for a little background, life for reader hasn't been easy. they live paycheck to paycheck trying to make a living for themselves but they weren't interested in being an overlord and its pretty hard to climb the latter to success in hell. they live in a shitty apartment, which is livable 'till the exterminations.

in pt 2 im gonna write a bit about the exterminations and how readers financial instability led her to this unfathomable "relationship" with Vox (maybe idfk guys jioewu4fkbj).

vox reallllyyy manipulated reader into being with him. keep in mind, he had observed her for a while non-stop, he knew that readers living situation was a sorce of insecurity in their life and knew exactly how to use that against them. most of the things that vox does are meticulously planned to get what he wants in one way or another.

if reader hadn't accepted his deal, oh he fs would've force-hypnotized them into being with him.

i had a whole scenario written out where that happened actually, but i thought it wouldve been more interesting if Vox had manipulated reader to show off the power dynamics between the two. yeah reader thinks vox is fucking crazy but what were they supposed to do? Vox could easily get them to do whatever he wants anyways, hence the non-con that would have occurred.

i got a wee bit sick to my stomach writing out that sequence and how gut-wrenching reader felt afterward so i scrapped it bc omg i wanted to barf ajwhdajd.

I just love the way this Fandom is so respectful towards jimin. I love how they made a whole au out of the hate jm was receiving after tweeting "Fans are getting brave watch me write their fav chock on yg's dick" damn. The kind of Fandom jimin has and people wonder why his fans are more protective towards him cause if left up to the Fandom this is what goes on here. You write a fic out of it.

I'm pretty sure the fic was in response to the protect BTS accounts and the fans getting up in arms about policing fanart, fanfic and any/all nsfw accounts. Not any hate that Jimin is getting in particular. It was a yoonmin fic because they are a yoonmin ship account. What else would they write? And honestly, people DONT get to police other people art. That protect account ISN'T protecting anyone or doing the right thing.

There is enough hate and death threats (?!?) going on that everyone wants to get up in arms about policing fandom now?? People are saying no fancams? Or concert streams? No fanart no fanfic? I learned recently that some baby ARMYs have started discourse that even having a bias is bad and makes you not OT7. Do you understand how insane all this fandom policing is?

BTS enjoys it themselves too. If you don't like the fandom, don't like participating in what the fandom is, don't. Don't do it, don't engage with it. But you don't get to try and change it and police others. Jimin's own back tattoo literally came from a fanart that could've been considered NSFW by some. BTS saw it, and Jimin loved it enough to actually put it on his body for real forever. Baby ARMYs haven't experienced the fandom enough to have discourse over it, that bias thing is so upsetting and ridiculous.

Let them "fight back" against the fandom policing anything NSFW in a silly au fic that doesn't harm anything or anyone. If you don't like it, don't read it. But that wasn't about all the other hate Jimin has been getting. Although I guess I can't know that for sure, but you could always comment and ask them what hate they are responding to instead of assuming the worst because you don't like the phrase "have your fave choke on some dick" (and not in a hateful way but a sex way). I went and found that tweet too. I read the short au, not something I would ever seek out, read again or normally engage with, I have no interest in their account, but the fic itself had nothing bad in it at all either.

Just for you because I love you, I will give you a big break down.

When in 2025 can we expect their debut?: KoW, KnoW, 10oP. It seems like they will try to debut them in what feels like an off-season for kpop/less groups having activities during this time. Leo season, specifically the August leg of Leo season. I would say, honestly watch out for all of the fire sign birth seasons. If not this, Capricorn season if there is delays, or possibly October if it is cold?

Can we expect any international members?: 8oC, likely not. But it feels like maybe their lineup is not fully decided yet? There is at least one or two hopefuls right now who may be able to use his "aura" to earn his place.

What will their debut be like thematically/aesthetically?: Temp, Chariot, KnoC, 9oW.

It seems to be giving some things related to bravery, youthful spirit, and growth. So I wouldn't be surprised that they would plan for starting young and "maturing" through their concept. I also will say, even though they may master the art of a title track, I think they may have invested some work in their more somber music and/or b-sides. Just based on how it looks, I'm hopeful for it to be different than what we have seen before. Besides my personal thoughts, I can feel certain that it gives off that they will try to embody the wild young person vibe and the ups and downs they go through. Nawt to be shady, but it definitely smells like they were created to be direct competition to a specific group(s).

