would you be willing to do a follow up to the teen wolf pregnancy hcs? something with the characters interacting with their kid - can be as a baby or older - just them being parents and adjusting to being young parents.
i love your writing 💗💗💗
Fyi, I was not even planning on working on requests tonight, but this caught my attention so much and gave me such a good idea that I had to do it. I decided to do it with the same characters from the first part, but if you want to see this prompt with other characters, then I would do the 'how they react to finding out that you're pregnant' part first with different characters
My requests for Teen Wolf are OPEN, but please read my Rules before sending in a request.
Part One - How would they react to finding out that you're pregnant with their baby?
How would the pack act as parents?
Included: Stiles Stilinski, Isaac Lahey, Lydia Martin, and Derek Hale.
Warnings: fem reader - uses she/her pronouns and has the ability to get pregnant (she is the one who gave birth to the baby, as in the previous part); Stiles's part is extremely self indulgent and something I have been thinking about since I wrote the last part so bear with me; mentions of breastfeeding, giving birth, teething, and other parenting/baby topics; the baby is a different age and has a different name in each section just for funsies; mention of Lydia and reader's baby having red hair - but I did this to drive home the baby's genetic relation to Lydia and I don't think it has to specify the reader's race (someone with darker skin can still have naturally red hair); Lydia calls the reader 'Mama'; mention of the reader being a werewolf in Derek's part because there is a weird continuity in these reactions (and I should write a full fic about Derek and this reader character cause I am slowly becoming addicted to their story, ngl); I believe that's finally it.

Stiles was panicking. He was officially the worst parent ever - everything his dad said was right. He wasn't ready for this, nobody should be a teen parent, he was a failure. God, his whole life was crumbling around him...
You were out of town because your sister was getting married. You had been incredibly hesitant to leave the baby - sweet, adorable, nine-month-old Lila Stilinski - but Stiles had insisted that you go on a weekend getaway to your sister's bachelorette party. You deserved it. You had spent nine whole months growing his baby and then you had given birth to her (a bloody, messy affair that made him faint - to nobody's surprise), and you had spent the last nine months nursing her and getting your degree from home after you had fought through your pregnancy taking double courses to graduate high school early. You were a gem, a beautiful, shining gem of a woman and a mother, and somehow - while you were off getting your much needed rest and having fun - Stiles had lost your baby.
His baby - his baby that he loved very, very much.
He had woken up that morning, late, having forgotten to set the alarm, and rushed around the apartment like a chicken with his head cut off rushing to get Lila ready for day care and himself ready for school, and he dropped her off as usual, with a smile and kiss on her big beautiful forehead. And when he went to pick her up that afternoon - she was gone. The day care worker couldn't give him any other news than the fact that she had been 'signed out already', and it left Stiles panicking, thinking about that cult that sacrifices babies every single day.
In his rush that morning, he had forgotten to charge his phone, so he couldn't get his dad on the line - and he was currently running at top, lung-crushing speed toward the police station, running past the deputy on duty at the front desk, who simply shrugged and buzzed him in when she saw his bright red face and his clear desperation.
"Dad, D-dad, you have to-!" He was going to ask his father to put out an amber alert, to call every single one of his deputies back to get them looking, but when his father turned around - that sweet girl with the bright purple bow in her hair was in his arms.
Then, Stiles shifted on a dime from panic to anger.
"Dad, what the hell?" He barked out, struggling to sound as pissed off as he was while still trying to catch his breath.
"What?" The Sheriff shrugged, kissing his granddaughter on the forehead before cooing brightly at her, smiling at her with all the brightness in the world, paying Stiles absolutely no mind.
"You took her out of day care without telling me first?" Stiles gaped, absolutely angered that his father had let him believe for even a moment that his girl was missing.
He knew it was a cruel irony - a blunt kind of karma. All the times he had come home late, all the nights he had snuck out believing that his dad was simply being too hard on him for giving him such an early curfew. Now, in a single crashing moment, he instantly understood why his father had worried so much - why he was so angry every single time Stiles was out of his sight, especially when there was danger around.
"Your phone was off." Noah shrugged, rocking Lila back and forth in his arms, giving her another kiss on the forehead as he began to hum the tune of a lullaby under his breath. "I got bored on my lunch break, and I wanted to see my baby, so what?"
It was the usual for him - any time he was within ten feet of her, she didn't have a moment in your arms or Stiles's. On the day she had been born, he had brought a giant gift basket to the hospital, grumbling under his breath about how he still thought it was 'irresponsible' of Stiles, but demanding to see 'his baby'.
He had burst into tears upon seeing Lila for the first time, and was deeply aggressive about who was allowed to visit and for how long. When she came home, he stood watch over her crib with his gun in hand for multiple days before he finally gave up and went to sleep (and according to you, he admitted quietly that he had done the same thing for Stiles when he first came home from the hospital).
"My phone died." Stiles stressed. "You could have left a note for me at the school or something. You gave me a freakin' heart attack."
"Be more responsible and charge it next time." The Sheriff grinned at him.
"Just - don't kidnap my daughter again!" Stiles snapped. "She is my daughter-" He argued, taking a possessive, protective stance.
"Yeah, well I made you, so I have certain rights when it comes to this little sweet girl." His father said, trailing off into a cooing baby voice as he began fawning over Lila once again. Stiles rolled his eyes. "Besides, ever since the three of you moved out, I hardly get to see my babygirl anymore."
