Lydia: Oh, yeah. Do you like it?
Y/N: Looks okay-- I guess.
[later]
Y/N, sobbing into Allison's shoulder: She looks so good.
Allison: I know.

Lydia x Brother!reader - trust you
Tumblr media
Lydia Martin X Brother!Reader (if ok? If not, could I request it be sibling!reader instead please?) Who has ADHD and has an interest in supernatural creatures, and Lydia has always gone to him for advice on any new threats, but when R is attacked by a monster Lydia is both worried and feeling guilty for not telling R about the supernatural world being real, but assures R that her and the pack have his back? Sorry for it being long! - Anon💜
Sitting in your room, you tapped your pen against the book in front of you as you scrolled through the webpage on your computer.
You were noting things down about druids, a current fascination of yours.
You were curious about supernatural creatures, you didn’t care that they were myths, you simply just loved learning about them, the lore behind them.
And right now you were down the rabbit hole of druids and the lore behind them, there was is much to read and learn, you hadn’t realised you had been at it nearly all day until your sister came in.
“I have a question about banshees.”
You blinked, shaking your head a little as you looked up at your sister, turning your chair around to look at you properly as you kicked your feet up on the desk.
“Go for it Lydia.”
“Well, what exactly do they do?”
“I suppose it depends on the country and the lore, some say they can predict death, when they sense or know someone is close to death the scream. It can be said that if you hear a banshee scream, you or someone close to you will die soon.”
She nodded her head, asking a few more follow up questions.
You happily answered them all, unaware of her muted phone in her pocket with the rest of her friends listening to the conversation.
When she seemed happy with everything, she smiled at you and stood up, hugging you lightly.
“Thank you!”
“Welcome, but you’ve reminded me I haven’t eaten all day so I’m going to grab some food, want anything?”
“Oh can you bring me some rice from that really nice place you go to?”
“Absolutely!”
You jumped up and tossed a hoodie on, pulling some shoes on and left your room only to go back to grab your car keys and leave.
Lydia had left just before you so you locked up the house and began to drive across the town to your favourite takeaway.
Tapping your fingers on the steering wheel, you glanced in your rear view mirror for a split second, and when you looked to the road again you slammed on your breaks.
Your car screeched to a halt and you quickly jumped out, rushing forward to make sure you hadn’t hit the person who just appeared in the middle of the road.
“Are you insane?!” You yelled.
You walked around the front of your car and furrowed your brows a little, looking around.
There was no one there, but you were sure that you had seen someone.
So, you did one last check and turned around, and the last thing you remembered was glowing blue eyes.
It was Noah who found you, he had a report of a car abandoned in the middle of the street, and he went to investigate and he just happened to see you in the edge of his headlights.
You were rushed to the hospital and into surgery, and he immediately called Stiles to tell your sister.
The whole pack were at the hospital, Stiles, Scott, Derek, Peter, Alison, Lydia, Noah and Melissa who had just finished her shift.
“Oh god.. we.. I.. I should’ve told him…” Lydia sobbed.
“You were trying to protect him..” Scott whispered.
“And now he’s dying!” Lydia snapped.
“Hey, hey he’s not dying. They said he’s doing really well, just another hour at most until they’re done.” Melissa said.
Lydia kept blaming herself and they did everything they could to try and reassure her.
At her request, one of the werewolves stayed with you at all times to keep you safe, mostly Derek or Peter.
And a few days later you woke up, in pain and groggy.
“Well hey.”
You looked to your side, brows furrowed a little.
“Mrs… McCall…?”
“Give me a second alright, don’t move.”
You gave a small nod and she did some checks on you before helping you slowly sit up and rested you against the pillows.
“The sheriff is actually outside, do you mind answering a few questions for him?”
You weakly shook your head and she brought him in.
“Can you tell me what happened that night?” He asked.
You opened your mouth and closed it again.
“I… glowing..”
“Glowing?” He asked.
“Glowing.. eyes…”
The two adults shared a look and nodded to you, and you told them what you could remember which wasn’t much.
Melissa left to call your sister and parents, and Noah stayed with you, sitting on the end of your bed helping you ease your nerves by talking to you.
You had to stay in hospital for another week and you were finally allowed to go home.
You didn’t leave your room much, you stayed inside it, and it’s what you were doing now, standing in front of your mirrored wardrobe staring at your bare chest, the deep, jagged, pink scars going across it.
There was a knock on your door, and you looked towards it to see Lydia walking in.
“Do they still hurt…?” She asked quietly.
You shrugged a tiny bit.
“A little I guess.”
Grabbing your hoodie you tossed it on, and turned to look at her.
She had tears in her eyes.
“Lydia… come here.”
You walked over and hugged her tightly, and she sobbed.
“It’s all my fault!”
“You didn’t hurt me, it’s not your fault.”
“No! No I should’ve told you straight away!”
You pulled away and frowned at her.
“It’s why I was asking all those questions! Why I come to you asking weird questions because I know you know the answers!” She sobbed.
You placed a hand on her shoulder.
“Hey, hey tell me what’s going on? Why’re you blaming yourself?”
Lydia took a small breath and wiped her eyes.
“They’re real…”
You looked at her confused.
“Supernatural creatures are real…”
“Lydia you’re my sister, I love you most of the time, but did you hit your head.”
“No! I’m telling the truth! Just.. come with me.”
She grabbed your arm and dragged you to her car, and she drove you to a building you didn’t recognise.
She dragged you inside and you saw all her friends were stood waiting.
“Show him.” She said.
“Are you sure?” Derek asked.
“Show him please.”
They shared a look but nodded, Scott, Derek and Peter stood forward and you watched in horror as their eyes changed, faces changed.
Yellow, blue and red all staring at you, and you stumbled back into the door, dragging Lydia behind you.
You put yourself between them and her.
“They’re okay! They won’t hurt you!”
She slowly took you to the couch and they explained everything to you, and you were having a hard time processing it all.
But you just nodded along.
“So.. you’re all supernatural creatures…?”
“Me and Stiles aren’t.” Alison said.
You turned to Lydia.
“You’re… like them…?”
“No I’m a banshee…”
You just nodded your head and looked away.
“How can.. how can you feel so safe with them…?”
You mumbled.
Lydia reached out, placing her hand on your arm.
“They’re going to protect you I promise, you’re my brother, you’ve always been part of the pack.” She said.
“It was one of them that.. that did this to me…”
“It wasn’t them I swear, it was someone else we’re looking for them.” Stiles said.
You glanced at him.
“How can.. how can you feel safe with them..?”
“Because we’re trying to protect people.” He smiled.
You looked to your sister.
“I promise you, they have your back. We have your back. Okay? I promise.”
You looked at her, and glanced at the pack then turned back to Lydia.
You slowly nodded your head you weren’t sure what to think about all of this, but you trusted your sister so you wanted to trust her on this too

Just Friends // Stiles Stilinski
Pairing: Stiles Stilinski x Fem!Reader
WC:1.7k
Summary: Stiles is struggling after being controlled by the Nogitsune, and he turns to you for help. But little does he know, it will turn your friendship into so much more. Takes place after season 3. (Allison isn't dead!!!)
Warnings: Swearing, angsty as fuck, sad Stiles, kissing, implied smut if you squint?, PTSD.
A/N: HI GUYS!!! I really like this fic and ofc I hope y'all will too! This is my first time writing about Stiles and I think I did pretty well! As always, enjoy!! And comments and reblogs are appreciated. P.S. lmk if y'all want me to do a part 2 where they tell their friends (Scott's reaction hee hee) - Claire ♡
After Stiles was released from the control of the Nogitsune, things seemed to go back to normal. Well, at least that’s what one would think from the outside.
The series of events had taken a severe toll on Stiles’s mental health, and even though he did a good job of hiding it, you were the one person who seemed to know what he needed.
It all started about a week after everything happened, it was the middle of the night and you were jolted awake by the sound of your phone buzzing by your head.
You were about to hit decline but then you saw it was Stiles and feelings of worry began to stir within you.
You quickly answered, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes as you forced yourself awake.
"Stiles, is everything okay?"
"Yeah...well not really. I hate to ask, but do you think you could drive over to my house. I just really don't want to be alone right now." Stiles's voice was groggy, and laced with exhaustion. The fact alone that he was asking you this made you immediately agree.
You hopped out of bed, not bothering to change out of your pajamas, slipped on your slippers, and you were on your way.
Your house wasn't far from Stiles's, about a five minute drive with no traffic.
You lived directly in the middle of him and Scott, being only a short distance from each. The close proximity was the main reason the three of you had stayed so close throughout your school years.
"Friends", that's all you and Stiles had ever been. Although, neither of you could deny the chemistry between the two of you, risking your friendship never seemed worth it.
It was on this night that all that would begin to change.
When you arrived at Stiles's house, he had left the door unlocked for you so you wouldn't have to fumble around with the spare key in the dark.
You found Stiles laying on his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. He looked lost in thought, his eyes rimmed with dark circles. It hurt seeing him look so drastically different from the Stiles you knew, and you wanted to do whatever you could to help.
You laid down next to him, your body facing his.
"Hey..." Stiles began, still staring at the ceiling.
"Stiles, what's going on? You know you can trust me with anything right?"
"Yeah...It's just a lot to put into words." Stiles's voice cracked, which told you that he was fighting tears.
You sat up and stiles copied the movement. You were now both facing each other, sitting legs crossed on his bed. You pushed aside the unspoken vow between the two of you and placed his hands in yours. Stiles's breath hitched, and you could tell he was avoiding eye contact with you.
"Take all the time you need, I'll listen to every word." you said softly.
"I know everyone thinks I'm doing okay, but I can't even function. I can't sleep without having nightmares. I can't eat or do anything without remembering all the awful stuff he made me do. I didn't know who else to tell except you. Scott has his own set of issues, and you're the only person I trust like this."
Stiles began to ramble, and your heart broke as he did. How had you not noticed earlier? Yes, it had only been a week, but you knew Stiles better than anyone. You felt like an awful best friend.
"I'm so tired, I just want to feel normal again." He could no longer hold back the tears, the dam broke and Stiles became a sobbing mess.
You pulled him into your arms with no hesitation, which only made Stiles want to cry.
"No, no I'm going to get your clothes all wet." Stiles protested trying to pull away, but you wouldn't let him.
"A few tears never hurt anyone." You said.
At that Stiles let himself fall into you, his body going limp with exhaustion. You tried not to cry along with him, wiping your burning eyes to prevent the tears.
"It'll be okay." You whispered as Stiles's sobs turned into sniffles. He finally looked up, his cheeks wet from the tears that had escaped his puffy eyes.
You did the only thing you could think of and gave him two kisses, one peck on each cheek. Stiles lips turned up in a small smile, his cheeks still turning red despite his current state.
"I think the first thing we need to do is get you to bed." You smiled, pushing Stiles's messy hair back.
He looks at you and nods without moving from your arms. You lean back on his bed, pulling him with you. You positioned yourself to where Stiles was resting on top of your body, his head pressed to your chest. You kept your arms wrapped around him, squeezing his body in an attempt to comfort him.
As you were settling down you heard Stiles whisper your name softly.
"Yeah?"
"Promise you'll wake me up if I'm having a nightmare?"
"I promise." You replied as you reached down and laced your fingers with his.
Stiles gave you a half-hearted smile in response, his puffy eyes glazed over from fatigue.
"Thank you." Stiles murmured, fighting sleep.
"Shhh." Was your only response as you traced your fingers along his back.
"I love you." It was an incoherent whisper, so much that you couldn't be sure of his words. But something told you you had heard correctly.
By the time you went to reciprocate the statement, the room was filled with Stiles's muffled snores.
You sighed and proceeded to fall asleep yourself.
Stiles slept through the night for the first time in weeks.
After that the trajectory of your relationship began to shift.
From holding Stiles's hand to remind him that everything was okay when you were with your friends, to staying up all night listening to him talk.
You rarely got to sleep at home anymore, but you didn't mind. You weren't far if you needed something, and it helped Stiles get a good night's sleep. Yet he would still apologize every time. "I'm sorry to bother you again.", "I promise this is the last time.", when in reality you were definitely okay with an excuse to spend more time with him.
You had become his anchor to reality, and Stiles could feel things beginning to look up with every day that passed.
Your friends picked up on it too.
"So, are you and Stiles together, or..." Lydia and Allison asked when they managed to corner you at your locker one day. It was a question you didn't know how to answer. Eventually landing on, 'it's complicated.'
"What's going on with you and Stiles, I'm starting to feel like a third wheel when we're together." It was a joke, but there was certainly some truth behind it.
You laughed it off and changed the subject, but didn't forget the comment that night when you and Stiles laid in each other's arms drifting off to sleep.
Surprisingly, it wasn't you who finally brought it up, but Stiles.
It was a Friday night, and the two of you were at your house instead of his.
"Shit, I forgot clothes to change into." Stiles said as he fumbled through his backpack.
"It's all good, I have a spare pair of clothes in my drawer for you." You replied, pointing to the dresser.
Stiles smiled and laughed, holding eye contact with you for perhaps a moment too long.
