ugh okay so i have so many ideas on how Ace could end up in the hands of the Ultranationalists and WOUGH,,

like im imagining the classic where just like for Shadow Company, where Graves visits Ace and pitches why Ace should join by offering what he lacks - a job, a purpose. but what else does Ace lack? Standards Support.

Makarov would show up somewhere along in Ace's life, corner him in an alley or be unwelcome company in some dimly lit bar. He would catch Ace where the man is at his lowest, the loneliest hours. I can imagine Makarov sowing the idea that Ace has nobody. Look at him, drinking alone without his former friend King.

You know who's there instead? Makarov, accompanying Ace in his lonesome retirement. Ace would be opposed to this, but the longer the night goes and the more time that passed with Makarov being more present than the people he had served with, he would be swayed.

Makarov was a friend, the man himself claimed. If he had truly wanted to hurt Ace, he would have already done so, right? That made sense to a tipsy Ace.

Ace would listen to Makarov's reasoning that he's all that Ace has, to trust him and ultimately join his cause. Ace had no reason to be held back by the memories of the people that never gave him the time of day.

However, Makarov would underestimate Ace's loyalty to his country and the people in it. Makarov was annoyed by the love Ace had for his former team despite their dismissive behaviour towards him. Unlike Grave's pitch of becoming a mercenary, it was harder for Makarov to sell the idea of being a traitor and a terrorist.

So Makarov would take matters into his own hands.

The dark cloth was pulled off of Ace's eyes. He winces at the bright light, having to blink away tears as his eyes adjusted to the surroundings. There was a chill in the room unlike any other, the howling of wind outside these four walls sending an uncomfortable chill through Ace. It was immediately clear to Ace that he wasn't in the same country he lost consciousness in.

"Ace Doe..." drawled a voice, raspy and ominous.

The former British lieutenant would hold his heavy head up at the sound of his name being called. He made eye contact with a familiar face, blue-green eyes emerging from the darkness.

Makarov would circle around Ace, watching the ex-military man regain his bearings. A swirl of emotions flowed through Ace as he watched the terrorist with wary eyes. He felt betrayed by his supposed new friend, foolish that he trusted someone again and stupid for falling into the clutches of a terrorist.

Ace's head buzzed with the start of a killer headache, thanks to the alcohol he drank and the chloroform Makarov supplied. Makarov would grab his attention again by standing before him. His body eclipsed the bright light, providing a sort of refuge for Ace's eyes despite his frame looming over him.

A halo formed around Makarov's head, or that was what it looked like to Ace when he looked up at the Russian, focusing his blurry gaze upwards. He scoffed when Makarov pointed out he was all alone here.

"They'll find me," Ace says confidently.

"Who, your former team?" Makarov mused to the man he was standing over. "Or Jack, who left you behind, never to be heard from again?"

Ace inhaled sharply at the comment. That accident wasn't what it looked like.

Makarov would only smile, knowing he hit a nerve. The Russian pulls Ace's chin up, running a finger along the scarred skin of his neck and reveling in the way Ace tensed under him. He instructs Ace to close his eyes.

Ace does as told, ultimately not having a choice in his situation. He cringed at the sensations that he felt along his neck. There was the feeling of a thick strap wrapping around Ace's neck, followed by the sound of a buckle. He opened his eyes just as Ace felt Makarov run a finger along the leather collar.

"Soon you'll see how much you really mean to them, собака."

Ace furrowed his brows, not understanding Makarov's last word before he watched the terrorist leave the room, subjecting Ace to isolation.

"Собака."

The former British lieutenant would hold his heavy head up at the sound of his name being called. At least that was what Ace thinks the word means.

Weeks had passed. Or was it months? Ace had no windows in his dingy room to tell the passage of time. His eyes landed on Makarov once again as the other man circled around him, like a shark would with an injured fish.

"My team.. They're gonna come and get me, then you'll be sorry."

Makarov let out a laugh at the ridiculous notion. It sounded like Ace was more so trying to convince himself.

"Why would they bother, собака? Your captain never even saw potential in you."

That hit Ace like a truck full of bricks.

"I'm the only one who does. I see in you the potential you have to be great. All you need is me as I believe in you. Forget your silly team. You belong to me now, собака."

