So today I bumped on this post and wanted to share some thoughts on the subject, but the account I reblogged it from seems to be off now so I lost my post and no one sees it. Still want to keep it, so...

Sorry, with all respect, but I just don’t get it. Like … WHY should we stop asking them about the thing they actually play? What exactly so bad happens to them if we do? By the thing I mean Haladriel as a ship. They play it. Literally.

Come one, it's obvious the show itself launched the ship. Intentionally, using all classic cinematic tools to make the exact romantic subtext visible to the audience (like gestures, poses, camera angles, looks eyes to eyes, sensual whisper) so we could definitely read it as romantic even if they refuse to confirm it openly. (Due to the possible unhinged reaction of the lorebros, I’m sure) So basically the show implied romance between them from the beginning, and now since they are stepping back, we just have to be ashamed to ask questions? Surely the actors give more interviews then the showrunners, because they are the faces of the characters, their representatives, they could give you the insight no one else could give since they play it and are the most involved in their personalities and emotions. They should be able to explain their motives and thoughts. This is how the acting craft works, they must FEEL the character. This is why for fans, hearing actors discuss a ship is like hearing the characters discuss their own feelings.

See what I mean? Typical romantic cinematic hint.

So again why shouldn't we ask them? why not let the actors talk about their interpretation? Miriel and Elendil's actors shouldn't be asked about them too, or it only concerns Morfydd and Charlie for some reason?

For god sake we all know the ship is doomed, there will be no future, but still the show revolves around them, even in the end of s2 he still mentioned she's his queen. But there was not enough interaction, mostly ambiguous one that we have to explain and develop ourselves, so why should we be deprived as well of their vision and of any extra detail we would like to know from the first hands? | don't feel like it.

And I think people just need to stop decide for the actors how they feel and being overprotective over literally nothing. Shipping is a part of any fan culture. And the actors are not made of glass, they actually are even supposed to speak out. Once again: the show presented and developed the ship. The actors play the characters of this ship. They play the feelings we all see. They are aware of the subtext. They do not feel ashamed to play it. They are not ashamed to play those characters. So we don't have to be ashamed to want to know more about what they play, what they mean and what is their vision on it. There is no harm being caused.

I actually miss good all days when the actors were not considered this sensitive. like for example during the promotion of the X-MEN both Mcavoy and Fassbender got unstoppably asked like million questions about their MAGNETO/XAVIER (Cherik) ship, they were shown fanarts and fanfics, even the explicit ones, they even had to read out loud some about themselves (yeah-yeah, not their characters, but specifically real-person ship aka FassAvoy). No one got offended. One can say they even encouraged it. Homosexual ship. McAvoy was married at that time. Still they were goofing around, touching each other and hugging all the time, talking about their character bromance and generally spreading fanservice all over the fandom. They were having fun alongside with the fans. This was gold.

By the way the same story with their characters: they are a protagonist and a villain , two opposites with sort of cosmic connection, they just won’t let each other go peacefully. There is love, hate, friendship, rivalry and pain. Some fans see them as a friends/foes, shippers like me see them as lovers. This ship is giant, and thank for the actors interaction and involvement into the fandom it just got deeper and much more exciting.

Highly recommended to explore.

I watched xmen like last month and I'm HOOKED on Cherik. I keep seeing these interviews or like gifs of interviews but I cannot find them anywhere and I'm tweaking out bc I need ALL THE JAMES AND MICHAEL CONTENT INJECTED INTO MY BONES.

Part of me wants to save every interview and then make a big list of them to share out to all my fellow Cherik individuals who want the content too but I ain't good at keeping up with these things. For now I'd like to ask if you guys (whoever sees this) could send me links to any interviews, I'm planning to save every single one to a yt playlist or just my notes if it's not on yt and then I may make the list at some point <3

It’s late in the evening, and Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr are still deeply engrossed in their work. The quiet of the villa is only interrupted by the soft rustling of leaves in the wind and the occasional sound of papers being shuffled. Both men, deeply involved in discussing their next steps for their mission, lose track of time.

But their girlfriend, Y/N, can no longer ignore the yearning she feels. A seductive smile plays on her lips as she decides to take the evening into her own hands. Dressed in nothing but a bra and underwear, she focuses her energy and teleports herself instantly in front of the two men.

