Gotta make macarons for my niece’s grad party and she gave me two flavors and four colors so I’m trying to figure out what flavors to do. I’ve got a dusty pink, dusty blue, light yellow, and a light olive green. She requested strawberry (pink) and raspberry (yellow) and I figured vanilla (blue) was a safe bet for another flavor. That leaves me with green. Help?

For the record, matcha and pistachio have both been vetoed but would have been the obvious choice. I’ve also made chocolate ganache filled macarons green in the past so I’m sure it sounds weird but it’s kind of just an easy crowd pleaser flavor like vanilla.

this has been in my mind for a bit now but i don't know if i'll write it so posting it here instead

kwami swap from the beginning. adrien gets tikki and the ladybug miraculous, and marinette gets plagg, and it's also reverse crush, so adrien likes marinette who actually borderline genuinely hates adrien (for being friends with chloé on purpose), and miss fortune has the fattest crush on élytres and élytres has the greatest appreciation of his partner (but all platonic!)

anyway, so obviously, tikki can't get cookies to recharge so adrien spends so so so much time in the garden so tikki can snack on bugs and bask in the sun. he finds himself talking to the statue of his mother, smelling the roses, and generally enjoying life a lot more with the sun and being surrounded by nature, and the garden becomes his safe spot. he also ends up having a mini-garden in his room by the windows and talks to the plants and grows his own strawberries

one day he's with miss fortune and their kind-of one-sided conversation turns to desserts and adrien off-handedly mentions how his kwami likes cookies but he's not allowed to have any sweets as a civilian, and the next time they meet up, she's brings him cookies. one for him and one for tikki. adrien internally combusts and thanks her profusely and hugs her and marinette actually combusts and does not function for the whole day, and eventually, she just starts bringing three cookies (one for herself), and when there's a kid akuma, she feels bad and gives the kid one of hers and the kid loves it, and she starts bringing cookies everywhere and becomes paris' cookie-dealer

To elaborate on things for Kale though. It's a thing for me for another certain blond, Xemnas, where in which he's so settled into my Headcanon for him canon will bounce off of him, and any new information MIGHT be included but more or less will not be, and he just sits there...

Extremely delayed art update!

No update last week due to start of moving and no progress this week due to continued moving and heat. Moving is all done (almost...there are a few things in the old place still but just tiny things). My modem did get fried due to lightening...which was fun. The AC is currently leaking and off, but at least it is not too hot now.

Volunteer activities have also picked up, but that should *maybe* become less busy. I think most of the emails are out. It is just processing responses now.

Instead of trying to do any art, I'm taking a step back and going to start A1 for L.O.C. from the beginning. It didn't look right when I left it and restarting just makes more sense. I will say that working on this part, makes me more excited for Meanwhile (which has to happen -- I think it will be therapeutic once i get it going). ALSO -- I saw a piece of art on tumblr and now this thing will have small scope creep. Like a weekend's worth of scope creep! It will be excellent! I should look into supplies -- I might already have things.

D.C. has two parts left that are identical. And then it is done :D. So excited!

I think my plan is to actually get this weeks items done and then next week I should have more time due to vacations. Might just spend a day or two wrapping up everything.

To compensate for the lack of art updates, macarons! The heat resulted in 6 trays of perfect shells. All flawless. Which was a problem...since I tend to eat the shells that came out poorly as a snack. I'll finish these tomorrow...this filling is very easy.
