Height Comparisons for the Wild Life Fan-Creators
So, that session 1 tho. Lotta height weirdness! And I can already tell this is gonna be hell for trying to determine where characters are in a space, so I did the math so y'all don't have to!
Of course there's definitely more than 1 way to do things, so if you don't like my math, don't use it! I'm also not a mathmatician so if my numbers are wrong pls let me know~
So where do we start?
Original heights, of course! Specifically, the original height of none other than Minecraft Steve himself.
Each minecraft block is a 1x1x1 meter cube, and Steve (and therefore all other cubitos) are exactly 2 blocks tall. This leaves Steve (and therefore the rest of the cubitos) at a default of about 6'5-6'6 feet tall.
Tumblr media
Step 2 is where the shrinkage comes in. We know from the Sub One Crew that the smallest height possible is half a block, so 50 centimeters. The largest height possible, from what I can gather, is 6 blocks, so 6 meters, leaving a height range from 1'6-19'7 feet.
Tumblr media
But, we can also go a little further~
With the way characters move and the fact that none of the characters really did proper experimental testing, it's hard to say how much height exactly is added per jump or per crouch.
So, I figured it'd be easier to just call it one pixel per jump or per crouch. (Crouching in reality is a bit more complicated because you can hold it down, but for the sake of easy math I'm just going to count the crouches the same as the jumps.)
Each minecraft block has a 16x16 grid of pixels on each side. If each jump adds a pixel and each crouch removes one, then that would be adding/losing 6.25 cm per jump/crouch, or roughly 2.46 inches. So... Not that much of a difference in the grand scheme of things.
Tumblr media
This does mean, by these calculations, that getting from normal height to the minimum would take 24 crouches, and getting from normal height to the maximum would take about 64 jumps. And therefore, getting from max to min or min to max would be 88 crouches or jumps depending on which direction you're going in.
Yikes that's a workout-
Hopefully this helps put things a little bit into perspective when it comes to these cubitos and their height weirdness!
Here's hoping that session 2 involves a lot less math XD

How much information from Unlimited Void has Megumi suffered?
Tumblr media
I sat down and calculated the information/damage that Megumi had to go through because Sukuna had him shoulder the adaption of Mahoraga's wheel while inside the Domain Clashes (DC).
Relevant Information from Gojo's Domain Expension in Shibuya: it lasted 0.2 seconds, forced 6 months worth of information into non-sorcerers' brains and had them in a two month coma as a result.
1 second of Unlimited Void = 30 months of information
During their DCs, which happened 5 times, Gojo's sure-hit effect enveloped the entire domain while Sukuna's SH enveloped the entire domain except himself. This led to Sukuna being hit 5 times by UV but because he used the Ten Shadows Technique as a medium, he was able to redirect UV onto Megumi, making him the target of the SH.
How many seconds of UV was that? For the last three DCs we have concrete numbers, the first two are estimates by me:
DC: 20 seconds
DC: 120 seconds
DC: 189 seconds (3m9s, counted by Mei-Mei)
DC: 189 seconds (3m9s)
DC: 160 seconds (told by the narrator)
In total, Megumi was hit definitively by UV for 538s with an estimated 140s on top. Therefore, the months of information that was fed to him are: 16,140 months (definitive) + 4200 months (estimate). In years, these are 1,345 years (definitive) and 350 years (estimate).
Megumi was hit by Unlimited Void with about 1700 years worth of information
Tumblr media
That's the amount damage Megumi had to shoulder so that Sukuna could adapt Mahoraga to UV and protect himself. But because Megumi was only a soul at that point, he didn't die. We know that curse brains suffer less from UV than human brains, so a soul on its own most likely doesn't come out with lasting damage but only to the *body* of the soul.
What kind of effect this suffering will have on Megumi's mental state is anyone's guess. My personal theory on this is that Megumi will actually be able to understand that infinite amount of information and grow from it instead of receiving brain damage like Sukuna.

The rate that the general population, as a whole, will at some point in their life self-harm, is 17%. That’s terrifying. That’s close to 1 in 5 people.
The self harm rate, for bisexual women specifically, is 50%. That’s right. 1 in 2. Half of all bisexual women self harm. That’s even more terrifying.
Bisexual women’s trauma is literally so glossed over and ignored. And it shouldn’t be this way.

How many generations between Oscar Tully and Hoster Tully and the Blackfish?
Comparative generations between Cregan Stark and Rickard Stark is 6 (Cregan, Brandon, Beron, Willam, Edwyle, Rickard), which sounds about right, even factoring in that Brandon was Cregan's youngest child. Especially what we know about House Tully -- that Celia who might've married Jaehaerys II was probably Hoster and Brynden's aunt -- and the fact that it's about ~120 years between the births of Kermit/Oscar and Hoster/Brynden (120/20=6).

