirty rag. Instead, to his shock, a man is behind the bar, pouring a Whiskey Sour for a regular Harry always sees at this time of night. He’s no doubt his age; he can tell by the smoothness of his skin, the muscles in his biceps, the way his hair is swept back in a style not unlike a young James Dean, exemplifying the cut of his cheekbones and the sharpness at his jaw.
As he approaches the bar, quietly since he’s not wearing his shoes, he blurts it out— “Where’s Sue? Is she alright? She’s not dead, is she?”
The barkeep, wide-eyed at first but quickly growing amused, smiles at him, eyeing his dress, tousled wet hair and smudged makeup with a curl in his lip. “Darling,” he says, completely ignoring his question, “a leather jacket with a dress like that? Are you mad?”
or In the midst of the AIDS crisis, Harry meets Louis after coming home from a drag ball. 80s NYC au.
⭐ what this world is about by isntrio / @bloubird (E, 34k)
An eighties American high school AU; there are first times, football games, and feelings.
Alternatively titled: the beginning.
⭐ What Happened to 'Never Say Die'? by kiddle / @bluejeanlouis (T, 28k)
The ‘80s were one of the best decades to be a teenager in America. Just ask anyone who's seen a John Hughes movie. Louis would beg to differ. At least today he would, while he was stuck cleaning out his family's basement - part of his grounding after a senior prank gone wrong. But when he finds a box containing details of the biggest unsolved crime in Luna Hills, he and his friends decide to sneak out for one last adventure before they're all off to college. That is, as long as the mayor, who also happens to be Louis' mother, doesn't stop them before they discover the truth.
Or, a coming of age American AU inspired by classic ‘80s movies like The Goonies and Stand By Me where everyone has a secret and no one wants to get caught.
⭐ Never Meant to Be So Bad to You by harriblou (M, 27k)
Louis hated Harry and his stupid confidence and his handsome face and his deep voice and his stupid jeans and his stupid smile and his stupid existence. He hated Harry, always had and always will. Princessa ( a Luisa drabble)
“OOH that slit goes high!” Isabella declared in a mock scandalized tone. As Dolores squeaked and blushed, flashing her leg out from one of Elena’s lounge dresses a few inches too short on the bottom. Enjoying the tinkling sound of crystal beads colliding only audible to her. As the excited sounds of Mirabel’s voice echoed from the closet into the cave-like antechamber of Bruno and Elena’s bedroom.
Elena giggled from her place on the loveseat next to Luisa, as Mirabel brought a handful of dresses to lay on the bed. The trio cooed over the glamorous styles. Deciding which dress would fit whom, and who was going to go next. Of course, these styles are not ones any of the girls would ever wear in the Encanto. But a throwaway statement of the girls being welcome to borrow any dress had a very pregnant Elena nearly dragged to Bruno’s tower to play dress-up. Meanwhile, the seer decided to make himself scarce to ask Antonio how to mediate a serious conflict among the rats.
Luisa and Elena watched the happy proceedings as Mirabel disappeared behind the screen to try on a velvet green dress with faux pearls hanging on the shoulder. The dress she wore the first night Bruno saw her, and her life changed. Instinctively she brought her hand to her swollen belly, happy as can be. She would be unlikely to fit those dresses again, but it was more than a fair trade.
“Whoo!”, Elena exclaimed as she felt a kick. Luisa flinching at her side, immediately reacting with protective concern. Hands at the ready to help where no help could be given.
“It’s alright, I think their ears were burning. I was thinking about them.”
Then another kick gave her a start, and Luisa reflexively checked on Elena again. “Should I get Mom?”
“I’m fine Lu. I think the armistice is over. The twins are taking turns trading fire as wombmates”. The pun perhaps not hitting, as Luisa’s brown eyes didn’t drop a smidgen of concern after the joke.
“I’m really ok, I promise.”
“Sorry, I know it is normal it's just… you’re just so small”. Luisa trailed off almost apologetically, she had been reacting strongly to every kick all morning. Elena put a reassuring hand on her arm, as she leaned back to take pressure off her spine.
“No smaller than Alma was I have been told, and she had three. Besides we know for a fact everything will be ok”. Elena said gently waving to the glowing green tablet of her future family framed above the bed. A rectangle piece of emerald glass save for a small corner cut out to make their wedding rings. A promise for a future that was almost here.
Satisfied Luisa smiled, and they both looked back at the three girls. Mirabel was trying her signature dancing twirl, but the too-tight dress was not willing to accommodate. A clever seamstress, Mirabel on her own embroidered skirt dropped the waist to capture maximum twirl. Obviously glitz and glitter had downsides.
“I’m sorry I’m too short for you to wear my dresses,” Elena offered as she thought about the contents of her closet, and if anything could be used to help her share in this moment. But her mind was drawing a blank.
“It’s alright, I like my practical clothes.” Luisa countered, but Elena didn’t quite believe it.
Luisa’s room at the beginning portion functioned like a gym. A room full of weights and dumbbells that would make Hugo jealous. The balcony like entry, opening up to a beautiful vista of rocky mountains as strong and imposing as her exterior. But like Luisa, her true nature was hidden deeper. A childlike sweetness of a woman denied a proper childhood. Her bedroom full of soft fuzzy rugs, flower linens, family photos and drawings collected on the walls, sheer curtains hanging over her bed, and a pile of stuffed animals she was gifted over the years. Of all his daughters, and despite all appearances, Luisa was Agustin’s little princess.
‘Oh that’s it!’ Elena thought with excitement as she swung her legs up, using the momentum to vault her and her rotund belly forward out of the chair. The sudden motion caught Luisa at such a surprise, she didn’t have a chance to help the petite songbird stand before she was waddling like a petite penguin to her cavernous closet.
“Now it’s not ‘practical’ mind you,” Elena called loudly from the magical closet that was bigger on the inside. Before emerging with a green velvet box. “But I have something perfect for you.”
“When I was young I used to do birthday parties during the day, and lounge at night.” Elena said with a sheepish smile, As she opened the lid. "The dresses are gone, but I couldn’t get rid of this.” With a flourish, she revealed a shimmering costume princess crown. Delighted to see Luisa’s eyes widen at the treasure. “I am a little bit of a pack rat.” Elena said as she gently fixed the crown onto Luisa’s head, pulling her braid to cover the sides. “But perhaps that is why your uncle loves me?”, she joked.
“So beautiful,” Elena said stepping back to admire her lovely sobrina. “It’s yours if you want it.”
The quickness a teary-eyed Luisa stood to tower over Elena to envelope her in one of her signature bear hugs, did give Elena pause as to whether she would pop under that affection. But ever conscious of her strength, Luisa adjusted quickly and gently enfolded her tia in thanks. Before excitedly going to admire herself in the long mirror, the trio of girls chorusing “oohs and awws” as Luisa joined them.
