working on godhood AU clothes and need thoughts and suggestions
starting with N tonight because I have the more solid vision of what I want his to look like
for him, I have two in mind, this one is formal wear of sorts. What he'd wear when going out of the bunker (presumably Uzi and V would have similar outfits. But I don't think they'd bother wearing them unless it were for a really important event)
possible medals for his lapel - some sort of highest honor one for saving the planet - maybe a badge specifically given to gods and saints - one for the dog reintegration project - maybe for teaching some of the worker drone how to pilot the spaceships?
suggestions for other medals welcome, along with opinions on which colors and possible adjustments to try out
I like the main colors, but also considering C or D to help further differentiate from his canon design

Ok so, current working timeline is that's about ~1500 years post canon events, (subject to change should the need arise) at minimum, 3-5 generations have come and gone, so it's really a matter of how long we think the average worker drone could live (probably depends on how long it would take for their hard drives, battery, or motherboards to fail)
no way Uzi, N, and V wouldn't do anything in that time. They did save the planet, so maybe they just chilled for a couple decades. But 1500 years? Uzi Doorman isn't going to sit still for that long
Maybe they did some exploring, went to other planets the solver destroyed to assess the damage, kept an eye out for stray worker drones and abandoned spaceships, maybe tried to fix up Copper 9 a little
all this to say, they 100% went to the dog planet at some point and brought a bunch back, and now there are a lot of dogs running around in the snow. I don't know how much the environment could heal in that amount of time, so they could very well be the only animals there at the moment
#murder drones#MD godhood au#I'd like to think N has a little pet project to make the planet suitable for more animals#but it is mostly hampered by the fact Copper 9 is currently a giant snowball

a thought has occurred
in the godhood au, imagine if a drone came to the bunker and Uzi asks what they want
and they just look at her and say "I'm here to see the tail"
devil worshiping drones, cept that the devil is god's tail so you have to ask robo-god permission to worship the tail
#murder drones#MD godhood au#“you know this thing tried to eat the planet a couple hundred years ago right?”#“yeah but they also killed all the humans. That was pretty cool”#“...fair enough”

One of the bigger parts of this idea I'm not sure about is who exactly is still alive 1500 years later
like Uzi, N, and V of course, and J is also a disassembly drone so her too. Nori also has the solver, so would make sense for her to still be around if the disassembly drones are
but then there's Khan, Lizzy, and Thad
so far, I think there's two ways to go about it:
option 1, being normal worker drones, they all grow old and eventually pass on, and the immortals just have to live with that
option 2, Uzi puts them through a similar procedure to what CYN did with the alphabet trio, but with less trauma and mutations. Basically, she infects them with the less version of solver that the disassembly drones were given, but doesn't give them the new limbs (unless they ask for a tail or something) option 2B, Uzi adds them to the solver hivemind after they die and can make holograms of them to chat now and then. They are still themselves, they just don't have bodies and their minds live in the solver cloud thing (this option leaves room for Doll to come back, since she got slurped by the solver and all)
on one hand, the first option gives some gravity/consequences to them living this long. They still have each other, but inevitably they have to watch loved ones leave them, and they have to just sorta move on after
but on the other hand, this is already a crack idea, so might as well have those guys still around. Happy ending, everyone lives forever. It could also be a situation where, the drone has to die first and come back as a zombie drone before the solver can be added to them. Meaning only some drones can be made immortal, and that it's really up to chance whether their software decides to spontaneously revive them (which would also fix the logistical problem of them making all their descendants and loved ones immortal, because if no one ever dies but are still having kids eventually you're gonna run out of room)
I lean slightly towards the first option because, as I said, consequences of immortality
but also I think 1500+ year old Thad and Lizzy would be really funny
#murder drones#MD godhood au#if they were to stick around#I figure they'd also hang out in the bunker and be seen a bit like saints#not as powerful as the others but still highly respected#maybe drones go to them to ask for minor blessings#like if you want your sports team to win the big game you bring a sports ball to saint Thaddeus for good luck#it should be noted NONE of them can offer actual magical blessings (I mean Uzi and Nori can do some solver stuff but other than that)#it's mostly just for luck#(also I know I said I lean towards the first option but I think saint Thaddeus of sports is selling me on option 2)

