Mei~! Meicoomon debuts in Digimon Adventure Tri and dark evolves into Raguelmon. Meicoomon (Unknown-attribute) is known as the partner Digimon to Mochizuki Meiko. In the film series, Raguelmon fuses with Ofanimon: Falldown Mode to become Ordinemon, the final antagonist of the series.

I know I'm all about to ditch Bandai's romanizations of certain digimons like Holsmon, Huckmon, Maycrackmon, etc...

But I can't can't come into calling Lekismon into Rexmon.

If you don't know, Lekis is a corruption of "Rekisu" → "Rex". Because the mon is based on a rabbit breed called Rex.

And I only associate the name "Rex" with dinosaurs AND dogs named like this. Yes, i'm aware Rex is Latin for King.

i been getting into the digimon tcg and beyond just that like every card's art is aggressively sensual,

i like that they aren't releasing 10000 cards a month and not playtesting them and seem robust and active in their ban/restriction list

what i'm saying is thassa's oracle would not even make it to the print stage in the digimon tcg i think fuck thassa's oracle my god go play solitaire somewhere else

i'm liking purple yellow for its "fuck you also my graveyard is my hand" bullshit i like in black/blue in magic

Kalto woke up and rub his head as he groan feeling like he had a headache, got out of his bed as he went over to his bathroom to see himself in the mirror. Freaked out a bit to see he looked like a digimon, not know how did this happen he went to go get Melissa to see if she knew what happen. Course he hit his head on the door frame and rub it “…damn it what happen to me.” He said to himself.

Melissa and Kalto have been together for a long time now and they have had tons of well, sex ever since they met, now the Meicrackmon approached him as she noticed that he suddenly had a Garurumon form instead of his human form "What happened to you master?" She asked him now as she looked him over "You turned into a digimon as well?"

I tend to treat Meicoomon as a member of the Gatomon family because it follows one major hallmark of the family: Digivolving into a feminine humanoid.

Gatomon is the obvious one as her becoming Angewomon is easily the most famous

Equally as famous is BlackGatomon > LadyDevimon

Next up is Mikemon > Bastemon, fairly well known in its own right

Then we got Meicoomon to both iterations of Maycrackmon who is presumably meant to be a nod to Mei’s fellow felines and predecessors

Last but not least we got an oddity: Opossummon > Cho-Hakkaimon

I wanna take a moment to talk about Tailmon/Gatomon subspecies.

The classic three are the vaccine type Tailmon, the virus type BlackTailmon and the data type Mikemon.

I've talked more in-depth about Mikemon's history in a post before, but let's quickly review each of these guys' debuts.

Tailmon was introduced in Digital Monster Ver. S for the Sega Saturn in late 1998 and had its V-Pet, Card Game (Hyper Coloseum) and Anime debut shortly after in 1999. BlackTailmon was first seen in Hyper Coloseum's Starter Set Ver. 4 in 2000 and in Digimon World Digital Card Arena for the Playstation just later that year. Mikemon's debut followed in 2002 through the D-Scanner Toy and first appeared in Hyper Coloseum in the same year.

As of BT-12, with the addition of Mikemon, each of them is also represented in the current Digimon Card Game.

While these three are already 20 years old by now, there have also been more recent additions to the family.

I believe BlackTailmon Uver. being part of the family is pretty obvious. Meicoomon might seem a bit more far-fetched, but there's been evidence to suggest they're related.

Meicoomon has been featured along with the Tailmon family twice on the Digimon Web Twitter in celebration for 猫の日 neko no hi (cat day, 2/22). It is of note here that other cat themed Digimon were not included. It is also on the BT3 card of Tailmon, along with Mikemon.

Meicoomon's type has been stated as Unknown for the most part, but as Free in the Digital Monster Ver.20th. In that V-Pet, Nyaromon and Plotmon are used as pre-evolutions for Meicoomon. Recolors of these were shown as Meicoomon's pre-evolutions in the obscure Shabette Concier App Skin: "Mytserious DigiTama". This could suggest the unnamed Baby and Child Level of Meicoomon to be subspecies of Nyaromon and Plotmon with the same name.

Meicoomon's Digitama was also included as the final Digitama to hatch in the Digimon Adventure tri. promotional nade nade game. You can see that it is nearly identical to Tailmon's. The game even uses the same pattern, just flipped, but with darker color.

It is worth mentioning that the Digitama were displayed in black and white in the nade nade game. Tailmon's Digitama is the bottom right one on this screen.

Furthermore, Meicoomon's vaccine evolution's final stage, Rasielmon, has the trait "Throne" which previously has been exclusive to Ophanimon. (More on Angel Digimon here)

All this points to Meicoomon being intended to be a part of or closely related to the Tailmon family.

Bandai Namco has released new Digimon World: Next Order information and screenshots, introducing new Digimon (including the brand new Boltbautamon), new story, new dungeons, and more.

Armageddemon

Armageddemon is a powerful Mega form Digimon that you will discover during a brand-new dungeon in the Dimensional District. Once you complete Story Mode, you will have to defeat him to save the Digital World.

Meicoomon and Maycrackmon

Meicoomon and Maycrackmon, both from Digimon Adventure Tri., are also joining the Digital World for new adventures.

Network Battles

Players can experience Network Battles thanks to the Dimensional Box at Jijimon’s house. Face other players in a retro atmosphere and gain points from your fights to unlock different kinds of rewards.

Free Post-Launch DLC

After the release of the game, players will be able to enjoy new content thanks to free downloadable content. Piedmon, Myotismon, and the fearful Boltboutamon are all joining during a new, mysterious event. Several other events, involving different Digimon such as Piedmon, Tukaimon, or Sorcermon, will also be available.

Digimon World: Next Order is due out for PlayStation 4 in Europe on January 27, in North America on January 31, and in Japan as Digimon World: Next Order International Edition on February 26.
