Okay but like honestly, who is this?
Yeah I get it’s probably supposed to be a beta version of Caramel Arrow Cookie, but the voice sounds different (I’d say a bit deeper/older), and also timeline wise it doesn’t add up. It’s implied that Caramel Arrow is at least a few years younger than Dark Choco, considering he taught her to wield a bow (especially since in this kingdom, they learn to wield weapons at a young age), and Dark Choco was young himself at this time. More likely she’d be a teenager, or even close to Milk’s age in this flashback. But this lady’s clearly an adult. And even if it was a beta version of Caramel Arrow, wouldn’t they have gone and made her look more like Caramel Arrow, or had her name indicate who she is like what they do with Milk Cookie?
I don’t know, it probably doesn’t matter, but it just popped into my head and it’s weird

I’m reading Simon vs the Homosapians and I can’t help but poke at the flaw in Martin’s plan. Like say Simon refused to be blackmailed and Martin outed him right away, it would be pretty easy to assume that once Abby learned about the blackmail attempt any chance, however slim, Martin had would have gone completely out the window. So much so that he probably would have made himself a pariah. I’m just saying, in no scenario was Martin ever going to come out looking like the good guy.

I really wish we could reconcile, because I feel like we could’ve been good friends. We technically haven’t seen each other in like four months, but I feel like it’s still gonna be a little tense when we meet again

Been watching FOP: A new wish and I know that Peri’s wand is supposed to be based off his baby rattle. But I can’t help but feel like it’s also a way of showing that he’s repressing his magic.
Because in the original show it was shown that fairies stoped having kids all together because Cosmo was to destructive. And that the Cosma family is related to the Vonstrangles (the most powerful fairy family ever). And to top it all off Peri himself was MADE from a wish, which makes me think that he might have a greater magical capacity then other fairies do. All this put together could make him one of the most powerful fairies in existence.
So I find it kind of interesting that while all the other fairies have regular star wands, Peri’s wand has a more condensed star in a glass bubble.

And I think it’s kinda cool to think about what might happen if he were to lose control of his power. But that’s just my thoughts on it.

Sometimes I think back on when chapter 2 came out and there were people saying that Susie’s turnaround from ch1 to how she is in ch2 was too sudden and jarring. Hell, even back in ch1 people were saying that Susie’s character development happened too quickly.
then Spamton sweepstakes happened and so did the newest girl post, which I really think was partially meant to serve as a reminder to people entering the fandom with ch2 that this is how she used to be.
Not to mention the aftermath of the Lancer fight, with how quickly she went from seemingly wanting to tear Lancers fucking throat out to immediately wanting to reconcile with him and affirming their friendship. (which. the whole thing WAS a huge misunderstanding. but still)
besties I think this is just how she is. She’s a good person and great friend but she’s also a little bit emotionally unstable! And I love her for that!!

Okay, this is something that’s been bothering me for a while now, but how do the Ancients suddenly have their normal outfits on during the Story Mode?
Like, Pure Vanilla gets put in the jar, he’s now in his outfit. Hollyberry gets the shield, she’s now in her outfit. Dark Cacao pulls his sword, he’s now in his outfit. How does this keep happening?
I mean okay, I get it if it’s symbolic, like how sometimes Dark Choco is shown in shadow despite not being in it, but I’m pretty sure it’s literal. And it’s not like they’re themselves again, so we’re seeing them in their normal outfits but in reality they change later, Hollyberry is dead proof of that, considering we actually see it happen in real time
Tumblr media
Does the Soul Jam just give them new clothes? Are these outfits just manifestations created by the Soul Jams?
Does that mean that they’re still wearing those other outfits underneath?

The fact that Fitz isn’t even capitalized in Burrich’s dialogue until he’s almost ten years old is just. God. He’s just a little kid and he just wants to be safe and loved and he doesn’t even have a name I can’t do this

hey. come closer. i have a spoilery question about varric that has tormented me for days.
Tumblr media
do you think varric heard the song of the stone as he died?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
do you think that for a moment—just a moment—harding felt varric when she reconnected to titan magic with the blade that had been doused with his blood?

This could be a hard stretch but I think the reason why viv and her crew doesn’t like Octavia because they are not her original creators
and look I know it sounds crazy but hear me out so no shocking secret that Vivzepop has a long history of copying other artists ocs designs and slap it onto her characters and claim it as her original designs and with currently today she is still doing that except she doesn’t draw anymore so all of the characters in helluva boss are not even viv characters they were literally drawn by other artists without getting credit
so this is where Octavia comes in I think someone who used to work on the show created her and you can tell whoever made Octavia actually cares for her I mean when you look back at the Instagram posts and lo lo land it feels like Octavia was important to the show
but sadly of course her original creator was either getting treated like crap by spindlehorse or got fired for stupid reasons so now viv and has to write Octavia but instead of actually caring about her or giving her any development viv doesn’t do anything with Octavia she only cares about her if makes her favorite character looks like a good person (cough stolas cough)
and with how the final episode making Octavia look like a villain by cutting off stolas from her life and running away it seems like viv and spindlehorse is using this as an excuse to write her out of the show until they remember she exists and do the bare minimum to bring her back into the plot

I don’t know if this is the general consensus of the fandom but it’s been gnawing at my brain-
All the times Eurylochus tries to admit that he was the one who opened the wind bag, Odysseus seems to be aloof to it. We hear this especially in Puppeteer, when Odysseus redirects him and tells him “whatever you have to say can wait some more- of that I’m sure.”
At first I took this as Odysseus being unaware of the gravity of the secret Eurylochus is keeping. Now though, listening again to the tone Odysseus uses (and informed by the context in Scylla when the secret comes out and how THAT convo goes), I think Odysseus was intentionally redirecting the conversation because he KNEW what Eurylochus was about to say and he didn’t want to hear it. I think that redirection was Ody being merciful to Eurylochus- not only saving him from owning up to his mistake, but also saving him from the rage/disappointment Ody knows he would feel if he heard Eurylochus say what he’d done.
This also sheds an interesting light on his attitude and actions in Scylla. Ody knows at this point what the price of Scylla will be. He knows he’ll be sacrificing his men. When Eurylochus says he’s being quiet, he says there’s not much to say, and it’s because he’s hiding something. Eurylochus takes this moment to reveal what he’s been hiding. This time though- Odysseus doesn’t stop him. He lets him say what he knows Eurylochus is going to say. Now Odysseus knows for sure Eurylochus is the one who opened the wind bag.
I think he does this because he knows what he has to do, and he knows hearing of the betrayal he’s been avoiding for so long will give him the strength to do it. I think he lets Eurylochus tell him because it will justify the sacrifice he’s about to make.

There’s something so interesting about Akemi releasing the songbird and Takayoshi killing it, and while he doesn’t know of how personally Akemi is projecting onto it, he recognises that the act and then his mother subsequently being a dick about it upset Akemi and offers her two birds to make up for it and the way that like, the basic principle that it suggests that he might be actually kinda an alright guy and not the tyrant Akemi has been dreading, but also, the way he presents her with two birds locked in a cage is so interesting because it could suggest he does guess how personally she was projecting onto that bird and offer her a metaphor back: two birds, both hemmed in by the strings of power and status and expectations and court intrigue and the machinations of his mother. Two birds trapped in a cage together