what
what if
what if J, made a little Vegas
like a drone casino so she can scam people out of even more money than she does with the MLMs

i kinda like how the godhood au came from me going “what if khan was into nori even more than canon” and then it it somehow turned to drone mlms
literally went from
imagine if, in the future, drones found the all the Doorman's little scribbles and doodles
to
hundreds of years in the future, J runs a tax evasion cult, Uzi is a god king with a Satan tail, N invented dogs, and V gifts people swords so she can watch them get killed by bears

Kinda just hit myself in the feels with the question of during the time the Khan is still around in the Godhood au that he starts declining in health that he'd still recognize Uzi in her eldritch form when she helps him around the bunk or catches him when falls. Telling her that she's grown into a big strong drone that he's proud to have as a daughter
everyone thinks Khan's gone insane, talking to random vents
but he and Nori know that's Uzi crawling around in there in camera eye form
#murder drones#MD godhood au#they already thought he was cringe for going to parent teacher conference over going to work#so might as well double down

Do you think be robo God makes you a tax exempt entity?
Wonder if Khan still canonically commit tax fraud and tries to get Uzi to help him evade it.
Then if in the Godhood au if J just crashed at their place whenever she ran into any legal issues or had to pick somewhere for house arrest while all her assets were frozen
I feel like in the beginning, the first few decades where they'd be seen more as heroes rather than full on gods, they'd still be charged taxes
but somewhere down the line, either a few drones would complain that the heroes/gods were being taxed, or some tax collector would just quietly stop sending them reminders to pay
so by year 40-whatever they haven't been required to pay anything for a while
N still sends the robo-IRS some money every now and then (they have a decent amount of money gifted to them pretty regularly, so might as well) it's not adjusted for inflation, though, so it's a lot like grandpa giving you a nickel to go buy yourself a candy bar
(all of J's followers 100% do tax evasion, though)
#murder drones#MD godhood au#I imagine he gives more money to others out of charity#he just hasn't considered the fact that taxes would raise by a LOT over the course of several hundred years#“how much would an electricity bill be? like 20 bucks? yeah that sounds about right”

So I had this realization about something in the godhood Au.
Doll.
Considering the fact that Because Uzi ate CYN’s Core who ate Doll’s Core Doll is still in some way in Uzi after all of these decades.
So I like to think that Every so often Doll tries to take some control over Uzi’s body but it just results in her talking Russian which didn’t start until 100 years after Episode 8. By 1300 years Uzi is just used to Doll’s attempted Hijacking that she’s just an annoyance as much as CYN is. Also at some point between that time Uzi gave N,V,Lizzy and Thad each an English to Russian translation in their systems in case she does it while talking to one of them.
Not sure if Uzi would need to give them translators, since all the English-speaking drones in the series already appeared to understand her and vice versa
I can't recall if I wrote it in a post yet, but I have been playing with an idea. That Uzi could use the solver's hologram abilities to let the dead drones, who have been added to the AS hive-mind, visit the land of the living. Sort of like her calling on their ghosts to come have a chat
I don't know if she'd let the mortal drones know she can do that (could easily lead to thousands of them coming by every day asking to speak to so-and-so dead loved one, and she's already busy as is) but I could definitely see the occasional drone getting a weird "prophecy" in Russian
was Doll trying to give them some advice? was the solver tail trying to trick them? did robo-god just want to flex the fact that she's bilingual for a sec?
a mystery that has baffled drone scientists and (people who study prophecies/religious texts, I'm not sure the exact word for that in this context. Theologian? Haruspex? Augur?) for centuries
legend has it, if you go to the gods seeking help with vengeance. The host, Uzi, may speak to you in a forgotten voice in a Russian tongue. And she will tell you to abandon your quest for revenge and go home. If a drone insists on continuing their plans, all she will say is to dig two graves
#murder drones#MD godhood au#cuz like they're not giving or receiving the prophecy personally just studying past ones#so I'm not sure if the word prophet really applies#also non sequitur-#when I was looking up those possible words I learned the word of the day for dictionary.com is “spancel”#which is pronounced as you'd expect it to be “span-suhl”