With very little grace, Elena gingerly sat down to watch the proceedings. A tiny oof as she settled into place with a pillow shoved behind her spine.
“I wonder, do I have a little princess of my own?” Elena asked quietly, but a smiling glance from Dolores told her it was still heard.
A tiny kick came in response and Elena leaned back happily.

Soapghost Tangled Au
LOOK. I'm certain I'm not the first person to think about this but I Don't Care. This blog is basically just me saying shit about cod to the void anyway and talking like a bunch of people will see it lmao. THIS IS GONNA BE LONG AS FUCK BTW.
Also this shit is gonna feature some good old fashioned nikprice and alerudy and my several headcanons, a few of which I will share for context: First of all, almost everyone is trans in my mind, I won't lie to you. But mostly that's not relevant to the plot besides Soap and Nik are both trans men. Also Ghost is transfem and that's not super relevant but I will be using mostly she/her for her (I hc her using she/her and he/him pronouns) so be prepared. OKAY GOOD This is just gonna be me rambling my ideas in a bulleted list hopefully in the order of the plot.
The story sticks fairly close to the actual movie plot, once upon a time there was a magic flower yadda yadda. Anyway Old Man Shepherd wants to be eternally young yeah
Meanwhile the kings (Price and Nik) are like "let's have another kid", I say another bc Gaz is here also he's adopted <3, and seahorse dad Nik is real, okay great (DO NOT TURN THIS INTO OMEGAVERSE SHIT. HE'S TRANS. A TRANS PARENT.)
Anyway uh oh Nik gets sick (haha rhyme) and Price is like "go get that flower so my husband doesn't DIE thanks), Shepherd is pissed, steals their baby with magic hair
That baby with magic hair is Soap! Who is raised by Shepherd, everyone's favorite (least favorite) manipulative piece of shit!
Some background info on Soap's childhood, it wasn't great being locked in a tower and also. Soap is trans in this (as I've said), he's just gnc, but the long hair. Eehh. Not something he super loves but Shepherd won't let him cut it, obviously. The mohawk was a compromise (yes I know the hair lore but I want him to have a mohawk so shh)
Anyway Soap's 20-something birthday rolls around and he tries to ask Shepherd to go see the glowing lights, Shepherd says no, they argue, Soap asks for paint instead, Shepherd leaves to go get it
Meanwhile Ghost and Graves are robbing the fucking castle and steal the lost prince's crown, Ghost leaves Graves to get caught by the royal guard and then gets chased by a horse named Riley for a while before ditching him and climbing into an abandoned tower, and gets hit with a frying pan
Again, the story continues fairly the same. John makes a deal with this stranger in a skull mask to take him to see the floating lights, the lanterns apparently, and he'll give her her satchel back, Ghost begrudgingly agrees.
Ghost then takes Soap to get some food to convince him to go home and call off the deal, and she takes him to Los Vaqueros Saloon, run by two outlaw husbands and frequented by loads of criminals and bounty hunters
In case it wasn't obvious, Alejandro and Rudy own the saloon. Its patrons are made up of various different operators + Valeria (who IS an operator now but still).
Poor Soap is terrified bc Shepherd told him all people, esp ones like these, are bad news and then a bunch of guys lunge on Ghost to get her bounty and send someone out to go find some guards. Soap stops them, I've Got A Dream happens. Alejandro wants to be a pianist, good for him :)
Meanwhile Shepherd returns, sees Soap is gone, and rolls up right as Soap is saying how glad he is he left and gets pissed
Then the royal guard show up and Rudy and Alejandro help them escape and then call Ghost's dream stupid.
"Go follow your dream, hermano." "I will." "He was talking to him, your dream is stupid."
They get cornered by Graves, the royal guard, and Riley, escape and then get trapped in a cave and nearly drown. Ghost cuts her hand trying to pry away some rocks but it's too dark underwater for her to see. They both think they're gonna die so Ghost tells Soap her real name.
"my real name is Simon Riley. Somebody might as well know." "I have magic hair that glows when I sing." "....what?" "OH MY GOD- I HAVE MAGIC HAIR THAT GLOWS WHEN I SING!!!"
John's good old magic hair saves the day, they escape, they find a clearing to camp out in for the night and Soap uses his hair to heal the cut on Simon's hand, Simon freaks out a little bit it's fine, she's fine
John then asks why Simon changed her name to Ghost, Simon says it's a boring story but John listens anyway. She talks about her father and her brother taunting her with ghosts and skeletons, and when they died it stuck with her. She decided to become a ghost.
Simon asks about John's hair, he tells her that his "father" keeps him in that tower to protect him from people who want to steal his hair, shows her the tiny little brown strand that never grew back and says people want to use him for his hair's healing abilities, it's how he got the big scar on his chin.
Simon leaves to get firewood, and Shepherd emerges from the fucking shadows like a creature and tells Soap to come home with him, to which Soap says no because he Likes Simon, and she's gonna take him to see the lanterns, and she's nice!! Shepherd gets mad, tosses him the satchel and says to give it to Simon and see what she does, that he'll be sorry when she runs away with it, and then leaves
Simon comes back and Soap lies and says everything is fine. Shepherd runs into Graves who wants to kill Simon and makes a deal with him
Then morning rolls around and Simon is awoken by RILEY THE FUCKING HORSE, Soap convinces Riley to be nice and let Simon go for one day because "it's my birthday :)" and she's supposed to take him to see the lanterns
They make their way into town and Simon immediately is like "okay yeah your hair is too long" because people keep stepping on it and gets some kids to braid it. John looks very handsome, Simon is very queer, they run off and have a good time enjoying the town square and all the festivities
At some point Soap notices a mural of the royal family, with a certain golden haired baby that looks very familiar, but quickly brushes it off to dance with the townsfolk and Simon
Then it's time to see the lights! Yay! Simon gets a boat for him and John, tosses Riley a bag of apples that he Definitely Paid For, Okay...Or Mostly Paid For.
I See the Light happens, John gives Simon the satchel and Simon pushes it aside in favor of taking off her mask, just for John.
"but I'm not scared anymore, ye know?" "I think I'm starting to."
AND THEN HE TAKES THE MASK OFF AND. sometimes, I am a genius. Anyway, they get back to shore and Simon sees Graves and is like "I promise I'll be right back" and goes off to just give him the satchel, he doesn't want it anymore he just wants to be done with all this criminal shit, mainly for Johnny.
