Meeting the Nikau Family?
Ok. On my way to work while watching TikTok. I suddenly found THIS video with THIS audio.
And it just suddenly give me chills and pride to hear the Māori people (mostly women in here) singing this. And it gives me the thought if I should introduce you the family tree of the NIKAU.
If you remember about KOA "HUNTER" NIKAU and AROHA AREHE NIKAU. My OCs that I've created for the COD Black Ops: Cold War. These two used to be married, have three kids (only two remain now) and was divorced and was married AGAIN!
But does their family name stop from there? Shall I explain and tell you more about their family history? That will be another thing to tell later. For I have other things to finish before posting it here.
So stay TUNE for it!
Opt In/Out:
@justasmolbard @alypink @dirtfullofwork @kaitaiga
@deeptrashwitch @sweet-samnang @welldonekhushi
And also, spoiler alert for one of my mutual have given me the BEST name idea for one of the Nikau family future generations!
Tumblr media
So TAMA is one of the future generations for the Nikau family! I'm keeping it!

Pipette finally gets a face !!
She’s based on the Maori mythology of the Patupaiarehe (also known as Turahu). These fairy-like beings resemble classic gingers, sporting red hair, pale skin and a fear of light. They live in houses that couldn’t be seen by humans (like bunkers :3) and they are known for their incredible music.
Pipette is of Maori decent on her mother’s side, having been raised with many of the cultural practices in an effort to keep traditions alive in the generations after the apocalypse. On her father’s side, she is one of many redheads in her bunker. Redheads foster a unique ability to produce Vitamin D even with limited sunlight exposure, so their birth was often manufactured. Her father was part of this initiative.
Anyway, here she is: Pipette Turahu, my sweet

hi hi hi hi hi hi i saw ninjago whale shark oc and could not control the questions not forced obvi but tell me everythi g
thank you for a question!! we share the same love for aquatic-themed ocs<33 there's a lot about him, but i'm gonna go with some (mostly combat) facts:
Tumblr media
• He is born and raised in Māori culture, altough he is not 100% pureblood. They cherish their roots and practices their traditions a lot. Example on the right, where his "haka" is shown - "traditionally, haka was a customary way to welcome visiting tribes, but it also served to invigorate warriors as they headed into battle. It was a show of physical prowess but also an embodiment of cultural pride, strength, and unity"
• They're pacifist, but when there's no other option, they have mostly defence tactic - he uses elemental powers (minerals) to build up gauntlet and other armory parts. Also tries to immobalize opponent by trapping them in minerals
• Despite their size and quite long tail, Laz is quite swift and agile, using his mass against opponent. Altough they don't use these skills often.
Art requests and asks are open!

New dnd character: Mahuika!
Mahuika is a young barbarian proud of her roots. She is the only genasi in her tribe after several generations, and as such, she is regarded as "the savior of the people" or "the envoy of the gods." She feels the responsibility to protect her people, but she does not shy away from the titles that have been bestowed upon her over the years. She is confident and energetic, always ready for battle but also considers peaceful solutions as the first option. She loves nature and believes that we are all one with the elements, though her affinity for fire is very evident.

Violence is bad or whatever.
But.

You've gotta admit that it is bone-deep satisfying to watch a brown indigenous man single-handly choke the life out of a lily-white British colonizer.

The previous girl ever’s girlfriend and future wife!!! Waimarie is made of comfort and pure vibes. She is also very tired. She is everything and hates sea travel, which is ironic concidering her people’s proficiency in anything sea-related.
Her birth year is supposed to be 68 on all of these, I just didn’t count properly. Also i forgot her bodyhair in the first photo, i will never be forgiven.

From the amazing island empire of Waori'lu'kalai, one of the Great Powers in my City of Wizards book series! The Island of Waori is home to the capital and is roughly the size of Australia, with many similarities to the real world continent - including the amount of deadly land flora, fauna and landmarks.
Waori'lu'kalai has approximately two hundred smaller islands united under what was originally a federation of sea-faring tribes. One of the most famous locales is the Island of Wah'hi, which has a staggeringly large population of dwarves. An ancient settlement, Pahak'hi, was actually built into the local volcanic mountains by the locals who have flourished over time, and were one of the founding cultural members of the original Waori federation. The Pahak'hi people are legendarily daring warriors and skilled craftsmen, and honor their history and traditions very strictly - examplified by the Pahak'hi smith featured above!