It seems like they overall will be received well, BUT we may see a controversy try to stop their motion. There could be a scandal that comes about, possibly stemming from someone or a whole organization jealousy/whatever trying to stop the show before it really happens. I do have a feeling though that it will be handled pretty masterfully almost accidentally, in a way that we aren't used to YG responding. Something like they address it quickly and by circumstance, someone would release information in retaliation to the accuser? I'm hearing "unpaid fees" or maybe even bullying. It seems like it will leave the public with good-ish feelings. Like some people would want to see what the next comeback or content is like before they feel comfortable "committing" or despite their excitement mellowing out, they will still be interested. I will also say, there is a low chance, but still a chance that YG could fumble the bag by acting too quickly and removing someone(s) in an attempt to save face. Seems like a lot. I found it interesting that jimin knew for sure that jk was still with him at the dorms but couldn't confirm whether yoonjin were there too. Seems like a detail you'd recall I feel, unless you were spending a majority of your time with one person. And if we are to go by your timeline it does seem that even after moving out jikook seemed to have made a deliberate choice to take the same car on multiple occasions. I do think there was a period in mid 2021 and early 2023 where jkk were maybe not seeing each that frequently based on some of their conversations, but this docu has really made me re evaluate a lot of these assumptions.

Since 2020, we have gotten almost 1/3 the amount of behind the scenes ot7 content and that definitely had an impact on many peoples assumptions on the members relationships. It's why certain "groups" felt more confident in proclaiming that jikook were never close or only fanservice.

Tkkrs and their cult leaders will never stop in their attempts at undermining jikooks relationship with false narratives. It's something I didn't understand the need of when I first entered shipping spaces because if you believe tkk are real and in a healthy relationship, then why would assuming jikook are close friends, in any way would come in the way of that? Why did jimin need to be the villain in their theories so bad? It's only now that I kinda get that as a tkkr, they can't possibility perceive that tkk are in a 'genuine and healthy' relationship if they have to take jikook at face value. Cause the way those two interact and prioritise one another, does really throw tkkrs off gaurd. Which is why so much of their belief and foundation hinges on all of jkks interactions being fake and forced and jk secretly hating jm. Because the alternative cannot be that they're 'close friends" for them, once they start 'really seeing' jikook for the way they are around one another, it disturbs their perfect ideal.

I have listened to Babymonster's Sheesh so you don't have to.

NMIXX made AESPA sound like Mozart. Babymonster makes NMIXX sound like Vivaldi. It's not a compliment. I understand YG want lightning to strike twice and comparison is the thief of happiness but this is a budget Blackpink cosplay with none of the Teddy/Bekuh hooks, like at all. That was a very interesting choice.

Aespa were smart enough to realise that being BP 2.0 wouldn't cut it and worked on their own group personality. It's not all good but I think they have plenty of redeeming qualities. Prayers for Giselle to step up because her lack of everything is startlingly obvious when she performs with the other three.

IVE never played the same game with their concept or sound, even with the woefully unsuited 'Baddie'. Wonyoung's position as Thee IT Kpop Girlie has not had a worthy challenger for years. Hopefully Starship don't fuck this up but let's be honest, they probably will. Still, I look forward to their comebacks the most.

NewJeans started so strong but I am now losing interest. I'm not their target audience so I can't criticise them for how juvenile Supershy sounded to me. It's nice to see youthful music for a youthful group though and I like that they aren't trying to be mature too fast. It's just hard to vibe sometimes.

NMIXX are just strange. I don't understand them but I do see how talented they are. It's just a shame their skills are wasted on such polarising music. It takes some balls to knowingly deviate from the safe path just for the vision. I have to respect them for that tbh haha. I can see this group really maturing into something great in a few years, if they can keep relevancy. I said the same exact thing about NCT when they came out so maybe there is hope (and despair).

Le Sserrafim are a Jukebox Group. Their last albums sounded like covers of Tyla, Rosalia and Rema. It's very trendy music and I don't fault them for doing that but when I'd rather listen to the original over them? That's not really good. No amount of aesthetically pretty lore videos compensates for their current lacklustre music (and vocals). I feel like we're heading into 'great gowns, beautiful gowns' territory with them.

Now Babymonster. I have not been impressed by them at all. The much-heralded Ahyeon has apparently returned to the group like Lazarus and I was informed she would be Wonyoung's successor but she does not even stand out in her own group. I would not be able to pick her out of a line up. They get full points for effort and I do like Stuck In The Middle but I begrudgingly admit that for these girl crush concepts, Teddy is Teddy for a reason. Choice37 and Jared Lee just don't produce in a very impactful way that I like. Good luck to them but I have no desire to replay any of their songs.

