To think I was worried about this IF ending up too short for anyone to be interested.

The hospital section in this Chapter alone is only getting longer and longer. I keep thinking of new important details and little extra scenes to add just to complete the psych ward experience (TM).

Some interesting details about Zima and MC's past mental state below cut (might be important):

Zima has now had their first interview section, mainly determining the details of the nature of their past involvement with MC. There's a total of four options. If you enjoyed the choice of Stevie having a crush on MC, you're gonna love this.

MC can be hospitalized due to either depression or social anxiety, as these are the only conditions that I feel wholly comfortable writing. I considered also offering a combination of the two, but ultimately decided against it, as the MC's oast mental illness will eventually influence the future of the story and I want those paths to be very distinct and different.

Please mind that, while everyone who suffers from mental illness of any kind has their own totally subjective and individual experience with it, I'm writing social phobic and depressive MCs with certain "set" symptoms. Here are some set elements:

Social phobia MCs experience physical symptoms and selective mutism. They are nervous and quiet, so all their interactions, especially in the beginning of their hospitalization (even when picking the antagonistic options) will reflect that. So if you're wondering why MC seems to be acting meek or "submissive", it's bc of their affliction not allowing them to be as outspoken as they might like to be. Social phobia MCs have a general exhaustion of life, given they live in constant stress, but they do not self-harm. They are prone to sleep disturbances.

Depressive MCs experience listlessness, irritation (which can makes them more prone to acting aggressively), feelings of self-loathing and dissatisfaction. They have a heightened need for sleep and will report not wanting to get out of bed. They can, in fact, choose to be currently practicing self-harm, or to have done so in the past. However, even if they choose to have never self-harmed, they will report thoughts of suicide.

Either MC will be medicated during their time in the clinic. It's a small text section and a slight bit vague as my medical knowledge, despite my research efforts, is limited. The MC will get to choose how to feel about the drugs and the potential side effects, though.

Either MC will be able to additionally describe symptoms indicating neurodivergence.

Either MC can choose to be underage smoking, drinking or both during this time. Or neither, of course.

So thanks for reading all that! Small disclaimer: I know very well that the depression and social phobia symptoms I chose to write about are NOT universally representative. This all might sound like the routes are very set, but there's actually a ton of customization going on in this chapter, so don't you worry! (Also it's gonna be rly important for the future of the band)

Was I the asshole for getting a to-go bag at a boba place?

My partner and I (neither of us white) were at a boba place in Soho with 2 friends. My partner got two drinks, paid, and left for the restroom. So I went to pick up the two drinks when they were done making them. The person (of three) working there asked first if I wanted help stabbing the boba, if I’d like to drink it now, to which I said no (Bcs honestly? A bit odd of a service as most people do this themselves, also I wanted to wait for my partner anyway). She then followed up with “would you like a bag?”, which I acquiesced to, thinking why not.

I then proceeded to wait with my boba in the bag, standing in the bar area next to the boba kiosk with our friend A, waiting for friend B and my partner’s return. As they got back, friend A was already sipping on their boba, so in general the vibe was just very normal boba drinking times due to warm weather (at the time). So the rest of us stabbed our bobas while making small talk next to the small counter space provided.

After a few sips, the lady who gave me the bag leant out of the kiosk area, cupping her hands together to tell me that “I��m afraid you’re not supposed to drink it straight up like that” and further, with many gestures “if you were going to drink it now you shouldn’t have asked for a bag. I gave you a bag because I thought you were having it to go.” (Paraphrased) with the general air of explaining sth to a moron. She had a rather heavy accent which was a bit hard for me to understand, so my blank expression might have caused the general condescension.

I was very surprised at this frankly weird interaction and didn’t know what to say at the time. Why was I being schooled? For a bag? A guy in line looked at me with disgust as if I was pissing on the floor right in the middle of the mall or sth. When I left the scene I felt like I was half running away but thinking back it was rly just hella weird. Was I the asshole for taking a bag to wait with?

Note 1: it couldn’t have been a matter of bag price as it was made of paper, which they don’t charge for at these overpriced boba places, and we weren’t in anyone’s space.

