This season is I think 10 episodes. From some pics that Ludwika posted during post-production it's visible in the script that there at least is an episode 310. Also, if we're looking patterns from previous season's trailers then the clips from the s3 trailer most probably are from episodes 1-5, and maybe some short ones from later episodes. Anyways, here's me predicting a timeline!

Ep. 1: Dinner + office I'm guessing the breakfast at Ana's is gonna be the opening scene, just like in s2. Then she goes to the office and chats with Mariana, who looks terrified half the time in this trailer… hmm. In that office scene when she tells Ana about Ferrán she just looks so stressed, which she probably is lmao I can't really blame her. Anyways, I can also see the part from the teaser where Ana makes dinner for them (while Mariana is with Ferrán :SS) also happens in the first maybe 1-3 episodes.

Ep. 1-2?: JC spying He plants the mics and Ana finds them, then JC finds them broken. This might also happen in the first episodes, maybe even in the first one. Also is Mariana sleeping at Ana's place? Ana has the same outfit on in the trailer when she finds the mics and then in another pic where they're eating, and Mariana is in pyjamas. They're really really doing the fake dating?? And is JC still in the house? From the pic it looks like there's a plate where he usually sits, so... I guess... :S

Ep. 3: Chocolates ...is the name of this ep!

Ep. 4: It's happening???! According to the IG story scripts the ladies’ trip happens in episode 4. Now what happens so they end up there, Idk. Where are they going and why, Idk either. What's known is that they're driving somewhere, Ana and Mariana are chatting as usual, talking about who the best driver is (ofc Ana claims she’s the better one). Then Ana mentions that she's tired so Mariana drives instead. Here, it seems like Mariana's about to crash the car into a cow (not a bull) which is what Ana is referring to in the teaser, or a train as written in the script... I think they leave their car and maybe hitchhike to another town? There's this cast member who is referred to as "mecanico" and is seen in the truck with Ana and Mariana. He's not driving Ana's car. So they probably decide to stay the night and hang around the town. It looks like there's a band playing, so I hope they're gonna hang around and just have a nice time! Just them. They also seem a little tipsy in the teaser... So maybe they'll have some drinks and then the teaser part comes where they're chatting and having a moment. I guess after this part is when the kissing from the trailer comes. Now is it actually happening, is it a dream or something else, Idk. It looks real tho... I think the lighting kind of makes it look "dreamy" lol but, the clothes are the same plus them being tipsy... it could be fr. I guess this is one of those too good to be true moments but, it's not impossible! I'm having high hope for this episode. It feels like it'll be a really good one.

Ep. 5-6?: Yo estoy enamorada de Ferrán I think Mariana telling Ana that she never broke up with Ferrán happens after the ep. 4 kissing which is why Ana also looks SO hopeful, and then so confused and let down. Also because the kissing is in ep. 4, they're most probably keeping Ferrán for more than 4 episodes.

Ep. 5-6?: Ana + Elena Ana seeing Elena and the other lady happens in the middle. This show has a pretty fast pace so I wouldn't be surprised if Ana's exploring only lasts for one/two episodes, while maybe Mariana in the same episodes can't get it to work with Ferrán and comes to her own conclusions. Is she gonna see Ana with the other woman? Is she gonna get jealous? (pls)

Ep. 7-8? Reconciliation? I wonder if this is the reconciliation moment after everything goes down with Ana's date and Ferrán. And are Ana and Mariana going to stop seeing each other for a while like in s2? In any case, in the trailer (andthe gif) it looks like Mariana's saying "Ana", and looks surprised and happy, maybe relieved? and the peep Ana’s jacket on the armchair, it looks like the jacket in the photo. Is this Elena's place? I don’t think it is… but there have been a couple of times Ludwika has been filming at Elena's house so I hope they have scenes together and actually become friendly, or even friends :D.

Ep. 9-10: The End Rodrigo has his graduation at some point, maybe that could also be at the end, together with the celebration at Ana's and then lastly Tere having her baby, which ties it all from 101 to 310 together.

Ep. 1-7?: Ferrán Matías Novoa (Ferrán) also posted some scripts. My guess is he'll be in the first half of the season at least if not more. The scene where Mariana is talking to Lucía and Tere maybe is from episodes 5-7? There is this script that he posted but I can't see the episode number... it looks like 307, but I'm not sure. Mariana and Ferrán are preparing to sleep but they are having a discussion about the girls. She's saying "What were you thinking?!" "One: If Ana finds out, she'll kill me. Two: You didn't tell me, and three: I left [the girls] with you so you could bond with them, if not, I prefer leaving them with my mom or my grandma". Then Ferrán says that he's sorry and he didn't want to disturb her in the middle of her meeting and so he had no other choice basically. Mariana says that it's fine but that it can't happen again. What did he do lol?? If there are 10 episodes, then maybe their break up could happen in ep. 7.