There was a silence that seemed to stretch on forever. The words simmer in Ace's mind. There was some truth to Makarov's words, if not all.

Ace furrowed his brows as he watched the terrorist leave the room, subjecting Ace to isolation once again. He finally understood the meaning of that word.

"Собака."

The former British lieutenant would hold his heavy head up at the sound of his name being called.

Makarov circles Mad Dog, accessing the former British soldier. Predator to prey.

Ace, or rather Mad Dog, stood with his head held high, the silver buckle of his collar glistening in the dim light.

"You look good in uniform."

Makarov hums, running a hand over Mad Dog's sleeve where a Konni Group morale patch sat proudly.

"Хорошая собака."

John Price, former two-time Wold Champion, the Bear of the Ring, back from retirement. Kyle "Gaz" Garrick, a newcomer, moving on up to the big leagues. The Golden Boy of London. John "Soap" MacTavish, the Street Fight Champion, the half of the most menacing duo in WWE history. And "Ghost," the Shadow of the Ring, who won last seasons duo Championship with Soap.

Recently, one of the announcers retired after a long career, and WWE scrambled to find a suitable replacement that wouldn't cause an uproar in the dedicated fanbase.

They chose you. A person with an impressive resume and a quick wit, willing to be accidentally trampled if need be. And the best part for the company? The fans love you, some even making compilations and edits of you. Of the few moments you get shown on camera at least. (The wrestlers are the main event.) And the wrestlers seem to like you just fine. Better than the refs and each other, at least. The 141 seem to like you the most, though.

Price, just coming back from a short retirement, was the first match you narrated. You loved him growing up, the finishing moves, the walkout song (Thunderstruck AC/DC,) everything. He put the attitude in the Attitude Era, the main event, the headliner. Then he retired.

You cried during his final show. Being one of the live announcers for his comeback now is huge for you.

He walked out on the ring, fought like hell, and at one point he slung his opponent over the net and the guy crashed into your table. Admittedly it was a little frightening, but seeing John Price drag the guy kicking and screaming back into the ring by his hair was enough of a reward. And the gruff "Sorry, dove," he said to you certainly didn't make anything worse.

But you thought that was it for the nicknames.

Until Gaz. Every match he has, whenever he has the mic, he's referencing you at least once, with an added "Love" or "Sunshine" to it. That alone gave you a thousand more followers on your Instagram, but the post he made on Twitter? At least ten thousand. And it wasn't anything major, but being the "Golden Boy" comes with certain privileges, and he uses them well. You start researching him after that, and he hasn't done that for any other announcer.

Soap and Ghost’s first team-up of the season has them against the men they stole the Duo Champions titles from. Graves and Makarov. Match made in Hell, the two of them. They can't stand each other, but they hate the 141 boys enough to justify a team-up.

During the match, Soap broke Makarov's arm. Maybe he just forgot it wasn't his usual rules, or maybe it was the reference he made to you during the pre-fight trash-talk session. Either way, Ghost had his back, as always, and covered for him by throwing the rest of the match as the script told them to. Either way, they were disqualified.

And you? You're having the time of your life. The fights are right up by your face, the adrenaline rush right there, and this time you actually get to chase it.

Maybe you're egging them on a bit. Grinning like mad during Price's first match, responding to Gaz's tweet and comments with nothing short of glowing praise, giving colorful commentary during Soap and Ghost’s fight. But who can blame you, really? For liking your job, for entertaining people.

Maybe that's why this match, the grand match between Task Force 141 and The Shadows is packed. You entertain people just as much as the wrestlers.

The lights flash, Thunderstruck plays, the 141 boys walk out. Then here comes Graves for a rematch against the ones who broke his arm, complete with his entourage behind him. Surprisingly the whole broken arm thing fits the storyline well, after some panicking from the writers and producers.

"Your boy broke my arm." Graves starts, grin sharp, canines poking out. Grinning despite the red-hot pain in his arm.

"We do what we have to. Keep your mouth shut next time, aye?" It's a measured response from Price, but the headbutt Soap does as soon as the sentence settles is definitely not.

"Grab your popcorn people, the world's Street Fight Champion Soap is jumping right into the fight!" And there's your voice, over the speakers. Sounding thrilled.

The fans both cheer and jeer and Ghost’s chant is started up, a steady thump, thump, of boots on the floor of the stadium.

