Maximizing Profits Through Margin Trading Funding and MTF Trade Options
Tumblr media
In today's fast-paced financial world, margin trading has become a popular method for investors to maximize their profits and leverage their investments. Understanding the intricacies of margin trading facility, margin trading funding, and margin trading options, including MTF trade, can significantly impact your investment strategy. Integrated Enterprises (India) Pvt. Ltd brings you a comprehensive guide to unlocking the potential of margin trading and making informed decisions.
Introduction
Margin trading is a powerful tool that allows investors to amplify their buying power by borrowing funds from a broker. This enables traders to control larger positions with a smaller amount of capital. Margin trading facility provides the flexibility to take advantage of market opportunities that may not be accessible with just cash in hand.
Margin Trading Funding: Leveraging Your Investments
Margin trading funding involves borrowing money to invest in securities, using your existing investments as collateral. By using this strategy, investors can potentially earn higher returns on their investments than if they were to use only their own capital. However, it's important to note that margin trading funding also carries a higher level of risk, as losses can exceed the initial investment.
Exploring Margin Trading Options
When it comes to margin trading options, investors have a variety of strategies to choose from, including long and short positions, leverage, and options trading. Margin trading options provide traders with the flexibility to tailor their investment approach to their risk tolerance and market outlook.
Maximizing Your Returns with MTF Trade
MTF trade, or Multilateral Trading Facility trade, is a trading platform that allows investors to trade financial instruments in a transparent & cost efficient manner and access to a wider range of trading opportunities. By incorporating MTF trade into your investment strategy, you can diversify your portfolio and potentially increase your returns.
Conclusion
Integrated Enterprises (India) Pvt. Ltd emphasizes the importance of understanding margin trading facility, margin trading funding, and MTF trade options for maximizing profits and optimizing your investment strategy. By integrating these tools into your trading approach, you can unlock new opportunities and achieve your financial goals.

one of my friends (also a leftist) said that because we live in utah, it doesn't matter who he votes for, and there's no way he will vote for a "fucking cop who was complicit in genocide."
he is telling his friends in utah that they have zero say in who is president, so they shouldn't vote for harris.
and, i love him, but i think that line of thinking is really damaging.
if the stakes were lower for this election, then sure! i'm all in favor of third parties, and i do think that should be more normalized. it would be great to get to a point where we have more viable options than just democrats and republicans.
but this election is against trump. if trump wins, we get project 2025.
this isn't your father's republican party that just wanted to lower taxes and have more free trade. we are looking at rights being taken away for several marginalized communities. major changes that will set us back decades. there is too much on the line, and harris needs every single vote she can get.
saying you won't vote for harris because you live in a red state and don't think your vote will count... like a vote for a third party will??
you're really just saying that you don't mind trump winning, or if you do, you aren't willing to actually do what it takes to stop it.
as for being complicit with the genocide, aren't we all? our tax money is going to the genocide. we are complicit, whether we like it or not.
and harris has openly advocated for a ceasefire! also, do you think trump won't be complicit in the genocide? do you not think he would actively support israel? i'd rather have a president that calls for a ceasefire than one who doesn't. i'd rather have a president who is willing to push back on israel than one who be pushed around by israel.
there's more hope for a ceasefire with harris than there is with trump, and that's worth something.
my friend said "when people look back at your history, don't let them see your name next to a war criminal's."
honestly? in this election, i would rather have my name seen next to harris because that shows i understood that the future of our country and the safety of its citizens was more important than my personal moral superiority.
i don't just vote to make a fucking point. i vote because it impacts people's lives.
it seriously feels like some people are okay with watching the country burn, as long as they feel morally superior.

One of the things I find most loathsome about JD Vance is how much he's parlayed identity politics over the course of his career while seeking to deny that that's the root of his success. I mean, everything he does and says is prefaced with his Appalachian hardscrabble backstory. He got a free ride at Yale because of it. Wrote a book, optioned the movie rights, all acclaimed, etc. etc., based off of it. All of this, to me, is nothing more than trading off of his, what I think one might even fairly describe as marginalized background. Which I wouldn't begrudge him, if not for the fact of his monstrous, simply repulsive hypocrisy... In some ways, the typical inability of a white man to see or understand the ramifications of his own identity, but like, taken to new depths of depravity.