"You take care of so much for me, sometimes I feel like you're my wife." It was a casual statement, but it put you at a loss for words.
You laughed awkwardly, failing to come up with a reply.
Stiles could very clearly read your emotions, he pushed the drawer shut and walked back over to sit next to you.
You tried to calm yourself, but your heart wouldn't stop beating at what felt like an unhealthy pace.
"You're my best friend..." Stiles began, taking your clammy hands in his.
"You've done so much for me in the past few weeks, just like a best friend should; but I can't help thinking that this feels like something more."
You felt as if the world stopped. You knew this conversation would come, but definitely not now. Your brain seemed to stop producing thoughts.
"Please tell me I'm not imagining all of this. I know this is a lot at once, but Y/N I love you." Stiles's voice shook from the overwhelming nerves.
"I love you too." You spoke for the first time in minutes, it felt amazing after you had heard it fall from his lips that first night you spent together.
Stiles's eyes gazed into yours, and suddenly the feeling of just your hands touching wasn't enough.
You reached over and grabbed Stiles face, finally closing the gap between the two of you.
You pulled Stiles down as you did, his body landing on top of you sinking into the kiss.
You tugged on his hair lightly, pulling him as close to you as humanly possible. Stiles fell deeper into the kiss, locking your hands together and pressing your body further into the soft mattress.
After a few minutes of pure bliss you broke apart. The air that filled your lungs was both a blessing and a curse. You needed to breathe, but the absence of his touch only made you want him more.
Stiles hovered over you, the sound of his heavy breathing was the only thing you could hear over your own beating heart.
"So I take it you're not just my best friend anymore?" Stiles giggled, pressing his forehead gently against yours.
"Nope."
You gave a sly smile before pulling Stiles down by his shirt and connecting your lips once more.

out of the woods: theo raeken.
Tumblr media
1989 (Heartbreak Grill’s Version)
looking at it now it all seems to simple. we were lying on your couch. i remember.
“i have to go.”
theo groaned as the words left my lips. his arms, wrapped securely around my waist, tightened their grip as he inhaled a hopeless breath.
“no,” he nudged my neck with his nose, eliciting a soft giggle from me. “no, stay, please.”
“theo,” i wriggled away from his ticklish touches, “i have to go.”
i tried to remove myself from his grasps, but he was strong. his large, warm hands, slid over my bare stomach, gripping onto my hips. he pressed my back into the mattress, as my wrestling arms came to rest on his shoulders. he had been growing out his hair and now it hung low enough to ghost over my collarbones. i shivered as the strands drug across my skin, theo’s lips attached to my neck.
“theo,” i persisted, “scott gets off at 8. he’s going to come into my room and check if i’m there. when i’m not, he’s going to notify every single supernatural within a thirty mile radius, and every policeman within the county. they will be on your doorstep by 8:15, and i will be dead.”
as i spoke, i continued to try to fight theo’s strong hold, lifting my body from the mattress, and pushing back at his shoulders. my words seemed like a good enough threat to get him moving.
“i don’t want you to go,” he moved to the edge of the bed, feet flat upon the floor.
i stood and gathered my clothes, occasionally tossing him pointed glances, “as much as i enjoy this- i would prefer to not die tonight. i have a chemistry exam tomorrow. here-“
theo rolled his eyes as i tossed his boxers to him. it landed on top of his head. i stifled a laugh and tugged on my jeans.
theo ripped the boxers off and mocked my laughter, “haha, very funny.”
i shrugged and stuck my head through my t-shirt. “listen,” i made my way towards the front door of theo’s tiny, studio apartment. it wasn’t much, but it beat sleeping in his truck every night, like he had been doing. i laced up my shoes, “i should be able to see you tomorrow night. i’ll text you, though, let you know what’s happening.”
theo noticed i was reaching for the door handle and quickly shimmied into his boxers. he slapped a hand against the door, “wait!”
it slammed shut. i looked up at him, an expectant expression on my face. “yeah?”
theo caught my chin in his hands, and planted a sweet kiss on my lips. i melted into the moment, leaning my weight into his hold, allowing my fingers to gently ghost his chest. however, as soon as theo moved to deepen the exchange, my phone started ringing.
my eyes flew open, a wide, worried look taking over my dazed face. i held out a finger towards theo, as if to shush him, as i answered the call.
“hello? oh, hi, scott,” i shot theo a glance. he crossed his arms, figure shrunk in a guilty demeanor. “no, yeah- i’m on my way home now. oh, chinese sounds good. yep- no, yeah. just gotta shower first. just- with gina. yep. studying. chem exam tomorrow! yep. yeah. k. love you! bye.”
i stared at my phone for a second, as though scott were going to climb out of it and kill theo for even being in the same room as me. when that didn’t happen, i let out a deep breath.
“okay,” i looked to the boy, “i have got to get going. i’ll see you tomorrow, yeah?”
“yeah,” theo couldn’t help but grin down at me, “tomorrow.”
i noticed his body tilt towards mine, his chest lean towards me, and i held up a finger, cocked a brow. “don’t even think about it or i will never get out of here.”
i could hear him groaning as i shut the door behind me.
you took a polaroid of us, then discovered the rest of the world was black and white, but we were in screaming color.
“what are you doing for your birthday?”
i balanced the popcorn bowl on my lap as i twisted around on the couch. theo glanced over at me from the fridge, flashing that bright, wide grin.
i couldn’t help but smile, though nothing special really was happening. “not sure yet. why do you ask?”
“just wondering.”
i stared at the back of his stooped, trying to read between the lines of his very few words. theo could feel my gaze, could hear my curious heartbeat, and looked up against. “what?”
i slowly brought a piece of popcorn to my lips, brows furrowed, “why are you asking?”
“nothing,” he reached into the fridge and grabbed a can of coke. the door shut softly behind him. he neared the couch and cracked open the drink. i continued to stare him. “why do you keep staring at me like that?”
“because i know it’s not nothing,” i set the bowl down on the coffee table and came up onto my knees. theo tilted his head and peered down at me. “you’ve got stuff on your mind. say it. let it out into the open. this is a judgement free zone.”
he chuckled softly as i gestured to the tiny apartment. “not exactly a zone as is.”
i reached up and smacked his forearm. “just tell me! please?”
theo took another sip of his coke, thinking intensely. “there’s really not much to say. i was just thinking how your birthday is coming up and i wanted to maybe do something special for you.”
“wait, really?” i perked up, elbows pressed into the back of the couch and chin planted upon my palms. “aw, wait really?”
theo rolled his eyes, “yes, really. but, i know you guys probably have stuff planned. so, i was just trying to get a feel for when we could fit something in.”
“no one’s said anything to me about any plans. though,” my mind wandered a bit, and the stupid hope theo’s healing heart always gave me filled my lungs, “if they do figure something out, i don’t see why you couldn’t just come to that..?”
theo’s soft face hardened slightly, a gut wrenching frown painting his pink lips. “yeah…i don’t know about that. liam still wants me dead. scott and stiles hate me- not to mention malia and lydia probably would be happy to kick me in the balls.”
i thought over the words, imagining each scenario play out. he was right. “yeah…” i trailed off, “yeah, i don’t think that would happen. i just-“
i struggled to find my words, gaze distant, hope shattered. “i don’t know-“
“i know,” theo touched my cheek, fingers cold from the can of coke now in his other hand. “i know.”
“i’m tired of hiding, theo,” my voice came out quiet and timid, expressive to how i was truly feeling. it was exhausting, constantly sneaking around, always being on the lookout for scott.
“i know, baby,” he squatted down to my level, holding my face with both hands, now. his thumbs brushed over the apples of my cheeks, eyes catching my distant ones. “listen…i know it’s hard, but…they just don’t understand it, okay? they wouldn’t get it. you- you put your faith in me when i didn’t deserve it. if it wasn’t for you, if it wasn’t for your hope, i don’t think i would be the man i am today. you saw a lost, broken boy and you helped me get back on my feet. you helped me make up for every wrong i’ve done. i…”
he didn’t continue any sentence. he just pressed his lips together. my heart fluttered at the anticipation of what it could’ve been he wanted to say.
“i just wish…” i gathered some thoughts, “i wish they’d give you a chance.”
“one day,” theo kissed me shortly, “i think…one day, it’ll happen.”
we curled up on the tiny couch, fit for his small apartment, and watched a movie. i lay in the crevice of his side, clutching to his body like it would be taken from me. often, i worried that that would happen. scott would catch us, committing no crimes, and juror theo to a fate worse than death. it seemed so silly- scott was the sworn protector of this town. he always ensured everyone’s happiness, health, prosperity. yet, when it came to me, those guarantees fell short. he’d rather i be holed up in my room, or holed up at school, my nose in a book, than i live, than i date or work or go out with friends.
it made everything so complicated. it made my life complicated- i had rules to follow, i had curfews, i had to answer the phone every time he called or the entire world would fall apart. i understood my brother just wanted me to be safe, to stay alive- but he was ruining my life while trying to save it.
i looked up towards theo, worry swimming through my eyes. he turned his head at my own shuffling and smiled, though it faded at the sight of my worried face.
“hey, hey,” he shifted his body towards mine, “baby…it’s okay. hey…everything’s gonna be okay, yeah? i won’t let anything ruin this, okay?”
“i’m just worried he’s gonna take you away from me…”
“i know,” theo brushed the hair from my face, “i know, but i won’t let him. i…”
that unfinished thought again.
i set my hands upon theo’s shoulder, worry being coaxed down by the affection i felt for him. “i love you,” i admitted.
theo’s face softened, the gold flecks in his eyes on fire from my confession. he pulled my face closer towards his, rushing out a response before crashing our lips together.
“i love you.”
and i remember thinking: are we out of the woods yet? are we in the clear yet good?
“i saw theo today.”
i looked up from my plate, eyes widened in curiosity. i flicked my gaze between lydia, scott, stiles, malia, and liam. everyone paused from eating their food. they focused on lydia’s words.
scott straightened his stooped neck. his thick brows were furrowed with inquiry, “really? where?”
“the store,” lydia spoke pointedly. “he was buying a dozen roses from the supermarket.”
“well, at least we know he’s a cheap date,” stiles was quick to nip.
i felt my face grow warm, both from worry and frustration. i shoveled some noodles into my mouth.
malia poked at her straw, “what’s he doing here? i thought he left?”
“i think we all did,” scott sighed. he wiped a napkin across his face. “did he have any other groceries?”
lydia rolled her eyes towards the ceiling, as if to recite the items she saw in his cart. “eggs, milk, icing, chicken nuggets, a loaf of bread, and, i think, penne noodles. could’ve been elbow macaroni, though. couldn’t really tell.”
a smile creeped onto my face as i pieced together the groceries. i was supposed to see theo tonight, though i’d told mom and scott i was going to gina’s for a sleepover. i guess i had a birthday cake and flowers to look forward to.
everyone thought for a moment. then, stiles cracked another lame joke, “hey, maybe he’s going to make up for nearly killing y/n by baking her a cake!”
i choked on my water. scott reached a concerned hand over to pat my back. i pressed a napkin to my face and coughed erratically. “you okay?” scott brushed hair form my cheek.
i nodded wildly, “yep- yeah. yep! great. good. sorry.”
scott patted my back again before returning to the conversation. “for his sake, i hope he isn’t planning on doing that. i hope he isn’t planning on contacting any of us. if he does, you all need to tell me- immediately, okay? stiles, let your dad know he’s lingering around. y/n-“
i sniffled from my coughing fit. “yeah?”
scott’s face was lined with a deepened worry, brown eyes swimming with concern for me. “i don’t think i want you going to gina’s tonight. or anywhere but school for the time being. not until we know what theo’s doing here.”
my brows furrowed tightly, “what? no! what- why- how is that fair? no- scott. i can’t-“
“mom will agree,” scott cut me off. “i’m not risking anything.”
“but…” i went to continue to argue my case, but scott continued rattling off instructional orders to the rest of the group.
and, so, my birthday dinner turned into driving to the sheriff’s station with the entire pack. sitting in stilinki’s office until we figured out where theo was living. we drove to the street and patrolled his apartment until 1am. then, stiles dropped scott and i off at home.
nobody even sang me happy birthday.
looking at it now, last december, we were built to fall apart. then fall back together.
“it’s not much, but it’s better than nothing.”
“theo,” i grinned as i took a box from him. a big red bow adorned the glittery wrapping paper. it wasn’t heavy, and the size of the box was quite small. but my heart lit on fire from the lovely gesture. “you really shouldn’t have.”
“no, i wanted to,” he waved me off. “you deserve…so much. the world.”
i met his eyes and recognized that familiar, glistening adoration i’d gotten so used to. “i just…feel bad. you don’t have much money, and-“
“it doesn’t matter,” theo pressed a hand to my knee.
we were criss-cross on the couch, sparse christmas decorations scattered through his tiny apartment. i’d insisted on lining tinsel across the door, lights around the tv console, putting the fake tree in the already crowded corner. i hadn’t been able to come over much and wanted theo to be able to feel some semblance of joyous occasion when i wasn’t there. this was the first time we’d seen each other since thanksgiving.
i only managed to escape the house because i convinced scott that gina and i had to spend christmas together.