(Also Ferrán always buying things for Mariana or Regina and trying to make her stay is just so... just stop lmao. Like their whole relationship started with him buying her a new bike, then toys for Regina without asking, and in s3 it looks like he bought a crib and then in the teaser clip a fkn iMac for Mariana, like we get it.)

Ep. ?: Ana tucking Mariana in At the end of the trailer Ana is in this houndstooth patterned dress, while Mariana is sleeping in her bed. I don't know where or what event Ana could've been to... If it would be work related then Mariana would've joined too since they're still working together (or are they?). Is Mariana actually staying at her house? I don't think permanently but for sure from time to time. Where would this bit fit? There could be so many different scenarios xd

Ep. ?: Ana + JC The Ana + JC meditation trip is very loose in the timeline, I have no idea where this would fit either... maybe in the middle somewhere, after they "split up" again. Also in the script, at the top it looks like Ana is talking to her mom about her dad, and how she doesn't want to see him again. I think he comes to her house, then she visits him at some point. I think her dad has been so absent he barely knows how many children she even has (shown in the script). There's another one where JC and Ro are at a golf course with JC's dad, so apparently the grandpas are joining this season. I think JC's and Victor's dad is in the hospital in the finale as well.

So yeah I'm imagining something like this... Then again, I thought that Ana and Mariana weren't gonna mention whatever happened in the first season maybe until 202 or 203, but it literally happened after like 10 minutes lmao, so yeah I'm probably way off. But anyways it's fun to speculate :D

Okay so HOTD S2 E4 thoughts (SPOILERS)

No matter what my thoughts are on Aemond being humiliated in the last ep by Aegon and his consequential actions this episode, But LMFAO that High Valyrian conversation they have is the funniest shit ever, we have Aemond just being fluent as fuck, being the most condescending and sarcastic boi out there, the "My king" in both High Valyrian and English was just 🤌🏻😭 and then there's Aegon just going on - I can have to make war??? Like the boy should have concentrated a bit more on his language lessons and less on his frolicking 😭😭 it's my personal fav at this point. And everyone is so fucking awkward just looking between both the brothers, prolly knowing that Aemond is being an ass to Aegon and he can't do anything but listen. Loved it ✨

Daemon losing his mind then Alys conversing with him so casually and giving him some sort of concoction, which he drank also?😭😭 I mean babe did no one tell you how you shouldn't drink/eat stuff which strangers give you. Is he just gonna go mad at Harrenhal? Is that what they are planning for him this season?? Also what was that Daemond manifestation lmfao.

Poor Tully boy just loves his Grandpa and came to have a chat with Rogue Prince, he wasn't aware that he'd be asked to kill his grandfather😭

Jace and Baela were just trying to hold their ground between all those old fucks being condescending to them. Also, they cannot respect Rhaenys but shut up as soon as Corolys is there???? Like bitches can you be more misogynistic ;_;

Also, Corolys being an ass when Rhaenys is hinting about his bastards, like bitch be remorseful that's the least you can do after cheating on that goddess, men just suck sometimes (most times).

The way Jace reacts and interrogates Rheanyra, lmfao boy was def raised by Daemon and it shows, just his whole personality at that point screamed Daemon to me 🤌🏻

I really liked the shot where Rheanyra tells Jace about the prophecy, a very beautiful moment somehow, and loved that it overlapped with Rhaenys bonding with Meleys, sweetest shit ever.

On the topic of Dragon riders bonding with Dragons, Aegon just looking genuinely happy for the first time in so long (ever??) while meeting Sunfyre was the cutest shit ever and please why can't I have more of it 😭😭 Sunfyre was just so happy to see his rider as well lmfao.

The whole Dragons fight scene was just fucking amazing, Vhagar just fucking camouflaging in the woods and going down to sleep again, mood, and Aemond again with his High Valyrian 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

Aegon had to command his dragon in English, like he could have learnt those bare minimum words atleast 🤡 but as long as Sunfyre understood him :')

Last 20 mins of the ep just gave me chills and had me sitting on the edge of my sofa, despite guessing what's about to come (I am a stupid person who reads spoilers and watches video and spoils the shows for myself), it just made me love the show again this Season, just fucking gold ✨

ALSO, ALSO, MY FAV SHOT HAS TO BE WHEN COLE FELL LIKE LMFAO HATE THAT MAN SO MUCH, one of the dragons should have just trampled him lmfao😭

The Rhaenys shot was just too sad :') but also very GoT coded so it was good as well.

Overall, loved the ep, loved loved loved the High Valyrian lmfao.