That, and he's a fucking creeper

Humans are weird: The Pettiness of Man
( Please come see me on my new patreon and support me for early access to stories and personal story requests :D https://www.patreon.com/NiqhtLord Every bit helps)
Human pocket kingdoms were the result of the fragmented nature of humanity’s space exploration and settlement programs. Central authority still resided with the Terran Protectorate the closer one got to the Terran homeworld, but the further one went the less and less power the Protectorate had leaving opportunistic parties to establish their own domains.
The Federalist Union and Kingdom of the Fallen Sun were two such domains. Each situated in their own star system neighboring the other, the two realms had at one point been part of what was known as the Caspen Initiative. Funded by the Caspen Corporation, both systems were colonized and put under direct corporate rule rather than the laws of the Protectorate.
The Truna System held the most infrastructure and had turned its settlements into thriving cities. The comforts of the core worlds could be found here in abundance leading to a higher quality of life. It was here Caspen situated their corporate headquarters for the initiative which further led to the system becoming a major trade hub.
In contrast, the Kefer System was still largely untamed and wild yet rich with natural resources. Caspen did not wish to risk losing more experienced personnel on these planets nor take the time to invest in an expensive robotic work force. The wildlife across all the planets within the Kefer System was extremely hostile and dangerous; resulting in the failures of two colonization attempts already. In the end Caspen instead was able to obtain several transports of convicted criminals and turn them into penal laborers.  Fortified factories were established with a heavily armed guard force watching over the laborers and delivering them expected quotas. In exchange for their labor they were provided with basic necessities for living and comfort; though the prisoners soon realized that the corporate ideal of “comfort” was often the least expensive option they could find.
Initially the management of both systems under the Caspen Corporation went well the company saw ever increasing share values. Unsurprisingly though, corporations are not equipped to act as a governing body and rifts soon began brewing in both systems. In Truna, the citizens began moving for more reasonable work hours and a louder voice in who is selected for high level positions. Around the same time the penal laborers in Kefer began planning mass revolts to overthrow an increasingly oppressive guard force that repeatedly put them in danger for the sake of profit margins. Caspen naturally tried to clamp down on the unrest, but their often heavy handed retaliations only further inflamed dissident movements to the point open revolt occurred almost simultaneously.
The resulting struggle would eventually see the complete removal of the Caspen Corporation from both systems, but also lay the groundwork for future conflicts between the newly established Federalist Union of the Truna system and the Kingdom of the Fallen Sun in the Kefer System.
The Unionists of Truna saw the penal laborers as nothing more than convicts and refused to recognize their newly founded kingdom as legitimate. Likewise the newly freed prisoners of Kefer, under their chosen king Sigvold the Mad, saw the citizens of Truna as part of the corporate machine that had made their lives a living hell and wanted nothing to do with them.
Each side regards the other as being the natural aggressor, but to finding the truth of who fired the first shot will never be known. What is certain is that not long after their corporate overlords were driven away did both systems set their sights on each other.
For nearly two centuries both systems have been at war with each other with the Federalist Union developing into a thriving independent system and the Kingdom of the Fallen Sun becoming a haven for every backwater, illegal, and nefarious scoundrel the galaxy has to offer. The Federalist council has attempted to isolate the Kefer system via naval blockades, while the new king Haren Hammer launches periodic raids against the Union to steal technology and supplies.
It looked like the stalemate would continue until the end of time until a third party intervened.
The alien species Gresh’n had been eyeing the prosperous worlds in the Truna System and had waited for the right moment to strike and claim them for their own. This moment came when the Federalist Union deployed the majority of their fleet to make yet another attempt to destroy the Kingdom of the Fallen Sun and remove the corruption so close to their doorstep.
Once the Gresh’n confirmed both human fleets were locked in deadly battle did they commit their own forces to invading the Federalist Union.
Caught completely unaware, the forces left to protect the borders of the Federalist Union were easily swept aside in a series of lightning strikes. Even the capital world came under siege with Gresh’n forces poised to conquer the world in little more than a month.
Just when the system was at its darkest something beyond comprehension happened.
At the outskirts of the Truna System the Gresh’n detected a massive fleet. The picket lines established to screen the main invasion force were decimated and when the mystery fleet finally held orbit and squared off with the primary fleet of the Gresh’n military they were surprised to see that it was comprised of both Unionist and Kingdom forces. Before the final battle commenced a system wide broadcast went out originating from the Kingdom’s flagship and personal ship of king Harren Hammer.
