She goes out of her way to try to find out who the other mommy is, she's even used her job privileges but this woman's nowhere to be found. It's not a teacher, it's not some other kid's mom, it's not even a fictional character, and Amy's starting to go insane.

Turns out Mac's first favorite mommy is Jake. He'd heard some other kid talk about his “stay-at-home mommy” and he somehow was like “oh that's what daddy does, so he must be a stay-at-home mommy too”

This is late BUT I have two things to say!:

1. I miss the halloween heist at the precinct

2. Me and Amy hosted a little heist at our home and Mac helped mommy and daddy win because we are the most amazing human/genius family EVER!

(To be fair to everyone else it was rigged so Mac can win his first ever halloween heist but they’re all still butt hurt like the losery losers they are… so am I but my son can be my successor)

They try really really really hard not to become their own parents when it comes to Mac's choice of having a child or not, but Mac does end up having a child, much to their joy.

I HC that Mac wasn't as lucky in love as his parents, so he probably coparents his child with the mom, and Jake and Amy ADORE the kiddo and dote on them until they're spoiled rotten.

jake had fallen asleep on the couch. even though mac was 2 he was still a whirlwind. jake lay on his stomach on the couch, drooling into the pillow while mac was standing, playing with his toys on jake’s sleeping back. when he heard amy walk in the room, almost on instinct jake startled awake. “i totally was not just sleeping while our son was unattended.” he shook himself awake as he sat up against the couch while mac smiled up at amy, and ran over to her.
