To properly answer this: I am actually actively drawing them! It's just I took a step back and decided to give them an active story. And I am just very bad at writing an actual story (And doing comics, I really really don't know how to format a comic)

I wish I could post some of these sketches I have of these tiny guys, but they're mostly just a growing doodle page

On top of everything else that's happened in the last month or so

(girlfriend breaking up with me / me running off in the night w the friend I was supposed to be maid of honor with bc her (now ex) fiance came home drunk and scared us, while ofc we also both were in swimsuits and had like NO money or even shoes due to incredibly poor timing / Getting stuck in Dallas for TWO MONTHS longer than I meant to be due to bullshit work transfer systems (and admitedly my own inability to remember that deadlines exist) / that same friend going BACK to her shit boyfriend alone to a city 4 hours away from anyone she may call for help if things go wrong / me now no longer having a place in dallas to stay for these next 2 months bc I was SUPPOSED to stay with that friend but her bastard boyfriend doesn't want me in his house anymore bc he knows I'd tell his girlfriend to dump his ass)

I have now lost my fucking house keys.

Anyways I may or may not be way less active for a bit so this is the formal apology and explanation for that. Sorry guys, we are NOT going back to ur normally scheduled rapid fire ninja content as promised for like. A minute. Possibly. We'll see. Sometimes my own motivation wave surprises me.

Sorry to double ask but I realize I had more thoughts:

He doesn’t have the same feeling of entitlement as a lot of this genre has (not that entitlement is a bad thing), even though you were literally given to him along with a title.

But at least in my eyes, it feels less like he just believes he should have you because he deserves it, it feels like he wishes he could’ve had the time to court you properly, and make you fall in love with him, but sadly war and royal politics took that time from him, so now he gets to have you, wether you want it or not. Something about the lost time is really one of the things that’s getting me here.

Anyways if nothin else I think you’re a phenomenal writer lmao and I’m quite happy I found your blog!

Thank you all so much! Honestly I didn't expect people to love him so much. I plan on making a proper part 2 for Yantober at least, but I like the thoughts on him.

I think what makes him so yummy is that there's a tragedy somewhere in here. You knew him when he was just an innocent boy, untainted and uncorrupted by war and heavy class difference. In fact, you might have actually liked him once upon a time.

But the love of conquest and bloodshed has been beat into Yandere knight, and you're just a casualty of that careful grooming. It's honestly so unfair that he hangs onto the hope of you being able to love him again because, in a way, it's like you are the last vestige of his normal life that he has left. He needs you because you represent a time in his life when a simple childhood crush was the biggest of his worries.

He feels bad for the way he forces you by his side because he's not just betraying you, he's betraying himself. Or at least, he's betraying the version of himself that actually deserved a chance at being with you.

It hurts since he knows that it doesn't feel right for either of you, but he'd rather be in this awful, icky situation rather than not have you at all.

My next entry for my SIW Expression Challenge! J7 for Mikey, and J4 for Raph!

I honestly have.... absolutely NO context as to what's happening in this scene. Perhaps an attractive actress appeared in one of the guys' tv shows? That's most likely. Yeah, I'll go with that.

When it comes to love lives- The brothers... don't... have one. XD However much of a romantic Raph can be, he doesn't ever get a special lady to call his own. The idea of having a romantic partner that would watch his back during battles and comfort him if he ever lost brings a tender warmth into his heart; One he refuses to show at the surface, but doesn't mind to linger in when he's alone and can be vulnerable. Despite all these dreams and *ugh* warm feelings, he chooses to gag and act repulsed by the concept of love and romance. It helps him to cope cover up get past the longings he'll never be allowed to reach.

Mikey's never really had an interest in a girlfriend. He doesn't mind seeing couples on tv shows hugging or flirting- but as soon as the smooching starts he escorts himself out of the room whilst sounding a cacophany of gags and shivers. (Why the actual shell do people choose to show looove by overlapping their faces and sharing spit??? IT'S GROOOSSSSSS!!!)

I wouldn't say soon. More so... eventually. We have a lot of stories to get through before he becomes a primary focus. There will be a couple cameos here and there most likely and then, perhaps, we'll get SBR's take on his backstory ;)
