Hey y'all. It's International Holocaust Awareness day Both of these books changed me. Consider reading them or please share for someone else who might. It's never a bad thing to learn more.

Inside the Gas Chambers: Eight Months in the Sonderkommando of Auschwitz by Slomo Venezia This is one of the only books I've found that touches on the living conditions and viewpoint of a Jew from Greece. Reading it, the author felt like a friend. It was horrifying.

Nazi Doctors: Medical Killing and the Psychology of Genocide this book explained people were taught to completely separate Jews from being human in people's minds in the years leading up to the Holocaust- especially in the medical field. It has interviews with some of the doctors who did these things. The site for the books also has an archive of images, films, objects, publications, recorded sounds and documents. oh shit hey i just twigged that a new book coming out soon might necessitate a reminder that kc's Various Funding Efforts have a book club tier (essentially: you get anything i send to print while you're supporting). If you want to start supporting OR upgrade to get on the list for that in time for Volume 4 coming out you should do that in like. The next week or so lmfao

Volume 4 is also gonna be the first print book with a supporter credits page, so if you wanna get in on THAT now is also the time to get your $2 donation set up. Additionally: I have lowered that perk to 2 dollars because, as I am fond of saying, literally everything helps so I would like to credit everybody. If you don't remember me talking about this at all it's because I announced it in the newsletter back in February when I didn't think I was printing anything this year. I'll elaborate on the logistics a bit later, but I figure if that's something you really want you know it already, so get while the gettin's good.

Tumblr nukes it every time I post it so I'll direct you to the regular donation link on my site's support page that also has an option to make it recurring, I already have a handful of folks who got fed up with patreon and moved their monthly pledges over there so it should work for a one-time thing or whatever else you wanna do lmao.