“open it!” theo squeezed my knee again.
i giggled at his excited stature and quickly unraveled the bow. inside, amidst the folds of a velvet box, was a necklace with the letter t hanging off of a gold chain. i grinned at the sight, “oh, my gosh! here- put it on me!”
i held my hair from my shoulders as theo clipped the necklace at the nape of my spine. his cold fingers ghosted across my skin until his palms were around my shoulders. he tugged my back into his chest, laying us down upon the couch.
your necklace hanging from my neck, the night we couldn't quite forget when we decided to move the furniture so we could dance.
silence enveloped our presence, a comforting feeling of peace that we rarely had. “i love you, theo,” i let myself whisper. i tried to say it more often than not, worried that one day i wouldn’t be able to remind him of it.
“we should tell scott.”
i pulled myself up, out of theo’s hold, turning to face him on the couch. i was bewildered. my face surely showed it, “what?”
theo ran a hand through his hair, “i think we should tell scott, y/n.”
i shook my head slightly, “no, no. no- we can’t do that. theo- no.”
his tone became increasingly critical, disagreeing with my own disapproval. “why not? im tired of hiding-“
“he’ll kill you, theo,” i rushed out. my breathing was anticipatory in it’s quick speed. “scott will kill you, theo.”
“i don’t know. he’s…merciful. i think if we tell him, we can-“
“theo, no!” i jumped from the couch. “please, just stop. i don’t want to fight about this with you. it’s not happening. end of stor-“
“why does that get to just be your decision? why don’t i get to have a say in this relationship? it’s all up to you!” theo followed me from our seats. he spoke wildly, his hands moving with his words.
i crossed my arms, “i risk everything every single day that i text you. i put myself on the line just to see you. i’m lying to my brother, my best friend- my mom! theo- i thought you understood-“
“i’m just tired of being your little secret. i want to be able to- to see you. i want to come to your birthday dinners and spend christmas morning with you. i want to be in your life. i feel like i’m just on the sidelines!”
“maybe you shouldn’t have tried to kill all of us!”
the words blurted from my lips before i could stop them. the stale silence that followed my heartless thoughts was bitter and cold. theo turned his shoulder from me, dropping his head into his hands.
“oh, my god,” i stepped forward, bracing my hands for impact. “i’m so sorry. theo- i-“
“i thought you’d forgiven me,” he murmured into his palm. “you told me you forgave me for that.”
“i did- i did, i just- i’m sorry! i don’t know why i said tha-“
“maybe scott’s right,” theo met my eyes finally, tears blurring his green ones.
“what-?”
“maybe i never will change. maybe i’m just a bad guy. maybe it’s not a good idea for you to be around me.”
“no, theo, no-“ he kept interrupting me.
“you should leave.”
i couldn’t find the words to stay, but i needed to.
i stepped forward, again, touching theo’s shoulder. he whipped his head back to face me, beautiful eyes darkened by the yellow hue, fangs protruding from his teeth, claws digging into his palms that were beginning to bleed.
“get out!” he roared.
i flinched, throwing myself back a few feet. my hands were shaking. i quickly gathered my things, never turning my back from the monstrous boy standing before me. his chest heaved with anger. he glared.
for the first time in a long time, i was scared of theo.
so, i ran.
baby, like we stood a chance; two paper airplanes flying. and i remember thinking…
“are you awake?”
scott knocked upon my bedroom door.
i rolled over in my bed, away from the sound of his voice, away from his incessant worry.
i knew he could hear my heartbeat. i knew he could smell my pheromones.
i ignored him. he had his answers. i wanted to be left alone.
scott sighed. “please talk to me.”
i didn’t want to.
“well,” he tried to sound cheery, but it failed, “i’ll be out here when you’re ready.”
weeks had passed.
silence had followed.
scott was always wondering why i didn’t go to study group with gina. mom worried why i didn’t want to eat my favorite dinner on thursday nights. stiles was confused when i would voluntarily tag along on patrols with him and scott. when we’d pass theo’s house, i’d press my headphones into my ears and drown the two teenage boys out.
lydia drug me to the mall the following week. scott had told everyone he was worried i was depressed. but he didn’t know why.
i knew why.
i didn’t text theo. and he didn’t try to reach me.
i let the necklace pool in my makeup drawer. my fingers ghosted over it every morning, and i’d flinch as though it burned me. it just made me brain flicker with unwanted memories.
i had nightmares about him.
he’d come into my room and tear me apart.
he’d kill scott right in front of me.
he’d rip my mom’s throat out during dinner.
i dreamed of him, too.
of his arms, the contradictory peace i felt from his fingers. i knew, deep down inside, that his threatening demeanor wasn’t real. it was a projection of his innermost insecurities, his frustration because he could only ever have parts of me.
but i was still terrified. it took me back to a time in my life when theo really was the villain. back to the night when the dread doctors nearly killed me. it reminded me of things i’d worked hard to get over.
it felt like last year, only this time, my heart was broken, too.
i don’t know why i thought it would work. bad people never changed. they’d maybe give you a hurricane eye, false hope that things would be clearing up, the storm would pass. and, then, their true, dark colors would appear like the rain. thundering down on you.
i thought back to months ago, when i first let him in. i’d run into him at the grocery store, like lydia. he was buying tuna fish and a potted plant. he had a certain soil type in his cart. i didn’t recognize him at first, mostly because i’d blocked his face from my memory, and his hair had grown out. he was hiding beneath his hoodie, too.
are we out of the woods yet? are we in the clear yet? good.
“that soils gonna kill that plant.”
i peered over at the stranger’s cart, my own basket swinging from my arm.
“oh!” he looked up from the cereal box in his hands, surprised by my voice.
his brows furrowed, friendly smile faltering slightly. “oh. uh…” he wasn’t quite sure what to say.
i chuckled shortly, “sorry to startle you? i just…don’t want to watch this poor guy be carted off to his death.”
theo looked at the plant as i pointed to it. he set the cereal down in his car, shook his head once, and met my eyes again, “oh. that’s okay. um…would you mind telling me what soil i need?”
“yeah, of course. cmon.”
i marched us off to the plant aisle. as we walked across the entire supermarket, i told him all about my plant collection at home. i shared personal details of my life, remarked as he brought up his own stories.
then, i found the small bag easily, and dumped it into his cart, shoveling the other one back onto the shelf.
he thanked me with this sweet grin. “wow, uh, thank you, so much. any other tips?”
his smile twisted into a smirk, something friendly, nothing too extreme. but, it’s what clicked my memories together. i recognized him then.
i frowned and took a slow step back, “um. sorry…”
i quickly turned on my heel and raced away from the aisle. theo was hot on my heels. he chased me with his cart, stumbling over apologies that i was sure didn’t mean anything. “wait- no! y/n! i’m sorry! please! please let me-! i’m so sorry!”
i tried to pull my phone from my pocket to call scott, but it clattered to the floor. i skidded to a stop, dropping to my knees to grab it. the basket in my arm tipped and everything sprawled across the floor.
i reached for my phone and cursed at the mess. his hand came down over mine. he shot his grip back, apologizing. “i didn’t mea-“
“leave me alone.”
i don’t know how he convinced me to go to dinner with him.
remember when you hit the brakes too soon? 20 stitches in the hospital room. when you started crying, baby, i did, too. but, when the sun came up i was looking at you.
“i think we should talk.”
i glanced over at lydia, thumbs pressing into my thighs anxiously. i sucked in a breath, cold air drowning in my lungs. the wipers rubbed over the window wildly, rain pouring down outside. the radio played softly.
i watched a raindrop race down the window, then glanced over at lydia. “about what?”
she met my eye for a second. she looked like she knew something i didn’t want her to. i gulped.
“you know i…” she trailed off. she licked her teeth in an attempt to find her words, carefully. “i can see things, y/n.”
i sucked in another breath. i couldn’t get enough. i should’ve known this would happen. lydia didn’t just get premonitions of death. if she was connected to somebody enough, like me, she could see flashes of secrets.
“yeah…” i whispered.
“i don’t…” lydia struggled to speak, “i don’t know what to say, necessarily. i only know bits and pieces. like…christmas. he- he wanted to hurt you. but, then- at the grocery store. he was gonna bake you a cake. wha- please tell me what happened, y/n.”
i explained the situation with a shaky voice, fingers rubbing one another in a ruminating anxiety. lydia just listened intently. i was worried she was going to turn the car around, drive us back home to tell scott. i’d get holed up in my room while the pack went on a man and wolf hunt.
but, when i was finished, lydia just stared off at the road.
“well?” i pressed.
she glanced at me, again, “wow. i don’t…i don’t know what to say. i just…i’ve loved some bad people, y/n. one of them- died. the other moved to london, but…but they did change. i changed them, i’d like to think. they became good people. but, i think that’s because they were good people, in their core. they were just scared…i know you probably know theo better than i do, but…i don’t know. he killed his sister. if he were a real wolf, his eyes would be blue, y/n. he came to this town to kill your brother. to take our pack. and he nearly killed you. so many of our classmates’ lives ended because of theo. i just- he’s…”
as she spoke, images flashed through my mind.
two months ago, theo and i had drove three hours outside of town to go to the movie theater. as we walked inside, we saw a little girl sitting upon the curb. she was leaned over, sobbing into her hands. i didn’t know what to do. i was never really good with kids.
theo dropped my hand, ignoring the end of our conversation. he marched over to her, squatted down to speak to her. i couldn’t quite hear what he said, but she looked up at him with these huge, sad eyes. tears stained her face.
theo stood. he offered her his hand. she took it gladly.
he talked to her, quietly, as they walked inside. i followed closely. we stood with the movie theater attendants while they found the girl’s mom.
later, theo showed me a photo of his sister that he kept tucked within a book in his bedroom. it was the only thing he had left of her. that, and the awful memory of what he’d done to her.
she looked to be the age of that little girl, the one who squeezed theo like an old friend before running off to her mommy. she kissed his cheek. she thanked him.
“every night, i have nightmares about…”
i remember holding him through these terrifying dreams…
“about what i did to her. i regret it- i regret it, y/n. if i could give my life to get her back i- i would do it in a heartbeat. i…i’m so sorry of who i am. of where i’ve been and what i’ve done. i’m sorry. i’m so fucking sorry. i wish..i wish we could start over. i wish i could meet you in another lifetime, one where none of this ever happened.”
i held his face in my hands, gently, “theo…it’s okay. we all…we’ve all done things that we wish we could take back. we can only deal with the consequences, and make the best of it. i love you- i love you so much. i forgive you.”
remember when we couldn’t take the heat? i walked out. i said, ‘i’m setting you free.’ but the monsters turned out to be just trees. when the sun came up- you were looking at me.
“theo is…”
lydia didn’t quite finish her sentence, but my i did with my own sad realizations. “scared. he’s scared. he’s…he’s been fighting his whole life. he was just a…just a boy when the dread doctors found him. they manipulated him and- and, god. i-i was helping him and then…god, i’m so mean. i let your guys’ threats against theo ruin my own beliefs. and i let it ruin us…lydia- i-“
“i’m sorry,” she said. it was sincere. “i didn’t…i didn’t know. i’m so sorry, y/n. don’t blame yourself for how it ended. you…you had every right to say what you did. it was his choice as to how he reacted to it. and he pushed you away.“
“but, but- i could have stayed. i could have helped him. we could have worked it out- i need to go see him. lydia, please- take me home-“
lydia screamed.
my eardrums burst.
blood dripped down my jaw, staining the collar of my jean jacket. the tired squealed against the slick pavement. the car went over the side of the road, flying through an empty field, and crashing down on it’s head. broken glass scraped across my face. the seatbelt nearly choked me as our bodies twisted upside down with the car.
i was awake for a mere moments after the car stilled. the radio continued to play soft, haunting melodies. the rain pattered, splashing my face.
the only thing i could picture was theo’s face.
it was almost as if he was right there before me.
when i woke, i was in a hospital bed. i couldn’t quite open my eyes. my head was pounding and the florescent lighting stung my vision. the cuts in my skin thumped with my heartbeat. the iv in my arm felt thick, heavy, cold fluids running in my veins.
above the annoying beeping of the machines attached to my body were two voices. angry voices. arguing voices.
theo and scott.
“no, i don’t think you understand, theo! get out! i don’t want you anywhere near my sister! you- i don’t trust you! this probably happened because of you!”
my eyes shot open.
theo stepped back as scott yelled in his face. his tone was more calm than my brother’s, hands raised defensively, yet in a surrendering offer with his palms facing the ceiling. “scott, please, just-“
“no! get out! leave! before i make you!” scott’s hands were shaking with anger. he seethed, chest rising up and down wildly.
i tried to move, but my body paralyzed. words wouldn’t come, either, because a breathing mask was over my mouth.
