My favorite thing to imagine is all the mischief Tilly and John would get up to in their youth.
Them pranking Arthur, stealing candy from general stores, and getting on the very last nerves of Dutch, Hosea, and Grimshaw.

"THE IMPORTANCE OF UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE"
THE HOLY SPIRIT’S WORK IN JEREMIAH: God’s call and anointing upon Jeremiah’s life as a prophet began in the womb. God reveals to Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5 AMPC). This reveals that the…

The Sandersons will be living in one of the Flight Officer houses because, under my rules, all married couples are entitled to this level of housing. Blake is not yet a Flight Officer - he is Level 5 (Counter Intelligence) - but even if he were only a Recruit they would still be entitled to this house.
It is a very spartan and basic two-bed, one-and-a-half-bath house with an obstacle course out back so that Blake can maintain his fitness. The Military has also provided a cheap jalopy for his transportation needs.
Credit for the house goes to WatermelonSandal at ModtheSims here. Once again, I only redecorated to suit my preferences - they were the designer/builder.

“Keeping In Step with Christ” This 1-minute devotion explains why Christ told us to take His YOKE and 4 ways we can make sure we're doing it:
We always get out of step when we try to bear our own burdens, solve our own problems, and operate in our own power.
We need a yoke* that connects us with Christ so we can move in step with Him:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30).
Yoked to Christ, we walk where He walks:
1. Dwelling on His Word:
“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly” (Colossians 3:16a).
2. Rejecting popular worldly philosophies:
“See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ” (Colossians 2:8).
3. Following His purposes:
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10).
4. Walking in His power and strength:
“I can do all this through him who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13).
Jesus says, "Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be" (John 12:26).
Best of all, when we move in step with Christ, we find rest for our souls.
-----------------
*Yoke: "zygós – properly, a yoke; a wooden bar placed over the neck of a pair of animals so they can pull together; (figuratively) what unites (joins) two people to move (work) together as one."
For a deeper understanding of taking Christ's yoke:
•Which yoke
•Yoked but unburdened
•Learn from Him
•Jesus invites us to come take and learn
•Come
(All Bible verses in the NIV.)

A Golden Treasury for the Children of God
Tumblr media
by Carl Heinrich von Bogatzky
If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful, he cannot deny himself. - 2 Timothy 2:13
A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; - Isaiah 42:3
for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” - Romans 10:13
Blessed are they who do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. - Matthew 5:6
Whoever has such a hungering and thirsting heart, desiring grace above all things, calling upon the name of the Lord, and depending only upon Christ, as a justifying faith already, and is in a state of salvation, though as yet he has not the full assurance of it. This is a fruit of the former, but it is not always enjoyed so soon, nor constantly, at least not without hard conflicts.
Jesus, if still the same thou art, If all thy promises are sure, Set up thy kingdom in my heart, And make me rich, for I am poor; To me be all thy treasures given, The kingdom of an inward heaven.
Where is the blessedness bestowed On all that hunger after thee? I hunger now, I thirst for God! See, the poor fainting sinner, see, And satisfy with endless peace, And fill me with thy righteousness.
Lord, I believe the promise sure, And trust thou wilt not long delay: Hungry, and sorrowful, and poor, Upon thy word myself I stay! Into thine hands my all resign, And wait till all thou art is mine.

"I just choose to read the Bible literally!" exclaims the proponent of the eternal conscious torment view of Hell as they frantically point to poetry, parables, and apocalyptic visions.
"What do you mean read the didactic teachings of Christ and his apostles literally? That's absurd, those are obviously metaphors and symbolism."

AN LDS WOLF IN THE FOLD?
What if I told you that much of the best Christian entertainment of the last several years is being used to convert professing Christians to Mormonism - to the tune of 450,000 in the last four years alone. Join the conversation on our blog!
Is Evangelical/Mormon Collaboration Blurring the Lines Between Orthodoxy and Heresy. What if I told you that much of the best Christian entertainment you’ve been enjoying over the last several years may not be entirely what it seems?  Would it surprise you to know that, for example, The Chosen came about in large part due to an LDS (Latter Day Saint – they prefer this term over “Mormon”) film…
