Thank God I found someone else who wasn't jazzed about Peach's voice in the movie. "Luigi, you were so brave" should have been a much sweeter line than it was but it was the flattest read in the whole movie in my opinion.

As much as I like that line in and of itself... yeah 😬

The thing is, Anya Taylor-Joy is by far the least experienced person in the main cast when it comes to voice acting. Seth Rogan, Keagan Michael Key, Jack Black, Chris Pratt, and Charlie Day have already got quite a few animated movie/tv show titles under their belt. I think the only other voice part Anya played was like... the lead lady from the Playmobil movie everyone forgot about?

Not to discredit her abilities as a film actress! But screen acting and voice acting are very different ballparks.

I just hope she is aware of this and puts some effort into doing better in future animated projects.

its so funny to me that despite mario and sonic being defined by deliberately being fundamentally different from each other both franchises ended up having their main antagonists be single dads of way too many children (the koopalings count fuck canon). like both Nintendo and Sega decided to make the main villains of their flagship franchise The DILFs Of All Time bc they both realised that was in fact objectively peak gaming and they were CORRECT.

Anyway, did you miss me? I’m back. And since last month I left you with a chibi Waluigi, I thought it was only fair to come back with him as well. Here you go, here’s the internets greatest sex icon 🤣. So I decided to play around with his outfit. He seems like a type of person that doesn’t wear socks. I gave him some classy loafers. The story I’m imagining here is typical Wario & Waluigi shenanigans. They lose at a sport and they decide they’re just going to cause mayhem. You can decide if they succeed or not 🤷🏽‍♀️. And one last thing. I know I said I was going to work on more art during the month I was “gone”. Which I did, just not enough I feel. I was mostly working on myself. Which is really fun! So I don’t regret doing that. Just expect few drawings than usual. Oh and a few days ago I was chased by a tarantula hawk wasp, all the way to my car. That wasn’t a fun experience. I was screaming the entire time 🤣. Anyway stay safe and hydrated 🌸!

Ok but like, I wish the games would explore the lesser known traits of Bowser and Eggman.

Eggman has physical strength that is kinda unexplored, yet he's so used to utilizing his intelligence and machinery which has become his iconic trait, so it goes unnoticed.

Like the only game I could think of where his strength is shown is in Sonic Lost World.

Same with Bowser being smart and manipulative. Although, he's more well known for his brute force and strength.

The only games I can think of his intelligence coming into play are 3D Land with tricking Mario with a fake Peach, Odyssey where he had the trap door, and Dream Team where he joined Antasma only to double cross him for his own gain later.

I could be missing a few games for both, but the point stands, I'd just like to see these two get more rounded out in their villainy and display more than just their iconic traits.