“scott-!” theo tried, once more.
scott growled, eyes turning red, ears pointing up towards the moon in the window. he was completely transformed. i knew how dangerous that was. i knew how angry he was.
my eyes shot towards the doorway as mom quickly entered. she stopped before scott, placing her hands on his shoulders gently, “scott…honey, cmon, you’ve gotta breathe, okay? i’ve got a hospital full of patients and the last thing i need is to have the night janitor clean up after two werewolves.”
“then tell him to leave!” scott pointed a claw at theo.
mom looked towards the boy, brows furrowing in anger. she composed herself better. “theo…” mom spoke warily, “you need to leave. now.”
“no, you don’t understand! i didn’t do this! i-i brought her here! if i wanted to kill her, why would i bring her here!”
“to save your ass!” scott roared.
i examined theo’s face as it tilted towards the light. tears shone on his cheeks. mom pushed scott back an inch, “no, scott! hey, honey, cmon! he’s- he’s telling the truth. he brought her here- he didn’t try to kill her, scott!”
“then what did?”
“a deer,” mom spoke blankly. she pursed her lips. the confession was awkward, humanized compared to what we were all used to.
scott straightened his posture, transforming back into a human. his breathing evened out. “oh. i’m….”
theo sighed, ran a hand over his face. “look…i know you hate me. and you have every right to. but…i just…i’m not leaving. i’m staying.”
he took a step towards my bed. scott moved in front of him, blocking me. “stay away from her.”
“scott,” mom examined theo’s face as he met my eyes. he breathed out a sigh of relief and quickly grabbed my hand.
theo dropped to the chair beside my bed, clutching my fingers in his. he pressed his forehead to my touch, mumbling gratitude beneath his breath.
“i thought i lost you,” theo whispered.
mom and scott watched. mom crossed her arms over her chest, a wondrously pleased expression in her eyes. she glanced at scott. he gasped at our interaction.
i blinked away a tear. theo kissed the back of my hand. “i really thought i lost you. god- i’m…i’m never letting you leave me again. i’m sorry. i’m so fucking sorry for scaring you. i promise, i promise it’ll never happen again. i’m never gonna let go of you, i’m never gonna push you away again, okay? i love you.”
i nodded gently, unable to do much else. my fingers wriggled in his hands. he squeezed mine.
scott stepped forward, “theo…”
theo met scott’s eyes. he huffed, “please. please just five minutes. i’ll leave if you want me to, but…please, scott just give me five minutes, okay? you can chase me out of beacon hills, to the ends of the earth, but please let me have five minutes with my girl.”
scott went to say something else, but mom grabbed his bicep. “five minutes.”
she began leading then to the hall, scott following begrudgingly. she looked over her shoulder to tell theo, “five minutes and then we have a lot to talk about, okay? starting with you’re gonna start going to therapy and i have a 24 pack of condoms in my office.”
my face turned beat red.
theo laughed, a relieved, gentle sound i had missed for far too long. he met my eyes again.
“i love you.”
you were looking at me. i remember. are we out of the woods yet? are we in the clear yet? good.

Hi! It's me again, I was wondering if I could ask a Derek hale x sister! Reader where since the hale fire the reader stop talking to anyone but only her siblings (like laura, Derek and cora) and one day the pack come in to derek's loft and saw reader whispering to Derek a d they ate shocked because even at school she never speak but as soon as she saw them she stop speaking/whispering to him. So the pack always try to make her speak by speaking to her or asking her things but reader either sigh or growl but never speak to them even though they're her pack because she's afraid that they'll die once she will start being friendly with tem, sos some people of the pack start getting frustrated and stiles or someone else make a comment about her being mut or thinking that she was mute and Derek her big brother stand up for her. Please and sorry it's so so long.
Derek defending Reader b/c of their Quietness
UGH YES LOVE THIS🦅🦅🦅 it’s not long bro, don’t even worry about it, I love writing for teen wolf teehee
Idk if I did you justice but I hope you enjoy this!!
Tumblr media
Derek is SUPER protective of you, like it’s not even funny😭
Since you’re with your older brother most of the time, the pack has gotten used to your presence and silence, yet were always so curious to know more about you!
But whenever they’ve come across you, whether it be at school, walking down a street, or even when fighting, you never say a peep to any of them
They obviously know that you somewhat care for them with all the times you’ve saved their asses from trouble, but you’re just so quiet that it’s hard to form a connection with you
I don’t think they’ve actually heard your voice besides from the occasion sigh or chuckle you would let out whenever someone said something funny
At one point they all just assumed you were mute until they one day unexpectedly dropped by Derek’s studio when they hear faint talking from outside his door
Of course they hear Derek’s deep voice, but they also hear a new voice as well
This once is much softer, yet filled with life as they heard the joyful laughing of this unknown person
Stiles being Stiles, homeboy just barges in to see who this new person only to see the surprised faces of you and your brother
“You can talk?!” Is definitely the first thing this dude would say
Your mouth is glued shut at the question and before the group can begin interrogating you, Derek steps in to separate you all
Since then, the group (mostly stiles tho) would try and make you talk
Whether it be about the most random things, they are always in some way waiting for your response
I think Allison would be the one in the pack to understand your hesitance of forming a connection with them because of your terrible pst
She understands your boundaries and only converses with you when it’s only the two of you
Allison doesn’t let her surprise how on her face you you laugh at a joke she offhandedly said to make you feel comfortable
She’s the only one you would actually talk to in private, allowing her to take a place in your heart with how many times she’s saved you, and made you laugh
Scott doesn’t want to make you uncomfortable by any means, but sometimes the silence between you both makes him feel awkward
He definitely bugs Derek about it though. Because of how much he asks about it, Derek does fold at one point and reveals why you never speak around them
Scott sees you in a different light at the knowledge of you scared of forming relationships with them, but he doesn’t treat you any differently
He’s learned to embrace the silence and calmness you bring, throwing smiles towards you every now and then when you guys make eye contact
Lydia and Stiles are more of the pushy types, always bothering you about why you don’t talk
Lydia learns to just let I go though after the first few times she tries talking to you
She doesn’t wanna waste her breath when you won’t even respond to a yes or no question😭 you usually communicate with her with your eyes or by nodding your head
Stiles on the other hand won’t let go of it
He’s always asking you questions, waiting for a response before babbling about something else
There are times that he asks sensitive questions which he knows is wrong and insensitive of him but he just wants to hear you speak again
I think we all know how stiles is, pushing someone’s else’s limits until they actually do so emerging to him to him shut up💀
I think Scott might reveal a little about you to Stiles because of how annoying he’s gotten about the subject
Stiles actually gets fed up one random day tho after the group almost gets killed because of your reluctance to communicate with them, making an off handed, and lowkey insulting, comment towards you
“What, are you finally gonna speak at our funerals when one of us dies? There won’t really be a point in doing so though.”
Might not seem like much, but for you, your heart breaks at that
He will admit it’s not his proudest moment
The second the comment leaves his mouth tho, Derek is slamming the younger boy against a way and giving him the death stare
Everyone gasps at the sound of Stiles hitting the wall
Scott tries to make Derek let go, but Stiles was talking shit to his younger sibling and he’s not gonna take that
You quickly walk over though, resting a hand on his arm
Everyone is supposed, even Derek, when you speak
“It’s ok Derek, let him go.”
After a moment of hesitation, Derek lets Stiles go, not before threatening to rip his head off if her ever speaks to you like that
Once he’s backed off, you look to Stiles, eyes filled with hurt and anger
“Are you happy now Stiles?”
And boom, you angrily walk away leaving everyone tense, Allison chasing after you
I think this’ll have a more emotional affect on you because this dude basically forced you to kinda relive a trauma you’ve grown to have
He destroyed the coping mechanism you had, which was keeping to yourself in silence
But maybe this was the push you needed. Maybe you needed someone to break you out of this shell you were in.
It was a difficult and scary process for you, but with the support of Derek and Allison, you slowly began speaking more
Starting with small comments, everyone gave you time and space to go at your own pace when talking with you
I think you would have a stutter because of your limited amount of contact you’ve had with other people throughout the years
So the pack patiently as you get out the words and sentences you stumble on occasionally
They don’t make fun of it, but instead encourage you to continue, especially if you get frustrated when you can’t get out a specific word
They are also there to remind you that they’re always going to be there for you, and that they won’t ever leave you💔
You appreciate so much because that’s been your number one fear ever since the fire that happened all those years ago
While at first things were still awkward with you and Stiles, he apologized the second you guys were alone
He’s super sincere and remorse full of the way he treated you. You accept his apology, but not without giving him the classic Hale threat if he ever does it again🤭
Derek is still super protective of you and always reminds you to not push yourself
You honestly love and appreciate him for that, and often remind him how much you appreciate him
Cora, if she’s visiting, would be surprised to hear you talking freely now. While she gives Stiles the stink eye at hearing how it all happened, she’s lowkey happy that you’ve finally broken from your chains of doubt

Hello! Is it possible to request with Lydia Martin? The pack was walking together in the forest, the reader has been dating Lydia for a long time. So, the Reader felt something would be wrong, and for good reason. Because the next moment, a tree falls on Lydia (or you can come up with a situation yourself). The reader pushed Lydia aside, but she did not have time to jump away and was crushed. Waking up, the Reader sees Lydia sitting next to him and watching. Since werewolves recover quickly, I think Lydia decided to thank the Reader. Thanks!
Always

Lydia Martin x GN!Reader
Summary: You will always protect Lydia, even if it puts you in danger in the process.
Warnings: Reader gets crushed with a tree, the L-word, like one innuendo, angsty-ish, fluffy otherwise.
Word Count: 1k

---
In hindsight, it probably wasn’t the best idea to take a walk in the forest while there was still a pack of Alphas coming after you and your friends.
When your best friend, Stiles, suggested you and your girlfriend join the rest of the group on a stroll, you immediately took him up on his offer. You were getting tired of having to be cautious about everything you do, and you needed fresh air.
Your girlfriend, Lydia, was a little nervous, but you promised that everything would be fine. If only you knew.
---
Walking through the forest you close your eyes and breathe in the clean, fresh air. Next to you, Scott and Isaac are wrestling with each other while trying to walk.
Laughing at their antics, you move towards them to join in. You notice Derek grumbling, muttering under his breath, “Children.” Suddenly, you hear a loud roar that makes you shift along with the other werewolves in the group.
Looking up at the outlook your group was approaching, you see the Alphas you had been trying to avoid. Deucalion’s pack. One of the twins glares at you, jealousy radiating off of him at the sight of the arm you have around Lydia.
“Thank you for coming to such a secluded spot. Easier to kill you all without any pesky witnesses.” Deucalion states. You glare up at him before turning to look at the non-werewolves behind you.
“Lydia, Allison, Stiles, I need you guys to get as far away from here as you can. We’ll hold them off for as long as possible.” Allison and Stiles nod and start to slowly back up. Lydia hesitates before grabbing your arm, making you turn back. She pulls you into a quick kiss.
You hear a loud growl, making you turn around. Seeing the twins combine makes your eyes widen in fear. Quickly, you push Lydia towards her best friend so she can get away safely.
As soon as he sees an opening, Isaac jumps at Kali. The two of them start fighting, prompting Scott to dive for Ennis. You call out to say, “I’ve got the twins!” Derek goes for Deucalion.
Suddenly, the twins dive over your head, and start running at Lydia, Allison, and Stiles. You quickly get up and run after them, hoping to at least drag them back to give your friends and girlfriend a better chance to get away.
Just as you are about to grab the twin-wolf, it veers away, heading towards a very dead tree that looks like it will fall any day now.
A little too late, you realize what they are about to do. You put your head down and push yourself to run faster. You just barely make it to the terrified group in time. Stiles and Allison make it far enough away to be okay, but Lydia is frozen in place right in the location the tree will hit.
Jumping forward, you hear a loud crack. Just as you shove your girlfriend out of the way, the massive tree comes down onto you.
It doesn’t hurt at first, and you realize you're pinned under the tree. Suddenly, the pain hits you all at once. Black dots swim in your vision, and you hear your girlfriend calling your name. She rushes to you quickly, and you realize you can barely hear her.
You vaguely gather that the Alpha pack is retreating because of the damage Isaac inflicted on Kali, and that Scott and Isaac both help to lift the tree off of you before rushing you to the hospital and to Melissa McCall. You quickly lose consciousness in Stiles’s Jeep.
---
When you regain consciousness, you try to sit up, only to get pushed back down by your very concerned and angry girlfriend.
You try to get on her good side by starting with, “Heyyyy, sweetheart-” but she shuts you down immediately.
“Don’t you dare ‘hey sweetheart me. You almost died! If you weren’t a fucking werewolf, you would be dead! You can’t fucking do that to me. I can’t lose you!” You notice she has started crying, so you pull her down into your arms.
“I know, I know. I’m sorry, Lyd. I just couldn’t let you get hurt. Also, I’m okay! I heal really fast. Yes, I do feel like I have the worst hangover ever, but I guess that's what happens when Alpha twins drop a tree on you.”
Lydia tearfully laughs at that. You both snap your heads up when you hear Melissa start talking. “I don’t even want to know how you know what a hangover feels like. Anyway, because you're a werewolf, almost everything is healed by now. You do need to keep those wraps on for a few days so your ribs can heal correctly.”