Note 2: there were 3 people working in the boba kiosk and at most 3 people in line at the time of this interaction, so unsure why the guy in line gave me such a dirty look besides potential racism. I wasn’t holding up the line or anything.

Note 3: yes I understand overall this is trivial but it was so baffling that I wanted some kind of closure. I still don’t know what I did wrong, since as far as I can tell this is mainly classism for my not understanding “upperclass” norms, hence this submission.

This Is Not Romantic. ick feeling that it causes him to be more in denial at how close he’s gotten with leo (in the beginning at least , later on kitsune still teases him but he’s more at ease with how him and leo are, so he always jusy goes “ew no im not kissing him dates r gross” but over time she toned it down to more “ooh is someone missing a certain kappa?” kinda teasing rather than “whens the wedding/has your first kiss happened yet lmao/etc” kinda teasing)

hana calls leo his boyfriend like all the time and like . usagi doesnt rly correct her bc she’s 8 and he doesnt know how to explain that they “arent Really boyfriends sure they do things that couples would do sometimes but its platonic and well you dont rly know what platonic means uh”

I was HUNGRY like rly hungry. I think its bc my body just switched to fat burning mode.

20-21 hours:

Not as hungry actually, i used no cal juice to suppress everything. Also did some research. At 24 hours your body goes into ketosis and you may lack an appetite. Its actually one of the signs your body is in ketosis:)!. So i keep telling myself, after that, i wont be as hungry🥰 AND then tomorrow, its just whatever i did today. But with less of an appetite. So this alll seems so easy. Ill keep an update.

I have forced my girlfriend to eat a strawberry mochi and she got full. So i then forced my grandparents eat mochi as i sat there and intensely watched them. why jay/leia is the intended endgame: an unnecessarily long post

the very obvious answer to this is the whole legacy argument. who didn't know when the character descriptions dropped that those two would be a couple just for the whole "haha the kelsos are still driving the forman women crazy" joke? (which they haven't even made yet, which also makes me think we have in no way seen the last of them. we are DEFINITELY getting an eric freakout) kelso was a joke character nearly his entire stint on t70s. they never portrayed him as a good bf or caring ab . . . well anything other than sex, and then eventually betsy (trans!jay kelso theory?). jay, however, they make a big point of showing/saying that he is not like his dad. there is an entire episode dedicated to red realizing that jay is a good boy and that is not kelso just bc he is a kelso.

this is the jay defining moment for me. i think if they had cast a lesser actor than mace this could've come off as 'haha jay trying to get into leia's pants' but mace delivered it so genuinely and sincerely that it is very clear to me that leia is not going to be someone that jay gets over easily. he's this "reformed playboy," yet we never see him be anything less than a gentleman to leia. i am pointing out this line in particular bc of it's OBVIOUS parallel to eric saying that he needed to go to africa so that he can deserve donna.

i have trauma from the gmw fandom debating to death who the corpanga was supposed to be (as if that was a good thing lmfao) but there is literally no debate that jay/leia is the new donna/eric. jay is the cool hot love interest who centers the neurotic dorky protagonist. plus, i mean, the car scene within the first three episodes? be so serious here.

the show spent sooooo much time on jay and it would be so weird to me if they suddenly were just like "actually nate is the male lead now!" i think he probably got the least amount of screentime of any of the kids.

i know the showrunner came out and said leia needed to find a ~deep connection not built on lust~ and that's where nate came in. i do agree with that to an extent, but nate/leia is clearly just to throw off the viewers. also, nate is the kelso archetype more than jay is, lbr. (i could do an entirely separate blog post on that). yes, nate and leia connected. they were able to confide in each other about their relationship issues. does that mean there's romantic chemistry there? no. it just means that they were there for each other in an important moment.