It really is so unfortunate though. The best Jimin duos are jihope, jinmin and minimoni (in that order) and they're the least popular ones. I hope you don’t feel pressured one way or the other on who she should end up with, personally I’ve had fun with all her romance options although I feel that all of them are to some extent using her to “band-aid” other issues in their lives. To jk she’s kinda like a replica of his mother and a person who can’t abandon him like his family, to jm she’s a fix to his insecurities about being used and overshadowed by others, to yg she’s a way to prove to himself that he isn’t exactly like his dad (and maybe even acts as a jin replacement?) and it leads to very selfish behavior from all of them. It’s hard to tell who would have fallen for her if they lived different lives where none of the above are true. I kinda get why jin was so appalled at the idea of her dating anyone from the gangs lol it’d be funny if she was like “I’m sick of everyone’s bullshit!” and moved on from all of them 💀

also idk if you’ve heard about the architect vs gardener types of writers but I’m curious about whether you’ve had an ending set in your head from the start (architect) or if you’ve let the story take its own course and changed your mind while writing (gardener). if it’s the gardener one I’ll be back when the series ends to ask you to talk to us about other ideas you had along the way!

thank you for this in depth analysis!! omg, I really enjoy this type of dialogue with you beautiful readers💞 your interpretation is sooo good, her romantic adventures have been so interesting to write. The Jk x Y/n is different from the yoongi x Y/n, and the jm x y/n is just a whole hot mess. I think what I like about jk and yn the most is how youthful their attraction is, even though it’s painfully toxic. It’s something that doesn’t get old. There’s still a lot left unsaid there, Jungkook broke it off because Y/n could not grow past where the relationship had ended. And Jin has every reason to not want her with any of them, he grew up with them and knows their bullshit very well. That’s the one area he truly cares about Y/n, he genuinely doesn’t want her to be with them, his heart is there at least.

I won’t even touch on Jimin lol. Yoongi’s though, it took MONTHS for me to bring them together. Like even I was feeling awkward during some of their scenes. But I eventually got a flow the other day!! Things just started to fall into place in my mind and I’m happy with how it come out🥹 I think you said it best, being with her is a way for him to prove that he’s not like his father. It’s a bit ironic. He’s having to revert back to his old ways, similar to his father—but in terms of his love life? Or lack there of, he’s done a 180 and that’s what I really like about their dynamic

I’ve actually never heard about that!! But that’s so cool, I am definitely an architect (with gardener tendencies) 👉👈 from the very beginning, since the prologue, it was always going to be Yoongi falling for her. As I’ve written, there have always been pivotal moments that I plan, and then I just have to write myself there. It’s a bit chaotic but it works😅

Why I like TWST - pt1 (rant)

Slight spoilers for book 7

Twst is the best otome not otome games I’ve played for far and while I haven’t played all in existence, I played a decent amount of them

It solely lies in the fact that while it may be baity at times (Malleus I’m looking at you) it doesn’t need to rely on romance and cheap gags to keep the player (who is probably there for that exact reason) engaged…since it was marketed at just that.

There’s nothing wrong with the game, in fact if you like it go for it. The problem is the game can sometimes get too wrapped up in the fact that it must have pretty men (I’m only speaking for the “fem directed otomes” because those are the ones I’ve played) that it looses the little boldness/any at all that dares to break the norm of what is beautiful or acceptable to make for an interesting game/story.

I’m gonna shit on obeys me’s later writing because as I’ve said before in this post, it has so much potential. But it abandons all else for cheap scenarios where the demons don’t even act like demons.

Anyways maybe that’s just my criticism with obey me or ygs could relate to another otome that the devs ruined for the sake of random fluff.

I like TWST so much because in its essence it’s exactly the opposite of what I described—not an otome. It doesn’t give a shit if the player (or simp, jk) gets butthurt if it’s set up in the narrative for this certain character not to be entirely head over heels for the MC.

Sure the plot isn’t perfect (I’m looking at u book 4) but think of it this way.. most players who are at least up to date use their knowledge of the canon plot to weave the story into their fanart/fanfiction. The plot is integral for the viewer to actually be invested and it is interesting and relevant enough that people actually use it when enjoying the game.