You nod in agreement before asking, “Does this mean I can go home today?” Melissa nods, exasperated. “You guys need to stop looking for danger. I can’t keep releasing kids with serious injuries within hours of them checking in. I’m going to lose my job.”
You laugh before getting up with help from your girlfriend. “C’mon, we’re going to my place. We can have some fun.” Lydia winks at you before walking off, swinging her hips.
You excitedly rush after her, pulling her towards her car.
---
“This is not what I thought you meant when you said ‘some fun’.” You state. You had sat down on your girlfriend’s bed, prepared for a lengthy makeout session, maybe even more, but instead your girlfriend had grabbed her computer and put on ‘The Notebook’.
Lydia just smiles at you before carefully curling into your side. You quickly relax, before muttering, “This is nice too.”
You look down at Lydia, who is already looking at you. “What? Do I have something on my face?” She just smiles at you softly before saying quietly, “No. I just… Thank you for protecting me. I didn’t say it before, and I wanted to now. And… I love you.”
You grin at her. “You love me?” She flicks you, blushing, before saying, “Yes, you doofus. I love you.”
You feel your heart fill with affection for the smaller girl. “I love you too. I love you so much, Lydia Martin.”

Lydia x Sister!reader - what’re family for
Tumblr media
Would I be able to request an imagine from teen wolf where reader is Lydia’s younger sibling, and because of her Lydia’s status vs readers, Lydia’s friends bully reader, and Lydia sticks up for reader, ditching her friends to hang out with her sibling instead? - Anon💜
Sitting on the bench, you were reading the book in your hand, you flicked your eyes up when you heard snickered and watched as Jackson walked over to you.
“Come on, you’re not really reading again are you?”
“Bite me Jackson.” You snapped.
“Oo someone’s snappy, what’s this?”
He took the book from your hands and backed away into his group of friends as he read the title aloud.
Scoffing, he tossed the book into a nearby trash can.
“Jackson!” You yelled.
“Don’t be such a nerd (Y/N), honestly live a little.” Someone laughed.
“Jackson!”
You all turned around to see your older sister coming around the corner, a scowl on her face as she turned around and slapped her boyfriend and you smiled a little.
“Seriously?!” She yelled.
“Oh come on, the little geek doesn’t mind, do you?” He snarled at you.
You went to reply but you were cut off by Lydia holding her hand up and you closed your mouth again.
“I don’t care! That’s my sister! Seriously what the hell is wrong with you all?!”
She stormed over to you, grabbing your arm she dragged you away from the ground and you stumbled after her, trying to match her pace.
Once she was sure you were far enough away she slowed down and let go of your arm and taking your hand in hers.
“I’m sorry.” She said softly.
“Not your fault…” you shrugged a little.
Lydia sighed and shook her head.
“Still they’re my friends, I don’t get why they pick on you so much.”
You shrugged a little and sat on the curb.
Lydia looked at you before walking around and standing in front of you instead of risking getting her dress all dirty.
“What did they do?” She asked.
“Ly it doesn’t matter honestly.”
“(Y/N).” She warned.
Looking up at your sister, she had her arms crossed as she looked at you, waiting for you to answer her question and you sighed.
“Threw my book in the trash.”
Lydia rummaged through her bag before pulling her keys out, dangling them in the air as she held out a hand towards you.
“Let’s go.”
“What? Where?”
“To get you a new one of course! And lunch, I know this real cute cafe you’ll just love!”
“What about school?”
Lydia laughed a little, taking your hand in hers she pulled you up and grabbed your bag, holding it out to you.
Taking it, you followed behind her as you guys made your way through the parking lot towards her car.
“Please, one day won’t affect us. You’re at the top of your class remember.” She sang.
You laughed a little and nodded sheepishly as you climbed into the car.
“Can we get some other stuff while we’re out?” You asked.
Lydia smiled softly at you as she nodded her head.
“Of course, whatever you want!”
You beamed happily and started to ramble on about all the stores you wanted to go to and a few things you wanted to buy and Lydia smiled.
You guys were two totally different people, but she loved you with her whole heart.
She would deal with Jackson and the rest of that group later on, right now she was going to do anything she could to make you forget about what they were doing to you.
Just like every time they started on you she was always going to take your side because you were her family. You were always standing behind her, evening with all the weird stuff going on right now, you never doubted her for a single second.
That’s what it meant to be family, to always be there for one another no matter what

Thank You, For Being You
Isaac Lahey x Fem! Reader Series
Party Guessed
Omega Part 1 | Omega Part 2 | Shape Shifted | Ice Pick | Abomination | Venomous | Frenemy | Restraint | Raving | Fury
Prompt: Scott is hurt, Jackson isn't easy to stop, Lydia's birthday is coming up. And to top it all off, the full moon is tonight.
a/n: I read through this once and edited it so I hope I got all the mistakes
*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧
It took a while but Isaac had finally calmed you down, Erica had left and even though Stiles wanted to stay because he was worried about you, Isaac had convinced him that he would take care of you.
"Are you sure?"
By now you had yourself tucked into Isaac as Stiles talked to you. You nodded wiping your tears away, "Yeah, Stiles, I'm fine. You should go home and rest. I need to find Scott and then I will too." He hesitated again before slowly nodding, you didn't see it but Isaac and Stiles had shared a knowing glance like some kind of exchange that just said 'make sure she's safe'.
Stiles had finally left and it was just you two. You guys sat in silence and he just caressed your hair. Even though no words were being exchanged between you, it wasn't awkward. It was comfortable. Even with all the dried tears on your face and the sniffles, it felt right to be there with him.
"How you doing, baby?"
You were startled by the nickname, you had heard him call you that while you were whaling but you hadn't thought he would keep calling you that. "What happened to 'your favorite girl'?" Your voice was so hoarse and it hurt to talk but you couldn't help but joke.
He chuckled at your question, "You can still be my favorite girl and be called baby."
You giggled, "I know, just teasing."
He smiled softly at you, you were still in his arms curled together on the floor. His hand was on your cheek, his thumb brushing your cheekbone, "Nice to see you back to yourself, if you're ready we can walk to the station, Derek will probably take Scott there after." You tilted your head up, nodding lightly, "Yeah, I'm ready."
Sure enough when Isaac and you reached the Hale pack hide out both Derek and Scott were there.
"Scott! Are you okay?" You crashed into the boy's back, who let out a gasp from the impact. He turned around and his eyes widened, "Have you been crying, what's wrong?"
"She was worried about you," Isaac had caught up with you, standing behind you two. "But I'm okay now, you're okay so everything is good," you hugged the boy once more. When you pulled away, you noticed Derek staring off into space, "You guys were having a serious moment, weren't you?" Scott tilted his as if he wanted to say no but in reality it was a yes.
"We can't save Jackson." Your head snapped to Isaac and then back to Scott, "I'm sorry what?"
"We can't seem to kill him either," Derek mumbled. "I've seen a lot of things Scott. I've never seen anything like this. Every full moon is just gonna make him stronger."
"Then how do we stop him?"
The Alpha shrugged, "I don't know."
"Maybe you should just let the Argents handle it then," you chimed in sitting on a chair.
"I'm the one who turned him, it's my fault."
"Yeah but you didn't turn him into this," Scott argued, "This happened because of something in his past, right?"
"That's a legend in a book. It's not that simple." You crossed your arms in annoyance, "What do you mean?"
"What are you not telling us," Scott asked at the same time as you.
"Why do you think I'm always keeping something from you?"
"Because you always ARE keeping something from us!" The both of your voices had resonated, it had even startled Isaac. "Well, maybe I do it to protect you."
"Doesn't being part of your pack mean no more secrets," Scott asked quietly.
"Go home, Scott. Take (Y/N) too. Sleep. Heal. Make sure your friends are safe. Cause the full moon is coming and with the way things are going, I got a feeling it's gonna be a rough one."
~
It was officially spring break and that meant Lydia's birthday was almost here. Much to your surprise, there was a box on your porch from the red haired girl. She had sent you a dress to wear to her party tonight. You thought it was sweet considering you two weren't really friends. You were planning on going to her party so the gesture made some sense, unfortunately, you would have to leave early due to the full moon.
Derek had asked you to find something for the Betas to get through their first full moon, he had mentioned a spell and while you couldn't find anything like that you were able to find a type of potion to deprive them of their senses and calm their minds.
This morning you had decided you should probably pay the newly formed pack a visit, especially since you needed to let Derek know what you found and your plan. Which is why as soon as you got up and got dress you were on your way to the abandoned station.
You walked down just in time to here the pack talking once more, you did always seem to do that. "It's a spiral. Reminds us that we can all rise to one or fall to another. Betas can become Alphas, but Alphas can also fall to Betas or even Omegas," Derek explained.
"Like Scott?" Isaac stood looking at Derek.
"Scott's with us."
"Really? Then where is he now?" Derek looked at the Beta, "He's looking for Jackson. Don't worry, he's not gonna have it easy tonight either. None of us will. There's a price you pay for this kind of power." Derek picked up the chains, which you had recognized to be the same ones you had seen before, "You get the ability to heal. But tonight you're gonna want to kill anything you can find."
You had walked further into the room as Erica joked, "Good thing I had my period last week, then?"
You saw Derek pull out another chain, this one had a large circle and spikes on it, "Well this one's for you." You cleared your throat to let your presence be known and the whole pack turned towards you. Derek had nodded at you, like a peace offering on some kind, "Did you find it?"
You pointed at him, "The spell, no. But I did find this potion type thing that's able to deprive someone of their senses for purposes like this.
Derek looked relieved, "Thank you, do you have it?" You shook your head, "No, it takes a little bit of time to prepare and I just found it the other day. Deaton is helping me though to make sure it's perfect, should be ready tonight."
"Okay, thank you, bring Scott tonight, I might need some help." You hissed slightly, "Oh, yeah that might be a problem."
"What do you mean?"
You sat on a crate nearby as you began to explain, "Well you see, Lydia's birthday is tonight and Allison and Stiles are making us go. So Scott's gonna probably be busy with that and the whole finding Jackson thing." Derek had given you a deadpanned look, unimpressed by your answer. You raised your hands in defense, "Hey, don't look at me like that, they're making me. Lydia's even pressuring me," you leaned forward like you were gossiping to a group of best friends, "She sent me a dress and it was on my front porch this morning. I mean now I have to go, right?"
You scanned the room and almost everybody in the room was amused by your words, except for of course Derek. You sighed, "Don't worry, I'll be here to drop off the potion stuff tonight, I'm not gonna stay there for very long." Derek finally excepting defeat and just nodded walking away.
Erica and Boyd starting to converse from across the room and Isaac made his way to you slowly. You stood quickly, trying to play it off as best as you could. He made you nervous, especially now that you could let your guard down around him.
"You're going to a party?" You nodded slowly, confused since you had just finished talking about it, but when you looked up into his eyes, you saw it.
Jealousy.
"And Stiles and Scott are going too, right?" You nodded once more this time slightly more amused. "Yes, they are even if they weren't going you don't need to worry, I'm not gonna go around dancing with guys." His eyes widened as he realized he had been caught. You grabbed his hands softly pulling him a little closer and whispered, "When you get this whole full moon thing down, there will be nothing stopping you from being my plus one to every party."
Your words had gotten him flustered, you could see it in his eyes and in the way his cheeks glowed a little redder. It was like the old days, with the soft shy Isaac you knew before, "Walk me out?" He nodded his eyes just focused on you like a trance.
~
You had gotten ready for Lydia's party, of course wearing the dress she had given you, and you were at the clinic before you met up with Scott and Stiles.
"So, you added a little bit of rosemary to the water and then what," you asked watching as Deaton crushed the rosemary and threw it in the bowl. "Evening primrose, it's native to America and the oil extracted has been know to be quite anti-inflammatory. When combine with a Nymph's magical energy it was discovered to be able to affect supernatural species however they choose depending on the concoction," he laid whole petals into the water.
He turned and opening a cabinet, pulling out a Bunsen burner and rigging the small bowl above it. He looked at you and pointed to the bowl, "Rosemary is known to heighten concentration and memory, it will allow them to remember their human side more. Normally you would want to let the flowers ferment in the water for a week to allow the water to naturally be flavored."
You looked at him as he turned on the flame, then water instantly starting to steam, "But since we don't have time for that, heating the water will just have to do, it won't be as effective but with Derek and you there I'm sure it'll do the job." He gave you a smile before sliding your book over to you.
"You mean with Derek there, I'm still useless in a fight," you muttered, you felt a hand on your shoulder and you saw Deaton open the book. "Not anymore, I'm going to help you learn a basic offensive spell that uses a similar technique to your barriers. Since you've become more familiar with that and your natural talent, it should pretty easy for you to catch on." Your hand gripped the table, finally, you wouldn't be useless. You could actually hold your own, protect your friends.
"Okay, what do I do?"
