The one where Bruce is the asshole (again)
So! We have a typical story where the JLA finds out about the Situation in Amity.
Whichever way they find out doesn't matter, but either way they end up sending Batman to do a threat analysis and review of whether this requires their attention.
And while there, he runs into a Kid who obviously needs to be saved from his Abusive Home. Look at him, he's far too thin, his grades are horrible, he has many unexcused absences, and he has bruises hidden under his clothes.
Even after figuring out that Danny is Phantom the local Hero, he thinks Danny needs to be saved from his Parents.
I mean, it's plain to see! They Hates Ghosts with a Passion, negelct their son very often, shoot at him nearly every day, and are probably the ones who killed him in the first place!
So, with no input from Danny himself, Bruce calls CPS on the Fentons and uses his Wealth to expedite the process and avoid the actual Investigation. (I mean, why would you even need one? It's so obviously a bad home!)
The Fenton's are arrested, and Bruce reveals that Danny is Phantom to convince the Courts that they are horrible people for shooting at their own son, and that they should be locked up (ignoring the horrified looks on their faces, probably cause they were living with a Ghost for so long, thats probably why).
He immediately offers to adopt Danny, even when Danny vehemently refuses his offer. He knows that Danny will come around to it, he's doing this for his own good. He still thinks his Parents were good people, and not thr Villains they really were.
Meanwhile Danny's life has been completely uprooted thanks to the self-righteous machinations of an Adoption Crazed Fruitloop! And not even the usual one!
Sure his parents were often busy with their work, but they Always set aside time to hang out with their kids and make sure they were okay. They never abused him, the neglect was only for like a month or two when the portal before they got their act together and apologized for it, and (most importantly) THEY DIDN'T KNOW he was a Halfa when they shot at him! They only found out when the ASSHOLE revealed his Identity in Court!
And Danny is Extra enraged by that part. The Adoption Crazed Fruitloop had revealed his secret identity for the ENTIRE WORLD TO HEAR!
He would never be able to live a normal life anymore, even if he managed to get away from the Moron who caused all this!
Bruce Wayne was a Villain in his eyes.
He ripped him from his home and from his family (basically kidnapped), revealed his identity to the world so he was forced to stay with him for fear of the GIW, and spun the whole story so that it looked like he was the Good Guy in this!?
It was official. Danny Hates Bruce Wayne, possibly more than anyone else in the World.
And that's a High Bar.

"Administratively, too, [...] queens were considered the legal lords of their landholdings. [...] Grants noted that the queen's officials had administrative autonomy without being subject to the king or anyone else, and evidence of the same assumption can be gleaned from court rolls that were recorded with headings indicating the lord of the manor whose court proceedings were being enrolled. As an example, some court rolls for the manor of Haveringatte-Bower specified that it was the court of [Margaret of Anjou] that was in session, while later rolls recorded Elizabeth Woodville as the lord of the manor court."
-Michele Seah, 'My Lady Queen, the Lord of the Manor': The Economic Roles of Late Medieval Queens", Parergon, Volume 37, Number 2, 2020.
#queenship tag#margaret of anjou#elizabeth woodville#I really appreciated how Seah acknowledged the uneven surviving evidence for her subjects and how that affects her analysis.#It was very brief but it was more than what most historians do so it was very refreshing :)#my post#english history#this is for @ anon who asked if its true that Margaret mostly hosted her own courts while EW mostly stayed with her husband#I'm not sure which (if any) historian has said something like this* but I highly doubt it's true !#We don't really have solid itineraries in place for either queen to make any kind of firm conclusions of the sort#(ie: about their residences or anything else) though I'm sure it would have varied depending on the situation#But either way it's explicitly clear that both Margaret and Elizabeth held their own courts in their own lands on multiple occasions#And we also have evidence of both of them residing with their husbands in regular circumstances#*tbh this is too long to get into right now but this assumption does fit into the few 'revisionist' interpretations of both Margaret and EW#(which imo is just as degrading as her traditional interpretation for the latter) so I wouldn't be surprised if some#historians may have framed their situations in such a way and relied entirely on their own assumptions to do so#Either way as far as I know there is no evidence of any such contrast existing - at least not on a consistent basis.#and the evidence we do have contradicts the assumption#Hope this helps! I figured a proper excerpt from this article would clarify the point better than any direct answer from me <3#also in case anyone was wondering I *think* the title ('My Lady Queen the Lord of the Manor') was referring to administrative accounts#of EW based on what Seah wrote here - though ofc I'm not sure#queue

A Flower With Petals of Flame: Part two (Eris x Reader)
Warnings: Blood, that's kind of it I think.
Part one Part three