Graves instead is like "what if I took that magic hair guy instead" and knocks his ass out and ties her to a boat then goes to snatch Soap. Shepherd shows up AGAIN and knocks Graves out like "oh look son I saved you!" And Soap sees the boat with Simon on it, thinks she left him, and goes back with Shepherd
Simon wakes up TIED TO A BOAT WITH THE FUCKING CROWN HE STOLE AND GETS ARRESTED
Graves also gets arrested and Simon freaks out on him when passing him being led to his cell, Graves says that some weird guy showed up and took Soap back home and Simon is locked in her cell
Meanwhile back at the tower, Soap is laying in his bed all sad bc his gf left him, when he realizes the sun crest on the little flag Simon got him at the festival matches suns he's been subconsciously painting for YEARS, that when he tried on that crown Simon stole it fit, that that baby on that mural WAS HIM, that BRO HE IS THE LOST PRINCE.
Then he yells at Shepherd for stealing him away and Shepherd is like "okay fuck you" and plans to lock him up forever
Meanwhile, Simon gets broken out of prison by two cowboys and their gaggle of thieves and bounty hunters and a horse named Riley. Riley takes him to the tower where he climbs up and gets stabbed by Shepherd after seeing Soap LITERALLY CHAINED TO A WALL.
John begs Shepherd to let him heal her, that he'll go with him quietly and never complain if he does and Shepherd agrees and chains Simon up too so he can't follow them. Soap goes to heal her and Simon slices off a bunch of his hair. Shepherd rapidly ages and falls out of the window and dies, L moment. Simon dies too tho, sad.
For real though, "You were my new dream" "And you were mine" fucks me up every time. Anyway, Simon dies, Soap's magic tears of love or something brings her back to life.
"Did I ever mention...I like brunettes" "PFF- YER AN ARSEHOLE!" "Sorry Johnny, there can only be one blonde person in this relationship!"
Anyway happily ever after and all that, Soap gets to reunite w his long lost fathers and brother.
Look idk how they recognize him okay. Father's intuition? Blue eyes? The big fat scar on his chin that wasn't ACTUALLY from someone stealing Soap (he was a stupid baby)? Idk could be any or all of those.
THE END!!!!!! Thank you to those who sat here and read ALL of this <3 big preesh! Okay idk how to end this so bye

ohhhhh would you mind sharing your akechi post-canon ideas and aus? 👀👀
Ahahaha oh god THANK YOU FOR ASKING
so with @nardaviel, I have this whole ... thing, where Akechi comes back from the third semester and finds himself alive, using the deleted kakekomidera scene, where the two people who remember him from childhood talk about him at the refuge. He heads back to Tokyo and turns himself in to get Ren out of detention, pretty much as on 12/24 though Ren doesn't know he's there, and then he spends a month in jail being interrogated and staring at the walls and quietly going mad.
At this point he gets swept up by Mitsuru, possibly through Sae (who knows about the shadow operatives), and offered a place with her. He takes great pleasure in telling her to shove it up her ass, and unfortunately at this point there's a whole "or we could ask Amamiya-kun" thing, and tl;dr a highly resentful Akechi ends up working for Mitsuru—probably in a very grey and joyless capacity for a while, because you'd have to be out of your mind to trust him with anything. The clip on 3/20 at the train station is him being transferred from police custody to, essentially, Mitsuru's custody. He's traded what was at least independence of a kind in prison for putting himself into the hands of another rich, powerful asshole who wants to use him, for the sake of the one person he cares about, and the irony alone is almost enough to make him throw himself in front of that train Ren's sitting in.
Meanwhile, Ren thinks Akechi is dead, and is having his whole thing, off in the ass end of nowhere by himself.... and two years pass, during which he returns to Tokyo to study. And that's when Ren Finds Akechi Again, in the street, and punches him in the face, because why the hell not. And then, after some fallout and Ren nearly getting arrested again, they slowly have a chance to find what they might have been.
It also includes Futaba having both of their phones bugged and intruding on every text conversation they ever have, Akechi having an ankle tag for years and some sophisticated electronic locks on his doors, some extremely nice grounds with flowering trees and streams and little bridges and shit, Haru somehow being the one to find Akechi first and keeping it to herself, the most nervous bookseller in Jimbocho, Ren taking over management of Leblanc, a ton of "I'm 20 and I've done everything I'll ever do", Prisoner Angst, I'm Not Dead Angst, Akechi's seething hatred of Mitsuru and his certainty that she is a Maruki-in-waiting or at least the centre of another grand conspiracy, a lot of takeout, some very well-compensated gate guards, and a stillborn plan for Ren and Goro to skip the country entirely and hide out in Argentina or somewhere.
And, here and there, on occasion, they get over themselves enough to make out.
Since you were kind enough to ask, here's a relevant fic snippet from my collection, below the cut.
. . .
The next Sunday, Akechi heads to Jimbocho, to go through the second-hand shops. It’s fine. Weird little antique shops selling fripperies from the 50s and 60s; curio shops full of absolutely tacky trash, one with its window displaying nothing but ceramic bears; and the bookshops, of course, the reason Akechi is really here. Though he toys with buying one of the ugly ceramic bears, just to smash it.
There’s also an otaku shop, full of tiny Western figures that you’re supposed to paint, the sort of thing Akechi thinks he’d be good at, if he gave a fuck. But he doesn’t go in; the shop is full of awkward-looking students his own age, stereotypical otakus. Even besides that, Akechi dislikes students; they remind him that he’s not in university himself. Like he’d expected to be. Or to live long enough.
So he gravitates back to the bookshops, leafing slowly through old texts with their subdued covers, or hardbacks with gilt; there are even some Meiji-era wasobon, in a glass cabinet, with their glued-paper spines and their titles on glued labels. He stares at those for quite a while, head tilted, wondering what they’d feel like in his hand. When he turns away, he feels much smaller, like when he was ten and he’d ride the bus here rather than go home.
It takes him quite a while to settle on only one purchase; he goes from shop to shop, keeping lists in his head, ticking off options here, discarding them there. He doesn’t realise he isn’t scowling, and he doesn’t think of it as a nice afternoon. But he also doesn’t think about the absolute fuckfest last week in Inaba, or how off-balance he’d felt when he stepped back into the cognitive world again for the first time, only to feel his ankle tag shift away along with the rest of his clothes.
If anything, he feels unsettled. Like nothing bad’s happening, and so that must be bad. He heads absently out of the last bookshop, with his lone purchase taped into a washi paper bag, thinking he’ll try one of the espresso shops that also litter the area, because coffee and books are so inescapably combined—
—when a hand like a steel claw closes on his wrist.
Akechi drops the book, spins all at once, still fast with a killer’s reflexes. He finds himself staring into a taut face, furious beneath its tangle of black hair, eyes sharp and accusing, crystals of black graphite shining in the sun. Amamiya Ren is staring at him, touching him, for fuck’s sake, and all at once Akechi feels like his guts have turned to leaking, toxic mercury.