Stiles felt a twinge of guilt at this, but wanted to argue. The three of you needed your own space, and you had moved into an apartment that was less than twenty minutes away from his father's house. He still saw Lila at least once every single day of the week, unless he was busy working.
"Dad-"
"Besides, it's not kidnapping if I'm the Sheriff."
"It is so kidnapping! It's kidnapping if I report you."
"Is it still considered an abortion if I terminate you now?" His father glared at him.
Stiles let out a huff.

Isaac was tired. He knew that being a parent was going to be tiring, but in the six months since baby Leon had been born, this was his first full night alone with his son. His son who was teething, crying incredibly loudly, and in pain because of his little teeth coming in. He wasn't nearly as upset about the fact that he hadn't slept as he was about the fact that his son was in pain and he could do little about it.
He had considered calling you a few times throughout the night when Leon was letting out particularly harrowing cries and Isaac was on the verge of tears himself (especially considering with his heightened werewolf senses, the pain of those cries seemed to pierce through him even more) - but he had agreed to take care of Leon by himself to get him out of the house that you and your mother shared because you had been studying for the SATs and you needed sleep the night before your big exam. So as much as it pained him, he endured alone and ended up crying with his son while he sucked on a frozen teething toy with tears still running down his chubby cheeks.
The sun had come up a while ago and Leon had just fallen asleep, his portable crib set up in the middle of the loft so that Isaac could watch over him - his hair messy and his eyes bloodshot red as he stood at the counter, chugging down a cup of black coffee, trying his hardest to stay away until after your exam was over so that you could take Leon and he could have a nap.
He was not at all pleased when the door creaked open, seeming like the loudest thing ever - alerting him to the presence of Boyd entering the apartment.
"Hey, man-" Boyd greeted him in a usual bright tone, and Isaac cut him off with an abrupt hush. He put a finger to his lips and then motioned to the crib, and Boyd peeked over, nodding once he saw the baby. "You're on Daddy duty again?"
"It's not like it's a hobby or something," Isaac told him tiredly in a hushed tone. "I am a father now." Even with the tense whispering and the tired droop of his shoulders, there was a certain sense of pride in the way he said this.
"Well you-"
Isaac shushed him again, as Boyd speaking in his usual tone was far too loud for Isaac's liking.
"You know, he's gonna have to get adjusted to noise sooner or later." Derek piped up from his place on the couch, where Isaac had convinced him to sit and read a book until Leon had settled to sleep.
"Shh!" Isaac tried to hush Derek into silence, but he glared at Isaac and kept talking at his usual volume.
"Babies born into pack families are brought up co-sleeping, so they sleep through the noise of a dozen family members-"
Isaac crossed the room and put a hand against Derek's mouth, forcing him quiet this time.
"I don't care." Isaac insisted. "Nobody is going to wake up my son now that he is asleep."
"Stop touching me." Derek said, muffled against Isaac's hand.
Isaac backed off, and before Derek could speak up again, Leon woke with a high pitched wail.
"You guys have fun with that." Boyd said, taking this as his queue to leave.

Lydia was overjoyed. Telling her parents about everything had been nothing short of a confusing nightmare, and after a lot of convincing from Melissa and Noah and a lot of questions without a lot of answers, they had both still been sceptical right up until you had given birth.
The moment they had laid eyes on a sweet newborn baby girl with bright red hair - they were convinced that against all odds, you and Lydia had made a baby together.
That was an entire year ago - and now, Lydia was having the utter pleasure of planning her beautiful Luna Harmony Martin's first birthday party. She was so perfectly in her element - picking out decorations, designing an utterly epic and fabulous birthday cake (including a separate, smaller smash cake that only her daughter would get to touch, because it was only the best for Luna), planning entertainment - a professional princess performer and some magicians (no clowns - Luna didn't need those kind of memories implanted in her psyche this early on), and the best part: picking out cute little dresses for the birthday girl to wear.
Much like her mother, she was a fashion icon, and she would likely need multiple outfit changes for her party - not just with the fact that she would get covered in cake or her own spit-up, but because a proper birthday girl should always be photographed in more than one ensemble.
You weren't surprised when Lydia came home with two large armfuls of shopping bags. You wanted to protest, to tell her that a one-year-old didn't need that many clothes that she wasn't even going to wear, but you knew that Lydia's parents weren't going to take away her credit card anytime soon (and when it came to spoiling the baby, they were even worse) and you also knew that this was one of her ways of showing your daughter love.
So when she came to sit on the cushy foam playmat with you and Luna, dropping the many shopping bags on the cough behind the two of you, you simply let it happen.
"Hello my sweet girl," Lydia said, greeting your daughter in a sweet voice as she kissed her chubby cheeks and pulled her into her lap. "And hello to you, Mama."
Mama. The nickname still made your stomach churn with heat - something that Lydia had gotten into calling you more lately after some rant about how Luna's 'speech centre' was 'rapidly developing' and she wanted to influence what the baby would call you.
You couldn't help but to grin as you kissed her too.
"I see you've been shopping." You said, motioning toward the bags.
"A bit." Lydia shrugged. "After I booked the carousel-"
"A carousel?" You questioned. "Lydia, she's a year old. She can't even ride carnival rides - she's not even going to remember any of this."
"It's for the photos. Obviously." Lydia sighed in return, rolling her eyes at you. "The theme of the party is Cotton Candy Princess, what kind of idiot would I be if I didn't include at least one classic carnival ride in my photos?"