“YOU FUCKING INGRATES!!!” the pocket king shouted into the camera, “YOU’VE RUINED EVERYTHING!!!!”
“FOR YEARS I PLANNED THE PERFECT WAR TO END THESE UNION BASTARDS ONCE AND FOR ALL AND YOU COME ALONG AND FUCK IT UP! I WILL NOT HAVE MY VICTORY STOLEN FROM ME!”
With that the massed armada descended on both the Gresh’n fleet and their forces on the capital world. The civilized citizens of the Union watched as they were rescued by pirates, thieves, criminals, and every variety of psychopaths the galaxy had a name for while overhead Kingdom junkers and corsair ships boarded Gresh’n ships and took them as trophies.
After thirteen hours of intense fighting the Gresh’n finally flung up the proverbial white flag and surrendered. King Harren replied that he would give them a three hour head start and that after that every Gresh’n in system would be hunted down and killed. In its weakened state the Federalist Union could not oppose this decision and so remained quiet.
Three hours passed and true to his word King Harren began a massive hunt the likes of which are still spoken of. Fleeing Gresh’n ships were magnetically harpooned as they fled and dragged back to be boarded by cutthroats while Gresh’n ground forces pleaded to deaf eared Union citizens for shelter as the Kingdom vagabonds scoured the planet for new trophies.
When the hunt was finally finished there was no exchange of thanks, nor celebration held in honor of their saviors. The forces of the kingdom withdrew one by one, hulls full of new bounty, until only King Harren’s flagship remained.
“You get five years to rebuild.” He said over another system wide broadcast. “After that I’m coming back and taking this all proper.”
With that final ominous warning the pocket king left.
The effects of the Gresh’n failed invasion would have limited impact on the wider galaxy save for the fact it would teach future alien leaders that when considering invasions of human territory, one could not always count on the enemy of your enemy being your friend.

And unrelated, but how do you think Fallout handles the occasional supernatural elements? Do you think they should stay as occasional homages to the pulp serial roots, or would they withstand being integrated more firmly into the setting?
Despite my intense affection for that entire side of things I think it's in a similar spot to their occasional forays into the superhero stuff- it objectively fits within the setting, it's no weirder than anything else we're supposed to take seriously, but there's a risk that if they take it too seriously it'll completely eat the worldbuilding- and worse, mainlining the Ug-Qualtoth plot would result in the Ug-Qualtoth plot being handled by whoever it is that writes the main plots for these games. A lot of the genuinely solid writing at Bethesda happens in the margins because it's in the margins- everything interesting about the supernatural wouldn't survive the sterilizing wavelength of the main quest spotlight. That said, if they're ever dumb enough to let me write a Fallout game, you are going, and this is non-negotiable, you are going to run into a small band of amicable Zetan worker drones who escaped to earth in the aftermath of the Mothership Zeta DLC, all of whom worship the Lone Wanderer as a Messianic figure for murdering their bosses, decorating their lair with vault 101 iconography and shrines and whatnot. There will be no quest directly associated with them but they will be unavoidably, undeniably canon, there will be no escape from it, there will be no wild wasteland figleaf. They will trade energy weapons and other tinkerwork to the nearby settlements like militant Keebler elves. It will permanently alter the dialogue options available to you if you're asked if you believe in aliens. Knowing about them will open up orthogonal solutions to other side quests. You will communicate with them primarily through SPECIAL-gated pantomime in a way that limits actual concrete expansion of the Zetan lore in a deliberately frustrating way. It will wrap around the rest of the game like a strangler vine and people who hate fun will fold in on themselves in a singularity of aesthetic distaste

Gonna make this a quick one since I just don’t have the spoons for a really big effort post: Pre-CCP 20th Century China Did Not Have Feudal or Slave-like Land Tenancy Systems
Obviously what counts as “slave-like” is going to be subjective, but I think it's common, for *ahem* reasons, for people to believe that in the 1930’s Chinese agriculture was dominated by massive-scale, absentee landlords who held the large majority of peasant workers in a virtual chokehold and dictated all terms of labor.
