You've been physically distant lately and I'm feeling smothered emotionally," Claire blurted out, stabbing a piece of fruit with her fork. Jessica 's heart sunk deep into her hollow chest. Because this actually, isn't working for me anymore either," she lied, repressing the tears welling up in her eyes. Claire sighed and set down her fork. "I'm not sure what to tell you.
