if he had finished writing the sasi finale, i wouldnt feel as negatively towards it. but he's shown with rswr that he cannot juggle two series, let alone three. as much as he can insist its a "mini series", i cant trust thomas to not make it a bigger thing than it needs to be, just like he did with asides (before changing the meaning of asides)

apparently its coming out this saturday so. i guess we just have to wait and see :/

20: Do you work on a single project or many at the same time? How does that work for you?

I work on many many projects at a time and judging by my output it works terribly. (More seriously I think being able to keep a bunch of irons in the fire at once is really beneficial for getting ideas out there and procrastinating on one work by writing another.)

24: Thoughts on flashbacks/flashforwards.

They're fine, but I don't know what I think the best way to demarcate them in text would be. I don't think I write with them very often unless my memory is completely fucked, which it may well be.

32: Do you have a word/expression that you always use in your writing?

Lots of stuff being big and wet, which I don't think you need to be a psychoanalyst to figure out. Lots of people smiling with teeth. Apparently spelling out "tee shirt" in a distinctive way.

36: How do you come up with fic titles? What’s the one you’re most proud of?

Lots of them are quotes from era-appropriate (or thematically appropriate) literature when I can get away with it, but a lot more of them are just Sufjan Stevens/Leonard Cohen/Springsteen lyrics or otherwise lyrics from bands I got into because of fanmixes in 2014. For the former I love "The Heidelburgh Tun", taken from Moby-Dick for a North Water fic about a greased-up whaleship gangbang. EDIT NO I LIED LMAO The Heidelburgh Tun is perfectly vile North Water fic about seal gutting as a sexual act, "Norway Maelstrom" is my TNW greased-up whaleship gangbang, also from Moby-D.