“Akechi?” Ren is saying, in a barely-there voice.
“That’s my name,” Akechi says, considering the likelihood that he’ll have to break Ren’s arm to make him let go. “Let g—”
He doesn’t see Ren’s fist. It flies into his right cheek, totally untelegraphed, and he hits the street with a grunt. Fucking Joker, every time, ugh, he should have seen that—
“Ow,” he mutters. Passersby are clucking to each other, so disruptive of them; he hears worried footsteps at the door of the shop he just left. But mainly he hears Ren, bending over him to talk in a relentless undertone. “I thought you were dead,” he’s saying, all the worse for the lack of deliberate malice. “After everything, Akechi. You let me think you were dead again.”
Akechi lets his head drop back onto the kerb, because fuck getting up, he’ll just lie here in the gutter. “You sound so surprised.”
“You—” Ren jerks forward, looks like he thinks about throwing a kick. So it’s fortunate this is the moment the police arrive, a fat one and a tall one; honestly, Akechi thinks they breed them that way, in pairs. He feels a stab of vindictive satisfaction as the fat one grabs Ren by the wrists, until the colour drains from Ren’s face like someone’s pulled off one of his feet.
Akechi closes his eyes. “Wait,” he says, getting up with a wince and producing his police ID, haha, because he’s a shadow operative even if he’s the worst they have and a liability; he almost works with the police more than he works at the Kirijo compound, by now. The two beat cops go a bit bug-eyed, the idiots. “I’ll handle this,” Akechi says. “He’s just a little upset. Won’t happen again, will it?” He smiles at Ren, with a flash of sharp teeth, with the bruise rising on his cheekbone: play along.
Ren’s eyes burn, and for a moment it looks like he’ll say something graphic in fluent gutter trash, rather than obey; Akechi relates with his whole being. But then Ren looks down, sullen, and shakes his head: no. Akechi beams for the cops.
“You see,” he says. “Sorry to have troubled you both. He’s very emotional, it’s not really his fault. Thank you for your work….” And they float away, charmed by a few utterly rote words from a stranger with a confidential department ID. And then….
And then that just leaves Ren. Who is staring at Akechi in bitter silence, and obviously, beneath his flat expression, raging.
Someone appears at Akechi’s elbow. It’s the proprietor of the bookshop. “Your book,” he says nervously, handing Akechi the paper bag he dropped.
“Oh. Yes. Thank you,” Akechi says, taking it. The package is a little dented at one corner, but otherwise fine. “I’m sorry for the inconvenience.” He bows, and the shopkeeper bows and hurries away, and Akechi could just die, again, it’s all such a fucking—
Except that Ren is still there, staring at him with Joker’s eyes; with all that fury and force and—and something else, something brighter and deeper and so much worse. “Where are your glasses?” Akechi finds himself asking, switching his thicker, cheerful mask for his much more comfortable flat one.
“I don’t need them for you,” Ren says.
Fuck. “Well,” Akechi says, “I’m not dead. As we’ve established. And you’re not arrested. So I suggest we both go our—”
Ren steps forward, interrupting him. “I can’t believe you’re still doing the same old shit,” he says. “They let you work for the police? Are you going to be on TV again, next week?”
That’s too much; far too much from Ren, who has no idea of what he escaped, no idea Akechi paid his debt this way. His voice turns brittle. “Interesting that you assume I had a choice, Amamiya.” Ren flinches, peeping out through his own mask. Akechi lifts the book.
“I hope you haven’t damaged this.”
He wants to close his eyes. Instead, he turns away and starts walking, in silence. Ren ought to fuck off, but he’ll certainly follow; he’s just wired that way. The Jimbocho street feels soft and shaky, like Mementos did, except now Akechi’s too used to solid ground and it feels like his ankles will twist from under him at every moment.
Ren tags at his heels like a dog. “I’m not going anywhere, Akechi. You’ll have to kill me.”
Akechi pauses, almost glances back. “I can just arrest you.” Technically; somehow he’s never been put in a position where the right move would be an arrest.
“Yeah,” Ren is saying. “You just proved you won’t do that.”
Akechi presses a knuckle between his eyes, as he screws them shut. “What do you want? How did you even find me?”
“You don’t think I read?” Ren says, defensively, not looking around at the three bookshops within ten metres. “I just didn’t read around you.”
“I know you read,” Akechi says flatly. “I saw everything you did.”
He still hasn’t properly turned. He feels Ren’s eyes on the back of his neck, through his hair, through his shirt collar; he thinks he’d feel them through a brick fucking wall. “Hifumi saw you,” Ren says.
That’s when he turns, incredulous. Togo had seen him? And known who he was? “I’ve never spoken with Togo-san. How did she remember me?”
“Don’t ask me,” Ren says, with a weird light in his eye, like he’s pleased Akechi turned back to him. “Seems like it’s just a thing. My confidants—do you even know about those?—they all remember.”
For a moment he’s silent. “When everyone else has forgotten.”
“Yeah,” Ren says quietly. His hands have gone into his pockets. He’s taller than he was; his eyes are on a level with Akechi’s, now. Or is he just not slouching?
Akechi sighs. It makes sense. Togo, who Akechi had no connection with; who had no reason to share any of Okumura’s discretion. All of Amamiya’s little projects, remembering Akechi laughing like an idiot, playing the fool, bringing himself down on television.
He feels like he can’t think straight, like he always did. Like he wants to stay put, learning and listening, picking through every little detail Amamiya might or might not have dropped. “I’m sorry Mementos is gone,” he says. Ren looks back at him, unreadable. “Perhaps we could at least have beaten the shit out of each other.”
“Yeah,” Ren says, not laughing. “That might have helped.”
“It did help,” Akechi says abruptly. “Both times, in fact. Because I really never liked you, Amamiya.”
“I know,” Ren tells him, unaffected. “And here we both still are, I guess.” He stands there like someone’s dropped a block of concrete on the pavement. Like Akechi really would have to kill him, to make him give up or go away. And part of Akechi still wants to, while part of him wants this moment to linger. The two of them—one a hero and one, well, not exactly a hero—who entered the fire from opposite sides, and came out changed, together, and alone.
A coin flips. He feels Hereward’s resolve inside him.
“I was going for coffee,” he says, still curt. “Come, if you want. Or stand there like an idiot, till you get arrested again.”
He starts walking in the direction of the nearest coffee shop; it was that or let’s smash a ceramic bear. Ren follows. “A coffee shop?” he asks, at Akechi’s elbow now. “Is this your revenge?”
“Ren,” Akechi tells him, perfectly serious, “you have absolutely no idea.”

