This is a redraw of an old 2021 sketch (see photo below) back when the first season of Squid Game came out and I just loveee Sae-byeok (Player 067) a lot, and everytime I saw fanart of her and Ji-yeong, they looked so much like Cassunzel to me, theyre basically Korean Cassunzel lol and that's when the old sketch was born. After recently finishing the final season, I decided to redraw the sketch to scratch the itch I've had for months to draw Cass again after a long while.

I know most people forgot or simply don't care about Squid Game at this point, which is fair considering Season 1 is still better 🤣 but I didn't wanna just let this WIP stay in the drafts because I still liked it a lot, so here we are.

I listened to a lot of Kpop while drawing this (just the KPDH effect kicking in) but more specifically Dreamcatcher, the fusion of rock in their songs is just so perfect for the vibe of this piece, chefs kiss (special thanks to @dserpentes for the suggestion 🫶)

On a spring cleaning day in my room earlier this year, I found a pile of all my old sketchbooks on a shelf, and got distracted looking through all the pages, remembering all the times I drew during classes whenever I get bored, during college when I was working on my assignments, during my first job brainstorming concepts for a client, or during unemployment when I just wanted to pass the time inbetween job hunting. All these phases of my life have been documented here, in the form of sketches or chicken scratch doodles never posted in the public.

PEN & PAPER is a 50-page compilation of sketchbook pages from over a decade (2013-2024) with commentary, including:

- Fanart of animated shows and/or movies such as Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Tangled the Series, etc

- OCs and character design explorations

- Figure drawings and anatomy studies (nudity is included, but is non-sexual)

- And more!

I never thought I would have to write a message like this. I am a father of five children, living in Gaza — and we are starving.

We have no food. No clean water. No safety. My children cry from hunger every day, and as their father, my heart breaks because I cannot feed them. I have injuries from Israeli airstrikes, and my health is getting worse, but the worst pain I feel is watching my children suffer without being able to help them.

This is not a famine. This is forced starvation. We are being deprived of food and aid. We are dying slowly, silently.

Please, I am begging you — if you can donate anything, even the smallest amount, it can mean a meal for my children. If you cannot donate, please share my plea with others. Your voice could reach someone who can help.

You're my favorite face when I'm sad

I recently turned 27 today and as a gift for you guys, here's some Catradora supposedly for the 5th-year anniversary of the SPOP finale last May 15 (thanks to my lovely patrons for choosing this ship for me to draw)! I have to be honest I barely remember much of SPOP these days even though it definitely consumed me for a good while during its run and especially in 2020. But I had a lot of fun revisiting them and then comparing my once viral 2020 animatic (remember Catra reads Tangled, anyone?) to this drawing in 2025 made me realize I've really grown and improved so much for the past 5 years.

I just want to say thank you all so much for supporting me all these years regardless what fandom you followed me for, or if you just like my art in general regardless of the subject matter, it still means a lot to me. So thank you again for sticking around!!

For the first time in a long time I made a short comic, and this is based on @sun-stardust 's cassunzel college AU one-shot fic titled "feelings are fatal", where Cass plays rugby, deals with her hand injury in the process, she and Rapunzel are roomates and have their first kiss, and I could go on but I just love it so SO much, it's one of my fav cassunzel fics of all time. And knowing me, I'm a huge sucker for anything modern AU related. I first read it 2 years ago and wanted to make fanart for the longest time, so this was long overdue but better late than never

Some of these scenes I just totally made up and others were direct scenes of the fic, with added puns and references for the sillies bc I can and I will (but dont be fooled the fic is actually very angsty, I just like to make jokes at the expense of the pain). Also added Lance bc I missed him in particular, I need more Lance content tbh

i just want to add also that during my time watching the show since the very beginning i already saw cass hate on the early days of tumblr since challenge of the brave, one of my personal fav eps and that its purposely meant to set up her entire s3 arc...

yes we know her s3 arc couldve been handled better but yeah its been 5 years and at this point the discourse is so old, so tiring, and we dont want to see it. period.

thanks to everyone for the continued support, sorry I don't have better news. aleafinacup is still posting new chapters with plagiarised chunks from my fic Untangled.

a few people asked me how they can help - you can comment on their fic and ask them to take it down! please keep things civil though.

they've blocked me on everything, but I can still view their fic, so I'm continuing to add plagiarism examples to my Google doc (we're at 8 pages now, yikes) and hope that A03 will take the fic down eventually.