is a big proponent of leia/jay's relationship built on lust? i would argue moreso on leia's side than jay's, but also, leia didn't like jay bc of his looks. she liked him because he made her feel special and treated her with respect. she liked the kind, sensitive part of him. it was only once they had that moment where she began to ~lust after him. and for anyone to argue that jay's feelings for leia are lust related is fucking stupid because

like jay could get any girl he wants canonically. he likes leia for leia. he likes her for all of her little quirks and flaws. plus there is ANOTHER episode dedicated to her feeling she needs to put out and him saying he only wants what she is comfortable with. c'mon man.

this is not some lust related fling that was built on nothing but mutual attraction. i'm not gonna act like their convos ever get super deep or anything (mainly because we only got ten episodes in season one), but nate/leia rly didn't either. like. they were both just upset about jay and nikki. and then they almost kissed.

are nate and leia probably going to be a focus in season two? oh, for sure. but the obvious endgame is jay and leia.

their names are vik (ginger, white, heterochromia, the one in the whumpy rb whos being kissed in the second rb) and nell (blue hair, darker skin, yellow eyes, the one who is KISSING)

ive had these two for 5 years ! the first setting i had them in was . unvolontary world travellers : the story would follow them in different universes, hows they'd meet, fall in love over and over again, until one of them would start to remember their past lives but one of them would DIE (im dramatic)

It was an excuse for many aus lol which i'm still......... sort of doing lol

i have three main stories for them atm !

1 - the first one is an angel/demon story where the main characters (most of my ocs) come together to form a third party who basically . wants to fight god . nell is a demon who summons knives and vik is an angel who uses a bow :] (cupid hehehhehehe) he also turns out to be a secret spy for one of the antagonist. in this au they have lives from before they died as humans,,,, i've been very into the "past lives" things for someone who hates reincarnation aus LMAO

in this au they jumpstart the third party accidentally by cooperating, and die in each other's arms <3 i think they would have kissed just before the last battle........ my little meow meows

2 - the second one is basically a spooky stardew valley au aka the Farm Au (i played a lot of stardew for a few months AND i like horror so). It follows mainly nell, vik, belly (nell's twin sister), and jasper (the sweetheart of all sweethearts and belly's future husband) with belly being a farmer in a little village after she escaped her and nell's past, nell needs help and reaches out to her, ends up living with her and disocvering that there is more in life than living in ur past trauma.... except ofc the valley the village is is NOT an ordinary valley, with fantastical horror :3 some people melt. vik is once again sort of a "traitor" in this. its a running theme for him but like he's always an unwilling participant in it lol groomed into the situation ...

3 - third au is a naruto au bc after binge listening/watching the anime openings like 3 times in a day i realised i rly enjoyed the universe even if i did not care much abt the story lol. it's basically just . ninja au without the naruto characters, with backstory and fighting style and roles for most of my ocs,,,, yes vik is ROOT in this (groomed into being a bad guy)

ANYWAY i rly enjoy them and put them in the brain rotisserie oven with the flavor of the month wehehhe

yknow what 😤 im gna talk about my ocs a bit since i found out u can send images from ur switch to ur phone rly easily. they started as pripara ocs but theyve evolved into their own universe. these guys are basically like the season 1 characters of their universe lol.

the trio on the left is tripretty and the right is primaverano, altogether theyre pretty verano. left to right is mitsuba/futaba, charlie/hugo, manami --- gin, marico, akira. these are their usual rotations, hugo and marico are the centres of the groups but ofc the other members get to be centres sometimes too

the rest shall be under the cut so i dont flood any dashboards

here they are in dream parade coords☺️ this ones a bit more up to date design-wise. akiras the centre of primaverano here bc shes the only one who looks good in mr (i guess futaba could pull it off too but i wanted to keep the groups seperate). i stuck to the spring/summer coords for primaverano for hopefully obvious reasons, so that naturally pushed tripretty toward the cooler seasons. i was kind of surprised how naturally 4 of the characters embodied the seasons

here is the earliest screenshot i have of most of the group sans akira (i didnt have the 6-person songs unlocked yet). most are recogniseable except marico (second from the right). when i initially designed her she looked kinda like she does here, but it just didnt feel right so i started messing around with her every time i unlocked new mychara parts 😭😭 so now shes got green hair I Guess. she usually wears sunglasses but theres no good ones in the switch game :(