"At this rate, she's gonna want a golden pony by the time she's five."
"Then she'll get one." Lydia cooed at Luna, kissing her cheeks again, smearing pink lipstick on her.
You couldn't help but to smile - you knew that this was Lydia's way of showing your daughter that to her, she was the most important little girl in the world.

Derek was annoyed - not with his son, with you.
Since the moment he had found out that you were pregnant, Derek loved his son more than anything in the world. He loved you just as much, he had right from the moment he had slashed Peter's throat and then turned you where you were dying, bleeding out, and used his newfound Alpha powers to turn you in order to save your life. Because that was the moment he knew he would risk anything and everything in order to keep you alive.
He loved you very much, but he was still annoyed with you.
You were determined not to let Derek sleep with his son - a tradition as old as pack life itself, now being marred by you shoving articles in Derek's face about how co-sleeping was 'dangerous' and how the baby should have his own crib. A baby of only three months old should not be damned to isolation. It made Derek's heart ache just thinking about it. He was used to the comfort of your body - he was used to the sync of your heartbeat, the sound of his voice and Derek's constantly nearby. He shouldn't be off in the corner by himself. You had made Derek feel like some criminal, sneaking out of bed at one in the morning to pluck his son out of that damned crib in order to spend some time with him.
And now, Alexander was sleeping peacefully on his bare chest, skin to skin as nature intended, feeling the peace of his father's heartbeat as Derek dozed into a gentle sleep himself on the sofa himself. He was - until he heard the distinct squeak of the bed springs on your side, a distinct huff from you as you got out of bed.
"Derek," You sighed when you saw what he had done, crossing your arms over your chest - it was an entirely appealing sight; the incredibly small baby perched in the middle of his bare chest, so tiny against Derek's large, muscled frame. But it did make you worry - Alexander wasn't secured in any way - he could fall, he could roll off. Even though Derek was an incredibly capable, loving parent, even in the haze of sleep, he could roll over and crush the baby.
It scared you.
"What - are you gonna take him from me?" He glared at you, deep betrayal in his voice. It was clear that the only thing keeping him from raising his voice further was the restraint not to yell so close to the baby's ear. "Do you honestly think that I would hurt my son?"
You held back tears, hating how much the insinuation clearly pained Derek.
"Never." You told him, your own tears choking your throat. "Derek, I know that you would never hurt him intentionally. But-"
"Exactly." He replied, cutting you off. "And there is nothing that will harm him. I am not going to let it happen."
You sighed, putting a hand to your forehead in frustration.
Derek shook his head, sitting up, putting a hand against Alexander's diapered bum to support him - able to hold nearly the entirety of his tiny body with one hand.
"Didn't you notice that all of those articles you read are written by humans?" He pointed out. "This is something that my family has done for generations. Our senses are honed for stuff like this. The moment that a baby is born, we sleep differently. Haven't you noticed?"
You had noticed - you felt like you had been sleeping with only half your brain, like a shark. You thought it was something your mother had warned you about, how you would never get a full night's rest again after having a baby. But it felt different. You did wake up rested, but you didn't dream anymore. You felt conscious nearly the entire time you were asleep - hyper aware of everything, your body responsive to every single coo, every little noise the baby made. You became hyper aware of the rhythm of his heartbeat while you slept, often using it as a white noise machine while you laid there.
"Yeah." You admitted - Derek gave you a subtle smug grin, and nodded.
"I'm not going to hurt him, not even by accident - because I can't." Derek told you firmly. "I will wake up the minute he cries, and I won't shift in my sleep. And this is healthy for us. Our heartbeats will sync up and this will help him sleep better. Please, just trust me on this."
Derek rarely pleaded with you about things, rather than outright telling you - so you knew that this mattered to him greatly.
"Yes. I trust you." You told him. "Come back to bed?" You posed. "All of us in the same bed."
He smiled, and leaned in to kiss you before he got up off the couch, bringing your son with him.
(When you woke up the next morning, the crib was smashed to pieces, and Derek - who was in the kitchen making breakfast with Alexander still pressed to one shoulder - claimed that he had no idea how it happened.)

Creep Alert - Teen Wolf Preference
Tumblr media
Fandom: Teen Wolf
Because someone has made me very uncomfortable at weekly pinball and I would like to take Theo.
Stiles: Okay he's not always the most observant person around, he will be talking to himself trying to figure something out or keep walking not realizing someone else has come up and gone all up in your space. When he turns about and you are visibly uncomfortable he RUNS back, trip/sliding between you and the guy pushing his hand off. Might have yelled "CREEP ALERT" on his way over, mile a minute talking asking if you're okay, did they do anything? name drops that he is the son of the sheriff and can get that guy written up for harassment. "Do you want to file a report on him? I'll call dad right now. Don't you go anywhere, we're not done here- PARRISH!" Spots a squad car and shouts over (it was not Parrish) and it becomes mess. But it certainly did the job.
Scott: Good of heart, dumb of ass. Despite his wolf instinct telling him to destroy the threat, he comes over the moment your scent turns distressed. He comes up right next to you with a comforting hand on your arm and inserts himself into the conversation. Genuinely not realizing this guy's intentions or what's going on besides you're uncomfortable and asks what's going on. Usually he's enough to diffuse the situation, but if someone's persistent he'll instead have you both leave.