Mentioned I was working on something, this isn't that. But here are some fun facts I found while digging through the WNBA website and doing far too much math!
Years of experience DO count years where a player played on hardship contracts, but NOT a year where a player played no minutes in the W.
The Wings have the most rookies of any current team with 5 (Jaelyn Brown, Lou Lopez Senechal, Jacy Sheldon, Stephanie Soares, and Sevgi Uzun)
To go along with that, the Wings have the least years of experience between all of their players---35 years between them. The Fever is second-last with 38.
The team with the MOST experience is the Sun with 71 years total (thanks to the vets that Alexis Morris wanted to 'hang it up')
The Sky have half of all 4th year players in the league currently
Alysha Clark is the only 12th year player, Courtney Vandersloot is the only 14th year player, DeWanna Bonner is the only 15th year player, and Diana Taurasi is of course the only 20th (!!) year player
Much more detailed info & stats (plus a couple of my observations) under the cut bc I don't need to be the WNBA color of the sky post
Most experienced player on each team:
Mercury: Diana Taurasi (19 years of experience)
Sun: DeWanna Bonner (14)
Liberty: Courtney Vandersloot (13)
Dream: Tina Charles (12)
Storm: Nneka Ogwumike (12)
Aces: Alysha Clark (11)
Lynx: Kayla McBride (10)
Sparks: Layshia Clarendon (10)
Mystics: Stefanie Dolson (10)
Wings: Natasha Howard (10)
Sky: Elizabeth Williams (9)
Fever: Damiras Dantas & Erica Wheeler (both 8)
Total Experience Years:
Storm: 56
Dream: 60
Sky : 46
Sun: 71
Fever: 38
Liberty: 52
Mystics: 48
Wings: 35
Aces: 65
Sparks: 46
Lynx: 45
Mercury: 65
Most of each experience group:
Most Rookies: Wings (5)
Most 2nd Year Players: Lynx (4)
Most 3rd Year Players: Dream, Fever, Mystics (3)
Most 4th Year Players: Sky (3)
Most 5th Year Players: Liberty, Wings (2)
Most 6th Year Players: Aces, Lynx (4)
Most 7th Year Players: Sky, Mystics, Sparks (2)
Most 8th Year Players: Dream, Sun, Liberty, Mystics (2)
Most 9th Year Players: Mercury (3)
Most 10th Year Players: Storm, Aces (2)
Number of players in each experience group:
Rooks: 20
2nd Year: 20
3rd Year: 16
4th Year: 6
5th Year: 8
6th Year: 18
7th Year: 12
8th Year: 9
9th Year: 12
10th Year: 7
11th Year: 6
12th Year: 1 (Alysha Clark)
13th Year: 2 (Nneka Ogwumike, Tina Charles)
14th Year: 1 (Courtney Vandersloot)
15th Year: 1 (DeWanna Bonner)
20th Year: 1 (Diana Taurasi)
I'm hypothesizing the drop for 4th year and 5th year players is because of COVID. It's interesting that there's the same number of 4th year players and 11th year players.
The Lucky Covid 4th Year WNBA Survivors:
Chennedy Carter (Sky)
Dana Evans (Sky)
Michaela Onyenwere (Sky)
DiJonai Carrington (Sun)
Temi Fagbenle* (Fever)
Aari McDonald (Sparks)
*Temi wasn't drafted in 2020 or 2021, but she does have 3 years of experience so she's part of this category. She was drafted 35th overall in the 2016 draft.

Pop-quiz! What is this familiar mathematical object?
{{{{}, {{}}, {{}, {{}}}}}, {{{}, {{}}, {{}, {{}}}}, {{{{{{}}}}, {{}, {{{}}}}}, {{{{{}}, {{},{{}}}}}, {{}, {{{}}, {{},{{}}}}}}, {{{{{}}, {{},{{}, {{}}}}}}, {{}, {{{}}, {{},{{}, {{}}}}}}}, {{{{{{}}}, {{{}},{}}}}, {{{}}, {{{{}}}, {{{}},{}}}}}, {{{{{{}}}}}, {{{}, {{}}}, {{{{}}}}}}, {{{{{{}}}, {{{}},{{}, {{}}}}}}, {{}, {{{{}}}, {{{}},{{}, {{}}}}}}}, {{{{{{}, {{}}}}, {{{}, {{}}},{}}}}, {{{}, {{}}}, {{{{}, {{}}}}, {{{}, {{}}},{}}}}}, {{{{{{}, {{}}}}, {{{}, {{}}},{{}}}}}, {{}, {{{{}, {{}}}}, {{{}, {{}}},{{}}}}}}, {{{{{{}, {{}}}}}}, {{{}}, {{{{}, {{}}}}}}}}}}
It's Z/3Z. Or, well, it's a group isomorphic to Z/3Z. Actually unpacking the definition of Z/3Z set-theoretically would be way more complicated.