Stuck with Tamlin and Lucian, you make your way to The Manor. Can Y/n forgive Tamlin even after hundreds of years?
Tumblr media
“You- How- You’re-”  Tamlin sputtered and I crossed my arms, opting to look at Lucian.
“I’m as confused as he is.  I was dead one moment, then here the next.”  I say, shrugging.
They both go back to being silent.
I sigh, letting my shoulders slump as I look at the both of them.  “Listen, I don’t really know what the hell is going on, but I don’t fancy standing out here with the corpses forever.”
Lucian cleared his throat.  “Would you mind if we take you back to The Manor?”  He asked, and I almost felt bad that he was put in this position.
I shrug, knowing well that the rest of Tamlin’s family was dead.  “I’m not sure, how does the High Lord of Spring feel about this?”  I ask, turning to Tamlin.
He flinches, before quickly regaining his composure.  “Of course you can come to the Manor.”  He looked away the moment his eyes met mine, shame and guilt rolling off him in waves.
I nod, silent as I turn on my heel.  “We should get going then.”
Even after all these years, I could find my way through the spring court easily, noting the differences in the court now that Tamlin was the high lord.
I couldn’t help but notice that everything seemed a bit… wilted.  Not unlike its high lord.
“So, what’s with the cool eye?”  I ask Lucian, grinning at him.  He had always been fun, the way his words always seemed to have double meanings, or the way he could read people like a book.
He somehow got even more tense.  “A friend from the dawn court made it after I lost my eye.”  He said, no room for me to ask more.
The rest of the walk was only more uncomfortable as none of us spoke.
“So, what was it like?”  Lucian asked, not looking at me as we continued forward.
I snuck a look at Lucian, who was acting as if he hadn’t just asked about the secrets of the afterlife.
Even if I wanted to, I couldn’t tell him.
I shrugged.  “I’m not sure.  Honestly, it feels like I’ve been asleep for years, I don’t really remember anything in between.”
Lucian looked at me, his metal eye whirring.
Honestly, I didn’t care if he believed me at this point.  I was having a long day before I was brought here, and I was going to have to sleep soon.
Tamlin and Lucian noticed the way I paused when I saw The Manor, a horrified look on my face.  “What happened?”  I whispered, quick to start walking again.
Lucian looked over at Tamlin, obviously waiting for him to explain.
But he stayed silent.
He was still limping from the arrows he had pulled out, and I couldn’t help but wonder if some of the shaft was still stuck in there.
I looked to Lucian, and he sighed as we continued to the wrecked manor.  “There was an… incident, and the people of this court left.  It’s just us now.”
I nodded solemnly.  What the hell could have happened to scare off the whole court?
We made it to the front doors and Lucian pushed them open with some effort.
As we all went in, Lucian muttered something about making some tea, leaving me and Tamlin in the room alone.
He was still avoiding looking at me, but I was already sick of this.  “Either apologize or don’t, either way say something.”  I said, making myself sound confident.
He paused, finally looking at me.  He really looked tired.  “I doubt it means anything, but I’m sorry.  I truly am.”
I had been angry with him for a long time after I died, but I had found there are worse people than Tamlin.
So, with a shrug, I said, “I forgive you.  Now, can I take a look at your leg?  You’ve been wincing the whole time, you should have healed up by now.”
He looked at me, his mouth agape.
The girl he knew wouldn’t have forgiven him, more likely to throw a tantrum.  Again, I wasn’t that girl anymore.
I wonder what Rhysand was like now?
I pushed the thought from my mind, now wasn’t the time for that.
Sitting down, I motioned for him to do the same.  He followed over, watching me carefully as he made his way to his seat.
With no undue hesitation, I took his leg into my lap and took a look at the angry red mark on his leg.
I sighed.  “There is most definitely still some arrow in your leg.”  I looked up, and saw he had gotten some of his daggers back after the fight.  “May I have one?”
He hesitated, then took one of his daggers and handed it to me.
I held the knife carefully, and I looked up at Tamlin.  “I’m going to count down from three, and when I hit zero, I’m going to cut the wound, okay?”
It had been a long time since I had been in Prythain, but I most definitely remembered how reactive they could be, and I didn’t need a panicked high lord on my hands.
He nodded, and I started the countdown.
“Three”
“Two”
“One”
I was quick to make a small slice on his skin, even quicker to dig out the piece of ashwood stuck in there.
I tsked as I looked at the piece of wood, Tamlin’s wound already closing up.
“Ashwood was definitely something I didn’t miss.”  I said smiling as I carefully placed it on a table so it did get lost.
“I thought it was like no time had passed for you.”  Lucian said, returning with the mentioned tea.
Shrugging, I smiled.  “Hm, must have made a mistake.”
They both understood that I wasn’t going to talk about it anymore, and dropped the subject.
As Lucian handed out tea, I couldn’t help but feel better.
Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad after all.

little idea, a small concept even
Ash weapons easily scar fae, even high lords.
Usually high lords are extremely hard to scar. Their powerful magic healing the wounds, even against the most potent weapon.
Rhysand, when he was shot by those arrows (they were ash if my memory serves me right) took a bit to heal, small round scars covering him but even they faded eventually.
But when Tamlin was stabbed with the ash dagger by feyre he wasn’t at his full power, the wound healing at a snails pace. Even when amarantha was dead and his power was back the damage had been done.
He has a small scar across where his heart is. Left permanently by the mortal girl he had loved.
(its rlly late at night and the creative brainrot is hitting me)

In Qing Jing's peak, it's a normal daily occurrence for two disciples to start a debate that slowly everyone becomes a part of. There is a board present in helping explanations and grappling with ideas. Even SQQ would get involved mainly cause they need someone to fact check but also because they need a ref in case it does devolve into fighting somehow
Idk it just fits in with the peak

Elain goes to live with the BoE…
Headcanon that Feyre and Rhys are worried about Nyx being in the Night Court with all the multiverse activity going on there: Aelin falling past, Bryce falling in, etc.
Feyre and Rhys and Elain agree that Nyx and Elain will live with the BoE in the Mortal Lands until they can figure out a way to send Bryce home. Feyre and Rhys believe Elain’s seer powers will help ensure whatever harm might befall Nyx will be seen and eradicated before it happens.
Lucien travels with Elain and Nyx because he not only knows Prythian well, he also knows the BoE and their manor, considering that is where he has been staying when he is not in Prythian…