He guided you away from the table and into the open space, he stood next to you. "For the most basic offensive technique you keep your hands here," he showed you, his elbows bent and his palms facing out, "You then will push out like your pushing someone away from you."
You copied the movement that you were very well acquainted with, considering you were constantly pushing Stiles around. "This doesn't seem that hard," you commented.
"The movement no, the build-up and timing will be."
You gave the man a confused glance, "What do you mean?"
"You essentially have to build up, in simple terms, your magic power to use this. What you're doing is using the amount of power you allow to either push an opponent back or even strike them. If you don't put enough magic pressure into, you could very well die to an enemy."
Your lips pursed, "Ah, there's the catch, it's never gonna be easy is it?" He chuckled, "No, unfortunately for you, your powers are all about balance. It's all tedious strategy and technique. Now try for real, let your power run through your veins and into your palms," he gestured into the open area.
You took a deep breath and closed your eyes, trying to feel every ounce of the power you spent so long keeping down. It felt like a weight had been lifted and you felts tingles in your hands. You took the stance and pushed with as much force... nothing.
You tried again.
Nothing.
"Why can't I get it," you groaned.
"Relax, you have time. When you build a barrier what do you do?" You huffed at his question, crossing your arms, "Well, I imagine the energy flowing around whatever it is, that seems to work best." He nodded and pointing, "You see, just as I had said to Stiles, the imagination is a wonderous thing, do that and try again."
Shaking your limbs out to loosen up, you took another breath. A few nervous hops later and you brought yourself into the stance once more. You went through the motions, this time even with your eyes opened, you imagine the same iridescent glow you're used to. You pushed it out and this time...
You felt a blast whish passed you, blowing your hair. Everything on the shelves rumbled and shook, clattering around. "Yes! I did it!"
"And just in time too, the water is ready. All we need is just a spark of your power and it'll be good to go." He had bottled the waters into small vials and raised them up to you. Maybe it was the happiness of everything but without even thinking you raised your hand and instantly the vials shined your usual iridescence. When you realized what you did, your eyes widened, "It seems you're becoming more comfortable with who you are," Deaton smiled, "Now, I believe you have a party to go to."
~
"Hey! Allison! Wait up!"
The dark haired girl turned around to see you running, well trying to at least, to her. You were in heels and while you didn't have problems with walking, anything faster was immediately not as easy. "Damn it! Why did she send me a dress," you complained adjusting the fabric, "Normally I wouldn't say anything but tonight is not the night for me to be wearing something even slightly inconvenient."
She laughed at you giving you her arm, which you gratefully took, "You're still helping Derek tonight?" You nodded patting your little purse which held the vials, "Yep, sadly Derek created a problem that he needs others to help fix." Allison nodded along, "Yeah it feels like this whole semester has been about Derek and his pack."
You scoffed, "Tell me about it. We also never get to hang out anymore either so it makes it that much more impossible to not focus on the Derek problem." Allison smiled at you, you two really hadn't been that close recently. When she first came to Beacon Hills, you had easily befriended her (mainly for Scott you will admit) and even though she had hung out with Lydia and Jackson, it never deterred you from the girl. She was truly your closest girl friend if you were being frank.
"Well I'm glad you're here, I've missed being able to hang out," she said tugging you further up the driveway. You reached Lydia's front door where she had greeted you both with a smile, a smile that made you slightly uneasy. You chalked it up to the fact that you just weren't close with the girl and went back to scanning the room for Jackson, and your best friends.
"I'm gonna do a walk of the house, see if he's wandering about," Allison said pointed in the distance. She started walking off when you nodded, "I'm gonna look for the boys, be careful."
"You too."
She was now gone and you once more let your eyes wander the backyard, this time you had actually seen the two boys you were looking for. They had just made they're way outside when you reached them, "Hey."
They acknowledged you, "Have you seen Allison?" You nodded at Scott, "Yeah, we came in together." Scott went to ask you another question but he was quickly shut down by the clicking of heels, you turned to see Allison walking back up to you, "Uh, Jackson's not here."
"Yeah, no one's here," Stiles observed the backyard and he was right, it was eerily quiet. "Maybe it's just early," Scott suggested.
"Or maybe nobody's coming because Lydia's turned into the town wack job," Stiles expressed. You kissed your teeth and gestured to the boy in agreement, your eyebrows raised. "Well, we have to do something, because we've completely ignored her for the past two weeks," Allison said.
"She's completely ignored Stiles for the past ten years," Scott argued and shrugged. Stiles tried to defend himself, "I prefer to think of it as me not having been on her radar." You rolled your eyes, "Yeah, whatever helps you sleep at night."
Scott made an unconvinced look, "We don't owe her a party."
"What about the chance to get back to normal?" The question shocked Scott, "Normal?"
"She wouldn't be the town wack job if it wasn't for us," Allison countered. You held up your hand, "Now hold on. First, just want to clarify, not against throwing her a party, it's her birthday. But it's not our fault she's gone coocoo for Coco Puffs, alright? That was all on Peter. Peter is the reason any of us are even in this mess to begin with, so she can blame him like the rest of us."
There was a silence after you made your point and you broke it once more, "Now that I've made my point let's throw her a good party," you said offering Allison your support.
"I guess I could use my co-captain status to get the lacrosse team here," Scott had relented. Stiles nodded as well, "Yeah, I also know some people who can get this thing going. Like really going." He dug into his pocket for his phone and Allison tilted her head, "Who?"
"I met them the other night. Let's just say they know how to party."
You chuckled catching on to who he was referring to, "Well then I'm sure this party is going to be in good hands. Chop, chop, people, let's go."
Soon enough Stiles' and Scott's called guests had made it and now the party was much more lively, you were pretty sure you could slip out now without Lydia noticing. You were standing with Stiles and Scott, watching as Allison stood across the pool with Lydia.
"Are you gonna apologize to Allison or what," Stiles asked. Scott's head snapped up to look at the boy, "Why should I apologize?"
"Because you're the guy. It's what we do," Stiles pointed out. You snorted at his answer and it caught both your best friend's attentions, "More like, you've made her feel ignored for the past couple of weeks."
"But I didn't do anything," Scott said cluelessly, you shook your head with a slight roll of your eyes as Stiles continues, "Well then you should definitely apologize. See, anytime a guy thinks he hasn't done anything wrong it means he's definitely done something wrong." You nodded this time, "Now, that, is true."
Scott grumbled, "I'm not apologizing." You nudged the boy slightly, "Is that the full moon talking, buddy." Scott looked at you and agreed, "Probably."
"Why do you guys care, anyway."
"Because, Scott, something's gotta go right here," Stiles emphasized, "I mean, we're getting our asses royally kicked, if you haven't noticed. People are dying. I got my dad fired. You're gonna be held back in school. This one is in love with a nut job," he gestured, "And so am I. If on top of all that, I gotta watch you lose Allison to a stalker like Matt, I'm gonna stab myself in the face."
"Hey, I'm not in love with Isaac," you exclaimed. Stiles scoffed, "Yeah, okay sure, I never said Isaac, Mrs. Denial." You went to argue again but was cut off by Scott standing, "You know what, you won't need to stab yourself in the face because I'm gonna do it for y-."
"Don't stab yourself in the face."
Both you and Stiles paused, looking at the Omega, "Why not?" Scott didn't look at Stiles, "Because Jackson's here." You three looked across the pool and there he was just staring at you guys. You blew out a stream of stressed air, "Alright, that's my cue to leave. You guys got this?" Both nodded wordlessly, keeping their eyes on Jackson.
~
Leaving the party was pretty easy actually, you got out like the Flash and now you had to deal with your anxiety of being in abandoned train car with three crazed out Betas. You had rushed into the car to see Erica and Boyd chained up in the back huffing from rage and Isaac and Derek in the front.
"Okay, so I see I might have been a little late," you said awkwardly.
Derek gave a pointed look, "Yeah, no kidding." Isaac however looked much more relaxed than before, still you could see he was definitely struggling. That's when you heard the two Betas in the back to cry and scream. The noise made you wince as you crouched down next to Derek and in front of Isaac.
"How do you not feel this," Isaac gritted his teeth.
"I feel every second of it," Derek had basically snarled. That didn't stop Isaac from shooting back, "Then how do you control it?"
"Find an anchor. Something meaningful. Bind yourself to it to keep the human side in control," Derek instructed tightening the chains, he jutted his chin out to other set on Isaac's other side and you got the message. You took the other chain and began to tighten it as best as you could.
"What is it for you?"
Derek took a pause before answering the Beta, "Anger. But it doesn't have to be that for everybody."
"You mean Scott?" You nodded slowly and whispered gently, "Scott's is Allison, even just the thought of her is able to calm him down." Derek indicated that you were right, "Alright, that should do it," he declared.
You opened your little shoulder clutch and grabbed the three vials, "Here, if you can get these two to take it now, it should help calm them down." You handed him two bottle and he nodded starting to get up but then he was interrupted by a loud break. Isaac had broken the seat holding his chain, he gave you both a knowing look.
"Go, get out of here," Derek urged you and before you panicked even more you opened the third vial you still had, "Take care of those two, I'll be okay." He didn't even respond as he was already moving to the back. You looked at Isaac who had sweat dripping from his forehead, "You need to go, it's not safe." You shook your head sitting on the chair, "Do you trust me?"
Isaac didn't even hesitate before agreeing, "Okay then I need you to drink this, okay?" He nodded and tilted his head back slightly and you poured it into his mouth, resting your hand in his hair to support his head.
"It might take a moment but it should kick in soon," you didn't get to see his reply because Derek had rushed towards you, grabbing your forearm and dragging you out of the train car. You could hear all their screams as Derek left a voicemail for Scott, "Hey Scott, could you call me back, I think I'm gonna need some help." Cue the violent and guttural growls and screams from Derek's pack.
"I thought you said it would help them?"
"It will but it's gonna take some time for it to kick in, it wasn't that strong since I couldn't properly prepare it."
Derek nodded, "Definitely gonna need some help." He unleashed his claws and walked inside the car. You followed closely and quietly behind, Derek had side stepped to stay out of Isaac's slash. You stayed in front, out of the away but also because your body ran cold, the sight of a blood thirsty Isaac terrified you.
Erica and Boyd had broken free and started advancing towards Derek. You had gotten distracted and hadn't even realized that Isaac also broke free until you heard the crunch of metal and the smash of glass. You lifted your hands up protecting your face from the flying shards, "Isaac!" He had already jumped out and you couldn't afford to take care of him yourself, not when Boyd and Erica were currently slashing at Derek, who was on the ground.
You had a clear shot to hit at least Boyd, maybe if you could get him off Derek, the Alpha would be able to fight off Erica himself. You focused your energy trying to make sure your blast was gonna be power and then when you were ready you pushed it out, watching as the glowing blast knocked Boyd off and made him forget about Derek. Only then did you realize that meant Boyd was now on you.
Derek had done exactly like you had thought and started to fight off Erica. You on the other hand were currently using small blasts to at least keep Boyd back. "Boyd, listen to me, I don't want to hurt you. Please, just calm down!" The Beta didn't listen, he snarled before raising his hand high to bring it down for a big slash. When he made a dash for you, you were prepared to feel something since you had no time to push him back.
But you never did.
Instead you heard another crash and felt someone shove passed you, you opened your eyes to see none other than Isaac holding Boyd down against the seat. He acknowledged Derek with a nod, letting him know he was in control. Things calm down once Derek had also knocked Boyd out and locked him and Erica back against the pole.
Isaac calmly sat in his old seat just staring forward, his eyes glowing. You sat next to the boy while Derek began to rechain him. "I think you'll be okay now," Derek started, "Looks like you found an anchor." You noticed in the corner of your eyes him direct his gaze at you but you paid no mind to it, only keeping your focus on the boy in chains.
"My father."
Your eyes widened. You didn't know what you were expecting as his answer but it certainly wasn't that. You saw the same confusion on Derek's face, "You father locked you in a freezer in the basement to punish you." He had said it as a statement but it sounded more like a question.
"He didn't use to."
Isaac set his hand down in his lap and Derek jangled the chains to confirm its security. "Go, take care of them, I got this," you said softly to the dark haired werewolf. He silently looked at you before walking away. You hesitated for just a moment and then you lightly rest your hand on top of Isaac's. "I'm glad you found an anchor, although I wasn't expecting it to be your dad." His head slowly rotating to you, "It's not."
You eyebrows scrunched and you tilted your head, "But you just said-."
"I lied."
Nodding slowly, you adjusted your position, sitting more comfortably, "Okay... then what's your anchor?"
"You."
"Me," you whispered, "but how-." He cut you off once more, "When I ran out, I heard your heartbeat pick up. You sounded so scared and I came back to myself instantly. I had to come back, to protect you, to make sure you were safe. Nothing else mattered." Your whole body dropped out of awe, you're sure you looked lovestruck by now. How do you not after hearing that?
"If it weren't for the audience back there and outside, I would totally kiss you right now."
The boy chuckled lightly, "Guess I have to wait until morning then."

That was it.
That moment was either kill or be killed.