That is not how Chinese land ownership & agricultural systems worked. I am going to pull from Chinese Agriculture in the 1930s: Investigations into John Lossing Buck’s Rediscovered ‘Land Utilization in China’ Microdata, which is some of the best ground-level data you can get on how land use functioned, in practice, in China during the "Nanjing Decade" before WW2 ruins all data collection. It looks at a series of north-central provinces, which gives you the money table of this:
Tumblr media
On average, 4/5ths of Chinese peasants owned land, and primarily farmed land that they owned. Tenancy was, by huge margins, the minority practice. I really don’t need to say more than this, but I'm going to because there is a deeper point I want to make. And it's fair to say that while this is representative of Northern China, Southern China did have higher tenancy rates - not crazy higher, but higher.
So let's look at those part-owner farmers; sounds bad right? Like they own part of their land, but it's not enough? Well, sometimes, but sometimes not:
Tumblr media
A huge class (about ~1/3rd) of those part-owners were farming too much land, not too little; they were enterprising households renting land to expand their businesses. They would often engage in diversified production, like cash crops on the rented land and staple crops on their owned land. Many of them would actually leave some of their owned land fallow, because it wasn’t worth the time to farm!
Meanwhile the small part-owners and the landless tenant farmers would rent out land to earn a living…sometimes. Because that wasn’t the only way to make a living - trades existed. From our data, if you are a small part-owner, you got a substantial chunk of your income from non-farm labor; if you owned no land you got the majority of your income from non-farm labor:
Tumblr media
(Notice how that includes child labor by default, welcome to pre-modernism!)
So the amount of people actually doing full-tenancy agriculture for a living is…pretty small, less than 10% for sure. But what did it look like for those who do? The tenancy rates can be pretty steep - 50/50 splits were very common. But that is deceiving actually; this would be called “share rent”, but other systems, such as cash rents, bulk crop rents, long-term leases with combined payment structures, etc, also existed and were plentiful - and most of those had lower rent rates. However, share rent did two things; one, it hedged against risk; in the case of a crop failure you weren't out anything as the tenant, a form of insurance. And two, it implied reciprocal obligations - the land owner was providing the seed, normally the tools as well, and other inputs like fertilizer.
Whether someone chose one type of tenancy agreement or the other was based on balancing their own labor availability, other wage opportunities, the type of crop being grown, and so on. From the data we have, negotiations were common around these types of agreements; a lot of land that was share rent one year would be cash rent another, because the tenants and market conditions shifted to encourage one or the other form.
I’m doing a little trick here, by throwing all these things at you. Remember the point at the top? “Was this system like slavery?” What defines slavery? To me, its a lack of options - that is the bedrock of a slave system. Labor that you are compelled by law to do, with no claim on the output of that work. And as I hit you with eight tiers of land ownership and tenancy agreements and multi-source household incomes, as you see that the median person renting out land to a tenant farmer was himself a farmer as a profession and by no means some noble in the city, what I hope becomes apparent is that the Chinese agricultural system was a fully liquid market based on choice and expected returns. By no means am I saying that it was a nice way to live; it was an awful way to live. But nowhere in this system was state coercion the bedrock of the labor system. China’s agricultural system was in fact one of the most free, commercial, and contract-based systems on the planet in the pre-modern era, that was a big source of why China as a society was so wealthy. It was a massive, moving market of opportunities for wages, loans, land ownership, tenancy agreements, haggled contracts, everyone trying in their own way to make the living that they could.
It's a system that left many poor, and to be clear injustices, robberies, corruption, oh for sure were legion. Particularly during the Warlord Era mass armies might just sweep in and confiscate all your hard currency and fresh crops. But, even ignoring that the whole ‘poverty’ thing is 90% tech level and there was no amount of redistribution that was going to improve that very much, what is more important is that the pre-modern world was *not* equally bad in all places. The American South was also pretty poor, but richer than China in the 19th century. And being a slave in the American South was WAY worse than being a peasant in China during times of peace - because Confederate society built systems to remove choice, to short-circuit the ebb and flow of the open system to enshrine their elite ‘permanently’ at the top. If you lived in feudal Russia it was a good deal worse, with huge amounts of your yearly labor compelled by the state onto estates held by those who owned them unimpeachably by virtue of their birthright (though you were a good deal richer just due to basic agriculture productivity & population density, bit of a tradeoff there).
