asked my doctor for a refill on my whimsy they denied me so fast. well jokes on them i synthesized my own homemade whimsy right he- (the erlenmyer flask into which i was pouring a glowing green goop explodes into thousands of glass shards, killing me instantly)

I know Flanagan’s Dark Tower series will likely be excellent, but as is the nature of all book-to-screen adaptations, it’s never quite going to measure up to the version that exists in my head. Specifically the montage at the end of the first episode where we’re introduced to Eddie, Susannah and Jake (at this point still living their sad, lonely lives in New York), while Les Fleurs by Minnie Riperton plays, culminating in the reveal of the rose in the vacant lot right before we smash-cut to credits as the song reaches its crescendo

can we all agree that it's pathetic when so-called "friends" try to sabotage your opportunities? you're clearly jealous that the amulet of eternal darkness chose me and no amount of "please fight it, i know you're still in there somewhere" is going to change that. crab bucket mentality. grow up.
