HEY GUYS so I'm working on STUFF and for context before it gets posted (whenever that'll be lol) we're doing a bit of a retcon with Pack Noctifer.

Kase is trans now. (Yes, someday I'll be re-writing Teeth and Karma to make this well and truly canon). Most of the other pieces won't need to be AS re-written, because I'm seizing this retcon as an opportunity to work in a new piece of canonical Werewolf Magic: RiverSkin*.

RiverSkin is an ability that certain werewolves have/can learn (it is very hard to TEACH and many/most wolves straight up cannot do it). It boils down to a very fluid and easy ability to shift between human and werewolf form that eventually evolves into an ability to alter human features (hair color, sex characteristics, age, size, etc etc) at will and sometimes even take on other animal shapes. As of right now, Kase is the ONLY character who can do it in the current cast. Jasper can do it a teeny bit, to keep humans from noticing his healing factor (he's an amateur boxer for extra cash, he's gotta fake somehow). Caelum has a very "easy" shift between his forms, but he cannot alter his human form at will (side note, Caelum is the only member of the "cast" who's eye color does not change at all between forms).

Why did I do this, you ask? Because I answer to no one.

And also there's a mild...allegory in Pack Noc that's much more blatant and COMPLETE if I make this one change. AKA born werewolves being Cis and Bitten ones being trans. This is, for now, only going to extend to Pack Noc. They are, themselves, an overlapping allegory for...well, gosh, my internalized fears and bitterness about masculinity as a gay, disabled, severely mentally trans guy, if we wanna be UP FRONT with ourselves here! So, this ANOTHER allegory (or, no, they just become the same allegory, then? i'm UNTRAINED) works best for THEM.

Pack Animus exists more as a way to A)expand werewolf lore B) contrast Pack Noc with less toxic dynamics and C) provide more ingredients for my smut gumbo. THEY GET THEIR OWN ALLEGORIES.

*RiverSkin is an English translation of the British Isles American werewolf language. Other languages use different names or words to invoke high degrees of fluidity in form: some use words for 'snow' or 'grass' or 'pine needles' or even invoke the moon themself; others do not reference the skin, and instead call the gift A-Body-Like-Water or Blood-Weaving or The Actor's Trance, to name a few unique examples.

He's less than stellar sex life can't be the reason why he'd dare to do this. The 'student' in question is hot though, but still not worth his job. Notes: A lot of this fic was me just laughing at Marco, poor guy. Thank god Izou comes to the rescue—I'm pretty sure Marco wasn't gonna survive much longer. Ends with a sweet date and a night spent together!! Absolutely worth reading

Notes: I read this entire thing in a week. maybe less. (and finished it this morning!!) i am INSANE over the coldflash dynamic in this one. It's so good, so sweet, they're so in love and i want to cry. the plot is FANTASTIC i was hanging on every word. I can't explain how much i loved this—every single twist, every single moment of agony and happiness, there was no tearing me away from this. It is worth every single one of the 21 chapters and the 268,722 words within them. 1000/10. im never recovering. i need to leave five hundred comments once i regain brain function

I will be working on a series where Dabi, or more appropriately, Touya Todoroki, gets hit by a quirk that turns him into a cat. And when what should be a gorgeous, dark russian blue cat, but actually looks like a burnt piece of paper, appears on your doorstep and practically bullies it's way into your apartment, who are you to say no? Dabi/Reader.

I will be working on a one shot of comforting Shigaraki during a panic attack.

My submission to the MD-headcannon Time Travel machine.

Basically, it's a repulsor glove powered by the core of l a pure solver host. Ex: Cyn and a bunch of other OCs. Depending on the stability and power of the core, it'll take a certain percentage of power from the core to open a portal to whatever dimension whenever the user pleases. However, frequent use of the glove may weaken the user and may kill them if the core is not stable enough.

Fun Fact every werewolf has a slightly different relationship to their wolfside and it effects how they shift and how they behave in their pack + in werewolf society at large.

Let me come out and say, this part of the lore is influenced by World of Darkness (New World, Werewolf the Forsaken + VTR). Click under the cut for a whole bunch of Gay Autism.

First off, you have Jeremy. Jeremy is the newest werewolf in all of Moondrunk's cast: he's only been a werewolf for a few years. His relationship to his wolf is new too: he treats it like (and relates to it) as a parasite, or as an acute disability. He struggles against, resents it, feels a lot of shame towards it, and gets defensive when others question how he treats this part of himself. He sometimes says very harsh things about his own kind that are self-criticisms that come out twisted and hurt his community. Parallel this to how he relates to his bisexuality and to his attraction to Fletch, and contrast to....

Jasper, who lives in perfect harmony with his wolfside( though that harmony is largely physical). He relishes in the power and pleasure his wolf can bring him, and often finds it easy to shift when he's feeling excited or restless. Like Caelum, he thinks of his wolf form as his 'real form', and his human body a facade. He doesn't, however, give much thought to how his wolf influences his behavior and choices, unlike...

Caelum, who, unlike the majority of werewolves you'll meet (especially the born-and-bred aristocratic type) approaches his wolf intellectually. He spent years analyzing his behavior at different phases of the moon and in different stages of shifting; he's deeply familiar with the flesh-and-blood science behind their anatomy and brain structure, their hormonal production, their sociology. He barters with his wolf, makes it a thing of give and take. Balance, something he might have learned from...

Ronan is not unique to wolf-culture, but he is somewhat unique to Pack Noctifer. Because Ronan's relationship to his wolf is wholly spiritual in nature.