Pit Babe - Ep 13

I don't have much to write about this, because with the exception of Way and his potential partners, nothing else really interested me in this series. And it's good that people who know the novel were throwing spoilers left and right without warning, because thanks to this I could mentally prepare for what will happen to Way 😶 Thanks to the fact that Way in this episode just stood there, then jumped, and then died, making it all about Babe anyway, and thanks to spoilers, his death didn't really affect me. It was oddly funny tho, when I thought wistfully again how great Pavel and Nut are together and how I wish they were together as a pair (this is my unfulfilled ship in this series). I watched for a bit after that scene, hoping that maybe Way had somehow survived, hehe, but it was a vain dream 🤡 I honestly chuckled in disbelief when PeteWay was reduced to Pete's little sadness and a montage of some 4 of their scenes, and when I realized that they didn't even have Kenta there to mourn his brother. Tbh I skipped through the rest of the episode, and since I wasn't interested in the rest of it in the first place, that was the end of my adventure with Pit Babe 🥳 Despite knowing the spoilers, I had quite high hopes that Way would survive, because he was actually VERY popular in the Pit Babe fandom, and killing off a fan favorite is always a risky move. Way could have been punished for what he did in many ways, he could have left the team, cut off contact with Babe, left the country, anything. Even go to jail, like in History 3: Trapped! And yet they chose something so final. Nobody even called an ambulance for him....

I liked that it was Kenta who ended The Tony problem, and that he wasn't overwhelmed by his own actions, didn't lose control and stopped Tony when he tried to hit him. It was actually my fav part of this ep. (and the whole Winner and The Boys scene lol) As I understand it, Kenta didn't have any more scenes after that? Even to cry over Way? Am I wrong? I ask, because maybe he did appear after all, and I have missed him by skipping scenes.

If you are a Charlie fan, don't read this part: Even though I'm allergic to Charlie and CharlieBabe, I forced myself to watch their scenes at the beginning because I was curious how Babe would deal with the fact that Charlie was alive, he lied to him in a most fundamental way, broke his heart in the worst possible way, sending him into mourning and a destructive need for revenge. Babe handled it with flying colors like a model grief stricken patient 👌 Can't help but wonder, why there was a ENTIRE episode about the grieving Babe when he acts now like Charlie came back safe and sound from visiting his mean family during Christmas. I don't know if I could be with someone who actively chose the most cruel way to hurt me but "for my own god", I certainly couldn't just forgive it, but that's just me 🤷‍♀️ Babe was used, abused, hurt, never asked for his opinion, for what HE wanted by everyone around him, over and over again, and everyone knows it and everyone continues to use him and hurt him because they know they CAN and there won't be any consequences. When Charlie, beaming happily, announced the reason for faking his death and traumatizing Babe, and Babe was liked, oh ok, I thought to myself, haha, ok, guys, you know what, I actually envy you this simple life of yours. This scene confirmed only one thing for me: yep, Charlie and this pairing irritate me just as much now as at the beginning 😏

I don't know if I understood correctly, Jeff had a vision and knew that Way was going to die? As I recall, he tried to stop his previous visions from becoming reality, and now he did nothing? Can someone confirm this for me or have I missed something here?

So. PeteWay and PeteKenta have carried this series for several last episodes, these ships have been heavily promoted by the series and the show's cast. The ending of these ships with Way's quick death, which is not even about him but about Babe and the disappearance of Pete and Kenta from the plot, in my opinion, is an insult to their fans who have invested their time, energy and emotions in this series (this is not about me, I mean all those people whose hard work I furiously reblogged, I love you besties). It sort of looks like baiting now , I thought Thai BL series of all were above that 😄

Sending hugs and kisses to Pit Babe fans and fans of things that could have been 😘 As for me? I hope there will be a lot of content with Nut from now on 💖

Okay today I'm giving my honest opinion about Earth Spark season 2 part 1 :D and I still think it's shit :DDD

Before anything, there are gonna be spoilers, so please don't read it if you want to have opinion on your own or just have fun of watching :D

You may ask then, "why tf are you watching it then you stupid hoe", oh silly because I like make my opinion on something, and how could I shit about it if I didn't watch it???

And I will not repeat myself here about things I already complain about it, like graphics (but sometimes I had a feeling like I was watching cutscene from the fucking game on nintendo XDD), texture, this fucking stupid bitch hashtag, etc. but yk have it in mind

But to not being rude I will say something nice first! I like sometimes jokes, like I cringed while them much much more less than last season which is good thing, because few of them were somehow decent like this one with Breakdown and Aftermath which was really lovely to me XD (still hate those bitches as a characters but ykkkk)

Or when Splitfire is calling Megatron, Optimus and Elita old farts, she is fine when she is just sassy

Also as always Jawbreaker was cute, but's just Jawbreaker uwu

So writing, I think it's kinda random sometimes, and I still don't feel like what are they actually say nobody irl would do. Like they are making so much corny text about how they love each other and always saying something about family, and I'm like bruh, I never EVER heard any siblings even the most loving one say such a things.