PART 4 - Baby Talk
It was once again another date night for Jake and Neytiri and as usual, Enyu was over at the Sullys’ very large and homely tent to babysit little Tuktirey.
She fancied herself a pro by now. The routine typically went; playtime, dinner time, bath time, bedtime, story time. And of course the story always had to end with a “happily ever after” because “that’s how daddy tells it.”
Usually the youngest Sully was knocked out soon after story time ended, but tonight she was wide eyed, animatedly telling Enyu everything about her very exciting day at school.
Enyu listened with rapt attention, responding- at all the right moments, just as animated as Tuk.
Suddenly mid sentence Tuk gasped and said, “I have to tell you the most important thing, ever!”
The little one looked like she was having a hard time containing her excitement. She crawled out of her bed, climbing straight into the older girl’s arms.“Yuna!”
“Yes, TukTuk!” Enyu laughed, trying to match the little one’s energy.
“My friend Artigan’s big sister just had a baby and she says that makes her an aunty and she gets to help take care of him and hold him and cuddle him. And I wanted to do that too but she doesn’t want to share him with me, she says I have to get my own baby and that’s not nice, Mommy says you have to share. But my friend said when you and 'Teyam have a baby, that will mean I get to be an aunty too! So can you and 'Teyam have a baby now so that I can be an aunty right now, puh-leeease. I promise I’ll take really really good care of him. Or her if it’s a girl. I will be really really really responsbilityly. I promise.”
Tuk finished her verbosity with the most serious expression Enyu had ever seen a six year old have.
“Responsible, Tuk, the word is responsible,” Kiri corrected from across the room, smiling at the pair’s conversation, like it was the most normal thing in the world to hear.
After all that in Tuk’s ramble, that’s what Kiri decided to say?
Meanwhile the youngest Sully brother was hooting and howling uncontrollably, clutching his stomach and rolling out of his hammock dramatically.
Enyu couldn’t help but shoot them both with a withering glare over her shoulder. Oh so that’s how they were going to be.
Whether the middle Sully siblings had plans or not, Neytiri always entrusted either Neteyam or Enyu in particular to babysit Tuk. It’s not that she didn’t trust the other two siblings but after the “incident” a year ago, the mother thought it was better to have a more level headed Enyu or Neteyam around. Also Tuk and Enyu had such a special bond, they both loved whenever date night rolled around, so that they could spend time together.
Lo’ak was normally out with his friends at this hour- usually up to no good, but tonight he and Kiri decided to stay in- and it looked like she was on her own with this conversation.
Why did kids have to always say the strangest things?
She gave a hesitant smile to the eager waiting child. “Um, Tuk? Why- um, why would you think Neteyam and I would have a baby?”
“Well I know maybe not now, but I was hoping maybe soon? Mommy says it takes a loooong time to grow one though, but when do you think you can make the baby by?” she enquired expectedly.
Enyu blushed at the flashing image of making a baby with her best friend but quickly shook off the thought. She had to focus on the present situation.
“I’m sorry, Tuk but only mated couples can have a baby.”
“Oh… Well then it’s good that you are already mated, Yuna! Do you think that will make the baby come faster?” She gasped even more excitedly. “If I ask Eywa really really nicely, can I get to choose if it’s a boy or a girl? Oooohh, can I choose the name too?”
Well that just sent Lo’ak and Kiri into another round of titters.
“Tuk, sweetheart. Your brother and I aren't mated,” Enyu said gently.
Tuk frowned. “How come? Don’t you love each other anymore?”
“Yeah, Tiny, how come?” Lo’ak snorted and chortled, trying to get a grip on himself, wincing from a stitch on his side.
She waved him off again.
“We do, little one! But as friends. Best friends.”
Tuk got extremely quiet for a long minute as she absorbed this new information and Enyu held her breath in trepidation.
“Oh… So… so no baby then?” Tuktirey asked sadly, tears welling up in her big round eyes, her bottom lip quivering slightly.
“Awwwww, I’m so sorry, TukTuk.”
She felt terrible when Tuk started crying silently, reaching out for comfort and pressing her little face into Enyu’s neck.
Enyu hugged her to her chest and rocked her, going between humming a soothing song and muttering quiet apologies to her.
~
“You two suck!”
Kiri and Lo’ak cackled at her insult. They all sat around the family table, hanging out after Enyu had finally gotten Tuk to sleep.
“Oh come on, Tiny, you gotta admit Tuk made some good points, “Don’t you love each other?” he mimicked his baby sister's voice, cracking up all over again.
“Don't make fun of her, I made her cry! I feel terrible, and you two were absolutely useless, no help whatsoever!”
“What did you want us to say though? I mean, I’m with Tuk here. Why exactly aren’t you and my brother mated again? You already act like mates more than even some couples themselves. I can see why she’d be confused,” Kiri said.
“We do not!”
“Yeah, I’m gonna have to agree with my sisters on this one. And yes, you do so act like it. You guys spend pretty much all of your free time together.”
“We’re friends!”
“He takes you flying.”
“So what? It’s fun and I don’t have an ikran like you lot.”
“You braid his hair!”
“I braided your hair just last week Lo’ak,” she deadpanned.
“He calls you, Flower.”
“You call me Tiny! Do you think you and I are mated too?”
“Ugh no! You’re like my sister Enyu.”
She smiled at his sentiment.
“Okay then, how about the fact you’re both always nagging each other like an old mated pair? It’s all, “Have you eaten today, my Flower?” and then, “Oh no, ‘Tey! How did you hurt yourself again? You should go to the healers.’” Lo’ak mimicked their high and low pitched voices and Kiri practically had tears in her eyes from laughing so hard, enthusiastically nodding her head in agreement.
“Lo’ak…” Enyu wasn’t impressed in the slightest. “Look, technically we have said versions of those things, but we do not sound like that! You’re exaggerating now.”
Lo’ak gave her an assessing look and sighed. “Alright fine… Don’t take this the wrong way, but you’re gorgeous.” She blinked at him. “You're smart, talented, kind. My idiot brother is forever going on and on about your “impact with the harvest tents and how much you help the healers and the school,” which is also another plus- great with kids,” he said nodding towards Tuk’s sleeping figure. “Basically you're the epitome of a perfect mate.”
‘Where’s he going with this?’ she thought, cheeks flaring in an uncontrollable blush. Her brain wasn’t working fast enough for this conversation either.
“Tiny, I need you to be honest with me here… Have you ever gotten any courting gifts? Any courtship offers? Any parents coming up to you to ‘talk up their son,’ ask if you’re… interested?”
“Uh, no,” she replied, a bit overwhelmed and embarrassed by his invasive questions.
“What about Neteyam? Anyone sniffing around my brother that I don't know about?”