aaaaand here are their shuffle units. i dont really have names for them yet. but basically theres a contest that requires new teams to be formed, so hugo (blonde one in the left group) very quickly drops their teammates for primaveranos cooler members, and they completely surprise their usual teammates in their performance. gin (blonde in the right group) is an extremely chill and relaxed person so she just ends up joining the rest of tripretty. futaba (rightmost in right pic) is cool-type so she wonders why shes endes up in the sweet/lovely group and is v awkward about it lol

theres actually a third main group, theyre kind of not as important as these ones but theyre a very popular male idol group called shaKings (the pics are both kinda bad lol whoops). the pic on the right is the usual rotation: hugo, naoto, mamoru. yes hugos in two main groups, at first they go by charlie with the girls and is just hugo w tha boys but eventually they drop that and theyre just in two groups openly.

naoto and akira are twins☺️ naotos albino, mainly bc i wanted to really drive home the contrast between them. naoto is nicknamed nao by a lot of people, so he has a more feminine name to contrast his sisters masculine name

tripretty, primaverano and shakings together form the 8-person unit prettyveranou (ou for the king from shakings). i havent figured out what that would be in japanese though... プリティベラン王??? like whos veran........ but yeah along with their little supergroup theres four main duo units. naoto/mamoru (which was just the original shakings before hugo joined), hugo/gin (gins v laid back while "charlie" is very bubbly so they dont seem like theyd mesh, but theyre actually best friends), futaba/marico (both are shakings fangirls and theres a lot of tension between them... ust........), akira/manami (...theyre left over lmao. like canonically thats why they team up but they put on some interesting lives bc they have the most contrasting styles of anyone else; every other duo has some kind of commonality or theres a middle ground between their styles but manami is very cute/sweet/lovely whatever and akira is rock style. they make it work aaaand theyre the only duo i have a screenshot of)

so thats "season 1" of... my ocs lol. i have way more ideas for characters in this universe, like "season 2" ara4 (means storm, the characters are named after weather phenomena and are the start of my descent into pun names), and the group of the brightest stars around, o-types (led by O-ka (ouka). im almost definitely never gna follow through with their story lmao but idk... maybe someday..........

it takes me forever to start watching things and get through them. The last series i finished I think were Witchblade and Link Click abt a month or so ago. I was also planning to watch yuri kuma sometime soon bc i remembered ppl posting about it but i never watched it while it was airing, as well as a rewatch of banana fish bc my brother brought it up bc he was using it as a topic for his paper recently????? i dont even know why he knows it but oh. well i guess. was also gonna watch mignon but the art style is getting me and my city hunter plans have been dashed by the sheer volume of episodes scaring me for now

Sweet/Spicy/Savory: i like them all!

not sure i rly prefer one over the others but i like to bake so maybe sweet. did you know my baking enemy is cookies idk what it is but if im making my own from scratch somehow they always turn out wrong. fav thing to bake is cinnamon rolls i just havent done any in a while bc they take so long (also bc i wanna do peach cobbler style cinnamon rolls which ive done before! but that takes extra long bc of the extra toppings you have to make)

my struggle w/ my series so far

now dont get me wrong im very passionate abt this little passion project ive been brewing for abt two years now (or should i say like almost TEN bc ive been wanting to make a magical girl type project for a WHILE. i quite literally didnt get a concept down until recently) but oh my god. i never figured character designing would be this hard ESPECIALLY since ive mostly drawn magical girls for??? YEARS???

so ive recently redone her design to change a couple of things ive grown to be super unhappy with

this bitch. i call her amber. mainly cus she had orange hair. but NOW i dont like the orange hair so im changing it. to what? idk. anyways

ive been trying to design her for the past TWO YEARS. i figured that since shes the main character of the project shed be easy right? NOPE.

soooo i decided to mess with hair despite the orange hair being her signature look, but accoridng to the audience the orange hair was unpopular. i ran a poll to decide what hair she should have instead with these as the options

i came up with a bunch of different choices specifically with ranges of oranges and yellow to lime eyes, even a brown to shake it up. ultimately the brown hair with green dye won, which was surprising to me at least but it is cuter than the other colors tbh. the original one had brown eyes but i cooked a bit and gave her the yellow. suits her much better and leaves hints that shes like. not Just a human u kno?

