Kira usually doesn't do the lunch rush. So as the people starting walking she tried her best to keep up. The normally adept barista felt overwhlemed by the orders, each getting almost as long as the line. Kira kept pushing though forgetting to tie her shoes. As she got the macchiato in her hands she shouted.

"One macchiatio extra excholate pow-" and she tripped spilling the drink on the counter and a patron. Kira began to bow profusely. "I'm so sorry let me get you a coffee free of charge." She said looking through the pile of orders. "Can I get your order number or name please?"

"It's three streets away." Kira said with a firm nod. "So defintely much closer than four blocks." The kitsune reassured as she examined her with the jacket. "It looks good on you." Kira said trying to flatter the other. The kitsune noticed once more Lydia seemed not so happy. "Hey are you okay there?" She asked in a blunter than intended tone.

She hoped that in all her trance , she closed the doors to her own home . if not , prada either got out to look for her or was a mess waiting for her at home . although , she doubted that she practiced safety first given the circumstances of her being naked in the middle of the road . putting on the hello kitty rain coat , lydia simply sighed . She was tired and so much was going on in her head , she needed to tell scott and stiles .

Kira wasn't the type to go clothing shopping in a place this....fancy. When possible Kira would order online or go to the thrift store. But her mother insisted on her getting a dress for this family gathering.

Intially Kira tried not to stare at the dazzling blonde, her eyes and appearance felt straight out of a baroque painting of sorts. Kira couldn't help but wonder what it would take to be like that in a few years.

Still she tried to stay on task, coming out without her glasses in a turquoise gown that screamed prom 2014. By mistake she approached the blonde and did a twirl in her dress.

"Are you sure this isn't too flashy?" The naive kitsune asked without much thought.

sunlight glinted off the pristine storefronts, a gaudy display of normalcy that grated against her ancient senses. still, the original vampire strode forward with all the regal poise of a runway model, her honey-blonde curls bouncing with each confident step. rebekah's grey-blue gaze swept across the passing shoppers, cataloging each face with the detached scrutiny of a predator sizing up potential prey. these people, these humans , with their fleeting lives and flimsy dreams... she envied them and their simple lives. their flimsy dreams and all. and yet rebekah found herself drawn to the endless racks of clothing and accessories lining the store windows. a thousand years of fashion had passed her by, trapped in a coffin or shackled by the very family she had sworn to protect. with the tilt of her chin, rebekah swept into the nearest boutique, her senses immediately assaulted by the cacophony of colors and fabrics. nimble fingers danced across the delicate silks and intricate lace, cataloging each item with a discerning eye. oh, how she had missed this - the simplicity of it all. so human. a wicked smile curled her lips as she selected a sumptuous gown, its crimson hue reminding her of the blood that sang in her veins. "excellent," rebekah purred, catching the eye of a nearby shop attendant. rebekah pointed "if you could be a darling and fetch me a few more... additions to my wardrobe. i fear i have some catching up to do."

Based on what I’ve seen from the trailers for Trap (2024), M. Night Shyamalan has a better understanding of the appeal of Death Note than the creators of the Netflix live-action movie did. I mean, if you switch Cooper with Light Yagami, the movie still works. Like, I can actually imagine L as the one who set up the trap.

(Also, that end clip of Josh laughing as an act, then immediately going into a frown when he has to get serious. That’s straight up a Light move)

Light Yagami is desperate to know L's name and face. To know everything about his nemesis ("So I can kill him! Ryuk, stop laughing!"). And so, he turns on the TV, sees the promo video for the upcoming elections and thinks...

L would have to show up in person, unmasked and with his real name, if he was an elected Minister.

A few hours of paperwork filed anonymously and through a shady lawyer, a few hours of hacking and anonymous donations, and The Great Detective L is the latest minister candidate, running as an independent.

L does not know how or why he is suddenly running in the elections. Was this even legal? He wasn't even a citizen! Surely no one would vote for a candidate with no public appearances, a profile page with no photo, obviously overblown promises in propaganda -

"I'm so sorry it was an accident and I definetely didn't mean to-" Kira said as she continued to bow. There was a pause. "I'm K-kira." Kira finally stammered.