Was thinking about the God hood au and that Uzi would definitely decide to get a true/eldritch form that's her own spin on it.
Maybe it would be like that one design for AM in that Hate Monolog animatic or some anime monster reference? Or instead she chooses to be incomprehensible shapeshifter
If a visitor ever gets too annoying, she pulls out the horror form to get them to leave, like-
"Oh nooooo, looks like we've talked for so, SO long that I've run out of energy to maintain this form. You should leave before I revert to my true form, which will melt your CPU if you look upon it. Come back after I rest for likeeee 3... 5 years, give or take"
#murder drones#MD godhood au#“anime monster reference” first things to come to mind are parsyte and those blood c rabbits#maybe something junji ito inspired

For the godhood au I think most of them would be wearing lounge wear while in the bunker the way papa titan does
With N having embroidery on a robe that just a really goofy dog doing something cool and a cap V made for him
The thought about their outifts did cross my mind
I mean, it's been several hundred years, even if they didn't want new ones, those other clothes would have disintegrated after being worn that long. So they've all likely had to change to new default outfits a few times.
perhaps they all have something formal/semiformal they wear when they leave the bunker. But then, back home, dress are comfortably as they want. The workers outside likely bring then clothing as tribute on occasion. So I think it would be funny if one of them got something either really fancy, or really "divine robe"-y, and they wear that to lie around in. Because at this point they have no reason to care about wrinkling a fancy suit jacket
need to give the exact styles of each of them some more thought, though. But I do think it would be nice if each one had at least one hand-made part of their outfits that one of the other two made for them
currently thinking, a shawl for Uzi made by N
a scarf for V made by either Uzi or N
and maybe a sweater? for N made by Uzi I'm not 100% sure with his what the exact thing will be. But Uzi made it, and didn't do a great job since it was her first attempt, but he still insists on wearing it all the time
#murder drones#MD godhood au#Uzi working to master knitting so she can make something better and her dorky partner can stop wearing that godawful thing she made#(he will not stop he will wear it till it turns into a frayed ball)#let N make a scarf that he adds a new row to every year#it started off normal-sized after a few years#but is now just needlessly and comically long#I think I said 4570 at some point for the year?#so even if he only adds an inch every time it would still be 100 plus feet

Listening to Big Town Banky Blaine's Rockabilly BBQ got me thinking about the Godhood au again.
Like if J would open a cult restaurant to feed her and whatever members that need oil, then somehow branched into would she ever have a right hand man assisting her during all of this. And would she have to get a new one every couple of decades or would she convince Uzi to make them practically immortal
Uzi's definitely very hesitant to revive/extend the lives of many drones already, and while the main group is now more neutral with J, I don't think she'd be willing to do her that favor at the 1500-year mark
so J would have any close cult members die off and have others take their places over the years
I feel like it's also worth noting that a big part of why the main cast is on better terms with J is because her villainy has gradually calmed down over the years. Her only real motive for being a mass murdering planet destroyer was because she saw the solver as an inescapable threat and that the only way to survive would be to obey it. We see as much during her fight with V. J would rather have V join her on the "winning team" than fight her
So with both the solver and any human masters gone, she wouldn't have a reason to do that anymore. But, bad habits die hard and she has done a lot to the main trio Luckily, these guys have all the time in the world to heal, apologize, change, and forgive
She definitely starts off doing a lot of bad (see crusades, MLM cult, and drone Vegas). but over time it shifts from planetary threat more to reoccurring cartoon villain. That the heroes may have seen as a threat in the past, but in the later seasons see as more of an annoyance at worst and are willing to hang out with at best. (she's like Bowser, she's still doing crimes, but she also gets invited to play golf)
said restaurant likely started as a front but eventually grows to be a legit business
give it a few hundred more years and her worst crimes will probably be those of a slightly greedy business owner, and her cult will be less of a cult and more of a legit conglomerate/sect of worshipers
it's like a mafia boss slowly deciding to stop doing organized crime and family starts doing legitimate business instead
#murder drones#MD godhood au#year 5000 rolls around and Uzi finally agrees to make one of J's followers immortal#and she gets a little buddy for life#hell yeah character growth and becoming a better person#I mean it takes her 2000 years but still-#one year J decides to throw a holiday party for the first time and the cult members treat it like the resurrection#it's one of the most dull parties ever but every second and tiny detail of it is meticulously recorded