2x13 the set up- we meet when he visits the office to apply to be ron's assistant. after ron declines, jean hangs around tom/leslie's office a bit bc he's bored or whatever. i go in to get smth from leslie's part of the office and tom introduces us n we meet 🤝🤝 he's prob instantly intrigued by me bc i look #cool with my dyed hair. and i think he's Just Some Guy DKSNHS. heprobably thinks i'm cute or whateverrrr 🙄🙄

between 2x13 to 2x23 we'd see a bit of each other. he likes to stop by the office n chat with tom and since i'm at the office a lot we'd see e/o. perhaps he asks tom if i'm around (he def does this more in s3) bc he wants to see me (but he doesn't say that) ,, anyways. between these 10 eps we'd approach almost-kindasorta-friend status.

2x23 the master plan - tom would rope me in with him & jean to help set up april's birthday party at the snakehole lounge. yk jean doesn't rly help w anything wGKSN but he def hangs around me (follows me like a puppy lol) and talks to me (annoys me). during this ep jean's constantly flirting with april (which she only lets slide bc she wants to make andy jealous) but i think he wouldn't even be into her. methinks he perhaps is already crushing on me (or at least is already into me and wants to know me better ykwim. which is gona take a while bc i <3 being mysterious and i'm so bad at talking to ppl and only answer when someone directly asks me things. #autism #oppositesattract #slowburn) but he feels he might not have a shot with me so he flirts w her to keep his mind off me idk whateverrr (⬅ lore i've thought of for a year but never added here for whatever reason). i find them being together so much odd but i just shrug it off like Ok. that's a thing i guess. anyways hbd april <3 fsNHS. anywaysanyways whenever he's away from her he's trying to find me (i am easy to find. partly bc dyed hair also i would just be by the bar or hanging awkwardly around ppl i know like a lost child) so we can talk more. uhmm yeah.

3x9 andy & april's wedding - at this point ! we're friends. yay. uhm not much to say here for this ep. jean visits andy n aprils wedding to help tom make a best man speech and they prob consult me on it (for whatever reason idk) and i'm just like 'oh wow that's Awful. Please use it' fSHNK and then we're all bummed when tom doesn't get time to say his speech. wish i had more to say for this ep uhh me and him just hang in the kitchen watching the wedding c: when mouse rat starts performing and everyone starts coupling up and dancing he prob drags me to dance with him (i'm the closest person to him it doesn't mean anything) (also he still does this even tho i'm like umm actually lets Not do that 😀-) (i overthink it and get confused bc some ppl are dancing slowly so i'm just . ??? and place my hands on his shoulders and he laughs and is like nooo no not that kind of dancing and i want to explode)

3x13 the fight (my 2nd fav ep wooo) - we're closer friends atp :33 i'm sitting w tom at a table and jean comes over to chat. during this ep jean constantly makes raps with ppl's names but just can't end them on a rhyme, so. Obviously. he tries to make one out of my name. he fails miserably and i'm like "....well i do have two first names, so you can try one with 'reyes'. ykno, maybe you can redeem yourself" and he does and fails again and me and tom are like "that's worse... How is that Worse" WKEHSJG. i feel like at some point i'd just be vibing by myself at a booth and he comes over n talks to me. everyone in this ep is so Out There (mainly cus they're drunk lol) and i'm just very To Myself (just in general but esp so at a club. which is not my normal environment-) and he tries to get me to have fun/be outgoing. 100% he drags me to the dancefloor (despite me saying i do not want to do that. also he clarifies he doesn't mean dance as in slow dance and he makes fun of me for trying to slow dance with him that one time and i'm just like '😐😐🙄🙄 Can you Shut Up. i hate you' but he just finds it funny) . also i just realized i would have to not only deal w everyone being drunk (i'm the only sober one along w chris and donna) but i'd have to deal w jean being drunk.. and he's a sad drunk (or at least with snakejuice he is)... g-dwjgsdhj. i'm just sitting at the bar on my phone and he comes up like heyyy *insert stupid nickname he makes up for me here* my man hows it going and we chat which quickly turns into him just randomly discussing abt his parents unhappy marriage and how he's secretly insecure and feels so lonely etc KWGNSJD and then i'm just stuck with him. i can't be bothered to write anymore but i def comfort him it's just a tad awkward (for me). idk if he'd even remember it bc of how drunk he is but if he does he'd appreciate it. i'd tell donna (who drives everyone who's drunk home) to text me when she gets him home and the next day i'd text him saying i hope he's feeling better. or whatever. omg idc