Lydia: Has been in this kind of scenario too many times that she sees it coming across the room before anyone talks to you. She's learned exactly how to handle herself, either sweetly or with words that cut. Or if she had a 'big, strong, man' to handle it for her. Lydia's at your side immediately, telling them you're not interested and how far she'll shove her heel up their ass.
Liam: Sure, mess with the S/O of the werewolf kid with IED, that's a good idea. He doesn't usually stray far from your side but a few steps away was enough for someone to take his spot and feel a little too comfortable getting in your space and questioning you. His gaze shoots to you as discomfort sours your scent. He speeds over, eyes flashing gold and getting right in their face with you behind him. Not afraid to get physical if they want to keep it up.
Also if it's Brett coming to flirt with you, either because he's a slut or just to try and piss Liam off and you really are uncomfortable with his advances, all bets are off. Claws are out and he wants blood, it's a whole scene.
Isaac: At first it's a little harder for Isaac to come to your rescue, even though he's a werewolf now he's not used to the kind of confidence of doing something like this. You were always the one to try and protect him, and never faulted him when he didn't come to your defense, just trying to make sure you were okay after.
But now he's a werewolf, he can do better. He stronger. Intimidating. Despite everything, he still had to psych himself up walking over to you, who is obviously uncomfortable. He's not sure how to insert himself, but he is quite noticeable and doesn't have to do much. Being so much taller (and chest puffed) than your pest, they take the smart move to leave. Visibly deflate and swallows after that interaction and asks if you're okay. Gets bashful when you call him your knight.
Malia: No filter and very brash. People have thought of messing with her but the energy she gives off and feral look in her eye is almost always enough to deter them first. You though, are not so lucky. Already very standoffish, once she sense someone is making you uncomfortable she is staring them down and growling, barely keeping her claws in even as they leave.
Derek: He normally is overprotective of you, usually you just roll your eyes at his worries. But you certainly feel safe with a scowling sourwolf beside you. Until he's gone a few minutes too long and someone thinks that's their chance.
When he sees someone crowding in on you he's speeding right through the crowd and shoving them backwards hard enough to make them stumble and once they're thoroughly scared shitless by his hardened stare to flee, he's trying to get you to leave grumbling how "we never should have come here anyway."

Hey guys this is something I have been working on but I'm not sure in what direction I want to take it in so I'll let you decide :) Tell me what you think.
"Stiles I am not going to help you cheat in Spanish..."
"What! I would never ask you to help me cheat, I am simply just asking my best friend in the entire world to sit next to me during the test..."
Scott frowns and punches Stiles lightly "Hey! What am I? Chopped liver? I speak spanish too!"
"Ok so tell me the ABCs in Spanish then" Stiles rubs the spot where Scott punched.
Scott glares at Stiles and Yn shakes her head "Just because Scott doesn't know Spanish doesn't make him any less Latino Stiles. Don't be an ass."
"Primo, Tu entiendes español, si o no?" (Cousin, you understand Spanish right?)
Scott shakes his head yes. Yn nods and looks over at Stiles "Don't be an ass to my cousin and don't cheat off my test" she sighs as she gets up from the table.
"Let me cheat and I'll...uhhh I won't tell Isaac you like him!" Stiles smirks smugly.
"Stiles, she's gay..."
"Oh"

Quiet...But Loyal(Teen Wolf X Mute!Reader)- Prologue
Tumblr media
(This is chapter one, but I also have the links to Wattpad, Neobook, and Quotev on my series masterlist! I'm also new to do series' on Tumblr, so I might be a little rusty at first)
Series Masterlist | Next Chapter
(This story is inclusive, to all my girlies (and whoever else is reading)!!! To all body types, skin colors, and more!! If I say anything to offend, upset, or exclude you, please notify me!! Hope you enjoy the story!!!)
July 19th, 2001 Michigan Adoption Center
The Yukimura's sat quietly in the waiting room, waiting for someone to come up and tell them that they could finally choose someone to adopt. Noshiko Yukimura and her daughter, Kira Yukimura were sitting in a chair, a young 5 year old Kira sitting quietly in her mothers lap with her toy. Kira's father, Ken Yukimura, was standing next to the front desk.
They were waiting to be called so they could see the kids, and chose one to come home with them. The two Yukimura adults have been wanting to adopt for quite some time, and Kira was ecstatic to have a sibling, whether they were younger or older. Noshiko was no longer allowed to have children, due to some medical problems when having Kira. The Yukimura family felt like something was missing, and Noshiko had the bright idea of adopting, and Kira squealed in delight at that, clueless about adoption but brightened up when it meant she could have a sibling.
When they were called in they started looking around, looking at different kids and Kira interacted with most of them, but they still couldn't seem to find the right one. No one felt right. Finally afterwards they were lead to the back by one of the assistants, which is where they saw a shy, frail girl.
They noticed that when Kira went to say hi to her, she didn't speak, she only waved...and that was something that intrigued the Yukimura's.
"That's Y/n, she's four and she is mute. She doesn't really like being around others, they always pick on her. She usually sticks to herself, but she really enjoys listening to music, and she likes to read and paint." the assistant said, talking to the two Yukimura parents, while Kira was talking to Y/n.
"If it's not too personal, why is she mute?" Noshiko asked.
"About 6 months ago, she got in a really bad car crash. She wasn't injured that much, but she does have a few scars. That's when she unfortunately ended up losing her parents, and she had 2 older brothers but they were never found, and were declared missing." The assistant told them, looking at Y/n with slightly pity.
"Oh God." Noshiko said in Japanese, covering her mouth, while Ken held a shocked face.