She hesitated now. Why did she hate that question? “I don’t know. We don’t talk about that- but, maybe? There’s Väriä, I thi-”
“Forget her, we all know she has no standards. 'Teyam isn’t the only one she flirts with. Besides her, anyone else?”
“No…”
“See?”
The wheels were turning inside her head. “But- no! This is a lifelong bond we’re talking about here. I don’t- we never announced anything! Don’t couples announce it before the council, before the clan! Before Tsahìk!” She didn’t have many mated acquaintances but she had seen countless couples celebrated and blessed before the entire clan.
“Mmmm, not always,” said Kiri, chipping in. “My friend Beyllark and her mate never announced it. They just had a quiet celebration with their families.”
“So then, you're saying that the entire clan thinks that Neteyam and I are mated?” she asked, feeling panic rising in her chest.
“Well maybe not the entire clan and not mated mated exactly either. A few of my friends just think that you guys are having a long courtship.” Lo’ak said, shrugging.
“Oh no no no no no,” she muttered, putting her palms over her cheeks. “Your parents… they’re probably wondering why he has no prospects! Do you think that they think it’s my fault?”
Kiri snorted. “I don’t think you have to worry about them.”
“Of course I do!” she snapped. “But you’re right. It's your brother I have to worry about... I could be ruining his chances right now. He probably thinks none of the other females are interested!” That queasy feeling was coming back again and with a groan she face-planted the table top, shouting, “Neteyam is going to hate me!”
Kiri and Lo’ak glanced at each other amused.
“Why am I going to hate you?” Neteyam asked distractedly as he quickly entered the tent at that exact moment, overhearing her last line of panic. He headed directly to his private quarters clearly looking for something.
“Did you know that people think we’re mated?” she exclaimed loud enough for him to hear. “As in you and I! Me and you! Neteyam and En’yuna!”
“I know I put that somewhere,” she heard him mumble. “Mated? Oh yeah, I knew that- Ah ha! Found you,” he exclaimed, coming back out while securing a dagger to his side.
“You knew?! What do you mean? Why didn’t I know? Why has no one told me anything?”
Neteyam looked thoroughly amused at her panicked state; he found it adorable. Shrugging he admitted, “I thought you were aware. It’s- well, people kept assuming that we were mated, courting, intended- whatever they wanted to call it, and I just never corrected them.”
“You didn’t?” she asked, her heart fluttering a bit.
“Yeah, what’s the big deal? It’s great. That way I don’t have a bunch of parents and their daughters showing up at our threshold everyday or stopping me every minute to find out if I’m interested. I’m sure you feel the same way.”
He came around the table and ruffled Kiri’s hair affectionately, tapped Lo’ak on the back of the head and bent over to smack a kiss on Enyu’s flushed cheek, his large palm giving her nape a squeeze of comfort. “I gotta get back out there. I’m helping the wranglers fix the outer ikran fence before my patrol shift. Don't stay up too late! See you guys in the morning.”
And then he was gone.
“What just happened?” Enyu asked, blinking a bit dazed.
Lo’ak and Kiri both burst out laughing again.
Completely useless, the two of them.

🐲 For Rayo and 👑 For Sorpresa, please? You can do either or if you don't want to do both. Thank you :)
Oooohhhhohoho! I love this ask :D
First up OUR SWEET PRINCE
I think I need to redesign her mask to make it less like a butterfly, because that ain’t her vibes!
Nou die draak
I kinda rushed the folded wings because I wanted to show his stupid fucking dragon hands off XD
Of course where would a prince be without her dragon?
hey guess what
LORE
So let’s start with our Prince.
Sorpresa comes from a long line of of women royals and is bright and ready to prove herself. A big part of her job tho is keeping her identity secret so she’s able to walk amongst her people without them acting off so they actually know what to fix, hence the mask. They’re also the first defensive against any attacks so they must always be ready with weapons and strangely sharp crowns. Sorpresa is more than ready to take on the world, she’s just waiting on the chance to prove herself.
Dragon man
Rayo X is a Knucker with horns that grew in wrong. Instead of pointing out they grew sideways to form a cross. With less protection than his fellows he decided to leave them to avoid the shame of them telling him he was a burden. While not able to use his horns he has developed one hell of a tail whip to fight back. It has served him well for a long time, but he still appreciated the beak guard because it makes close range attacks easier.
How they know each other!
Sorpresa was an only child and Rayo was an outcast, so both of their childhoods were really very boring when they weren’t training or sleeping. One day Rayo decided he’d drag his sorry ass out of the pond he was holding up in to try find someone to play with. He stumbled across a very flashy silver gate with blue gems set into its crest. He couldn’t help himself, he slithered up and pecked the sapphires out. Holding one up to admire it he watched as the world through it fractured and spun through the blue shine. On the other side he saw more flowers than he’d ever seen in his life. He had to see more! So he bellyflopped into the yard and went skittering to check everything out. Needless to say he trashed the place.
Meanwhile
A very board student was staring out her window while her tutor was trying to explain why the apple fell on Newton’s head and wishing that she could be doing anything else. Suddenly she saw a shadow climb over her fence and start slinking around her hard pulling up her grandmother’s flowers and toppling statues of her long dead relatives and if that wasn’t the most interesting thing she’d seen all day. Her teacher didn’t even get the chance to grab her before she went bursting out the window and scaling down the vines till she was able to land with only scarped knee to complain of.
Rayo was admiring how his reflection was shining in the depths of their well.
“HEY!”
A shout and poke from behind him made him jump and lose his grip on one of gems. He lent forward to to try catch it before it was out of reach, but a smack on his back made him jolt forwards and go spilling into the the depths below.
For a second he considered just curling into a ball at the bottom until whatever it was went away, but he reminded himself he’s a fucking dragon who can whip ass if he wants to.
Sorpresa peered over the edge of the well wall to the Rocky water below. She thought it was someone in a long robe digging through her family’s yard, but for a second she could have sworn…A dragon’s head come rocketing out of the earth below. Her stomach nearly fell out her ass as she steps back keeping her weapon up list like she was taught and glued her eyes to the opening waiting for a fight. Nothing came. Slowly she approached again to take another peak.
Rayo was about seven feet short from the top and was desperately clinging to the stones trying to claw his way back out, but he kept hitting a smooth one and ended up splashing back down.
Sorpresa watched him struggle for a bit. Poor thing looked like it was panicking. “Hello?”
Rayo paused. He looked up at the face above him. “Why did you hit me?”
Sorpresa cringed. “Well it was you or me.” She glanced at the torn up flowers and shuttered seeing that the crown broke off of her great great great aunt. “My mama is gonna explode when she sees this.”