3x16 li'l sebastian - so during this ep jean tries to convince tom to join him and create entertainment 720 (multimedia conglomerate... they literally do the same stuff as waystar royco, but they don't Actually do it cus they're so bad at their jobs lmao), while also working on the memorial for li'l sebastian together. i would be helping them w the video presentation that happens later that night (i'd also help with smaller stuff for preparing the memorial). tom is off discussing plans with someone else and while jean and i work he talks abt entertainment 720, and how they'd need video editors and suggests i could work w them. i say i'm totally down for it and that it sounds fun and at the end of the episode when they create the company i work there with/for them :3

e720 era is very short lived but i have sm thoughts..... but i don't feel like typing them all out rn wsHN basically during e720 we're besties and also mutual pining era begins (for me at least) hehe

4x6 end of the world (aka my fav ep hehe) - this is the ep where Unfortunately e720 dies wHKSNG, bUT on the bright side it is also the ep where we become canon <3 at some point during the party jean texts lucy (tom's ex) to come to the party and they both reconcile/it's implied they get back together. i feel like after he sort of sets them up he decides he wants to confess to me. edit!: i believe the marching band bit is after the tomlucy stuff.....and during the marching band bit jean wears a pink/black uniform ..which are my favorite colors (and literally my hair color) 🤨🤨he could not be any less subtle (but i'm so oblivious i don't even think twice abt it.. i'm just like oh haha what a coincidence :D).....ok anyways. i'm hiding away in the pirate ship bouncy castle, just like.. in a corner on my phone. vibing. trying to go through life thoughts

I wrote some thoughts on the l/n starira AU that i am putting here for posterity . mainly .

I don’t really know where to start or how to go into this. I made a comment to frog about how i thought that thematically l/n weren’t too far off, at least with some things. There’s the difference between revue’s focus on selfishness, but i think in a way you can see those as the difference between theatre and music (non-theatre) as art forms. Does that make sense? It’s an interesting part of a band, that the thematic idea of selfishness literally can only go so far—anyone can hope to be the lead in theatre, but a drumset player can’t hope to play the melody (you’re about to pitch your idea for a set of chromatically tuned toms. There’s nothing i can say to you that would stick in your brain).

So that was kind of my general vibe. I felt like there were enough similarities to justify the differences to make it make sense. I was only doing it as a writing exercise and it kind of spiraled. Ppl have talked about how it’s rly hard to revue something else because besides just fun aesthetics for art, it requires upward work to try and justify the occurrences in the AU to make it actually work. So i thought, maybe, it’d be fun to try and work through those thoughts a bit and see what I could come up with.

The most major change of note is that Shiho’s parents work in theatre in some way—it’s super vague and I didn’t want to come up with any concrete answers just because it felt pointless to. One of her parents might be a rinmeikan graduate or a family member was a teacher there or something, hence how they ended up with an old Rinmeiki vhs, and a result of her parents being in theatre means her desire to be a professional musician is switched to a desire to be a professional actor. A lot of what ripples out from there in terms of their childhood is pretty self explanatory: they watch Rinmeiki, put on little plays together just the four of them, and then things fall apart as they grow older.