Shut up idea for maths based spellcasting - specifically probability - that is based upon my idea for a ‘mathologer’ in dnd
So there are only 6 levels of spells available. This is important as at max level your “spell slots” will add to 20 (the regular number of spell slots up to level 7, just take the 2 from 7 and add it to 3 and 2)
So you start off with a ‘die’ (for now a d4) and with 2 level 1 “spell slots”. Before casting a spell, you roll the die to see if your spell casts. If it is 1 or 2, you can cast a level 1 spell, if it is 3 or 4, you ‘overcast’ and can’t cast magic for a turn (out of battle roll until you can cast, that is your prepared spell).
When you level up, you get a level 1 and level 2 spell slot! Yayyy! So you can cast level 2 spells (at a 25% chance)
However. When you next level up, you get another level 1 spell slot. I’ll explain exactly how spell slots are distributed (this applies for all dice). Starting from the lowest number, it goes all of your first level spell slots, then all of your second level spell slots, then all your third, etc. so with a d4 at level 3, even though you know level 2 spells, you can’t cast them, because you’d only ever roll level 1. If you want to be able to cast level 2 spells, you’d have to upgrade to a d6, and risk overcasting. (I wrote that before figuring out the spell slot distribution, so technically you can cast level 2 at level 3, but it’d be a 25% with d4 compared to 33% with d6). Think of cast die as just a weapon like a staff or wand.
This continues all the way up to level 20, but you don’t gain spell slots when you gain a feat.
You have your prepared spell (you can’t overcast out of battle) and when you cast it, you expend that slot and can reroll. At level 5, 10, and 15 (see what I did there) you don’t expend level 1, 2, and 3 spell slots respectively, so they essentially become cantrips. At level 10, 15, and 20, you can use level 1, 2, and 3 spells as actual cantrips respectively, but you don’t reroll the cast die. This means if you want to save your big level 6 spell, you’re not completely locked out of spellcasting.
To properly define overcasting:
Overcast: you cannot cast spells (if you’re multiclassing, you cannot cast other class’ spells either). You can cast cantrips. Roll your cast die at the start of your turn, and lost overcast.
Level 1 spells are pretty basic, like “roll your cast die. Deal that amount of damage.”, or the level 3 “roll your cast die. That number of creatures in an 18m radius take 1d8 damage (plus 1d8 every 5 levels)”. Just spells with high variance. Higher level spells tap into the true potential of probability manipulation, like a level 4 “you and every creature in a 9m radius rolls your cast die (or equivalent). The creature(s) closest to your roll take damage equal to your roll. If it’s equal to what they rolled, this crits. If you rolled a 20, double the damage.” And a level 6 “choose a creature. Every d20 roll they make is a 20. Every d20 roll you make is a 1.”
Anyway here’s the grid:
Level # | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | recommended cast die
Level 1 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | d4
Level 2 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | d4
Level 3 | 3 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | d6
Level 4 | 3 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | d6 (feat, no spell slots)
Level 5 | 4 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | d6 (level 1 are cantrips)
Level 6 | 4 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | d8
Level 7 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | d12
Level 8 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | d12 (feat, no spell slots)
Level 9 | 4 | 4 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | d12
Level 10| 4 | 4 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 0 | d12 (level 2 are cantrips)
Level 11| 4 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 0 | 0 | d20
Level 12| 4 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 0 | 0 | d20 (feat, no spell slots)
Level 13| 4 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 0 | 0 | d20
Level 14| 4 | 4 | 3 | 3 | 0 | 0 | d20
Level 15| 4 | 4 | 4 | 3 | 1 | 0 | d20 (level 3 are cantrips)
Level 16| 4 | 4 | 4 | 3 | 1 | 0 | d20 (feat, no spell slots)
Level 17| 4 | 4 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 0 | d20
Level 18| 4 | 4 | 4 | 3 | 3 | 0 | d20
Level 19| 4 | 4 | 4 | 3 | 3 | 0 | d20 (feat, no spell slots)
Level 20| 4 | 4 | 4 | 3 | 3 | 2 | d20
I should go to sleep. Please ask questions, I don’t want to sleep.
