I love idea that the reason why Slenderman doesn't appear in houses much is because he's too tall for most rooms. That he used to be everywhere but sometimes he would bonk his head or when he slouches over because the roof he doesn't look as scary and it makes him angry.
Just imagine Slenderman stalking you while you're sleeping and just *bonk* he hit his head on the ceiling
Bonus points if you got a ceiling fan, *bonk* *bonk* *bonk*

Date: Aug 28th
Prompt: Injury
Words: 425
James is injured during a quidditch match, and Regulus helps him out. (swf) @jegulus-microfic
When James opened his eyes, he was met with the marble ceiling of the infirmary. The last thing he remembered was falling, lots and lots of falling.
He turned his head to his right to find a sleeping Regulus who was still in his quidditch clothes and snoring lightly. James just watched the boy for a while, until his fingers twitched and his eyes fluttered open slowly.
"James!" He exclaims when he realises he's awake. Regulus was on his feet immediately and at James' side in an instant.
"Are you alright? Does it still hurt? Should I get Madam Pomfrey?" Regulus asked quickly.
James laughed, then winced after the action made his back hurt. Regulus looked at him concerned before James assured him,
"I'm fine." He holds Regulus' hand and smiles when he doesn't pull away. "You were worried," James teases, poking Regulus' side.
"You fell," he states, then rolls his eyes and pulls his hand away. "If you hadn't spent so much time flirting with me, you would've seen the bludger coming your way."
James gasps dramatically, "And miss your delightful reactions to my affection? Nuh uh."
Regulus sighs and turns to leave, which makes James sit up, wince, and grab the boys arm. Regulus turns back around.
"You're hurt,"
"I fell," James smirks, and Regulus rolls his eyes.
"Where?"
"My back,"
"Lay down,"
James hesitates but does it anyway. Regulus nudges him over so that he's lying on his stomach. Before James can register what's happening, Regulus has crawled on top of him and started earnestly massaging James' back.
It hurts a little, if he's being honest. But only because Regulus massages like he's angry at the person, which he very well might be.
James hums at the contact, though. He likes the weight of Regulus sitting on him, touching him, literally doing anything around him.
A few minutes pass by, and the door to the infirmary is opened, the sound of the latch echo's across the room along with the voices of James' friends.
"We should've come here first. Why'd we have to finish watching the match?" Peter says.
"James would want to know who won." Sirius answers.
Regulus is frozen for a moment before he quickly gets off James, collects his things, and leaves. Brushing past the Marauders quickly, hoping none of them pay too much attention to him.
Regulus is already out the door when he hears Sirius say,
"Was that Regulus?"
"Nah, probably just an injured Slytherin," Remus answers, and Regulus has never felt more grateful for his friend before.

Stunning Medieval Mosaic Floors of the Duomo Di Siena Are Revealed Only Twice a Year
Known in English as Siena Cathedral, the incredible Gothic masterpiece is richly decorated down to the dirt. Its incredible mosaic floor—largely created between 1370 and 1550 but not strictly finished until the 19th century—is only revealed twice a year, but the 56 marble inlay panels are a site to behold.

Columns of The Pantheon by Henrik Sundholm Via Flickr: Not your run of the mill shots of The Pantheon in Rome, Italy. The angles are all messed up, but I like it. It shows the grandeur of the site.