I wanted to get them relatively close to pjsk canon at the start moreso than starira’s, so the perf department is already closed while they’re in their first year. I think in the context of this story they had more members at the start of the year, but people (upperclassmen) dropped into general education just because they knew the department was going to close down, until it was just Shiho and Ichika. Upperclassmen are only 2nd years, bc the part of my brain that cares too much ab logistics thinks the school would let any third years graduate in their department before shutting it at the end of the year but ANYWAY.

Kanade and Shizuku showing up is just because i needed two people connected to two of our people. I don’t know what school kanade/25ji go to. MMJ are frontier they’re. Idols. I have no idea who frau platin is. Actual answer probably Iori. But instead. Haruhi Minamoto. Fuck you.

There’s a lot about what I did with honami that ends up feeling like favorite character favoritism. And it IS. But it was also tied to the fact she did brass band in middle school, so she’s converted to being the most theatre oriented behind Shiho. Rather than Honami being ostracized for what she is in canon, it’s for acting, which was mainly because i needed a reason for her to quit acting specifically. Centering acting does shift the fact that for both honami and shiho acting becomes the center of their straining relationship with ichika/each other, rather than their interpersonal problems. But revue generally ties personal problems and the stage up together, so i think it’s not an unfair thing to change, and it’s not so much a change for Shiho, anyway.

Also honami’s weapon IS NOT A SCYTHE. It is just a lance. They have pretty boring revue weapons. The scythe joke is ABOUT HER NAME ONLY. IT IS UNFORTUNATE, BUT MERELY COINCIDENCE. WE SHOULD KILL KOCHO SHIZUHA.

The. Story is meant to conceptually cover what would be the school story (partially)+opening arc… a hypothetical main story (which you will never see from me because SCOPE) would large scale consist of them trying to form an official association and performance festival, etc etc etc, alongside their individual character arcs.

As far as the characters, shiho’s follow up would cover um. Obviously. Saki and Ichika have both taken Shiho helping/joining the association to mean that she’s not planning on transferring but that is still very much on the table for her. Only Honami is aware that the . Fights within their group aren’t over yet which is meant to compound with a certain lack of confrontation.

Honami’s would center around that whole revue weapon business, and the sense of regaining her brilliance. There are certain elements that tie into pjsk canon in terms of her (re)finding the confidence to speak her mind and put her foot down more, slowly. I think also as a secondary thing she gets into directing, over time.

Saki’s the most vague in my mind. I think she’s got passion and conviction but a sort of lack of direction, even though those two usually lead to the third. It’s the least developed in my brain so far. There’s also maybe something about her illness, both in terms of recognizing her own limits and acknowledging them, but also in not sidelining herself from going for lead roles, or something.

Ichika sort of lacks a lot as a stage girl initially. In her idea that she has parts of the rest of the group in herself i thought about including some implication that she doesn’t know what she would pass on to the three of them in return, but i couldn’t fit a line in about it without drawing a lot of attention to it, and it would fly under the radar after that revue and not come up again for a while. She’s also still carrying baggage for assuming the fault of the department shutting down.

Point is, when saki and ichika agree about not fighting each other and only facing other schools from now on, they are entirely off base. Things aren’t really fully aligned.

Okay. Now for my least favorite part. I thought revue intros would be fun and now i have to talk about them a little bit briefly. All of them contain an element of their name, alongside. Okay.

Saki’s is a mess well okay that’s not fair they’re all a mess to me . The “Bright skies” in the opening references the her last name, and the reference to blossoms her first name. Hers also overtly. References Rinmeiki.

Shiho’s isn’t tied to rinmeiki at all and the name references are the most vague, but her is very. Situationally accurate and i think remains so. She does the hard carrying for the revue conversion and i think up until the transferring confrontation comes to a head she’s often sort of . Antagonistic in trying to push the rest to either rise to the challenge or give up. “Brilliance pierces through the artificial shades” is the reference to her name. Brilliance standing in for sun and um. Sun piercing through the treetops. Also the final line the use of the word rises.

Ichika’s guided by the light of stars is her name reference, alongside the “melody of our song” thing. Rinmeiki are referenced as well, “against the flow of history” and the thing about her being a hero.