"I know...it's terrible, and Y/n has refused to speak ever since, and now she is mute. She is also still learning sign language, but hopefully over the years she will get very good at it."
Noshiko and Ken shared a look. "Mind if we try and talk to her?" Noshiko asked.
"Of course, you are always allowed to speak to any of the children, go right ahead."
Noshiko and Ken made their way over to where Y/n and Kira are. Kira was happily blabbering away, while Y/n was listening with an adorable smile on her face. Noshiko knelt down to Y/n's level, with a soft smile on her face.
"Hey there, I was told your name is Y/n, mine is Noshiko, and this is my husband Ken, along with our daughter Kira."
Y/n looked at her, her head tilting in curiosity, while she held a blank expression on her face. Noshiko looked around and noticed that there was a painting behind Y/n. It was a beautiful moon, with a wolf howling. It had many different colors, with shading and dark purples, blues, and pinks. It was quite impressive for a four year old.
"Is this yours?" Ken asked, while Noshiko observed the painting, and Kira's mouth widened in shock. Y/n nodded, with a bright smile on her face, as she got up and walked over to the painting, happy to show someone her painting.
"That is so cool!" Kira said, walking over to the painting.
"It is very beautiful, Y/n." Noshiko said.
Right when the family of 3 was about to say something, the assistant came back.
"Sorry to bother you, but your time is up, it's time to make your decision." the assistant said.
Noshiko and Ken held hands, while Kira trailed behind them, but she was waving to Y/n and Y/n waved back. They were taken back up to the front office, where the front desk lady and the assistant were waiting.
"Have you decided on which child you would like to take home?" the front desk lady asked.
Noshiko and Ken looked at each other, while Kira was tugging on both of their pant legs, saying Y/n's name, it seemed like Kira had already become quite fond of Y/n already.
"We'll be taking the lovely Y/n, please." Ken said, Kira jumping up and down in happiness.
"That sounds great, we will go get her stuff, and all you have to do is sign some legal documents, and ASL lesson plans, then you can take her back to your house. There might be some CPS officers at your door in a couple months, but that's only to check and see how Y/n is doing with you guys." The assistant gave Noshiko and Ken some papers.
Y/n was back painting in the back of the playroom when one of the assistants came up to her, telling her she should get her stuff together, and that she was being adopted. As Y/n was packing up, along with the help from some others, the smile never left her face, she had an idea who was adopting her, and she had no problem with that at all.
Y/n walked down the stairs while an assistant was carrying her bags behind her. Y/n didn't pack much, just all her favorite books, all her painting supplies, all of her favorite paintings, clothes, and other necessities. When she walked down the stairs she saw the Yukimura family waiting for her, and Kira came up and hugged her.
"You get to be my new sissy now!" Kira said happily, smiling while clinging to Y/n. Y/n smiled and hugged back, she was ready to go home with the Yukimura's. Part of her was scared, because back in her mind she didn't know what it was going to be like without her birth family, but she knew they were up in Heaven, hopefully happy.
The Yukimura's took her back to their motel, they informed Y/n that they were only staying in Michigan for a little while, because they were only there because they were looking for adoption centers, and that their real home was back in Japan. Kira had been talking to Y/n the whole time, telling her about their home in Japan, and about all the cool places there. Y/n sat there and listened, her eyes seeking interest in Kira's words, as she would also stare outside the window from time to time. Y/n's eyes would wander to the steering wheel every once in a while, but her mind had blocked out the night of the incident. Her own subconscious was simply trying to protect her.
Noshiko and Ken were simply smiling, knowing that this was a great decision they just made.

Lydia Martin x Fem!Reader
Requested by Anon
Masterpost
Make a request
Request: Anonymous asked: Ooh Bonnie can I get Lydia Martin and a female reader with I'm a night owl?
.
With a yawn, you slowly stretched your whole body and rolled over. The bedside lamp on the other side of the double bed was on and you could see that the blankets were pushed back. Thinking perhaps Lydia had gone to the bathroom you shrugged to yourself and let yourself fall back asleep.
You’d just reached the heavy kind of sleep where you were more than sure that you were asleep but could have been awake and the world felt as if it were swaying back and forth. Your drowsy haze was broken by the sound of the back door opening. Getting up you made your way to the hall and saw that the bathroom light was off. Continuing downstairs you saw a faint glow coming from somewhere at the back of the house.
With a nervous hesitation to your footsteps, you walked through the dark house, able to stumble past the furniture in the near darkness with a comfortable ease. Making your way through the kitchen you headed to the back door, cracking it open and wincing at the glare of the porchlight. It cast an aggressive white-yellow light across the back garden which backed onto the woods. You could make out a shape across the garden. Squinting you realized it was Lydia. You quickly pushed the door open just enough to slip out into the cool night and slowly made your way towards her.
“Lydia? Why’re you up?” You asked as you reached her at the edge of the garden. She was fiddling with an unfamiliar, glowing, plant that seemed to be spreading from the depths of the forest.
“I’m a night owl.” Lydia muttered with a glassy gaze at the plant that she had picked. She stood and frowned at the flower in her hand which wilted and crumbled away.
“Perhaps you could be a night owl somewhere safe?” You suggested as Lydia lept back. The spot where she had picked the flower from suddenly became entangled with a new crop of the plant that tumbled towards you both. Lydia threw her arm in front of you as you both lept back.