I also think Robby became the most useless character there rn, like he didn't nothing important, and don't even let me start talking about episode fucking 8 because it's cringefest, and I needed to stop it every few seconds to take deep breath and continue

And why this stupid hoe Hashtag is managing his dating up, as we know he has complected relation with Elita which means they divorced, but never told anyone besides the closest ppl to them, stop her from doing that PLEASE, he is barely using internet

And I think everyone got stupider, because nobody expected that he will kill Aftermath and Splitfire for crystals and like Twitch didn't expected that chaos terran will fucking be a problem, when they literally call CHAOS TERRANS

But the most got it Soundwave and Shockwave pretty much, because they should be intimidating, and they are just fucking stupid to me

Besides how they build and found resources for such a high advance base and HOW American government didn't make a war with cybertronians after destroying G.H.O.S.T. there is no fucking logic to it.

Besides i feel quite lack of characters, because Nightshade was just background character, Shlouder didn't even talk with was just XD, Megatron was almost not there neither Elita, neither Grimlock, like I'm happy that Wheeljack became bigger part of this fr, but yyyeeeee

And Cosmo, like he was just for a little moment, where everyone had their dedicated episodes :CC

And the most is hard for me is lack of Twitch and Megatron relation, besides of this one moment

Because I'm like watching this show and torturing myself, mostly for them and I hope until the season 2 end we will get it more, because after they cancelled it, we will not get any more ep.

And to stop my bickering, over all for me this one small part had more good things than whole first season, but has lack of things that I'm watching this show for and Hashatag. . . this stupid-

I gave first season 3/10, so I thing fair would be gave it too 3/10, because of what I have said

Besides about the show cancellation, I think Hasbro doesn't know what is doing like rn they CANCELLED also transformers reactivate, and I hope it's just weird as rebrand not deleting almost finished game 🤡🤡🤡

Because it's looking like they are cancelling whole transformers franchise to me, and Ik they are rumors of making new cartoon and new things, but then what? They will cancel it again, again and again?

So In my opinion, if new transformers movie won't be a massive success, I'm not seeing bright future for transformers.

Regarding the My Fair Ed analysis below, I still think Ed and Eddy are assholes in that episode. Because they started just being kids, but then they were dismissive and uncaring of Double D's issue. In the start of the episode Double d tried explain the situation and eddy just answers: ''tell'em to stick it in hat''- he don't care about his friend being punished for his own mistakes. Soon, to get back at edd, they start deliberately hurting the kids so they can transfer the blame on edd. They were oblivious on the benniging, but so then start porpusely harming innocent people when they were supposed to just be aiming at edd.

Not to mention both Ed and Eddy consciously enjoying pain in eahc other through the pavlovian training (Ed saying ''naughty naughty, you watch yourself mister. Eddy ripping off one Ed's band-aid).

i guess my point is that eddy is always like that; he's always defiant and aggressive. eddy does what he wants and ed typically goes along with whatever eddy does. and in this case, they were just being silly and chasing each other. yes, at the end they're being needlessly destructive while trying to get back at double dee. but when was the last time those two stopped to take anyone's feelings into account before doing something? plus, what they did was pretty mild in comparison. with the exception of nazz, idk what they did to her 👀 i did say they're just barely below edd if i was gonna rank them.

the kids really are the worst here. they're all super annoying in this ep. they caught edd alone and went after him because he's an easy target that can't run very fast.

and then it's just interesting to me that double dee only wanted to modify their behavior when he got in trouble for it. he shouldn't have been blamed for what the other two do, but he does like to act like he's the moral compass of peach creek.

and again, he might've just reached a breaking point after two seasons of nonstop melee and mischief. BUT he admitted he was wrong for the way he went about trying to teach them manners. or as he put it, trying to change who they are.

what it boils down to in my mind is that edd doesn't really care what ed and eddy do until it affects him somehow. he'll often passively apologize for their actions or chide them, but never abandons them. i think he's more afraid of consequences for himself than worried that they might actually hurt someone or damage something. and i'm not saying edd is "bad", he's just edd.

ultimately i love eene because literally everyone is an asshole in one way or another. people often say the show is very "mean-spirited" and i agree, and love it.

most importantly, all this is just my dumb opinion. it's okay to disagree with me! i'm probably wrong anyway 🤡

My School President Ep 6 Stray Thoughts

Y'all, I just know I'm about to put on my clown makeup, so let me just go ahead and get it ready.