When she suddenly appears before them, with a playful sparkle in her eyes, Charles and Erik abruptly stop talking. Their eyes widen for a moment before both break into amused smiles.

Charles can clearly sense Y/N’s thoughts and desires, and it excites him immensely.

Erik, always the one to cut straight to the point, lets his eyes wander over her body. “Feeling needy, huh?” he says with a rough, deep laugh. “Well, we shouldn’t keep you waiting.”

Y/N grins, taking both men’s hands, and teleports them directly into the bedroom. As they move through space, the heat between them rises quickly. Her lips find Charles’, then Erik’s, as their hands roam over each other’s bodies, hurriedly discarding their shirts. The movement is seamless, and before long, Charles and Erik are standing in front of her in nothing but their boxers.

With a low growl, Erik grabs Y/N again and pushes her back onto the bed, while Charles leans over her and presses his lips passionately against hers. Their hands glide over each other’s bodies, tearing away the last bits of fabric until they are all naked, the heat between them unbearable.

“No time to waste,” Erik murmurs, his eyes glinting dangerously as he positions himself behind Y/N.

Charles nods, his hands traveling over her breasts and stomach as he slowly places himself in front of her. “Ready?” he asks softly, though the lust in his voice is unmistakable.

Caught between the two men, Y/N can only tremble with anticipation. “Yes,” she breathes, and that’s all they need.

Erik thrusts deeply into her from behind, and at the same time, Charles moves forward, sliding into her as well. Y/N moans loudly as both men bury themselves deeply inside her at once. The sensation of being filled by both men steals her breath, and her body immediately responds to the sheer intensity of their movements.

The two men quickly find a brutal rhythm, their movements perfectly in sync. Y/N can do nothing but cry out, her body taken from both sides. Erik, positioned behind her, thrusts into her with force, his hands gripping her hips tightly, while Charles’ lips are on hers, driving deeply into her from the front.

Her moans fill the room, her hands clutching at both men desperately as she is overwhelmed by the passion. Charles’ hands travel from her body to her neck, while Erik roughly presses his lips to her nape, and she feels her body twist under their double touch.

“Charles… Erik…” she moans loudly, her legs trembling with tension. The pressure inside her builds rapidly as both men move even faster.

“We’re almost there,” Erik growls from behind, his breath hot against her ear. His movements become faster and harder, and Y/N feels her entire body shaking with desire.

Charles, his face filled with pure devotion, leans forward, his lips finding Erik’s in a deep, lustful kiss as they continue to drive into Y/N in perfect harmony. The passion between all of them becomes an intense fire that consumes every one of their senses.

Y/N feels the climax crash over her, and she screams out both of their names as the wave of pleasure fully overtakes her. Her body tenses, and she feels her muscles pulse around the two men as she reaches her peak.

Charles follows just a few seconds later, his hands tightening on her hips as he thrusts deeply into her one last time, quietly moaning her name. At the same time, Y/N feels Erik tense within her, a deep, rough growl escaping him as he releases into her as well.

Exhausted and overwhelmed by the intensity of the feelings, Y/N collapses between the two men, her chest rising and falling heavily as the aftershocks of her climax still ripple through her body.

Erik pulls out and falls back onto the bed, a satisfied smile on his lips. Charles remains leaning over Y/N for a moment longer, gently kissing her forehead and brushing the hair out of her face.

“You’re incredible,” Charles whispers, while Erik lets out a soft, approving hum.

“That was exactly what we needed,” Erik murmurs, turning onto his side and pulling Y/N into his arms. Charles settles in on the other side, and together, they lie back, exhausted but content.

XM:A and XM:DP might not have been great movies but they were great movies, with so much potential.

The cast was absolutely top notch, and I’ll forever be grateful that the alternate universe version of the X-Men gave us McAvoy and Fassbender as Cherik.

It really sucks that things were derailed when they started with such promise and I really wish someone brings that cast (or at least those two) back for more (and does cherik better this time). I don’t think the MCU will do them justice (as much as I love it, their characterisation is inconsistent, and I don’t want that to happen to the X Men), but I hold out hope.