I’m gonna bet you the average player doesn’t know what’s going on in OM! past ch 50. Or maybe you do but I haven’t seen a lot of posts referencing anything plot wise past 20. (Except for the new characters) it’s because it’s simply not interesting enough to be pain attention to. (Maybe I’m being too harsh but this is my experience)

Criticism

I think one of my only criticisms about TWST is about the MC (in game) I like the direction they go in the manga but in game they’re kinda meh. Now I know they do fulfill their purpose and TWST isn’t that kinda game (you need to insert yourself) but I feel that giving the MC a personality or at least a backstory (ish) would be better since that is what they did in the manga

Idk self insert MCs can be fun (don’t get me wrong I love em) but personally I feel that the MC should be given an explanation as to why they are like that. Why are they a beast tamer?, what do they feel in being in a school with otherworldly subjects?, how do they cope with living in a Rickety environment? What are some clues about their backstory /what they remember before coming to TWST that could aid in buildup for when ortho (bless his soul) finds a possible answer to how we ended up here?

Also this is my oc/what I believe to be interesting but I found it interesting as to what living as a girl in a school full of boys can affect the MC. I don’t believe this part should be implemented in the main thing because there are a bunch of wonderful male MCs, but it is something I would want to explore.

Top 3 kpop mvs from the 2000s

hey!! thank you so much [: this got long, so without further ado...

1. bigbang, haru haru.

it's literally this and then [BRICK WALL] like, this music video literally changed the trajectory of kpop, it became a viral moment that lasted until, like, 2010. it catapulted bigbang to international stardom. i desperately cannot stress enough how this music video and song is a moment, and a high, that kpop is still chasing to this day and that they might never reach again. absolutely, purely organic genius. the brilliance of haru haru is how absolutely earnest it is with its very own melodrama. the acting. the conflict. oh my god, that story line. this is maybe the greatest kpop music video ever, just because it is impossible to replicate now. this changed lives. it did a lot to put kpop on the map. and it is just perfect as it is, and as a time capsule. i watched this approximately 3655467287 times in 2010 alone. i think people who know how iconic and influential bigbang are only ever choose fantastic baby or bang bang bang as examples, but haru haru is what turned them into yg's biggest superstars before inflated numbers, streams, etc. it's hard to explain if you weren't there, to be honest. on another note, i am pretty sure that gtop fight was my gay awakening, lol. another bigbang entry that just missed the mark because it was released in 2010: tell me goodbye. literally a masterpiece. narrative! CINEMATOGRAPHY! that top verse i can still recite word for word! a perfect marriage of everything that makes japanese kpop offerings impeccable. i carried a picture of that gdragon in my school diary until i graduated high school, lol. (choices, i know)

2. 2pm, heartbeat

i wanted to go with mirotic first, but i think heartbeat did the same things done in mirotic, just better. first of all, this music video does not rely on any narrative or any gimmicks, and it is still so well done. the angles and camera pans here, the obstructed shots, the lens flares. the contrast between the industrial gray and the eery, hollow white set. that choreography. this is so purely, undistilled 2nd gen kpop but in, like, a gothic fantasia. the atmosphere of this video is almost creepy which serves the song perfectly, and it is carried by performance, lights, and camera alone. i would have almost chosen again&again, because it does have a story line, but i actually think heartbeat's directive choices are so much better, and far superior. it is such an interesting music video just because how it is shot in a way that makes it visually appealing while simultaneously a little off-kilter. amazing. no notes. 100000/10 beast is not here, by the way, because if i would have chosen anything, it would have been shock, but heartbeat is once again the better offering of a similar style.

3. g-dragon, heartbreaker

one more masterclass. i am sorry, but this is another one of those insane offerings. the production design here is off the charts, the checkerboard heart eye-make up and bleached hair immediately became a signature hallmark look, the choreography is so memorable yet perfectly in sync with g-dragon's artistic persona. this music video felt insanely expensive back in 2009, and deviated from the nitty-gritty of that era. it was colorful, catchy, and immediately, insanely recognizable. replay factor? through the roof, especially with that breathe teaser making it a two-piece. also, the apple imagery was just another stroke of genius. like, this felt like watching a superstar emerge into the scene with that intro. "I'm all by myself, but it's all good," like yeah, sure, is this cringy as hell? absolutely. could anyone else pull this off in the year of our lord 2024? never, but it works perfectly here. the sci-fi influences. the masked dancers. oh my god. we will never have something this earnest, unironic, serious and yet glossy and campy.

