like,, imagine being in love with one of the most powerful and ancient beings in history, and they care about you and cherish you to the point that they will fight ANYONE who tries to harm you????

it makes it even better if his lover is mortal (and makes it more heart-rending too) because that desire to protect his most cherished goes up to like 10000000000% for him

i know he probably only uses magic to fight, but one of my headcanons is that he knows how to wield a sword 💙 silent salt cookie (before they all corrupted), definitely taught him on how to use one in case there was ever a situation where he couldn't use magic at all.

thanks to them, the guy is now a master on swordsmanship 🤭 he definitely shows off in front of his lover if he ever ends up in a sword fight ajsdhdjd

I think a lot about Leo standing up for his brothers in the things that really matter to them.

Like- Leo is the one who immediately pushes Mikey and Donnie into finding Raph the second it’s clear that their oldest brother is missing because he knows Raph can’t handle being separated like that.

Leo is the one who stands up for Mikey when Mikey wants to go on a solo mission, actively vouching for him and being the one to convince Raph into letting Mikey go, because being independent and proving himself just as capable of standing on his own two feet as everyone else means so much to Mikey.

And Leo defends Donnie’s honor in particular when his brothers’ intelligence is insulted because Leo is well aware of how important Donnie’s smarts are to him - and how important having those smarts valued and acknowledged is as well.

All this goes right into just how well Leo knows his brothers. For as much as he’ll tease or fight with them, he knows them, and he loves them.

Prince Style Test - mostly complete

I have had way too much fun working on this guy. He is so bouncy and dramatic and filled with his own kind of charm.

His games are the ones I played the most (outside of a few exceptions) as a kid, so I have extreme nostalgia for cursing at my DS when it decided to not read a Gameboy cartridge. (the nerve)

He has a lot of nicknames amongst the Links ('Prince' is merely a title bestowed by someone who wanted to upset him - which didn't quite go how Pink intended - and is barely used by the other Links, much like how Pink is only called so when the others want to rile him up) ranging from their Storyteller, Dungeon Crawler, Adventurer, Bard, Swift, and many more. Currently, he stands alone as the fastest of the Links, but only for as long as he can bear the pain of going that fast in a body that tired.

Whilst an incredibly skilled fighter - adaptable, swift and bold - and only just beginning to reach the age of majority, he knows full well his body is at its limit. Despite this - or perhaps because of this fact - he takes any threat to the younger, or more inexperienced members of their group very personally. This can cause some friction between those Links and himself. Luckily, half a decade spent word smithing his way around perception spells and curses have made him very adept at soothing ruffled feathers. Unfortunately, he is inexperienced in one very notable aspect - dealing with constant companionship with not-so amenable souls. Getting used to others when they don't want to get used to him is going to cause him some grief.

Like many of the Links Hylia pulled to her from throughout the Eras, the Hero of Legend died before his time - he hopes to make up for it, for all none of the others think he should have to.

if the showrunners are smart they would have continue with the muslim armand storyline instead of brushing it off under the carpet. there's a lot of material they can use to convey his struggle with his belief, and how he try to connect with it. his view on mortality and death, align perfectly with islamic theology; a peace, and a way out where you can rest. not to mention that alienating feeling as most of us queer muslim feel, where you try your best to fit into the mold but feel like your existence is, wrong.