The fight starts without much else, men thrown and chairs cracked over heads. With the disadvantage Graves has, it's clear who will win, but the play-by-play is still fun to give.

"Oh! And Graves has got Soap on the ropes, can he break his hold- and Ghost runs up behind him, always on his six, yanking Graves away! This is the Champion duo ladies and gentlemen."

And maybe it's distracting the boys a little. Maybe Johnny puffs up a little when you point out his title, maybe Ghost looks over at the booth for a little too long. Just maybe. And just maybe that gives the Shadows an opening for a takedown move or two. And just maybe, the 141 loses twice in a row.

Thinking along the line of safehouse fics and the inherent endings they have (that link references Brix specifically), I think Flowers from my Love might have a similar bittersweet ending.

I’m really just thought barfing. I’m absolutely open for hashing this out in DM’s or in comments or whatever.

@the-californicationist’s Gunslinger ends with Price retiring with Charon. An apt ending for the two that had such a long slow-burn, thrown into chaos and forced to reconcile their actions against the big-bad.

Things’ How Many Days I Bleed is yet unfinished and I haven’t asked if they’ve decided how it ends yet. (I don’t want to know.)

Both were tremendously influential toward my development of Brix. Both are also Price X Reader/OFC in a 2nd POV. Brix is Soap X OFC.

It feels cruel to make Soap cut his career short to be with an American. He’s late 20’s, has a decade of service under his belt, and has hit the peak of his service on an elite task force. Even if he falls in love with orchards/winery life, I struggle with him just abruptly saying “nah, I’m out” - especially if Makarov’s still at large. (His death does not happen, but everything else in MWIII does.)

Maybe the best outcome for the is a long-distance relationship. But Annabeth lost her fiancé in her early 20’s, and her father 6 months before the story starts. I don’t think she’d be up for that sort of…abandonment? Intermittent visits?

So that makes me rethink the romance aspect of the story. Maybe it’s more about letting others in an supporting you than romance love. I don’t know. I’ll have to see where those two go, I suppose. But I think it ends with a letter of some sort. (It’s still going to hurt, even if it’s a bittersweet hurt.)

@syoddeye’s For the Record has two endings, both of which absolutely nailed the vibes of the relationship between Animale and Price. One an ending of “we cannot be together after everything” and one of “we are going to try after much healing has happened.”

FTR inspired Flowers. Hands down. No question. I will fully credit Sy in that, because they deserve it.

I’ve had it in my mind that Johanna goes through something akin to the Piccadilly mission. Had it written in my notes from day 1. Kyle comes to her rescue, but like FTR - what happens to that trust between them? Is it one built on omissions? I’m not sure.

I also don’t know if Kyle would give up his life on the Task Force for her either. Or if she would give up hers. Johanna isn’t as hurt as Annabeth is (Johanna has Pepper (service dog) and her company and that’s enough. Demi/ace vibes? Idk tbh.)

So maybe she’s made peace with it being a short-term fling. But again - what’s the revelation of Kyle’s job do to their relationship? Does it end with a soft hand squeeze and “my door’s always open to you”? He might retire in 5-ish years and come back to her. Or it’s just a tender memory they both hold close.

It’s much less of a healing fic in comparison to Brix - it’s more about meeting people where they are? I guess? Idk. I had the one scene in the city and the idea of the whole 141 next door and a flower farm and here we are.

Like I said earlier, I’m just musing on these two tonight. I’ve been wanting to write them, but I hadn’t really thought through the endings until now. And that’s what’s been one of my hold-ups I didn’t realize until I started tugging at the strings.

AC x COD, Let's say Valeria as El Sin Nombre made dealings with the Templars like past deals for human trafficking for the Animus project (she's doesn't know about that) or paid for information as an example and maybe got some wisdom by the Templars (if they are so prideful to boast about it) and it just pulls us into the confrontation of Alejandro and Valeria scene into more Desmond telling she was used as a pawn or something

The Assassin's Creed x Call Of Duty Modern Warfare crossover (idea + 2 drabbles, short fic 1, short fic 2, another drabble, an overview of Desmond's journal and loadout)

This gives me an excuse to talk about the villains’ connection to the whole Assassin vs Templar aspect of Assassin’s Creed so here we go!