Last time, a jaded school counselor doused the naive optimism of a bunch of high school seniors, and inflicted massive doubt on Chinzilla. They took some time to reevaluate, and Tinn spent the episode helping rebuild Gun's self-confidence. Gun's mom collapsed at work, and he briefly considered giving up his dreams on music, before everyone came together in a lovely musical number. Finally, Tinn all-but-confessed his feelings to Gun, and I'm hoping I won't have to put on my makeup.

🤡 Gun doesn't know who Tinn has a crush on, and wants to play matchmaker. 🤡

BL shirt messaging of the day: "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone."

Oh no, Tinn is back to his fantasies and now they're harsh.

The interesting thing out of the badminton scene is that Win doesn't lord over Sound something he can do that he can't. Instead, he genuinely tries to teach him. Sure, he gets frustrated and yells at Sound, and it shows that Sound struggles with being seen as incompetent, especially when he's being berated about it.

I like the fantasy sequence of them laying on the bed together answering these questions.

Car violence continues to play a role in these shows. Determined to build a future where our transportation modes aren't so hazardous.

Fourth and Gemini played the emotional shifts of that bed scene really well.

Sound doesn't like to lose or be bad at things. He clearly practiced for a long time. Win also gives praise easily.

I don't know why Tiwson is dressed like this, but I am thankful.

Okay, I really love that everyone got life from that medal kiss, and now these two caught feelings.

The music cues in this umbrella scene are timed so well. I am leaning in so hard with the tension.

Excellent use of comedy after that scene. Gentle reminder of the kind of story we're in.

i hope this is about FAM bc there are 3 shows im currently watching that release on fridays lol

uhhhh well, all my previous asks aged like milk 🤡 i already read the spoilers for ep9 two days ago so i knew what’s coming :// that last margo x sergei scene broke me, i cried 🤪 sergei's delulus didn't come trululu.... also genuinely enjoyed that ed and kelly scene at the end, ed's character arc is really making sense to me now. but the rest…. idk season 4 is my least favorite season so far, i’ll be honest. i truly don't care about the mars crew and the asteroid. and i can’t say that reading about sergei’s death in the spoilers surprised me. it was upsetting at first, sure, but i still don’t get why would they bring him back for a few eps just to kill him, and why would irina do smth that risky. i found this whole plot line very annoying, it felt like i was watching some kind of torture porn, since most of the characters on FAM suffer through hell and never get their happy ending (except for ellen, good for her!). we never saw margo and sergei be happy together or live with each other, and it was very unsatisfactory to me that we only saw them long for each other and suffer just for sergei to die like that. i'm not saying they should have went to brazil (that plan seemed impossible from the very start) but those crumbs we got were not enough for me. i couldn’t even cry when he was killed bc i was just so DONE with everything. can’t even begin to imagine what margo’s gonna be like in s4 finale, it’s gonna be hard to watch 😭 she doesn't deserve this

Cuz like I didn't know the cast involved so thought it was a diff show and the next clip on TikTok was maybe of diff ep but really didn't help to connect the scenes which like yeah clips of an ep on the TikTok cut and edited in places to fit the time allowed on TikTok 🙃

I’ve yet to gif this ep’s spicy scene but maybe I shouldn’t do that when I’ve had 2 cups of glühwein and it’s already past midnight - the perfect conditions for another Big Dragon episode review.

To save me some time screencapping I just recorded the ep while I was watching it so excuse the subs. Or maybe they’ll even come in handy, we’ll see. I cropped them out for my gifs but I’m too lazy to do it here (I say but I’ve cropped out the gagaoolala logo 🤡).

This ep starts exactly where we left off last week (actually, there’s some overlap again - why are you doing this, Star Hunter? There’s only 8 eps of this show!) - only now we see some of Mangkorn’s perspective. It’s still pretty sketchy. I mean, you could have just... not let that girl half undress you while you told her you’re not interested.

But okay. You already said it, you and Yai are both womanizers and apparently old habits die hard.

But it’s Mangkorn’s face when Yai in his fit of jealousy hits far too close to home that really gets to me:

He’s looking almost pained. But of course, Mangkorn being Mangkorn, he’d just rather lash out instead. And Yai, being understandably hurt, doesn’t see it for what it is. He probably thinks Mangkorn is feeling guilty.

Which leads to Yai pushing and Mangkorn pushing back (it seems to be his favoured approach when it comes to Yai acting out).

And then, “If you want me to delete those videos, you have to come home with me.” Which at this point is a very convenient excuse, I guess, because Yai gets to ask himself the following:

Because, honestly, this is probably a lot easier to deal with for them than having to think about their relationship as a whole.

