Given that Meghan was feeding info to Lainey through Scobie, I have no sympathy.
Kate makes everything look easy. That’s why Meghan thought it would be
But Lainey Gossip said Meghan would teach Kate how it's done. LOL. Lainey is still seriously hoping that Meghan will get her big break. I honestly feel for her and Celebitchy at this point. They don't want to admit that they backed the wrong horse. None of the Sussexes supporters wanted her to leave the palace. They wanted her to show Kate how it's done. They wanted to see her succeed as a stick to beat Kate with. But she failed and now they have eggs in their faces and have to pretend they have always supported megxit.
And Meghan believed all the Lainey/Celebitchy bs about how KP did everything for the Cambridges and they were lazy and dumb. That’s why Meghan expected everything done for her, and wasn’t satisfied even when everything did get done.
She should sue Celebitchy for misrepresentation, lol.

I have dared to venture into Celebitchy and the meltdown is delicious to watch. Kaiser is openly accusing Sophie of stealing funds and apparently is all a William's plot to destroy H. The reasoning behind it is that one of the new members of the board used to collaborate with the Tusk Awards.
I know Sophie has enough on her plate wight now, but I hope someone eventually sues Kaiser for defamation and closes that viper's nests for good.
Kaiser has always been cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. Best steer clear, it might be contagious.

We know Megs has a bot farm er estate but do the Royals? by u/Sadlyonlyonehere
We know Megs has a bot farm, er, estate but do the Royals? Over on celebitchy, sugars are putting all the negative comments and reviews on Meg’s frantic endeavour releases down to bots unleashed by the actual Royals. Now, I know there are millions who find her jam show horrible (see Rotten Tomatoes ratings) but the topic made me wonder….. do we think the actual Royals would care enough about Meg’s embarassing attempts at relevance? To me, she’d be no more consequential to them than a gnat on the arse of an elephant. post link: https://ift.tt/zJlvDEO author: Sadlyonlyonehere submitted: March 14, 2025 at 04:11PM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit disclaimer: all views + opinions expressed by the author of this post, as well as any comments and reblogs, are solely the author's own; they do not necessarily reflect the views of the administrator of this Tumblr blog. With that said, can you honestly name someone who's systematically made their hatred of Kate their entire personality for more than a decade without clearly being viewed as someone with mental issues?
I mean there are bloggers like celebitchy who have made slut shaming and body shaming Kate their entire personality and have been doing it for more than a decade. There are bloggers on tumblr who have disliked Kate before she got married and now claim to support Meghan. The first thing these bloggers did after watching Meghan's show was berate Kate instead expressing what they loved about the show.
It was very obvious what you were referring to, you didn't have to explicitly name names. I do think the overreaction over Meghan's show is unwanted and I absolutely do not deny she has and continue to face racial abuse. My point was most of the time those who acknowledge the abuse hurled at Meghan take active part in abuse thown at Kate, let's be honest the criticism is not only about her work ethic but she is mostly attacked on her personality, her weight, age, wrinkles, relationships, marriage and now being accused of faking her illness, speculation of DV every single day. Reiterating my point again, that those who call out the hate on one woman usually take active part in spreading hatred against the other.
Tumblr media
The likes of Celebitchy commenters—like DM commenters—were not really who I was getting at. I think most sane people know that critical thinking go out the window when you give people the opportunity to hide behind anonymous profiles.
I'm talking examples of someone systematically following Kate's every move (every engagement, every social media post, every hogwash clickbait article about her etc.) solely to gleefully hop onto their microblogging platform to pile on her. Because I genuinely have not seen that kind of obsessive behaviour but if you have examples, please do share (you can send @'s to me and I won't publish the message) and I'll recant.
I admittedly smirked at your suggestion of Kate haters only supporting Meghan to spite Kate. Might those people just genuinely like how Meghan was doing things? I think the black and white insistence to put them in opposition to one another—no doubt peddled by the Camb media strategy of always positioning the Sux as inferior to them—is the crux of so much of petty fandom discourse.
But hey, I don't disagree at all that it's deeply hypocritical to not practice what you preach (nor did I say so in my post). Albeit 1.) it doesn't make the behaviour I was referring to any less disturbing. And 2.) I think lots of what you're mentioning speaks into a sense of powerlessness over the systematic racism Meghan endures. It's a different discussion for a different day but ultimately I think the methodic discrimination aimed at her—and not just a lack of support from her family but an outright dismissal of her situation—makes it's tempting to reach for the lowest common denominator out of frustration and against better knowledge.
And finally, yes, I did tag Meghan (because as I also mentioned in the tags, the post was inspired by posts about her and the show) but that doesn't mean my post only applies to people who are unhinged about her—just that many of the people who are unhinged about her (yet frequent her tags like obsessed fans) are active on this platform so hopefully my post would reach them 😊 A glance at my blog will tell you that I don't shy away from explicitly mentioning Meghan when I'm talking about issues only concerning her. As I said, my post can just as easily be applied to people who are unhinged about Mary—only her dungeon smurfs mainly operate on whole message board created for the sole purpose of spewing hatred about her and not here so I doubt it would reach them 🤷‍♀️

"Last month, the Duchess of Sussex spent a lot of time in Pasadena and Altadena after the wildfires ripped through the area and turned whole communities to ash. We knew that Meghan talked to evacuees and that she and Harry were serving food and meeting with first responders and officials. We also know that Meghan was offering a lot of support to the Altadena Girls. Well, it looks like Meghan was also meeting with families whose lives were upended by the disaster, and she befriended a family with a teenage girl. All the girl wanted was her Billie Eilish concert t-shirt, but it had been destroyed in the fire. So Meghan used all of her contacts to get a voice memo to Billie Eilish, and wouldn’t you know, Billie got the message and sent a big package full of signed merch to Meghan, to give to this teenager. Meghan made an IG video about it:"

