Other stuff I use to cleanse and protect my home!

Apart from the egg powder I showed before, I also use some kind of "Florida water"!

For my latest batch, I boiled together:

Lavender Moon water

Cinnamon

Orange peels and leaves

Alcohol

Lemon juice

Sage

Cloves (2 or 3)

I spray it near any entrances and I've also been spraying it on top of my head before leaving the house (when going to work) as a form of veiling!

I truly feel like it helped. It was combined with my recent Back to Sender ritual!

Gonna spend today getting the house (or at least my own living areas) ready for Yule! Lots of cleaning magick and cleansing going on today. I think I'm going to go on a hike tomorrow to a small redwood forest near me and spend the afternoon in nature (even if it rains, I don't care lol), and I might make some soup for dinner 😍 My friend gave me her recipe for a tea she makes for Yule, I'm excited to try that one out 😍 I'm so excited for my first Yule! It might be a solo celebration, but I'm going to make the best of it!

Humans have fairytales about children going into the spooky woods and never coming back to scare them into staying home where it's safe. But in some fairytales, the child goes into the spooky woods and finds great reward instead.

Spiders have fairytales warning children not to go too far Down The Wall. They have a tacit agreement, an uneasy contract with the other...inhabitants of the area. For past a certain invisible line, the beast can reach up from the depths to crush them without a second thought. But in some spider fairytales, the child crosses the invisible line, encounters the beast, and is ferried away through a pocket dimension (tupperware) into a distant land of plenty (outside) that is completely unlike the even, barren wasteland from which they come.