Coincidentally, Mos has said that for him the love scenes were easier to do than scenes in which he had to cry etc, since he could just get into the moment and “be” his character. He would be embarrassed before and after the take since there’s crew around but let go completely when the camera was rolling.

Plus, the camera work is gorgeous - all shaky and raw and in and out of focus, interspersed with light and shadow and spots of red.

I can see why this is Bank’s favourite scene.

I can hear LITA’s Rain screaming in the distance. Phayu would never!

It’s the next morning and the audience is literally wearing rose-tinted glasses. And so are Mangkorn and Yai. This has got to be their honeymoon phase (and look, the yin/yang carpet from the trailer makes its first appearance!).

I love how Mangkorn’s house - where he lives alone since his parents live out of town and don’t visit very often - is all cosy and warm. Compared to Yai’s condo it feels really inviting and personal, like he’s got it all figured out (spoiler: he hasn’t).

The product placement was of course kind of on the nose but unbearably cute. Plus, I’m addicted to Tao Kae Noi so I’m not even mad.

And I love the way Yai immediately gave in when Mangkorn mentioned his mother. I really appreciate how the dialogue in this show isn’t just surface-level. There’s so many things going on, especially since both Mangkorn and Yai are characters who say so many things with so few, conflicting, often hurtful words.

Which is why this honeymoon phase can’t last.

(Oh, and tbh I love how the blackmail video is more of a footnote in this ep. The less said, the better. But yay for showing us the cute MosBank sticker again 🥰 )

Mangkorn’s mum makes a really awkward 1-minute appearance just so she can embarrass her future son-in-law. And then, she just vanishes again because she’s a good mum and read the room (which will probably come up later, judging by next ep’s preview).

Next, Yai goes all overboard and decides to give the place a good dusting. Idk if it’s always this untidy or if he feels guilty for destroying at least two semesters worth of architecture homework. Park and Pong make a short appearance in all of their pink and blue glory but somehow it looks even more untidy when they leave.

But look at them in their little color-coded outfits. Cutest bodyguards ever!

And what is this?

Oh no, it’s the dreaded “maybe I’ll go abroad for a year” trope rearing its ugly head. Don’t do it, Star Hunter! There’s only 8 episodes!

I appreciate the continuous bj jokes, though (so this is what Mangkorn ordered for you?🥴).

Negl I honestly half-expected Yai to find engagement announcements in the drawer but of course that would have taken away from their fight later.

I’ll get to Hong and Nadear in a bit, please bear with me. Let me just say they’re unbearably cute with their matching bracelets 🥰

Then there’s this - the complete opposite of their Tao Kae Noi-sponsored breakfast (more yin & yang, I guess). And while maybe Mangkorn is right to say that Yai doesn’t listen, it’s really unfair for him to expect Yai to read between the lines when - and Yai is right about that one, too! - Mangkorn is keeping a lot of secrets. He keeps all of his problems to himself and just kind of stoically accepts them. Which maybe works with his family, but it doesn’t work with Yai.

And tbh it really got to me when he accused Yai of being selfish when Yai has outright offered his help no less than three times (once in the last ep) because he sensed that there’s something that’s worrying Mangkorn. Is he maybe naive for offering that help? Sure. But at least he’s reaching out.

Mangkorn is throwing “selfish” around like it’s an insult, like it’s really supposed to hurt - when, yeah, someone like Yai probably needs to be a little bit selfish in order to figure out what he wants. That’s not a bad thing.

I really feel for both of them. I feel for Mangkorn because he’s so used to going it alone and keeping his problems to himself, and I feel for Yai because he won’t face his problems (case in point: he later runs off again rather than facing his dad and his dad’s new gf).

But I’m glad that this time the uno-reverse card backfired on Mangkorn big (lmao) time.

It’s really convenient that P’Nine has a rooftop bar.

And look, it’s Tung!! 🥰 And his character is having the worst day at the job ever, but somehow he knows the exact song that Yai is going to sing.

I don’t even mind the singing, though, because I was a fan of ISBANKY the singer before I was a fan of Bank the actor so this is like, a major stan moment for me.

If it isn’t the consequences of your own actions, Mangkorn...

And again he just rather keeps to himself instead of reaching out. Have you learned nothing (probably not, there’s still 3 eps to go)?

It’s really tragic how Mangkorn triggered Yai’s bisexual awakening. He could have eloped with Nine years ago.

In this ep we have three couples seated at a table, with Nine and Yai being almost an exact repeat of Hong & Nadear, at least in the beginning. Only, while Hong immediately understands and gives in to Nadear, Nine misunderstands and tries to fix it by being his charming self.

