listen I know it’s kind of corny and inaccurate to act like every single person in the dc universe knows each other and is besties but it IS endlessly funny to me to follow the web of connections and see how many degrees removed from each other everyone is.

like look at the arrowfam okay. ollie and dinah are together, ollie is homoerotic best friends with hal, dinah is homoerotic best friends with babs. roy is dating dick, has a kid with jade, and is basically an adoptive father to both grant emerson and rose wilson. connor is dating kyle and is constantly followed around by eddie fyers. mia is friends with a lot of the second gen teen titans kids, had an on-again-off-again thing going on with steph for a while, and is currently dating sienna. emiko is besties with courtney and some of the other recent teen titans. sin has a small army of protective aunts from the birds of prey. the real question is how far does it go before ollie puts a cap on the number of people who are invited to family brunch on sundays

baffling decision for season 2, episode 18 to end with lewis making a legit effort for charlotte, making a picnic of things she likes and hugging her and seeming really happy with her

only for episode 19 to trample all over that with him blowing her off after she mentions that she misses him and hasn't seen him for a while, then apparently forgetting he even has a girlfriend altogether and softly flirting with his ex while the narrative agrees that this is correct because, unlike charlotte, cleo always smiles when she first sees lewis. you know. unlike charlotte. who goes out of her way to try and make lewis happy and smiles literally every time she sees him. there's not even an episode between these!

#@opalsiren bestie this one's for you #like seriously. she even says that she's happy he wants to plan the date because that means he's happy and he verbally says he is #but then the next time we see her she says that she hasn't seen him in a while and he completely blows her off. like. what?#again! i don't even ship them!#i am one hundred percent a clewis shipper and i am very happy they got back together!#my problem is that the narrative has to twist and bend on the back of a character whose only role in this story is to get punched around #and humiliated so that other characters can grow #and lewis isn't even a little conflicted! it's like he knows that charlotte's role in life is just to be a contrived roadblock in his story #to getting back with cleo and therefore can pick and choose when she's an actual person he cares about and when she can just be tossed asid #why even have her in that episode if she didn't add anything but as a reminder that yes don't worry #lewis doesn't care about her when it's inconvenient and in fact here's a shot of her being abandoned and sad bc of it!#seemingly just as another kick in the stomach #you could literally take her out of the episode and lose nothing. bc it's about lewis meeting max and learning about the 50s mermaids as #well as getting closer to cleo. which is fine! they're going to get back together anyway! but why oh why #did we need to humiliate someone whose only crime at this point is being upset that her boyfriend is ignoring and blowing her off??#like. the one who can't stop smiling when she first sees you??? that's charlotte! her whole character is about lewis! and she's his actual #girlfriend at this point and they. last time we saw them together. were doing fine! he MADE HER A PICNIC LIKE SHE DID FOR HIM #gahhhhhh #h2o just add water #charlotte watsford #lewis mccartney #cleo sertori

unique greetings?? hello??

the romance-specific greeting only seemed to trigger once I entered act 3, despite jantar having gone through the dance cutscene fairly early into act 2.

the regular high friendship one is a greeting I've gotten before in corydalis' save, as well as "always good to talk, my friend," but both lines of dialogue randomly disappeared at some point, and wyll only greeted corydalis with "well met." well, up until today, I guess.

I have to wonder if these will once again randomly disappear because they are clearly bugged and larian just won't fix them once and for all...

...please...stop doing this to the gate's most beautiful little prince...

in speaking of things i wanna write i have a vision for an alternate version of max and chris's dialogue in peter pan goes wrong where it's increasingly obvious that part of the reason chris is so annoyed with max's infatuation with sandra is the fact he's still bitter about his and sandra's really bad bestie breakup and the word soulmate has especially set him off......"you haven't known sandra for HALF as long as i have and you think you're her soulmate, well i thought that too and now look at where that's gotten me" vibes........

#im joking #but also man my days are so boring right now #struggle to wake up at 5;30 stumble out of bed at 8 maybe if i'm lucky #stare at computer screen listlessly and maybe get stuff done #most exciting part of my day is when i get to chat with my bf for a little bit in the afternoon #and then when people get home so i get to say hi for a few minutes b4 they're off doing stuff (fair)#and then i get ready to go to bed at 9:20pm after i feed my cat and it begins anew #i have got to get back into one of my hobbies or something the tedium is getting to me rly badly #need 2 get that work desk so i can do crafts in the craft room or make one idc #also the weather has been truly abysmal since we moved #hot and in the 90s and obscenely humid so i can't really muster up the willpower to want to go on a hike #augh #personal stuff #i think it's also bc i was just on an amazing fun 5000 mile road trip where i was constantly looking at new stuff and talking and having fu #and now im home and its boring here and i can't look at mesas and kiss my boyfriend and do fun activities all day every day #its like my brain is a rubber band that was stretched to the max over the course of that trip by sheer amount of enrichment #and now that i'm back home the amt of enrichment is so so much less that the brain rubber band is just loose n floppy #at least for now while it gets used to what is a much more normal amount of enrichment

The guy is dead. He is not coming back, he will not be the hero, he is not the hero, Steve was not wearing his jacket, Max does not want him back and DEFINITELY does not feel safe with him.

No character in that show is thinking "boy oh boy Billy's sacrifice sure opened my eyes to how sad he was. I sure do miss him! 😃" they're barely thinking about him past how he traumatised Lucas, Max, and Steve.

best part of my day is gonna be the massive hit of pillow and blanky when i get home from work

#getting up was so painful today. and well yes it was probably made worse by going to dinner for my friends birthday last night #where EYE had to be bitchy abt service ppl bc it's the worst restaurant ever run by college students.#ok it was like two minutes of me being bitchy and saying 'go be a mean boyfriend abt it' but i was justified.#anyways. took forever to get out of there. woke up so many times during the night #maybe cause my body was anxious id miss my shift idk. and i wouldve only been sleeping for like. 5 hours max #and i cant lie some joy was restored in my heart talking to some of our buddies and i felt like a person again briefly #and im making myself do more things today even tho i barely wanna go to class. but that will be #once again after an amazing wonderful nap #just gotta make it thru this shift.. and well brother i am just sitting here #will not fall asleep #abby talks

#im struggling a lot today #i just keep thinking about my grandma and how she refused to help me in this hopeless situation #she has a huge house with three open bedrooms and a whole basement and she refused to let us stay with her #because she wants her new fucking boyfriend to move in with her #and now im out over $2000 for staying a month in this shitty fucking hotel room #when that money could have went towards permanent housing if only she had let us stay a month or two and figure it out #i already cut contact with her when she said she wouldnt let us stay with her #but all day today i cant stop thinking about it. i thought she fucking cared about me but apparently she cares more about a guy #that shes known for maybe 2 years?#combined with the suicidal thiughts i have #i just cant stop thinking about committing and what i would say to her before doing so #i cant stop thinking that if i did commit if we become homeless that she could have easily prevented it #i just want to hurt her as much as she has hurt me #and i hate that. but im in the worst situation ive ever been in my life and she cant even help me by giving us money even #when all the rest of my family is doing everything they can #becuase weve wasted all our savings were going to have to stay here at least another month #but possibly even 2-3 more months #when we could have just taken a month or two at max to get things figured out and get permanent housing #i cant rationalize why she would not help us unless she doesnt give a shit about me #so honestly FUCK her. i told her she should never expect to hear from me again and i stand by that.