“This is going to be one of those little things that ends up with us helping Scott defeat some fabled legend. Isn’t it.” You said as the two of you backed towards the house as the plants seemed to crawl out of the woods. Glancing around you could see that the neighboring houses were being consumed by the plants.
“I think the mountain ash is holding them off. We… we should get out of here.” Lydia said quickly as she grabbed your hand and pulled you back towards the house.

Tumblr media
Teen Wolf Masterlist | part 2
Characters & Pairings: Hale/McCall Pack x supernatural!reader (female/platonic), eventual Peter Hale x reader (romantic), reader x male!oc ( past romance) & reader x supernatural!reader (platonic). Characters in this imagine: Scott McCall, Stiles Stilinski, Lydia Martin, Allison Argent, Isaac Lahey, Derek Hale, Peter Hale.
Content Warnings: light angst, profanity, references of historical event disaster, mentions of death, blood, murder | afab!reader (she/her pronouns) | wc: 3.1k
Requested 📨 yes/no (rules for requests)
Premise: Suspicious deaths were a common occurrence in Beacon Hills—especially after things seem to be actually looking good when a previous problem is fixed. Now Scott and the pack are having to investigate a string of murders happening that not only reek of supernatural, but linked to an renowned event they’ve learned in history class.
Note: I’m hyperfixating on Titanic as of late so I have a lot of ideas involving AU’s and retelling with various fandoms. I just did a TGM au with Bradley Bradshaw and currently have a Twilight one in the works so expect a lot of Titanic in my works when I’m not writing requests.
————————————
Riddles were a tricky little thing. And when used in a malevolent way where to find the answer to a solution one must crack the code, riddles can become a person’s worst enemy.
And the one laying on the table of Derek’s loft was becoming their enemy.
Murders, which was becoming a common occurrence lately in Beacon Hills, were happening where the people were nearly drained of their blood by cutting their throats and wrists before letting them hang upside down. Stiles' father was overwhelmed with stress. Not to mention he was having to come to terms with the reality his town was a beating heart for supernatural creatures. Like how his sons best friend since childhood was a fucking werewolf.
And while it was presumed a human serial killer was responsible for the murders, the pack had an inkling it was more sinister. Investigating on their own they found more suspicious reasons to believe it was supernatural.
Only problem, they had no clue who or what it was.
They were all gathered over the table—save for Peter who was nestled on the couch. Stiles was rubbing a thumb over his lip, becoming frustrated as he was usually on top of solving riddles. Lydia was beside him, deep in thought as she read over the paper silently.
“He just left this here?” Scott glanced at Derek, who was standing with his arms crossed on the opposite side of the table.
“Right outside the door. Like he wanted us to find it.”
“And you heard nothing?” Stiles’ question earned him a glare. “Super hearing and you didn’t hear someone stabbing a piece of paper into your front door?”
“If I did you think I would’ve let him leave the damn note?” Derek spoke harshly.
“Riddle.”
“—knowing all it is is a distraction so he can kill more people.”
“It’s not just a distraction,” Allison interrupted the two bickering, staring hard at the note. “It’s an order. He’s asking us to find someone.”
“Yeah,” Isaac scoffed, “who we have no idea is.”
“Read it again,” Scott sighed, running a hand through his hair. With a huff, Stiles took the paper in his hands, clearing his throat before reading aloud for all to hear.
Have you figured it out yet?
Were my clues not enough?
You’re thinking too hard now,
Let me show you it’s not so tough.
Our faces the same,
As they were the day we changed.
Only the eyes no longer its color,
A price for the exchange.
You’ll find it almost disheartening,
When you learn of what we do.
Our nature is uncanny,
But it’s not so far from you.
Find the one I’m looking for,
And I’ll stop the chaos and the pain.
Are you ready?
Here’s your hint.
Time is of the essence,
So you better make it quick.
Wearing the Heart of the Ocean,
She’s closer than it seems.
For I seek the one I turned,
Who was on the Ship of Dreams.
Silence fills the loft, everyone thinking hard of what it could mean. There were so many clues but so vague it was difficult to puzzle them together.
“Well we know it’s someone supernatural,” Isaac hummed, attempting to lighten the situation.
“Yeah we got that genius,” Peter muttered.
“And he’s looking for a woman,” Allison added, ignoring Peter’s sarcasm. “Someone he turned. And was on a ship?” It comes out more like a question, “that could mean a lot of things.”
“Could it be a werewolf?” Scott turned to Derek
The man shook his head, “I don’t think so.”
“But the thing about the eyes—.”
“Many shapeshifters' eyes are like ours. That doesn’t mean it’s a wolf. Plus he said they’re not wolves.”
“How do you know?”
Derek rolls his eyes as though it were obvious, “he wrote, ‘our nature is uncanny, but it’s not so far from you,’. If they were wolves he would’ve said so.”
“Maybe another Kanima?” Allison suggested, “the master looking for his puppet?”
Stiles cuts in, narrowing his eyes on the last verse, “Why would he bold the first and last line of the last clue—these ones,” he places the paper flat on the table. Lydia, the closest to him, leans in as his finger points to the verse. “Heart of the Ocean and the—.”
“Ship of Dreams,” she finishes, voice going low as realization hits her. All eyes turn to her, confusion in their gaze until the name leaves her lips. “Titanic.”
“What?” The question came from Scott, but all were thinking the same. There’s no way she was talking about the most famous shipwreck in history.