And while Nine and Yai seem more relaxed compared to Mangkorn and Yai, Yai’s conversation with Nine remains superficial (and a safe space) while his conversation(s) with Mangkorn are anything but.

That being said, Nine remains the MVP for treating this cute little caterpillar like the most precious thing it is. He even carries it outside 🥰

The Crown S5E6 Commentary

Non Spoiler Thoughts: Not going to lie, this was a hard episode to get through because aside from the horrors of what happened to the Romanovs, it was a pretty dry episode and extremely filler. If you’re going to have a filler episode, at least make it as compelling as Mou Mou was. This was just pulling teeth. Maybe it’s just me. If you are into Russian history and the odd connection between Penny and Phillip, this one is for you. I just personally didn’t care for it because I wasn’t interested in the Yeltsin of it all, I only felt pain for the Romanovs and Elizabeth and Phillip having a weird marriage issue well into their 70s was odd to watch the least. If you do end up getting bored half way through the episode, feel free to skip it, you aren’t missing much.

I loved it. I'm still collecting my thoughts lol but yeah what a finale. It was a picture perfect ending which is exactly what I expected. I still think some of the stuff from episode 11 would've found a good place in this episode but I'm so happy with how they wrapped everything up. The coming out scene with the parents was arguably my favorite - nothing we haven't seen before but so so lovely 🥺

After the last few episodes the one thing I was hoping for is for Akk to pop out of his shell a little more and show that he's as much in this relationship as Aye is, which he clearly did in this episode and I loved it.

The only thing they could've done without was the movie thing because I still think that felt a little out of place and felt like a filler lmao, although them all watching it together at the end was adorable 🥺

Posting this almost at the last possible moment, but I want to put my predictions for the next three mains somewhere. Specifically so I can be held down to them lmao.

Now, I don't pretend to be all-knowing or anything. I've had a couple predictions be right, like I predicted that Beanie Boy would be Druck's Even (I was so sure about this that tumblr even screenshot my tweets at the time as like an extra guarantee lol), that Dani and Amira N wouldn't be endgame, and that Druck's wlw season wouldn't be s5 but s6. But then I also predicted that Nora G's season would have more than 9 episodes, and that Kasim would be Amira N's love interest. So you know, I haven't won 'em all. 🤡

So what I'm going to predict is whether Mailin, Anais and Elia will be queer in their seasons.

SKAM ITALIA

Prediction: Elia won't be queer. He'll be straight.

Odds: 99 to 1 I'm right.

Reasoning: In comparison to the other remakes, Skam Italia has been one of the least willing to change things up. And specifically when it comes to how male homosexuality is portrayed in media, characters who are attracted to men are quickly established as such. (I mean, there's a reason Jonas and Elias call Isak gay in s1 ep 2 even though we only get confirmation much later.) It is very rare for a male character who has only ever shown attraction to women to show attraction to men years into the run - the only example that comes to mind really is Castiel from SPN. And even in that case, he was immediately killed off. Add to that that no Skam version has had two gay dudes (or just two dudes into guys period) in the same friend group in any version, and that queering Elia at this point would necessitate a coming out sl (because general audiences see him as straight), which they've already done with s2 and... I just don't think Skam Italia is the show to do these things.

If I'm wrong: I will eat a Toast Hawaii, a gross German dish that @wodrueckts loves to torture me with.

SKAM FRANCE

Prediction: Anais will be straight.

Odds: 3 to 1 I'm right.

Reasoning: Truthfully, skamfr is so unpredictable that Anais could be revealed in her trailer to be secretly 30 and actually a secret agent going undercover in high school, or secretly have an evil twin who's been doing mean things when Anais is actually nice, or secretly be running a dog fight ring, and any other number of things, and I wouldn't even blink. The only reason I think it's unlikely that Anais will be into women is because, much to the showrunners' shock, I know Skamfr isn't the L word and won't focus on a wlw main two seasons in a row.

If I'm wrong: I think wlw Anais is slightly more likely than mlm Elia, so in this case, I will watch Robbe and Sander's shower scene changed my mind. Instead I will eat French Fries dipped in soft serve ice cream, just to make it eating challenges all around.

DRUCK

Prediction: Mailin won't be ace.

Odds: 1 to 3 I'm right.

Reasoning: I actually see a good case for Druck tackling asexuality with Mailin in s8, and I believe that if Jünglinge/Q3 had written all 4 gen 2 seasons, Mailin would've eventually come out as ace. The reason I think this new team might not do this, is because Druck got a lot more safe with s7 - no one ever said the words "non binary" in all of s7 after all. We also know Eren had to fight for some of the more overt expressions of gender non conformity, like the pronoun clip. And so, I could see the writers doing ace Mailin, but if it's not explicitly called out as such, the network could present it in such a way that it can be read by general audiences as inexperience, or low libido, or Mailin being a late bloomer. In short, I think there's a good chance that Mailin will be written as ace, and less of a good chance that this will be explicitly referred to as asexuality (via the words being uttered, or Mailin using an ace pin, or even posting the ace colors as like a row of hearts on her ig).