The Zakhaevs - It’s currently unknown if there is any connection between them and Abstergo but, considering Las Almas had dealings with both of them, it’s possible that they are using middlemen/companies/parties to indirectly deal with the Zakhaevs to ensure it does not trace back to them.

Valeria and the Las Almas - She inherited Abstergo as a customer from the La Arana’s. Las Almas was also in charge of moving Soma from Mexico to the United States although it is unknown where in the US it’s meant to be shipped (Desmond’s guess would be perhaps to the Abstergo facility in Philidelphia). Other than that, there’s an Abstergo-ran clinic nearby where members of Las Almas get treated for free. In exchange, any person that the Las Almas move to or from the border must be checked there as well. This clinic is controlled by Abstergo and is mainly used to check for any ‘interesting’ genetic memory from the samples they receive.

General Shepherd - I already talked about Shepherd as an Assassin in the idea + 1 drabble and a short scene that have him. Other than that, it should be noted that Shepherd was one of the last mentor’s acolytes together with William Miles and Gavin Banks but he was passed over to be the next mentor after the mentor’s death as he was too much of a public figure, considering his rising military career. He had a wife and a child back in the Brotherhood, both of which died during the Great Purge. His Assassin affiliation is kept hidden even from the other Assassins and the most people know about him is that he is an ally. (Side note: he is the one who gave 141 a dog named Riley and it’s implied to have been a child of the last mentor’s dog)

Philip Graves and the Shadow Company - Here’s a short scene that has them. The most important part about them is that they are all survivors of the Great Purge or children whose parents and families died during the Great Purge. They were taken in by General Shepherd and trained to be one of the best PMC in the modern era. They idolize Ezio Auditore for destroying the Borgias and the Byzantine Templar Rites. As a PMC, they are not considered as actual Assassins by the Brotherhood and they have worked for Abstergo before.

Roman Barkov - His assholeness is just him. The Templars and the Assassins have nothing to do with that.

Hassan Zyani - He made a deal with Abstergo to transport Soma to the US in exchange for their support. Considering Berg is in charge of meeting him… it’s highly plausible a double-cross might be on the horizon.

Makarov - He never dealt with the Templars and Abstergo thinks he’s a loose cannon that’s too dangerous to deal with. However! He may or may not have had dealings with the Assassins before he became the Makarov we all hate today. At the very least, he knows William Miles but he knows him by a different name: Yuri.

Before I get into what I will and won’t do, the requests can take me a while. It all depends on the ship/prompt and motivation. I don’t like putting out things that’ll suck, especially if it’s requested by someone. I hope you understand! And yes requests are always opened, just shoot me an ask or a DM. 

Big disclaimer: When it comes to Ghost I will not write him in a way that makes him seem like an asshole for no good reason. I absolutely hate when he’s portrayed like that and personally I think it’s a bad take on the complex character that he is. I’ve dealt with that interpretation for a decade now, I’m tired and i hate it. I will also not write Roach in a way that makes him seem weak. He’s a soldier in an elite group, he’s far from weak.

Fairy Tail Pride

Day 24 Prompt: “They mean everything to me” Pairing: ace!Natsu x ace!Lisanna + adopted child Addition Notes: requested by anon :) Mention of past non-con. @ft-wwtdp

Lisanna had never thought that all those days long gone would amount to this. After the accident, after Edolas, after the many harrowing adventures in between, she never would’ve dreamed her childhood fantasies would play themselves out so brilliantly.

“He’s lovely,” she cooed, careful not to wake the sleeping child in her arms. Natsu’s warm, solid bulk steadied her back as he peered over her shoulder thoughtfully. Even Happy was quiet, hovering, enchanted by the cherub face with the longest eyelashes any of them had ever seen. Tiny, delicate little fingers curled on the blanket and tight, brown curls covered the child’s head liberally, contrasting with his even darker skin. He was three, maybe four, Lisanna guessed, although his small size made her doubt his age. And if he were awake, the age in his eyes, old as the world, would make her doubt he was so young and guileless.

Cana had casually swung by the evening before, which was rare for the woman to do. If it wasn’t at the guild, she wasn’t around much - she was sociable in public, and private outside of the guildhall. Uncharacteristically hushed, she accepted the invitation into their small flat without even a smile. Natsu had long ago left his forest home, and Lisanna had moved out too. The flat was cozy; they had talked about upgrading it, but since Natsu left often and Lisanna would go to her sister’s, it didn’t seem worth it just for the two of them.