If you simply throw around the word “slavery” to describe every pre-modern agricultural system because it was poor and shitty, that back-doors a massive amount of apologia for past social systems that were actively worse than the benchmarks of the time. Which is something the CCP did; their diagnosis of China’s problem for the rural poor of needing massive land redistribution was wrong! It was just wrong, it was not the issue they were having. It was not why rural China was often poor and miserable. It could help, sure, I myself would support some compensated land redistribution in the post-war era as a welfare idea for a fiscally-strapped state. But that was gonna do 1% of the heavy lifting here in making the rural poor's lives better. And I don’t think we should continue to the job of spreading the CCP's propaganda for them.
There ya go @chiefaccelerator, who alas I was not permitted to compel via state force into writing this for me, you Qing Dynasty lazy peasant.

i am a trans man who has been transitioning with top surgery for years, but still only like 50/50 passing. still legally female.
i joined a trade union on a social media post asking for women to recruit, as they have a goal of 10% women, and currently are at less then 1%. i know that certain government based jobs require a certain amount of women working on them, so sometimes i have a bit of an advantage being dispatched to a new company over a cis man apprentice.
ive had some people say its wrong to take advantage of this, because if i want to be a man, i shouldn't use these spaces that were made for trying to get more women to join the trade. but i don't think im really taking space from women, because theyre still not even close to their goal, and most women don't even consider this trade a viable option anyways (hence the extremely low numbers, despite the fact they are actively trying to reach out and recuit women)
I think that's the right call. I mean, consider why they have that ratio requirement in the first place; you are not Taking Up Women's Space As A Privileged Man. They are trying to create space for people who are marginalized for their gender and may struggle to find space in the field otherwise, and you fall under that umbrella as a trans person.
Also, like, as someone who works in education: it's still more common for trans men and transmascs generally to be working in education than it is for trans women, even though cis women are vastly more represented in the field than cis men are. [source] (I would not be super surprised if the reverse was true for tech, but I can't find stats on it.)
I think it's a lot more complex than just "AGAB socialization" or whatever, but it's silly to pretend that the possibilities you were raised to see for yourself based on the gender other people thought you were are like, completely irrelevant just because you're trans.

Pokemon Card of the Day #3239: Arcanine (Unbroken Bonds)
Tumblr media
This Arcanine was a bit of a surprise. A Stage 1 that soaked up a lot of Energy wasn't typically a big contributor. When that Stage 1 still only gave up 1 Prize while having good damage, having access to Welder, and being able to accelerate Energy to other things all at the same time, things were a little different. You typically wanted to get a good attack off on turn 2 if you ended up going first, and it was very possible that Arcanine could do just that. There were multiple cards to get into place, but if anything was going to make this idea work in 2019 it was going to be something like this.
140 HP was pretty good for a Stage 1, making sure that the opponent actually had to get out their full power attacks to take this down in 1 hit from full health. One notable thing was that in SUM-On you didn't have to worry so much about the quick Zoroark-GX KO. The Water Weakness, on the other hand, did let Dewgong get some more progress when trying to hit the Bench. The Retreat Cost was the main problem, as 4 Energy was too much to manually retreat with. Switch was a common inclusion in decks running this as a result.
Grand Flame was the big move here. 120 damage for 3 Fire Energy, while below the strongest attacks in the game, was plenty strong for a Pokemon like this. It was enough because the effect helped too: Attaching 2 Fire Energy cards from your discard pile to 1 of your Benched Pokemon let you do a solid chunk of damage while also helping set up. This was used in some early Reshiram & Charizard-GX decks as a result, as this was about as ideal of a turn 2 attack as you'd find.
Heat Tackle was even stronger. 190 damage was amazing from a single Prize Pokemon, and anything marginally weakened would be scared of this. 4 Fire Energy was a lot to commit to, and Arcanine did do 50 damage to itself which could be a problem if it had taken any attack at all previously. This wasn't the most common move to use but could blow something up in a few spots if you had this still going and Grand Flame wasn't the better move.
Arcanine was seen a bit in SUM-On Fire decks as going for the turn 2 Grand Flame could get damage and Energy on the board at once. If going first, this was a great option, while Volcanion was better if going second for the more accessible turn 1 attack. Arcanine was a Stage 1, after all, so it had to be used in the other way for maximum effect. Once the format rotated and the game shifted more to a lot of Basic decks, Arcanine wasn't quite as impressive and the HP was less and less likely to take a second turn hit. Arcanine was mostly dropped from the decks it was used in by that point. Arcanine was still rather good in the SUM-On format since its traits really did fit well in said format, with enough match-ups to get a second Heat Tackle off available and Prize trades with acceleration at once coming out more nicely in general due to the different numbers of the format.