Honami’s is so heavy handed it hurts me and that’s what she gets for being last. She references all four of their names, and doesn’t have a specific Rinmeiki reference.

They also all specifically reference themselves differently. Ichika and Saki as students of rinmeikan, shiho as merely a stage girl, and honami as part of the performance association (which technically doesn’t exist officially when she says that).

I think…that’s kind of everything I’ve got…at least for now. That’s the bulk of it, really, i think. I hope. I don’t know :)

sunjae's family own a group of hospitals so they're Rich rich lmao but more on that later. he also has an older sister!

he's lived sort of a rich life and not just by financial standards- from the ages of 8 - 17 he was a junior tennis player! and he pursued it pretty seriously, he trained in poland for two years and spain for 10 months, winning several big tournaments. this meant he was mainly out of classes/privately tutored & didn't rly have a lot of friends aside from his core besties. he travelled w his mom so they've always been close, and she was his biggest supporter

tennis was p much consuming his life and although he enjoyed it for the most part, the pressure from his coaches and himself rly got him into a weird spiral. his negative self talk & feelings of worthlessness ultimately cost him a couple of games and he kinda had a breakdown & lost passion for the sport he once loved.

anywys mom was kinda sad abt his withdrawal but she still supported him, dad less so bc of how much money they put towards his career & all the clubs/training but whatever. we ball.

ok he's dropped tennis.. naow what... realizing he doesn't rly know what to do w his life & his grades? aren't great so he ends up travelling w his sister for a bit bc she wants to help him get out of his funk.

sunjae gets caught up on reading lots during his service & returns with a new goal! enroll in uni and get a bachelors in international relations. he has to work hard to study but uni years were much needed to just.. round him out as a person n be around so many new people n jst be some college kid !!

fast forward he's 25 with a degree & still kinda lost lmao! his sister who opened and ran a coffee shop (hint: sunset's very own lapis roasters) has a newborn baby and wants to rly focus on being a mom so she's like hey.. wna run this business for me while i'm gone? :) and it's been two & half years of sunjae as the owner. (it's sweet tho bc on their travels together they always bonded over good coffee and sunjae could tell she's rly passionate abt it so he gives it his all)

now he's 27 and still running lapis, it's good for him but unless you know him closely you wouldn't know he's the owner. acts like he's just another coffee roaster or barista

recently he's pursuing the idea of becoming a human rights lawyer & in his first year at a law school in daegu after a long trial of applying. sunjae's decided that even tho he's unsure exactly what his path will be, he wants to help people whether that's by fighting for them in court or just serving them the best cup of coffee they've ever had :)

What are you doing to reduce the smile lines? Mine are prominent as well but nothing seems to be working

ive been trying several things and slowlly slowly they seem to b getting better which, w how promient they were/are i never rly had hope for

ive been using ice cubes on my face every morning when i wake up; like u take a ice cube and rub it on ur face until it runs out. wakes up and tightens the skin reduces inflammation etc. every once in awhile i will also use a cube of egg white instead of ice

ive been using azelaic acid on my face; had to start using it bc of whatever skin condition ive now got going on bc of my ass immune system. it helps promote skin overturn and collagen production, like retion and other such things do. however this has meant that for the first time in my life my oily ass face isnt oily, so ive also been using a light moisturizer; usually letting the azelaic acid sit and obsorb for awhile and then putting on moisturizer. ill do this 1-2 a day depending usually morning and night. ive also started using a light sunscreen on my face which i didnt before unless i was gonna b in the sun for like 5+ hours or skiing or something

ive also been doing for two weeks or so a series of face exercises and face yoga: mostly the ones of this lady. they can b a bit difficult at first and i was skeptical but after two weeks or so i have noticed a difference! my cheeks are getting more pronounced the exercise are getting easier and it seems this has liften up my skin out of my laugh lines some. for them i mainly do her cheek lifting exercises several times a day, as well as the rolling my tongue along my laugh lines on the inside one, which seems to help them not become as pronounced through the day. also, its a fun stim hehe