Realization dawned upon everyone at the same time, the air in the room shifting as everyone understood what needed to be done. Even the Kanima had his own rules to carry out. Whether they wanted to or not, they had to fight Jackson, and someone had to come out of it alive.
Isaac’s grip tightened around (Y/N) as the creature unhanded Allison, its sight set on the other Argent girl. Meanwhile, her father stood between her and the creature in a protective stance. Even without a loaded weapon, he would not let more harm come to his daughter.  It was clear Gerard had given Jackson a quiet command and he couldn’t ignore it.
But once free, Allison reared back and elbowed the Kanima in the face, breaking his gaze before he pushed her to the ground and out of the way. His eyes fell back on (Y/N), a murderous glint in his irises. He was tasked to kill the girl, and he wouldn’t stop until he completed his goal.
Suddenly, Stiles’ powder blue Jeep crashed through the wall, colliding straight with the Kanima. “Did I get him?” he asked, his eyes tightly shut.
His question was answered as Jackson jumped onto the car, scaring him and Lydia out of the vehicle. Stiles ran to Scott while Lydia faced the lizard version of her ex-boyfriend. As scared as she was, she knew what she had to do, obviously aware since before she came upon the creature. She dug into her pocket for a key, her head facing away from the Kanima, too afraid of his form to stare and bracing for his potential strike.
“Jackson,” she muttered as she showed him the key, stopping him dead in his tracks.
The creature’s eyes focused on the item. Suddenly, it was the most important thing on his mind. He no longer felt the uncontrollable need to kill; there was only him and his memories. It wasn’t the key, of course not, but what that little gold thing meant.
Right before everyone’s eyes, the scales started to disappear from Jackson’s body, revealing the boy under the murderous lizard. Lydia had always been the answer to their Kanima problem; they just didn’t know.
The boy stumbled back as his body continued to revert, and in the blink of an eye, Derek sprung from the ground toward him, and Peter appeared from his back, and they both dug their claws into Jackson’s stomach and back, respectively. They raised him off the ground, sinking deeper before setting him back down. Blood pooled in his mouth, and his stance faltered as weakness took over him.
Lydia was quick to help him stand, her teary eyes focused only on him. “Do you…,” he tried to speak. “Do you still…?”
“I do,” she whimpered as she nodded. “I do still love you.”
The redhead kept repeating the words as a mantra as Jackson closed his eyes and his body grew limp. They both fell to the ground as the weight took over the girl, but she never let him go. Instead, she cradled his body close to hers, whispering her goodbyes to the boy who had been her first love.
All their friends could do was stand and stare as they watched her lay him gently on the ground, witnessing the last traces of the Kanima disappear from Jackson’s face. They had gone so far and done so much, only for Derek to get what he wanted in the end.
But they were in Beacon Hills. There, sometimes, the dead didn’t stay dead for long.
As they worried about Gerard’s sudden disappearance and Lydia turned her back to Jackson, the sound of nails scraping the concrete echoed through the room. He raised from the ground and revealed the most unexpected of turns. The bite had taken, and Jackson had finally gotten what he wanted. He was finally a werewolf. And, most of all, he was alive.
“Don’t mean to break this beautiful moment here,” (Y/N) muttered. Lydia and Jackson had shared in an intimate embrace as they celebrated his reanimation and her confessions. “Still sort of bleeding out here.”
“Oh my god, (Y/N),” Allison said as realization dawned upon her. “I-I…”
“You can save your guilt for a later time,” the girl groaned. “Right now, I need to stop the bleeding.”
“Here, munchkin.” Henry ripped two strips from the bottom of his t-shirt, using them as a tourniquet for her leg and shoulder. “That should keep you stable until we get home and get you stitched up.”
“(Y/N), I’m…”
“It’s fine, Allison,” (Y/N) said through gritted teeth. “We can talk later. I just… I need to get out of here.”
“Take my car,” Chris interjected. “I’ll go back home with Allison.”
“Yeah,” she muttered, shame eating away at her mind. “I’ll see you later, I guess.”
(Y/N) started to limp away with the help of her father and Isaac, ignoring the burning gaze of Derek. She could tell he wanted to reach out, to be the one helping her to the van. But he had burned that bridge with a torch and gasoline. If he ever planned on rebuilding it, he’d have to do it from the ground up.
The girl groaned with every step she took, her limbs aching and pulsing. Isaac helped her into the SUV, clicking her seatbelt for her, careful to avoid her injuries. “I can go with you,” he whispered. “Meet you at the house?”
“You should stay with Derek for now,” she said. “My mom’s gonna probably be at the house and Erica and Boyd have to be there already. I’ll send them over as soon as I can—given they actually went there.”
“But…”
“I’ll be okay, Isaac,” she assured with a weak smile. “I’ll see you later today, okay?”
“She’s in good hands, kid,” Henry said as he sat on the driver’s side of the car. “We’ll let you know when you can sneak back into the house.”
“You, uh, you know about that, sir?”
“Not much happens in my house that I don’t know about,” he chuckled. “And I know Brody is not the one eating the food in my kitchen.”
“Oh, uh, um...”
“It’s okay, Isaac,” Henry smiled. “I don’t mind. There’s always space for anyone that needs it at my house. You can stay over any time—except when my wife is at home. She’s not as generous.”
“Uh, thank you, sir,” Isaac mumbled. “I appreciate it.”
“Guys, this is a beautiful moment,” (Y/N) interrupted, “but still bleeding here.”
“Right,” her father chuckled. “We’ll let you know when you can come over.”
The car ride back home was quiet at first. Henry sped through the streets, rushing to get to his house and take care of his daughter. He knew her condition wasn’t worrisome, but it didn’t stop the concern that flooded his mind as (Y/N) grimaced and groaned from the pain. But he knew all she needed was a bit of conversation to distract her mind.
“So, you and Isaac seem close,” Henry teased. “Is he the boy that had you questioning our family’s beliefs?”
“What? No,” she quickly replied. “Isaac and I are just friends, dad.”
“Does he know that?”
“Dad…”
“I’m just saying, kid,” he chuckled. “He seems to really care about you.”
“And I care about him, but we’re just friends,” (Y/N) assured. “It didn’t really work out with the person I was talking about that day. He, uh, wasn’t who I thought he was.”
Henry turned to look at his daughter. She no longer was the little girl who could barely see above the dashboard when in the front seat, or the preteen who would live with headphones on her ears. (Y/N) was closer to adulthood than she was to her younger years, even if he couldn’t think of her as anything other than his baby girl. She was growing, and with that came many challenges they would have to face together.
“Is it Derek?” the man continued to inquire. “Gerard mentioned something about it tonight.”
(Y/N)’s gaze fell to her leg, fiddling with the soaked fabric. “Yeah,” she sighed defeatedly. “I mean, nothing really happened between us, but it still ended.”
“Derek Hale, huh? He’s been quite the character in our family’s story.”
“Yeah, sure know how to pick ‘em,” the girl chuckled awkwardly. “Didn’t even get to become a problem for the Argents. Over before we even began.”
“Do you wanna talk about it?” Henry asked. “You don’t have to, of course. But it can help you make sense of everything.”
“I don’t… he just said something that he can’t take back,” she shrugged, sinking into the seat. (Y/N) considered telling her father the entire story. From the dreams to the agreement she had made with Derek, she wanted him to know everything. But if he could keep his secrets, so could she. At least until they all erupted to the surface. “We just don’t work, I guess. No point in really delving into the whole thing.”
“Well, I’m here if you wanna talk about it, kid,” he said as he killed the car’s engine. “Let me help you out.”
Henry rounded the car and took his daughter in his arms, carrying her inside.
The house was quiet and dark, save for a light in the kitchen. There, Rebecca was serving a wine glass for herself. As (Y/N) came into view, the glass slipped from her hand and shattered on the ground, spilling liquid as red as the blood that stained her daughter’s skin.
“What happened?!” she exclaimed as she ran to her daughter. “I thought you were supposed to stay away from this.”
“She wasn’t gonna work with the hunters,” Henry said as he set (Y/N) on a stool by the kitchen island. “Doesn’t mean she wasn’t gonna help her friends.”
“Did they do this to you, (Y/N)?” Rebecca worried. “Did those things hurt you?”
“No, mom,” (Y/N) scoffed. “This is the work of Allison. You know, your niece who was hellbent on getting the local pack to avenge her mother. Yeah, she did this.”
“No… Allison wouldn’t.”
“She did,” Henry confirmed. “Gerard was real proud.”
“Come on, she’s family,” the woman continued to argue. “Allison wouldn’t do that to you.”
“We can stay here and argue about what happened to me,” (Y/N) sighed, “or you can help me with these wounds. Just stop. Please, mom.”
Rebecca hurried to the cupboard under the kitchen sink. She pulled out the first aid kit and quickly set to work on her daughter. First, she cut the leg of her pants, sliding it softly down her leg, careful not to disturb the wound. The girl’s thigh was covered in dried blood, fresh droplets still coming out of the cut. Thankfully, the knife hadn’t gone deep enough to nick any veins, but it had caused enough damage to drench her jeans and her skin with blood.
The woman cleaned the skin surrounding the wound, mindful of her daughter’s jerks and winces as she worked. Once the area was clear she glued the skin back together with a liquid bandage before doing the same with the girl’s shoulder. Finally, she covered both wounds with a waterproof bandage and gave her daughter two ibuprofen pills.
“Why don’t you head up to the shower and go to bed, honey?” Rebecca said as she put the items away. “We can all talk calmly tomorrow. It’s been a long night already.”
“Yeah, are you asking me or telling me?”
“Okay, kid, let’s get you upstairs,” Henry said, stifling a laugh. “There’s gonna be a lot to unpack tomorrow.”
“Alright, I get the hint,” (Y/N) said as she got off the stool, careful to keep her weight mostly off her hurt leg. “Good night, guys.”
“Do you need any help?”
“I think I can manage.” She tested her steps, making sure she could at least make it to her room without help. “Yeah. I’m good.”
“Alright,” Henry said before kissing the top of his daughter’s head. “Let me know if anything changes during the night, munchkin. I don’t care how late it is.”
“Yeah. Thanks.” (Y/N) limped toward the staircase, pressing her nails into her palms as pain shot up her leg and through her arm. She knew she should have asked for help, even if it was just to her room. But she had felt useless enough. “Night, guys.”
“Good night, honey,” her parents called out.
The girl mustered all the strength she could to make it all the way to her room. Part of her hoped Erica and Boyd had made it to her house. But as soon as her doorknob turned without any fight, she knew they were not there. All she could do was hope they at least were somewhere safe. Maybe they had gone through their plan of skipping town. Maybe.
Instead of two teen werewolves inside her room, she was met with an expectant Brody. In the blink of an eye, he had jumped off her bed and was by her side, whimpering as he noted the star of her body. He nudged her healthy leg softly, his eyes focused on hers.
“Hey, buddy,” she chuckled painfully. “I’m alright, boy. Just gotta get all this dirt off.”
Brody merely whined in response, clearly worried for his owner.
“I’m okay, bud,” (Y/N) smiled weakly. “We won tonight. Yeah. We won.”
She wasn’t sure if those last words had been to calm her dog or if she had to convince herself. They’d merely won a fight, but she could feel a war coming in. Something no one was ready for.
But she couldn’t worry about the future just yet. Not when the present was still so fresh.
After sending Brody to her bed, (Y/N) hurried to the bathroom. She set her change of clothes on the bathroom sink before ripping the dirty clothes off her body. The fabric had darkened with her blood, making it cling to her as it dried. Both items were unsalvageable, already cut and sulked by her wounds. They were evidence of a fight well fought but they reminded her of all she had done wrong.
(Y/N) set the shower to run hot before she allowed the stream to over her aching body. As the water came close to singe her skin, she allowed the tears to fall from her eyes, one of her hands flying to her mouth to muffle the sobs that escaped her.
Her mind kept replaying the night. She had started off strong with her fight back at the school. Hell, she had felt invincible then. When she had helped Erica and Boyd escape, she was sure the night would be filled with nothing but wins. But all it took was one wrong move and she’d allowed Allison to incapacitate her for the rest of the fight. If Stiles and Lydia had not burst in, she would have just become a burden to her friends. All the training and records she had broken had meant nothing. Not when a simple knife to her leg was enough to take her out of the running.
Then there had been Derek. She couldn’t get the gut-wrenching look of betrayal he sent her out of her mind. As much as he had hurt her, she didn’t want to hurt him. Yet, she knew Scott’s plan inevitably would. Derek was too married to the notion that the only way they could defeat Jackson was by killing him, but in doing so, he’d unravel too many knots that had already been tied.
When she had gone to see Scott after the fight in the sheriff’s station, (Y/N) had been sure she’d be leaving his house on Derek’s side. But there she learned just how much was at stake, and to beat Gerard they had to start playing his game. He had begged her not to tell Derek, knowing the alpha would find a way to get the Argent man exactly what he wanted. Knowing how much they could lose in the process, she had agreed. She didn’t tell anyone.
