She goes out of her way to try to find out who the other mommy is, she's even used her job privileges but this woman's nowhere to be found. It's not a teacher, it's not some other kid's mom, it's not even a fictional character, and Amy's starting to go insane.

Turns out Mac's first favorite mommy is Jake. He'd heard some other kid talk about his “stay-at-home mommy” and he somehow was like “oh that's what daddy does, so he must be a stay-at-home mommy too”

They try really really really hard not to become their own parents when it comes to Mac's choice of having a child or not, but Mac does end up having a child, much to their joy.

I HC that Mac wasn't as lucky in love as his parents, so he probably coparents his child with the mom, and Jake and Amy ADORE the kiddo and dote on them until they're spoiled rotten.

Mac perked up when his dad said his name. He was sitting on the floor, playing with his Transformers, while his parents talked on their iPad to his aunts and uncles about something. He was trying to be good and quiet while they were talking, but it had been forever and he was bored.

“Why bother? We always turn on each other in the end. Besides, it’s not our fault you’re breeders.”

Mac doesn't really know what's going on, but first there's candy, and then his parents disappear, and then he gets to hang out with Cheddar. Jake and Amy learn a lesson about parenting; Captain Raymond Holt is suspicious.

Why do I have a strong feeling that Jake's gonna become an FBI Detective at the end of Brooklyn Nine-Nine? Charles was super emotional in the teaser and the only conclusion I made was that Jake and Amy are leaving the Nine-Nine... I don't know, shows really lost formula and direction ever since COVID-19 was declared as a pandemic. I'm curious to see what'll happen.