“Titanic,” Lydia repeated, this time more confidently. Her own finger came up to point where Stiles' finger had been. “They used to call it the Ship of Dreams.”
“Titanic?” Isaac’s tone was full of doubt. “You mean the ship that sank a century ago?” He couldn’t help but add, “And the movie Leonardo DiCaprio dies in.”
She rolls her eyes, “I don’t recall any other having the same name.”
“The anniversary is coming up,” Derek starts to say, deep in thought like it was all coming together. “It would make sense.”
“Wait—hold on,” Stiles lifts a dramatic hand. “We’re talking about THE Titanic—like Isaac said—that sank a hundred years ago. A hundred,” he repeats to show his point. “Anyone who is alive—even if they were a werewolf or shapeshifter or whatever the hell you want to call it,” he glances at each of them, “would pretty much be on their last breath of life. If this woman were a newborn baby at the time she’d be at least one hundred years old by now.”
In the debate none had noticed Peter moved from the couch to the window. The chuckle leaving his mouth caught their attention. Stiles makes a sound, “I’m sorry, do you wanna share with the class what you obviously know that we’re missing?”
“Our faces are the same,” he says the opening line of the second verse, only drawing confusion and annoyed looks from the others. “As they were the day we changed.” The man pauses, letting it sink in before continuing, “If the woman he’s looking for was on Titanic then she likely was an adult. Considering he turned her, probably by saving her from freezing to death or drowning, and she wears the same face she did the night she was turned…” Peter steps away from the window, now facing the group.
“She’s not aging. At all. Meaning…..she’s immortal.”
The silence following his confession is eerie, eyes flicking over each other to see if they were reacting the same. Immortal. Though the term was familiar it felt almost foreign. Never had they dealt with someone immortal. Unable to die and was walking the Earth acting as though they were human. Now Beacon Hills had two in its possession. They needed to work fast and the riddle only had pieces of the puzzles.
So who—or more like what, was immortal?
"What are you getting to?” Scott narrowed his eyes, Wanting a straightforward answer to what they were dealing with.
Peter clasps his hands behind his back, slowly inching forward,” It’s not shapeshifters you’re looking for.” He takes a step closer, “or a Kanima and its master.” Another step, “or a dark Druid.” Another step brings him right next to Derek, eyes flicking to the paper. “There are few creatures blessed with immortality—or cursed if you look at it another way. But most of them are born with it. Take Gods and fairies for example.”
“Oh my God—those exist?” Stiles feels his mind implode, “Are we about to fight Gods?”
“No,” annoyed at being interrupted Peter rolled his eyes. “I just said those are immortals that are born with their powers. And I don’t know if they exist, I’ve haven’t met one yet. Anyway, this one—.” His finger touches the riddle, “was turned. And likely the person who did was too.”
“So what is it then,” Scott was becoming impatient. And who could blame him really. For all they know it someone was already being drained of their blood at that very moment. “What’s the immortal that’s turned not born?”
“Come one,” he scoffs, like he couldn’t believe they hadn’t figured it out. “Ever wonder why the victims were drained of their blood?” The one question had everyone's face become colorless. “Has Stiles's father not caught on the wounds were made after they were dead?” Why their throat was slashed….but had two little puncture holes on either side?” Peter glances around at every person, catching the nervousness of their gaze as though they already knew what he was about to say but wished it wasn’t.
“The creatures you’re looking for…..are vampires.”
The rest of the night the pack was gathering as much information as they could about the passengers aboard Titanic—all 2,240 of them—while also trying to figure out any other clues within the riddle. They still couldn’t believe it was a vampire responsible for the murders. And that he was hunting someone he created who, still to their shock, was a passenger aboard Titanic.
And with 2,240 people on the ship during its ill fated maiden voyage…they were in for a long night.
“Okay so we know they’re vampires—our killer is the one who turned the woman he’s searching for into a vampire. She was on Titanic when it sank meaning—,” Stiles wrote furiously across the notepad, the riddle next right beside it. “He was on it too. Now we could narrow this down several ways. Either by searching through the passengers class or going through who survived because as Lydia pointed out,” the hand holding the pen points to the redhead, “RMS Carpathia recorded the names of the survivors before they reached New York.”
Either method was good, but there was a problem with the latter. As Allison pointed out, “but what if they never knew she was there? I mean having a newly turned vampire on a ship filled with people is a recipe for disaster.”
Derek nods, agreeing with her, “Her eyes would’ve made it obvious.”
“How so?” Asked Isaac.
Peter is the one to explain, “Vampires in our world are different from what you see on TV. They aren’t these pale, corpse-like, individuals who look like they belong in the morgue. They’re rather human-like if they’re equipped with a special glimmer that allows them to come off as mortal.”
“Glimmer?” Lydia raised a brow, finding the word a bit comical given the creature they were dealing with.
“We’ll get to that. But any vampire who’s newly turned will have red eyes—blood red eyes.”
“How fitting,” Stiles couldn’t help but groan. “So what, are you saying she’s likely wearing contacts to hide her eyes.”
“Possibly,” Peter hums with a shrug, “wouldn’t be surprised if she is. This day in age makes it easier for vampires to conceal their nature. But considering our little vampire was turned in 1912…her creator probably hid her on the Carpathia—or as outrageous as it sounds, swam her across the remainder of the Atlantic ocean.”
Derek closes the book in front of him, detailing the events of the RMS Carpathia rescue of Titanic’s passengers. “However he saved her can wait,” he leans his hands onto the table, “We need to figure out the last clue of this riddle.” Moving the riddle to him, Derek reads, “Wearing the Heart of the Ocean, she’s closer than it seems.”
