Other than Hilbert, she's close w Gloria, Nemona, Dawn, and Calem

As for the dynamics, well, she and Gloria are like what she and Cynthia were back then hahah like mentor and protege thing, Gloria really looks up to her and trains under her too, Iris was more than happy to have someone under her wing, it makes her feel a bit accomplished that one of the champions really want to train w her, it's cool too bc like how Cynthia saw Iris like a little sister, Iris also saw Gloria like a lil sis, tbf Gloria is the next gen champs' lil sis at this point lmao

But yeah, that's also kinda bittersweet for her yknow, cause time really passed, Cynthia wasn't champion anymore, and w how Iris is like w Gloria, now she thinks she should be better like Cynthia was w her. Cynthia had always been so cool for her, she was strong but still kind enough to teach her what she knows, Iris aspires to be like her too. My guy, Iris is honestly just living in the shadows of the former champions lmfaaaooo

No but,,, yeah y'know the more I think abt it. A leader like Lance, caring and supportive like Diantha, adventurous like Steven, strong and reliable like Cynthia, down to earth like Wallace, a silent observer like Geeta, my guy she even looks like Leon and is optimistic like him too. Iris really got all the qualities of the older Champions, and it low-key fucks her up cause ofc, she wants to make them all proud, to show that even without them she's capable of being a great Champion, a good leader, that she won't be a disappointment

But that just messed her up even more that oftentimes Lance's cape feels so heavy to wear, how the chains from the necklace Diantha gave her often feels like it burns her own skin, it feels suffocating, she's so tired, she doesn't know what or who she's supposed to be anymore