“He’s special, ya see,” Cana drawled, the word special rolling off her lips with subtext dripping. At some point, she’d decided to stop chasing her father, quit the guild as an active mage and took over the local orphanage.

They’d all grown up, Lisanna reflected, when the Peter Pan spell has been broken after Makarov’s death. The doting grandfather figure that kept them in childhood was gone forever. Something had broken, something had settled, the guild was no longer a harbor for adult children to play the day away with magic and destruction.

Special.

Could they handle a child like that?

One of the first things both Natsu and Lisanna established in their relationship was that sex was off the table. Natsu wasn’t interested, announcing it in his particular blunt way, and Lisanna was content to follow her partner’s lead. It had been a relief actually since in previous relationships there had been an expectation. Sex was part of a relationship, after all, and it was a duty to... fill, according to her prior partners. And it was one that had been… abused. Something she didn’t like to think about much, and once she was steady with Natsu, she realized she’d never have to think about it again. There was a lot of pressure, and it’d been a deal-breaker more than once in the past, but with Natsu she was free. And she loved him more for that, the freedom he gave her so casually.

Of course, they wanted a child.

It had come up before, then again, and then again. But it never seemed… right. And, frankly, Lisanna wasn’t sure how pregnancy would take to her, given her Magic. Even Polyursica had confirmed that sometimes when two strong mages had children, things went wrong, even without their strange magics.

Adoption came up. A lot. But it was a long process, an expensive process, and the laws had been changed recently to ensure the officials had lots of paperwork and fingers in potential adopters’ personal lives. There were lots of hoops, lots of requirements, and one of the big questions would be ‘why don’t you make your own?’ Humiliating and invasive. Discriminatory. And at the end there was no guarantee they could even adopt being active mages.

And here Cana shows up with a gift to drop right in their laps. She knew, of course, and since her orphanage was privately owned, she wasn’t bound by all the laws the state-run ones were. A lot of the laws but not all of them. And, more importantly, she wasn’t above circumventing them when necessary. She’d offered them a child under the table more than once, but in the end it never quite worked out.

Which is why Lisanna marveled at what lay in her arms, Natsu’s reassuring, warm bulk behind her and Cana giving a lop-sided smile reminiscent of her rakish youth to the side. Lisanna did not want to know what strings the woman had pulled to make this happen, and she was holding her breath nothing unraveled, because she didn’t think she could bear it if the child were to be taken away.

He needed her. He needed them. He needed a new start in life. He deserved it.

Natsu, as if reading her mind, gave her shoulder a squeeze of support and growled towards Cana with canines showing, “This better not screw up. They mean everything to me. More than Fairy Tail, you understand? Lisanna. Happy. This boy. If this goes wrong, we’ll leave, and I’ll pulverize anyone who stands in the way.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Cana waved him off, unimpressed, “I got it taken care of, swear. And you say that now, but wait until the little terror wakes up; there’s a reason I brought him knocked out cold. He’s got a right devil of a magic already, nearly burned the place down.”

Natsu’s grin grew, and Lisanna remarked, “Good thing this place is fire-proof already.”

Cana smirked, “Hope you have flood insurance.”

“What!”

But by then she was already sauntering out the door, hand waved in lazy acknowledgement. Happy went to shut the door before coming back to stare and whisper, “A little brother.”

“A perfect family,” Natsu proclaimed, wrapping all three of them in a hug. Lisanna leaned against him, safe and protected, whispering with a giddy happiness that filled very bit of her being, “A perfect family.”

In Disassembly and Assembly Mode, the X-Ray View looks directly through the gun to show you where all of the parts are located. In Operate Mode you can fire, slide moving parts, and reload the gun when the magazine is empty. Slow Motion View allows you to see the gun’s operation in even more detail. The Game Mode of this application is a mind-teasing puzzle. Here, you are given the challenge to rearrange and reassemble the gun in the fastest time. These times are then recorded locally and globally in our highscore tables, where you can compete with other users. Parts are usually assembled and disassembled in a logical order, but sometimes the order is determined by specific safety or mechanical limitations.