Rayo curled around himself trying to calm down. “Whatever.” He dipped back below the water to tie himself in a knot. He couldn’t deal with this.
Above him a blip in the water made him stir. A tock on his head made him rise out back out of the water to see he must have fallen asleep because the light around them had faded to a deep purple, or maybe that was just a reflection from him.
“What?”
“I came back to check in you and I was worried you drowned.” Rayo blinked up at her. “You’re…really stuck, huh?” Rayo started sinking again. “I’ll get you out, don’t worry.”
Rayo Sat with his eyes above the water as he watched her work. A few minutes later a rope flitted down next to him and Sorpresa called him up. He reached out and gave it a tug. The beam it was tied to creaked a little, but didn’t break. He wrapped himself around it and started his way up.
Halfway up the rope he heard something snap and he practically turned to stone.
“C’mon! You’re almost there!” Sorpresa leaned over to see her garden destroyer dangling like a uvula in the throat of some great beast. He was so close she could almost…she grabbed the rope, looped her leg around it and slid down far enough that she could reach out and touch him. He was way smoother than she excepted, but when she went to sooth down his spines he flinched away. She hissed. “No! Not back down!” The knucker stayed where he was. She puffed air out through her nose and went over what she had learned. “I’m sorry I scared you down here earlier, but it’s my duty to protect those in my kingdom..where you are, so please let me help you.”
She reached down a second time, but instead of touching him she held her hand in front of his eye. He cocked his head at it, then cautiously dug his claw into her sleeve.
Sorpresa had to bite the inside of her cheek to keep from pulling away as he climbed up her arm, cutting her more with each step. She watched blood run down her arm through the rips in her sleeve. Mama really won’t be happy with her destroying her shirts like this. Soon enough Rayo was clinging to her shoulder with his tail wrapped around her arm for balance. Even with the extra weight she pulled them both up and out where she dumped them both on the ground.
Now that they were both safe she got to have a proper look at him. “You had wings this whole time? Why didn’t you use them?”
Rayo was trying very hard to dry off by flopping around in the dirt, but he humoured her and opened them. “Its too cramped down there to fly.”
“Oh. Wh-“
“I dropped your gems in the well.”
“You did what?”
And the rest is history!
#I have never seen Sorpresa in a skirt/dress and I refuse to be the first to put her in one#Los campeones de la Lucha Libre#Rayo X#sorpresa!#I loved this ask#I love you#thank you for asking!#my beloved#does this count as fanfiction?

It was a normal day on Mars Base B-12. Maria and her colleagues have been here for 99 days now. They were about to set up another outpost to expand the colony and to do more research in the area.
Maria was proud to be one of the pioneers who seemed to have this important task! But while her colleagues took care of research and development, she was just a part of paperwork. Despite this, she was proud of her work!
In her spare time, Maria loved to explore the planet's rocks to find any oddities. She believed that there could have been life on this barren planet, contrary to the opinion of her colleagues.
The outpost was only temporary and housed only a few sleeping quarters, so every day the others kept going back to the main base while Maria and her colleague George stayed there to make sure everything went smoothly. George was a loner, which just meant Maria could do whatever she wanted!
On this day Maria had taken some of the stones that were taken from the depths out of storage. Perhaps these have not yet been officially examined, but nothing says that you are not allowed to look at them? George was probably already asleep in his cabin like always. But when she was about to put the stones down in the lab, one stone fell down and split in two…
Maria made an incredible discovery, it was a crystal, all purple inside! She had never seen anything so beautiful. It seemed like there was a bubble in there, a cavity? That means that there must have been air on the planet! Clearly, Maria thought it all together.
But then Maria heard someone coming, and it could only be George! She quickly hid the broken stone behind her. When George came in he asked Maria what she was doing with the stones? She said sheepishly that she wanted to take a closer look at them. George then ordered her to clear it back and made it clear to her that she was not trained for such examinations.
George walked on while Maria began to carry the stones back to storage, only taking the crystal to her cabin. At her desk she just started to admire the stone. She was so happy to have finally found something like this! But Maria didn't notice how something slowly crept up her clothes. It was long and very thin, with very long legs and hardly anything that could be called a body. It climbed up over her chair, on to her sweater. Maria thought she was itching and when she reached back, she hit the thing directly.
Maria stood up, startled, spinning in circles trying to get the thing off her, but before she could know it, the thing bit in her neck. She fell to her knees and could not move. What happened?! Maria was severely confused, unable to control her body. Was she poisoned!?
Meanwhile George came over and knocked to see if everything was ok. She wanted to call for help, but couldn't. She wanted to go to the door but it was not possible for her. George apologized to Maria for being so harsh and was on his way again. The thing started to dig into Maria's skin, it was a painful process but she couldn't say much, only tears ran from her eyes. A huge scar was formed along the spine on her back.
Maria her head was slowly starting to produce crazy things. She smelled flowers, tasted good food from her childhood and got very hot. So FREAKING hot! You could say that her hand started to fumble on her body by itself. She no longer knew what she was doing and what was happening out of control. Her hand disappeared into her pants and started touching her pussy, going over it, like finding out for the first time what this even is.
After that, Maria got very tired, but not really. More like being in a trance state. She got up and fell back on the floor immediately. She grabbed the desk to get to her feet and walked along the wall to the door. Once there, she made her way across the hall to George's cabin. George cabin, George, Georgee…
Just the thought of him made her go wild, she could hardly control herself. When she finally arrived she knocked on George's door. She called his name in a light voice and asked to open the door. When George finally opened the door, he was amazed at how red Maria was. He thought that she had gotten sick. Holding halfway to the door frame with shaking legs, Maria jumps forward and throws them both on the floor. George asks what's going on, but he seems even more confused than usual when Maria starts pulling up his sweater and licking his body.
George doesn't seem to know what to do! Maria meanwhile licks his upper body up to his neck like a puppy. She has no idea what would happen next. George pushes himself back so She is no longer on top of him. But even George can't hide the big mound in his pants. He's trying to calm Maria down, but there is nothing stopping her. She tears down his pants and lies directly in front of Georg's most magnificent piece. She starts licking it right away, tasting it, the sweat, the pre cum, how salty it is makes Maria even hornier.
George, under pressure for months to finally have a woman in front of him, cums right on Maria's face. But all Maria does is take the cum and eat it. George now completely loses his composure. He throws Maria backwards, pulls her pants down and rams it in as deep as he can with all his strength. Maria can't take it anymore and faints completly, while George regains his senses as he sees Maria seeming like having a seizure. In total panic He picks her up and carries her to the lab.