Did people always pick apart the wales marriage or did it happen when Meghan and harry got together and started being clingy? I remember seeing something on twitter from their documentary that said 70 percent of the hate tweets were from 83 accounts and I feel like someone needs to do that when it comes to the waleses because how does a tweet taken out of context get thousands of likes automatically?🙄
I really don't know, you'd have to find someone who's been a part of the fandom longer than I have. I ended up here accidentally when I went hunting to find out if I was the only one who had a bad feeling about Meg lol
oho, buckle up ladies. They've been picking apart the Wales marriage since 1pm on April 30, 2011. From 2011 - 2015ish, it was done on certain corners of the internet, like Kaiser's section of Celebitchy, and most people didn't pay any attention to it because it was such a tinhatty conversation.
The game changed in 2016ish, after Charlotte was born.
First, Charles's and Andrew's marriages imploded after the births of their second child with the blame falling on the women. These people basically said that why should Kate be any different and started going after her. There's a period of time after Charlotte was born, in late 2015 or early 2016, when Kate suddenly dropped a ton of weight, which these people interpreted to mean as there were problems in the Cambridge marriage that caused enormous stress for Kate and speculated that she stopped eating/kept working out. This chunk of time also overlaps with a period of time where Kate had some engagements with Ben Ainslie in which they were flirty and friendly with each other.
These bloggers/this section of the internet decided that William had cheated on Kate 2015/2016ish, Kate's overnight weight loss was due to stress from his cheating, and she retaliated by having a brief fling with Ben Ainslie. Elizabeth caught wind of this and forced the Cambridges into marital counseling because the monarchy couldn't survive another divorce. (One of these bloggers who believed and perpetuated this is now rather quite popular and is now considered one of the experts here on royal tumblr. I disagree with her take on this and stopped following her because of it.)
This section of the internet also believes that Kate would only forgive William for his cheating if he gave her another baby, which is how Louis came to be. It's very possible that this is the true origin story of the Rose Rumor since we know that Meghan was paying attention to the royal blogs when she was dating Harry.
Second, the other gamechanger in 2016 was, of course as we know, Meghan. Her fans brought a ton of toxicity to the royal fandom that was kind of a "safer in numbers" mentality where people like Kaiser who openly hated Kate and these other blogs who openly picked on the Cambridge marriage (like the bloggers who speculated about the 2015/2016 years) were enabled to speak out more, and more loudly, about the problems they perceived in the then-Cambridge marriage and Kate as a person.
So the "Kate haters" were now speaking as a louder group, which caused the "Kate defenders" to start speaking up and everything kept escalating to where it soon broke out into a fandom war with everyone choosing sides:
Anti-Kate because they wanted to marry William.
Anti-Meghan because they wanted to marry Harry.
Neutral but they're openly misogynistic and sexist about hating Kate.
Neutral but they really hate Meghan because they're closet racists.
Harry stans
Meghan stans (Sussex Squad)
Pro-William/Cambridge because he's the future king.
Anti-Harkles because they're not William and Kate.
Anti-Cambridges because they're not sharing with Meghan and Harry.
Diana stans
Kate stans (who I think are now called Wales Wailers)
The actual neutral middle who's just here for jewels and clothes.
Formerly "actual neutral middle" blogs who had hinky feelings about Meghan.
People with no interest in the BRF
People with no interest in the Cambridges or Sussexes
To answer anon's question about how a tweet could be wildly taken out of context for thousands of likes -- it's because of the fandom war and all these different sides.
IMO, the fandom war was never really resolved. Everyone mostly keeps to their "side" of royal tumblr now. Every once in a while a couple of them clash but it ends quickly and then everyone goes back to their corners. I think the pandemic, the lockdowns, and the lack of royal content because of lockdowns caused a lot of bloggers to chill out on Wales v Harkles - they either left royal-watching all together or found a new "thing" to focus on instead. (I have a theory about this but it's controversial.)
anon thank you so much for writing this all out! you're a real gem, and please give us your theory!!! i'd love to hear it
(i read it while i was eating dinner which is why i'm posting it so quick after the last ask, i already know what they said lol)

The weed farm thing is an invention from a blog called celebitchy, one of their bloggers hates Catherine to a disturbing degree. They invented the pot farm thing wholesale, and they've been flogging that theory for years... So we should find *someone* who reads Kate-Hate blogs and can get a blind item published, I wonder who that might be 👻

But Kate keeps winning tho... I mean... lmao

Wow, I'm surprised Lainey wrote about him at all. She hates him with a passion, for years now, ever since she saw him taking extra thongs at a gifting suite in Vegas. You should read anything she writes about him, if she directly writes about him, as dripping in sarcasm. (Which this is.)
Excuse me?!
Nancy how far back would I have to look at Lainey’s archive to find this story? Or do you remember the headline? I’ve never heard of this before 😂
For the record I really only ever read Lainey or Celebitchy when I’m mad at him because they don’t pull their punches.
This is something I only heard second hand years after it happened when I entered the fandom in 2016. Yeah, apparently in his early Hollywood years (I'm thinking the 2005-2007 period), she apparently saw him in a gifting suite at one of the big Vegas casinos during a special event weekend taking multiple pairs of women's thongs. This completely soured her attitude about him. I have no idea if this story is anywhere in her old archive, or deleted and now only survives as fandom folklore.
I used to love reading Celebitchy but haven't been there in ages.