Much like she had done for her pain since she was a little girl, she kept it all inside. The girl shielded everyone around her from her fears and her sadness, too afraid to let them be consumed by the darkness that hid within her—in her mind and her heart. It was that very darkness that she was afraid would eat away at her when she least expected it. The void that lived in the chest of every Argent, waiting dormant until it was its time to wake.
(Y/N) had seen that darkness in Allison that night, but it had started its consumption many nights before. It had chiseled away at the barriers of her mind, clouding her thoughts with ire and vengeance. That night, it was the darkness that had sunk its knife into (Y/N)’s body for standing in the way. She couldn’t blame her cousin because she knew it all too well. It had visited her in her dreams, and it had been biding its time until it could have a taste of her too.
The water had grown cold by the time it had finally run clear. Ache returned to her muscles as the temperature dropped, and she knew her laments had to stop, too. No good would come from being alone with her thoughts, spiraling down an endless tunnel of dread.
At that moment, there was only one person that her mind drifted to for consolation. Regardless of what he had done and what he had said, she had grown to find comfort in him—his arms, his touch, his lips. And at that moment she needed that solace.
But he had made things clear, and no phone call or message could change his mind.
At least that’s what she thought.
(Y/N) left her bathroom, ready to sink into her cold bed and fall asleep to Brody’s gentle snores. She left the mess of dirty clothes on the floor—a problem for the morning. All she wanted was rest. Just rest.
She hadn’t expected to find Derek in the middle of her room, welcomed by an excited Brody. He was petting the dog and singing him praises when he noticed (Y/N) coming into the room, making him stop dead in his tracks. “(Y/N), I…” he started, unsure of what to say. “I know I shouldn’t be here, but after tonight I just had to see you, make sure you were okay. I can go if that’s what you want. I just…”
(Y/N) didn’t let him finish. She ran to him and wrapped her arms around his waist, letting herself come undone in his arms. Words be damned, hurt be damned. All she wanted was that moment. She allowed herself to sob into his chest, melting into his embrace like she had done before, and she cried. She cried until she didn’t remember if she had stopped.

Pairing: Void/Stiles x reader
Warnings: surprisingly not many, unrequited love??, scary void??, mentions of murder/killing/death threats???
Summary: void corners you in the empty school and gives some insightful advice
Word count: 1.9k
Tumblr media
“Void?” you breathed into the darkness.
Silence answered you, unsettling you more than you’d care to admit. You looked around the dim classroom, feeling your nerves dance in your stomach. The school was dark when the power was off. So dark that you could barely see to the other end of the room.
“Is anyone there?” you asked again, feeling panic claw at your throat as you waited for a response, every muscle in your body tensed.
Yet when you still didn’t get an answer, you started breathing a little easier. Maybe he wasn’t here. Maybe you could go home to your friends and forget about ever hearing that voicemail on your phone, threatening your family if you didn’t come to the school to meet up with him. To meet up with Void.
You let out another breath, letting your shoulders relax slightly as you turned towards the door. Void wasn’t here, and though that could mean you were here as a distraction, you couldn’t help but feel relieved that you didn’t have to see him. The Nogistune was truly terrifying, a supernatural creature you had no want to get to know.
“Going so soon?”
You froze, feeling like you’d just been dowsed in cold water. The hairs on your neck stood up as a wave of nausea hit you. Even still you didn’t turn around. You just stood there, rooted to the spot with your eyes squeezed shut, begging for this all to be a dream.
You heard Void’s soft footsteps as he walked up behind you, barely breathing. You waited with bated breath for him to say something, do something, but he just stood there behind you, enjoying the sight of your fear.
Suddenly you felt a finger trace your jaw and your eyes flew open to find Void standing right in front of you, a small smirk curled onto his face. You glanced behind you, but no one was there. When had he moved in front of you? Why hadn’t you heard him? You felt queasy as you thought of how silent Void had been, how he had purposely let you hear his footsteps, all to see you tremble before him. It was sick. He was sick.
You stared up at him, at the face that was once so familiar, now distorted and wrong, trying to find some shred of dignity inside of you. You didn’t want to seem afraid, but how could you hide your fear when he could smell it? When he feasted upon the very terror you were trying to hide from him?
Void stared right back at you, the smirk on his face slowly growing. He had bags under his eyes and he was very pale. You could only imagine Stiles was looking even worse, which made your stomach lurch.
“I’m glad you came,” Void finally spoke, the hairs on your arms rising just at the sound of his voice.
You swallowed thickly, trying to calm your heartbeat as he took a step forward, trailing his finger down to your throat, resting on your racing pulse. He smiled, his eyes flicking up to your face where he could no doubt see the terror written all over you, no matter your attempts to hide it away.
He grinned, the sight making your stomach drop. “Are you glad you came?”
Not really, you thought wryly, still able to keep your sarcastic demeanour even in serious situations. It was one of the reasons you and Stiles became friends so quickly; you were both too sarcastic for your own good. You knew in this moment though, where you were alone in an empty school with a Nogistune, that sarcasm would not help you.
So instead you just stayed silent, hoping Void would get to the point of why you were here. His hand was still on your pulse, which was unnerving you nearly as much as how close the Nogistune was to you, barely a breath away.
Void raised an eyebrow at your silence. “Not in a talking mood?”
Mutely, you shook your head. Void stared at you, cocking his head to the side as he raised his hand to lightly brush along your cheek. You did your best not to flinch, standing as rigid as a statue as you waited for him to be done with whatever he was doing. It was pathetic, you knew, but you didn’t have much of an option. You weren’t powerful like Scott or smart like Lydia. You couldn’t grow claws or punch with enough force to break walls. You were just an average human, one that Void could toy with however he wanted, because you certainly wouldn’t be able to do anything to stop him.
“Do you know why I asked you to come here?” Void asked, finally taking a step back.
Immediately you felt some weight on your lungs lift. You no longer felt like you were suffocating, because now you actually had space to breathe. Your eyes fluttered shut for a moment, but they were back open and alert as soon as he continued speaking.
“I asked you to come here because I have a theory.”
Curious, you couldn’t help but ask, “what theory?”
Void grinned, beckoning you closer with his hand. Reluctantly, you took a small step closer, but that didn’t seem to be enough for Void because he grabbed on your wrist and tugged you closer until you were flush against his chest.
Void looked down at you, tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear as an unreadable expression took over his face. “Stiles Stilinski is in love with you.”
You stared at Void, momentarily caught off guard. Stiles, in love with you? You’d been helplessly in love with him for years, yet you’d always believed it was unrequited, what with Stiles’ infatuation with Lydia, but now here Void was, telling you he was in love with you, and he’d know better than anyone wouldn’t he, having possessed him and all.
Even so you couldn’t bring yourself to completely believe him. There was the doubt that had followed you around for years holding you back, the doubt that came in the form of Stiles staring longingly at Lydia, or the smile she’d put on his face that you’d never managed to do.
“How do you know?” you asked quietly, relieved that your voice didn’t waver like you’d feared it might.
Void looked at you pityingly. “Oh don’t worry, he loves Lydia more, if that’s what you were wondering.”
It felt like a kick to the stomach. You knew he preferred Lydia over you, knew he loved her more, but to actually here it be said, be confirmed, was worse than you could have ever imagined. It felt like all your dreams were being crushed, like your heart was being squeezed as hard as possible, like someone had taken a sledgehammer to your chest.
After everything you’d done for him. Every night spent doing his homework for him because he had gotton side tracked with helping Scott. Every time you picked him up after he fell, not Lydia. Every time you comforted when he was upset, letting him cry on your shoulder while Lydia was who knows where. It was you who had helped him all those times, you who had been there for him through everything, you who loved him endlessly, yet he’d choose Lydia over you in a heartbeat.
It wasn’t fair, and it angered you beyond measure. Instead of focusing on your grief, you focused on the rage, knowing it would help you in this situation more than sadness ever could. Anger was a weapon, something Derek had taught you early on, and you intended to use it as such.
“That’s not what I asked,” you eventually said. “I asked how you knew.”
Void raised his eyebrows, pleasantly surprised at your change of attitude. “Well, it ties in with my theory, you see. I split myself from Stiles, but in doing so I seemed to take a bit of him with me, as he took a bit of me with him. Now, I’m not sure what that part of me might have manifested into. It could be aggression, distrust, or anything, really, but I think I’ve figured out what his part manifested into.”
You couldn’t help but cross your arms, irritated at his monologue. You had just gotton your heart torn in two, yet he didn’t seem to care as he talked riddles at you. You’d asked him a simple question; you wanted a simple answer in return. “Which is?”
Void’s lips curved into a smirk as he stared at you. “I thought it would be obvious.” At your silence he continued. “It manifested into his love for you.”
You couldn’t help the “oh” that tumbled out of your mouth at his words. This whole confrontation was starting to make a bit more sense, now that you had all the information. This meant, though, that Void was in love with you. Void, a Nogistune that had killed countless people, was in love with you. What were you supposed to do with that?
“Why are you telling me this?” you finally managed to say.
He cupped your face in his hands, his eyes hungry as he stared you. “Because I want you to join me, Y/n. Stiles doesn’t deserve you, he never will. All these people you call friends will sacrifice you without a second thought if it meant saving someone else. You will always be a second choice if you stay there.”
You stared at him, a million thoughts racing through your mind at his request. Join Void? Could you really stand against your friends? Fight against them? The people who you’d known for years, who had always stuck by your side?
Not always, a vicious voice spoke in your mind. Void is right. You’re always a second choice to them. Always second best, when you deserve to be first. He had spoken all your doubts aloud, cementing them in truth. You’d always ignored them, but now that Void had acknowledged them you weren’t sure you could anymore.
Didn’t you want to be someone’s first choice? Didn’t you deserve it? After everything you’ve done for all of them, and they couldn’t even care enough to put you first. The familiar feeling of anger returned, and you remembered your goal to use it as a weapon. You hadn’t thought you’d use it against your friends, but then again, aren’t they the reason you were angry in the first place? Don’t they deserve to feel your anger, to know what pain you’d gone through?
You looked up at Void, searching his face for any hint of doubt, any hint that he didn’t actually want this. He only stared back at you hungrily, waiting for you to make your decision.
And you did.
You grabbed his neck and pulled him close, pressing your lips against him fiercely. He returned the kiss immediately, wrapping his arms around your waist to pull you closer. You melted into the kiss, letting him explore your mouth and give you pleasure with every flick of his tongue. You held onto him tighter, relishing in the way he made you feel. No one had made you feel like this, made you feel as powerful as you did in this moment. You could tell that Void wanted you, the way he gave a sound of approval from his throat when you pulled him even closer.
He lifted you up on to a desk, moving between your legs and you dutifully wrapped them around him, your hands pressing against his chest. Void tilted your head to the side to get better access to your mouth, one of his hands going to your hair and entangling them in it.
You felt powerful, and you knew you’d get revenge on you so called ‘friends’, with Void right by your side.

Better than him -Void Stiles
Warnings: Angst, fluff, cusses, not proof-read
Summary: You have a crush on a boy, but he does weird things. Good for you, there is another boy whose eyes you caught
Tumblr media
You were tired. So fucking tired. Tired that the boy you love didn't show you the same love. You tried everything, and it went good, till it suddenly didn't.
The two of you started texting one day, but then he told you he was dating someone else. You got sad but eventually got over it till he began to stare at you everywhere he saw you. It was a never-ending story, and you hated it.
You didn't know if he wanted something from you or not, but it wasn't normal to stare at someone all the time, right?
"He is watching you again," Lydia mumbled before she took another bite of her salad.
You took a big breath and turned around, just to be met by his brown eyes.
"Gosh, what's wrong with this boy. I thought he was dating." You huffed as you turned around to Lydia again.
She just shrugged, "I have no idea, but we have much bigger problems right now. Stiles is still possessed."
Stiles. He was your best friend, at least till the nogitsune possessed him. You wanted nothing more but to get him back.
"I know, and I will also help you with the nogitsune, even if I am just human." You mumbled, munching on your food.
----
It was 9 p.m. and you just took a shower. A few hours ago you had a pack meeting where Scott explained his plan. Your job was to stay at home because it would be too dangerous for you.
Of course, you started to argue with them, trying to let you help them. But it didn't help, and now you were practically locked inside your house.
You were drýing your hair when you saw a shadow in the corner of your eyes.
A little scream left your mouth before you locked eyes with the nogitsune.
"Hello, there." He said with a smirk.
"W-what do you want?" You asked, scared that he would try something.
He chuckled, but took a step closer, "I must admit I thought they would be wiser than hide you here."
You didn't understand what he wanted and why he was here.
"You know, I am always a little- upset when this boy looks at you the way he does," Void told you.
Now you were even more confused, " Why would you?"
"Little dove, I have watched you since I first laid my eyes on you. You are magnificent." He said, looking right into your eyes.
"Nogitsunes can't love, so cut the bullshit." You started to get angrier.
But his smirk just got bigger, "We feed off emotions. I have to say, I love the pain and chaos between you and that boy, but I would prefer your desire and lust."
You were speechless. Void Stiles, the one who possessed your best friend, loves you?
"So, what do you say, dove?" Void smirked.