Princess Kate’s Early Years awareness campaign slammed by credible experts
February 01, 2023
I was quite confused by the Princess of Wales’s visit to the Leeds Market yesterday, because the stated goal was to promote her idiotic Shaping Us awareness campaign, and she apparently wanted to talk to market vendors about their childhood. There was another purpose for the photo-op though – she was unveiling some billboard or something for Shaping Us, and she actually talked to vendors about what they thought of her campaign. Like… they sent her to a market and tasked her with asking working people what they thought of her billboard? Meanwhile, one of the flower vendors was just trying to make a sale and he ended up getting the scoop of the day:
Kate politely ignored a distinct wolf whistle as she made her way through the busy market.
Optimistic florist Neil Ashcroft tried his best to make a sale, giving the Princess his sales patter as she inspected his merchandise before gifting her some of her favourite hyacinths.
“No doubt William will be buying you some red roses,” he said. Mr Ashcroft revealed afterwards that she had replied: “I don’t think he will do.”
The florist, who has run the M&D Flowers in the market for 32 years, lamented failing to make a sale.
“I offered her a discount. I said I would give her a card and knock off the VAT,” he said, but to no avail, although he did enjoy talking to her. “She acted very genuine.”
[From The Telegraph]
I’m surprised she didn’t hiss “he better not get me ROSES.” And if you’re going to send Buttons to a market, give her some cash so she can buy some stuff. These are working people and they’re just trying to earn a living, and Kate’s all “what do you think of my billboard, how did your early years shape you to the florist I see before me?” Buy something or move along, damn it. Speaking of Kate’s busy work, an authentic group of credible Early Years experts has questioned why Kate is sucking up time, money and resources for an awareness-raising campaign:
The Princess of Wales has launched her new early childhood plan in Leeds, but a campaign group has said long-term investment is required instead of raising “awareness”.
The group Practitioners of the Early Years Sector said: “We are well accustomed to MPs and royalty visiting early years settings, praising the invaluable work of practitioners from David Cameron to Gordon Brown and the Queen Consort. But nothing is done. The time has long passed for ‘awareness’. We need action – long-term investment and funding in the early years.”
The group said early years’ centres are “having to close, with staff laid off due to being constantly underfunded and under-resourced…. Childcare providers are having to turn to food charities to provide nutritious meals for children while stagnant government funding still is not being directed to the sector – the paltry government funding of early years that is provided does not cover the provision of any food.”
The group also said that no early years experts were on the team that wrote a key report for the princesses’ Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.
[From Sky News]
Thank you, Practitioners of the Early Years Sector, for speaking the truth. Yet another awareness-raising campaign which does nothing but waste everyone’s time and money, and it’s just busy-work for Kate, it’s just Kate turning up at events in her new frocks and wiglets, mumbling about the Early Years. “The group also said that no early years experts were on the team that wrote a key report for the princesses’ Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood” – I could have told you that! The “report” was basically “the early years are important, baby brains are important” and that’s it.

Snowells Week -Day 1: Red/High School
Pairing: Caitlin/HR
Title: Things We're All Too Young To Know
Fic premise:
Childhood friends/High School/High School reunion AU
The book of love is long and boring
And written very long ago
It's full of flowers and heart-shaped boxes
And things we're all too young to know
("The Book of Love" by Peter Gabriel)
The kids all went to grade school with each other in Central City - Caitlin, Cisco, Barry, Iris, Ronnie, Hartley, Linda. Harrison (Harry) Wells and HR (Henry Richard Wells) were twin brothers a few years ahead of the others, who moved to town mid-school year while the others were in 5th grade. Caitlin’s father and Barry’s father worked together, and they were friends with Iris's father too. Neither Harry nor HR ever got along with their father, who never really bothered to be in their life either. HR and Harry were around the younger kids a lot, though HR got along better with them.
A few grades ahead of those in her age group, Caitlin had most classes with the Wells twins - Harry and HR. (some of the other could have been in advanced classes, but chose not to) She was still friends with Barry, Cisco, Iris, and Ronnie, but she was probably closest to HR growing up. The first year she skipped ahead HR was her partner for their history class, and the two were inseparable from then on. She introduced him to her friends, and he to his grumpy twin, and the group was close during the rest of high school. When Caitlin's father died when she was fifteen, HR was there for her more than her own mother, who pushed her away. Harry, HR, and Caitlin graduated a few years ahead of the others. Harry and Caitlin went off to separate colleges, and HR stayed behind at a community college.
HR fell in love with Caitlin quickly during their schooling, though he never had the courage to say anything. It was obvious to everyone else except Caitlin, who was too busy harboring her own crush on HR to notice how much he liked her. She dated Ronnie for a while in high school and Julian in college, and Hunter during med school. She and Ronnie broke up the night of her prom when she revealed her plan to go to a school out of state while Ronnie would have 2 more years of high school. It was amicable, but she was still hurt to be losing him. That night after the breakup, HR is there for her. But he gets caught up in the moment, goes to kiss her. She’s confused, spooks him with her reaction, and takes off. He won’t answer her calls, and when she goes to his house, he won’t come to the door. She really only kept in touch with Cisco after she left town after high school, occasionally Iris. She checked in with Harry a few times to make sure HR was okay, but Harry left shortly after she did after an argument between the brothers. (She never knew that the brothers argued over Caitlin and how much of a coward Harry thought HR was for leaving things that way with her).
15 years later for their high school reunion, HR really doesn’t want to go. He knows from Harry that Caitlin didn’t go to the 5 or 10 year, though he didn’t know exactly why. He’s mortified - his dreams of becoming a writer have pretty much failed. He can’t find the inspiration or the story he wants to tell. He’s been working at the same bookstore in town he used to practically live at when he was a kid, same as the last 2 reunions so he didn’t see any reason to go now. Meanwhile, both Harry and Caitlin have advanced in both science and medicine. (Harry also has a daughter with his college sweetheart Tess, who died shortly after Jesse was born. Caitlin was the only one of their group besides HR who knew about Jesse).
Caitlin became a doctor just like she’d always wanted, focusing on curing degenerative diseases. Caitlin wasn’t at the 5-year reunion because she was busy working at the hospital, and the 10 year because she’d been having a hard time after finding out her ex (Hunter) was a serial killer. She only agrees to go to the 15 year because their friends beg her to meet up with them. Really, they just want her and HR to repair their friendship (or maybe more).
HR and Caitlin talk, about what they went through the last 15 years, about *that* night, about the fact that they were both in love with each other and totally missed it. They don’t want to waste any more time than they already have to start their lives together. Caitlin encourages him to write what he knows, and he writes their story - it’s an instant bestseller.

P.S. I hope to write this out one of these days since it's pretty much planned out. I'm debating doing a version of this for my screenwriting class, so maybe if I do that, I'll convert it back to being Snowells and in fic version.
Hope you enjoyed the summary and graphic so far though!