3. shinee, ring ding dong

did you really think you would not find shinee here? c'mon now. what is there to say about this music video that hasn't been said yet. the wings. the choreography that the entirety of korea knows by heart. this made shinee my instant ults, my instant biases. dancing in the water!!! the concise color palette, the grays and reds, the hairstyles getting progressively more disheveled. watching jonghyun in this music video for the first time (and to this day) was like watching a miracle appear right in front of your eyes, that sort of gravitas and charisma is rare to come by and i am afraid there will never be anyone else quite like that. truly, one of a kind and just an insane moment in time to live through. how, in a way, unpolished this music video and their performance is is precisely why it is one of the greatest things ever. you can literally see them launching straight into their stage and performance genius from this. it's so crazy. this is like watching history being written, which is why it is one of the best kpop mvs of that decade.

honorable mention: sorry sorry by super junior. a perfectly slick, chrome fever dream that could be a commercial for all i know. i am sorry (hah) but when this song comes on, every ounce of, like, common sense leaves my body and i am stuck in this 4:17 true kpop marvel. it is just perfect. the production of this music video and this song. the aspect ratio (slay). the black and white. that tastefully measured autotune because suju has like maybe 3 decent vocalists. the group choreography shots look tight as hell, especially at the end. the last 15 seconds of this music video look just. fucking amazing. sorry, yeah, it had to be here.

Hello! I was scrolling through your post (all your stories and post are fire🔥) when I came across your potential murder series when so many ideas came to my mind! My first thought was that they were secret agents under the agency JYP where they worked together to find this other group (any group outside of JYP) who had done something wrong (I don’t have an idea off the top of my bed of what they did wrong). In this story idea all the entertainment companies in real life are like enemies (ex: JYP and YG are enemies) and all the groups under the same company are allies (ex: Skz and Itzy are allies and work together).

That was what first came to mind and if you are interested I have more ideas it continue the story and if you aren’t then I can come up with a different plot for the story if you still need inspiration!

Don’t be afraid to tell me if you don’t like my ideas or need more inspiration, you are the one writing the stories so the last thing I want is for you to be uncomfortable!

You have a gift for writing and I am glad you are embracing it. Every writer goes through writer’s block and trust me I know what it feels like. If you are not excited to write another part of your story or you feel like you don’t enjoy doing it you need to find what you enjoy writing and embrace it! You know when you find what you love when you can’t wait to write another chapter and you personally love the story! You need to enjoy writing it as much as your readers will LOVE reading it!

I really put a whole college typa effort into the first chapter of A Lost Cause, like grammar to description. And I think while doing that I lost the spark of writing it, it was like I was taking it to seriously. Maybe that’s why I couldn’t get myself to write chap two sooner?

I will say that chap two of A Lost Cause and other fics being posted will have different styles, I’m kinda just  experimenting 😅. They’ll be a little more simple in terms of grammar n stuff, almost like fun little drabbles :) i hope me changing my style a little doesn’t change ur opinion about my writing❤️

Oh man, the what-if the meeting didn't happen kidnappings are interesting! Just because...yn probably ends up at the cabin (with all of them?) regardless, huh?

Since in those scenarios there are still 6 (or 5 if it's tae/yoongi) stalkers going to be Very Upset and wanting to figure out where she is. Most of them would probably bring it up to Jimin eventually, since he'd be the best bet at trying to find their ✨✨missing soulmate✨✨. He'd probably think they were lying/mistaken (Jimin True Soulmate Brain (tm)), but since they're so close I feel like (especially if more than one of them came to him, even separately) he'd at least be curious what's going on. So even if he hadn't already taken her to the cabin himself, then with the hubbub of trying to find her, they'd realize they were all soulmates (or at least a subgroup) and...to the cabin we go. Then any remaining panicking stalkers would probably realize something was weird and join the bro-ing out at the cabin. Or be left out, the poor(?) things(?)?

Maybe I'm totally wrong though. Poor yn just seems so screwed to me lol. A cybersecurity bro and a cop as bestie adversaries is...not great lol

I would say you're quite correct with that assumption, actually! I didn't give any thought to what would happen after with the previous ask, but of course (!!) the rest wouldn't give up until they knew where the MC was. Even if say, TH/YG got to her first, the rest would eventually figure out that they were keeping her in their apartment, and Jimin would probably offer up the cabin to get her away from the public. So yeah, the MC ending up at the cabin is somewhat inevitable. Jimin would likely always get involved in tracking her down as well 💀