In our current society (in North America and much of the western world) we can't completely avoid capitalism, but with some work and dedication we can reduce how much we have to participate in it.
Building community is hard, and it often requires a lot of up front investment in time and energy before you start seeing returns on that investment. I know not everyone is in a place where they can make those expenditures without getting anything back right away which is why it's even more important for those of us who can to start building sooner rather than later.
When you have a healthy, thriving community of people you can start withdrawing yourself more and more from reliance on a broken capitalist system. Yes there's mutual aid within a community but what's even more exciting to me is the option of participating in a barter/trade economy because it's so often more empowering for disabled folks and other marginalized groups that struggle in a capitalist economy.
And even more importantly than that, it's how we can survive a political landscape that is openly hostile to us. It's as impossible to avoid the fallout of the current political situation as it is to avoid participating in a capitalist economy, but being part of a strong and healthy community can at least help mitigate some of the harmful effects.
Neighbours sharing produce from their gardens can lessen the chances of food-borne illness as a result of lax food safety regulations.
Creating, maintaining, and sharing resources that help marginalized groups can help protect vulnerable people in your area when the larger resources are being dismantled or when people acting in bad faith are pretending to be a helpful organization.
Communities have more leverage (and resources) when it comes time to put pressure on local government to make progressive changes
As communities grow, empathy and compassion for the people in the community also spreads and that can help create allies against the bigotry and prejudice some of the community members face. When you're in community together with someone it's harder to depersonalize them. They aren't [insert oppressed group] member, they're the person who walks your dog and brings you beets in exchange for piano lessons, or the person who loaned you a spare tire so you could go to work and when you got home that evening they'd fixed your flat tire for free because they had the time and some spare material laying around from a repair they did on their own tire.
It's going to be really easy to give in to despair in the coming months and I'm not going to lie and say you can survive it. Some folks won't. I'm not going to lie and promise if you can make it through that things will get easier, they might not!
But if you can hang on I can promise you there's a chance things will get better, and I can promise you there's a whole heck of a lot of us out there trying to make sure it does get better. I can promise you that building community will help you survive when things start getting harder, and I can promise you that community can be a beacon of light in dark times, a bastion of hope in a desert of despair.
I know you're tired and I'll understand if you can't keep fighting, but I really hope you've got enough resilience left to hang on long enough to find a community to be part of.

The EUV trades a marginal amount of nimbleness for its gains, and it also costs a bit more, but it’s worth it.
Available since July 2’nd for “No Limits” and “All Inclusive” tiers exclusively.

okay fuck it i posted about hypothetical arknights fighting game and immediately got massive brainworms about it so without further ado:
My Pitch For An Arknights Fighting Game Roster
Amiya - Obligatory standard Shoto with her sword and Arts. She has relatively mediocre projectiles, but her metered projectiles are extremely strong to reflect that her Arts take a lot out of her to use. Honest, but with a lot of mastery required to truly excel.
Ch’en - Rushdown Shoto with some close-range projectiles with Chi Xiao - Unsheathe and maybe the inkbrush Arts she uses in her skin because let’s face it, they’ll never give her the water cannon. The Sol to Amiya's Ky, the Ken to her Ryu.
Kal’tsit - Puppet character with Mon3tr. Her close range buttons are competent, but flawed, but they’re just enough to give her absurd combo synergy with Mon3tr. Can trade her own meter to heal Mon3tr’s Obligatory Pet Balance Meter.
Talulah - Midrange projectile-focused character who uses powerful multihit projectiles to confirm into brutal melee combos. Can enter an Install state where she does self-damage as she catches on fire, but hits like a goddamned truck. She stays back, destroying you from afar, then closing in to make you regret being born when she has to.
Frostnova - Full on zoner, keep the opponent away, dominate the stage, and freeze them in place before they can ever think of approaching you. Has a kit made of long-ranged, disjointed full-screen normals like Hilda (UNIST), but in exchange, they’re all highly situational with massive blindspots, forcing you to play smart, predict your opponent, or they’ll close in and overpower you.
Patriot - Bigbody Grappler. Hits like a truck, but advances slowly. Changes the entire pace of the match simply by existing, and feels like an unstoppable force who you are never safe from until you’re sure he’s dead.