Would Thad install skate ramps, rails, and basketball hoops in his church that he'd run in the Godhood au?
At the start of each service he just ollies down to the podium and does a slam dunk before he lands
every service at the church of Saint Thaddeus the Cool carries the energy of a 90's toy commercial
Thad rolls in teaches a few important life lessons, maybe goes over a story about solver war misadventures, then he plays basketball with some of the kids
I'm picturing something between church and a YMCA. The building probably started off as just a rec center/GYM run by Thad. But as the decades passed and his position as a "saint" solidified, drones kept coming to talk to him about the solver and main trio, and to ask for blessings and advice. So, at some point, he turned one of the rooms into a sort of cathedral so he could hold services. I mean if a bunch of drones are coming to you for advice and questions, might as well try and put them on the right path yeah?
Don't think he'd see it as a church the same way the younger drones do. I mean, he's known Uzi, N, and V personally for several decades at this point. Would feel weird to start treating them as these larger than life untouchable beings. Like, imagine if one of your own friends suddenly gained superpowers and a cult formed around them. Really cool that they can do space science magic now, but worshiping them as being a higher being? After you witnessed them having daddy issues in the nurse's office and drawing little doodles of their boyfriend in class? Bit of a hard sell But, he knows he won't be able to stop the younger drones from doing it. So he just tries to make sure they turn out as good people
I'd imagine Lizzy and Thad share a church, mostly because I don't see Lizzy being interested enough in spreading the good word of Uzi to run her own
so instead, she helps Thad out at his occasionally tells stories that mainly involve V or times that Uzi killed people
but if you catch her on a good day, she'll tell you about times like the prom and final battle where the purple freak actually did good (but like, don't tell her she said that. Totally embarrassing)
#murder drones#MD godhood au#it's like a live action version of those GI Joe PSA cartoons#teach the kids not to play with matches by showing a really cool guy put out the fire#saint thaddeus the cool#if he acknowledges they exist but doesn't worship them as gods does that make him an atheist priest?#despite the depth this AU is reaching I'm not well versed in religion outside of mythology#maybe after enough time passes Liz would bring up Doll on occasion#probably wouldn't get into too many details about what she did after the bunker got broken into though

more godhood AU rambling
while thinking of what the trio would get up to in 1500 years and an interesting idea came to mind
so, with all the humans gone, J, N, V and the solver are the last beings around that were on Earth before it got destroyed. Also, after that generation of old drones we see in canon are gone, no one on Copper 9 accept for those 4, Khan, and maybe Nori, will remember being on a planet that isn't just snow, ice, and dead trees (till of course they get some spaceships up and running, but I digress)
now, we've already established that N brought the immortal dogs back, but who's to say he has to stop there?
idea is that N makes it a personal project to work on bringing other animals back to the planet, and that V decides to do the same with plants. So, the two work together with some worker scientists to make the planet habitable to organic live again
I'm not sure how much progress they'd be able to make in 1500 year. It's a long time, sure, but this planet has had like 5 holes punched through its core. That kind of climate disaster is gonna take some time to fix
but I like to think that, eventuality, after spending years at the manor seeing all these plants and animals in books. The two get to see them in their new home as Copper 9 heals
#murder drones#MD godhood au#in the meantime#maybe they keep a botanical garden/zoo protected by air locks to make whatever structure it's in suitable for life#filled will all kinds of flora and fauna from different planets#and as a result of all this the two “angels” after often associated with plants and animals respectively