If I'm wrong: I recently came into possession of an imported can of Coke from the US, made with high fructose corn syrup instead of sugar. It tastes awful and I will drink all of it if Mailin explicitly comes out as ace in s8.

re-starting bridgerton season 2, now with a new mindset after a week trying to accept the fact that they completely changed everything about my favourite book of the series

i was watching while keeping the book in mind (bc, yknow, this was supposed to be an adaptation), but instead of this helping me understand the characters and what was going on in their heads better, it made me kind of assign them with thoughts and feelings they weren’t thinking and feeling (at least yet). the show seems to be a lot more slowburn than the book, not to mention the incredibly annoying love triangle plot they decided to shove in

i had to go after a lot of spoilers, which is usually not how i prefer to consume media, but i needed something to replace what i knew from the book with. it absolutely sucks when an adaptation would be best-enjoyed if you’d never read the source material, but, as a marvel comics fan and someone whose favourite book series is the princess diaries, i guess i should fucking be used to it by now 🤡🤡🤡

i’ve seen people complaining that hyacinth would be much more likely than eloise to be a proto-feminist but i have to disagree. eloise and hyacinth are extremely alike in some aspects, i can easily see both of them buying into proto-feminist philosophy. but they are also extremely different in other aspects, and this is easily seen on their respective bffs (best featherington friends).

the whole peneloise dynamic is that penelope always wanted to be at the center of high society, but was shunned - because of her lack of title, her more unconventional beauty, her mother’s impositions and attitude; while eloise has it all (titled father/brother, conventional beauty, mother/family who is not only beloved by their peers but are also loving and respectful towards her), but chooses to be where penelope was forced to. eloise is loud about her beliefs because doesn’t care for the (social) consequences. she hates it here, she wants out. no wonder she fucked off to the countryside the moment penelope got hitched, she wouldn’t last a second in london by herself.

hyacinth is completely different. her best friend was “the only featherington sister blessed both with natural beauty and charm” (penelope’s words). neither of them ended up on the shelf. hyacinth is just as smart, quick-witted and sharp-tongued as eloise, but, at the same time, both her and felicity know their way around high society way better than their older sisters ever could (lady whistledown notwithstanding). hya might as well agree with everything eloise thinks, but she goes an entirely different way about it. gareth accused lady danbury of “remaking [hyacinth] in her image”, but honestly she never had to. just like lady danbury, hyacinth is the type to see high society as a game, and it’s a game she’s going to win.

(and that’s why hyacinth stole eloise’s spot as my favourite bridgerton sibling in the books)

man i really want to know what kate was thinking while watching anthony dance. the book already starts with her knowing about his Rake reputation via lady whistledown (in fact, it’s the quote where the title of this episode comes from), even before they meet, so her first impression is already tainted. but here the slate is better than clean, they’ve already laughed together, so is she interested in him for edwina? for herself? dare she hope? maybe she’s interested in him for herself but doesn’t think she has a chance (not sure if this kate has as big self-steem issues as her book counterpart or if she’s just really focused on solving the marriage+money problems) and is lying to herself pretending she’s just scouting him out for edwina?

can’t get over how they spent all of season 1 with that siena drama only for her to not even appear on season 2

to think everyone was worried about them turning it into a siena/anthony/kate love triangle, and then they came out of left field with a edwina/anthony/kate love triangle and just ignored literally everything that happened to anthony on season 1

lmao and now that i think about it, i remember how people complained about anthony on td&i and it turns out he was originally written as having just inherited the title and julia quinn changed it last minute to edmund having died 10 years ago bc it would make more sense with what she was already writing on tvwlm. so with the tv series everyone thought we’d have a more likeable and cohesive anthony from the beginning......................

and then on season 1 they delivered the worst man i’ve ever seen in my life, truly acting like he’d just become viscount last year, having none of the beliefs and motivations and ideals and overall anything that he had on the books, and we were so sure they were changing his whole backstory................

and then on season 2 they completely ignored everything that happened on season 1 and basically the only thing that they kept from the book was anthony’s backstory....................

besides anthony, something they’re treating completely different this season is the whole concept of a diamond/incomparable. on season 1, it was a totally abstract concept that just described the lady who received the most calls (which i’m sure is a lot more closer to how it worked on reality), but on this season the queen is dangerously close to issuing a certificate, and everyone is acting as if it’s always been this way???