Skadi - Midrange melee-focused character. Simple and honest, she doesn’t need a lot of frills to absolutely kick your ass. Has very little mechanics, but is nonetheless intimidating partially because of that. Has an Install providing herself with a buff that looks like the Corrupting Heart buffs. Honestly only here because she consistently tops popularity charts by a huge margin.
Texas the Omertosa - Extremely fast rushdown, Chipp Zanuff-style. Is able to extend combos that would otherwise drop with her Sword Rain that works similar to Seth (UNIST)’s Orbs. Either she ends the fight before you have a chance to even start it, or she dies quickly as a result.
Nearl the Radiant Knight - Mixup heavy aggressive character, pushes against the opponent with unrelenting force until they break, feeling like an unstoppable force that rushes in, full speed ahead. Has tools to punish basically any sort of behavior, but all her options are extremely reactable. But when you’re up against someone who is capable of so much, it may not matter that much. I-No (Strive) and what little I remember of Roa (MBTL) is a bit of a touchstone here.
Ling - Trap-heavy setplay character with powerful full-screen combo potential. Extremely powerful, but has to get her summons set up first, and if she is able to get the opponent playing her game, she is almost unstoppable with her summons’ projectiles and powerful combo-extending sword swings.
The Endspeaker - A technical, setplay and stage-control heavy midrange zoner. Can spread Nethersea Brand by summoning Sea Terror minion that, when killed, drops a patch of Brand. You can then fire projectiles that leave Shells on the Brand. You can dive into the Brand to pop out of the ground with a bite, consuming the shell to grow stronger. After consuming two shells, you cap out, and your teleport changes to a low that teleports you to your opponent, acting as a starter to do brutal melee combos on counterhit. Focuses on feeling like they control the very environment, like an unstoppable force of nature that only grows stronger as you desperately try to stop it. Yes, this is only here because I had a strong-ass pitch for it.
Emperor feat. Penguin Logistics - Joke character, kinda. Emperor’s kit involves summoning the other PL members for his specials, which are all really solid to cover for the fact that his normals are shit on account of his stubby little penguin body. Exusiai focuses on ranged attacks, allowing some sort of zoning in specific directions. Croissant gives approach tools by shielding him as he walks or by golfing him with a hammer. Texas gives combo extenders with Sword rain or with long flurries of blows that keep the opponent locked there for a short time. Sora is entirely in your taunts because she's not much of a fighter like the others.
But what would a fighting game be without DLC that's planned from launch?
DLC Lineup 1
Gavial the Invincible - A relatively mobile grappler, focusing on long combos and hitgrabs similar to Bullet (Blazblue), Beowulf (Skullgirls) or Grappler (DNF Duel). Has the ability to heal herself with a special that requires her to stand still, encouraging an opponent to approach her when they otherwise would play defensive, because Gavial is the kind of person who you have to face head-on, she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Specter the Unchained - Stance change, switching between Laurentina and Specter. Laurentina is a shield pressure monster, a mixup-heavy character with strong multihit overheads and lows like Bedman? (Strive) or Anji (Strive) (but good). Meanwhile Specter is a defensive neutral-heavy character with strong space control with her Arts, with high meter gain on her moves that Laurentina can easily capitalize on. Plays with the opponent like she is dancing, forcing them to keep up with her rhythm, confusing them with steps they can never understand, then asserting her own tempo if they try to take it back.
Mlynar - A highly defensive character who completely relies on counterhits for combo starters. But those combos, hoooly shit. Has parries and counters to play defensive, read the opponent’s options, and then strike when he is sure he can land a blow. He only draws his sword when he’s sure it will land.
Chongyue - A technical, rekka and cancel-focused close-range fighter similar to Jam (Xrd) and Enkidu (UNIST). Has a hard time getting in, but has massive reward when he does. Has the ability to use mid-range sandstorm-based strikes and Orbs like Aoko (MBTL), but has to focus to gain charges on his sandstorm specials like Jam (Xrd). Takes mastery, but when you learn his complicated kit, he’s an unstoppable force. Takes off his jacket in round 5, and yes, this is important.
Redblade - Install-focused character. Gains new Contracts as the match progresses similar to Susanoo (Blazblue), growing stronger with each Contract, until he gains 8 stacks, where he becomes the strongest character in the game. Maybe he straight up hijacks the music to play Operation Basepoint when he gets max Contract.
