the way lucanis immediately and oh so innocently counters davrin's suggestion that he could make the step up to something stronger than coffee with 'like gingerwort tea?' and davrin capitulating gracefully on the spot makes me think that once davrin and rye returned from their trip (in both senses of the word) in the arlathan woods, davrin went straight to lucanis in the pantry and dropped rye directly into his lap like 'here you make some sense of your mans he's been gently giggling and making skeleton puns the whole way home. also he said something about wanting pancakes and that no one makes them right except you. and also about fifty times that you smell sooo good and your hands are nice but I'm taking that one to my fucking grave there's gotta be a limit for everything'

I absolutely love this because Pancake does NOOOOOOT calm Starlo down. Once Starlo and Pancake got engaged, she was like ah yes! Now my son can calm down and this state can now stop

And then later realizes in horror as Pancake enables him. From firing off fireworks to throwing whipped cream in the air and catching it in their mouths at a barbecue, to showing him how to shoot a shotgun, to overall encouraging him through all his cowboy endeavors.

hahaha it was this absurdly long Steve roadtrip fic I wrote that was initially supposed to be a 10 chapter endgame fix it fic, but eventually went onto like 22 chapters of looking at Steve's trauma and relationships. there are a few chapters i wrote on Tumblr but the entire thing is up on AO3 :)

At least . In my personal view of the app and with how long I've been on there, it's a little bad .

I'll just say a couple things : Everything moves by really quick on there . It's like being in front of a big audience and alone on stage . There's some really fucking nasty people on there that I've had to deal with, and I am honestly so deathly afraid of how big I've grown on there, but that also just might be because I'm riddled with a lot of personal issues myself that I am NOT talking about . I don't wanna leave the platform though since that's my main place and I do still somewhat enjoy it, but good fucking lord does it test my patience sometimes

Idk . I have a weird love-hate relationship with the site at this point . um

It always seems a bit unbalanced on The Great Food Truck Race when there will be multiple teams who are cooking a wide variety of complex dishes with 10 different components and a bunch of prep work, and then there's that one team who like... exclusively serves plain crepes with some premade nutella on them, or plain waffles with just some whipped cream and cut up strawberries lol...