Lydia bites her lip, typing away on her laptop. “If I didn’t know it any better…it sounds like he’s trying to reference a piece of jewelry. Probably a necklace or something.”
Peter rubs his jaw deep in thought, “That could be the source of her glimmer.”
“The necklace?” Stiles wonders aloud.
“Usually most vampires would prefer a ring or bracelet,” he waves a hand, “It’s small and concealable. Very easy for a Druid to enchant the item and allow the vampire to give off the effect to other supernatural beings they’re human. Prevents them from being obliterated by the sun. That’s their glimmer. Sealed within the jewelry to act as a camouflage. So long as they have it on,” he shrugs lightly, “you’d never know what they truly are.”
“And she’s been passing off as a human in Beacon Hills. For God knows how long,” Lydia opens a separate browser, hands hovering over the keyboard. “If her necklace has a name like Heart of the Ocean it shouldn’t be too hard to find. We find the Heart of the Ocean, we find her.” Her words have Allison come over beside her, realization crossing her face.
“Isn’t that the name of the necklace Rose wore in the movie?” Right as she finished her sentence, the image popped up on the screen of said necklace after Lydia typed the name into Google. “So it was real after all?”
“Appears to be,” Lydia was just as amazed. Stiles leans over her other side, eyes bulging at the sight of the large blue heart-shaped diamond surrounded by tiny little white ones.
“That’s gotta be worth a billion dollars.”
“350 million to be exact,” Lydia reads off. At least today it is. Back then it was worth probably not even a quarter of that price—but still big for its time.”
“So…” Isaac taps his finger to his mouth, glaring up at the ceiling from where he was seated, legs perched on the table. “We’re looking for a vampire—probably at least 120 give or take a few years—who is passing off as human because of a magic necklace worth more than our entire lives. Wonderful.”
Scott takes a glance, letting out a whistle, “That had to have belonged to a first-class passenger. I’d say we start there.”
“On it,” Lydia begins to search records of the names aboard Titanic with First-class tickets. While she’s doing that the pack gathers to the makeshift board Stiles had created, adding notes to it as they go.
Stiles tapes the new information on the necklace to next to the verse on the copy of the riddle they made. “Heart of the Ocean a.k.a the magic necklace making the vampire appear human. To be honest, if someone were wearing a necklace that extravagant in Beacon Hills it’d be noticeable.”
Scott agreed, “She’s probably keeping it under her clothes. I mean I would. Lydia, did you find anything on who it belonged to?”
The redhead makes a huff, “from what the article says,” she clicks on a link, “it belonged to American socialite Y/n L/n as a gift from her husband Theodore Ford on their wedding day. He had it custom made overseas on a trip to France.” Lydia’s eyes widened at the next line, “She was the niece of John Rockefeller and he was the nephew of Henry Ford.”
“Good God,” Stiles made a sound, many of the others showing a similar reaction. “What a match made in heaven…and money.”
“Great,” Peter plops onto the couch, “our vampire was a once billionaire socialite—well maybe not billionaire. That’s a far reach. Since she was only the niece of Rockefeller and her hubby was a Ford she probably only had a snippet of their families fortune.” The man rolls his neck, hands clasped on his lap with his legs kicked up. “She shouldn’t be too hard to find then. All we need is a picture.”
Derek gives his uncle an annoyed look, “We don’t if it’s her or not. Maybe the necklace was stolen by her creator and that’s how she got it.”
“What else does it say?” Allison turns her attention back to her best friend. In her head she couldn’t help but feel there was something missing. That they were so close to the answer.
Lydia continues on, “It says here that they married in 1901–Y/n aged nineteen and Theodore aged twenty-one. They had a son, Benjamin, born 1905 and Theodore died six years later in 1911 from a car accident.” She scrolls down a bit, brows furrowing a tad and makes a sound of ‘eureka!’ “Y/n was gifted two First-Class tickets for her and her son aboard Titanic by her uncle John Rockefeller. They boarded the ship during Titanic’s first stop to Cherbough, France….survivors of Titanic recall last seeing Y/n place her son Benjamin into a lifeboat before being denied entry since it had reached maximum capacity,” a feeling of heartbreak fills the redhead, soon followed by defeat as she reads “It is believed Y/n L/n drowned as the ship submerged beneath the surface on April 15, 1912, as her body was never recovered as one to have perished from hypothermia in the freezing waters. Nor was she listed on the records of survivors on RMS Carpathia. Her son Benjamin was soon taken in by her mother where he remained in New York City until his sudden death in 1918 by influenza.”
A moment of silence passes as they take in the information. For Allison and Lydia, they couldn’t help the sadness for the woman they didn’t even know. To have to say goodbye to your child, likely promising them you’d get on the next boat and would be reunited shortly, only to never see them again.
The redhead suddenly straightens her posture.
“What is it?” Scott hears her heartbeat quicken. Worry takes his features when Lydia appears as if she saw a ghost. Everyone else looks the same when she brings a hand to her mouth. “Lydia?” There’s a slight tremor in her hand when she pulls it away.
“She’s closer than it seems.” She whispers the line from the final verse. Tone filled with near distraught.
Allison takes a hesitant step forward. From where they were all standing they could also see the light of the screen hitting Lydia’s complexion. Whatever was on it was hidden from their view. “Lydia…”
“I-I thought it meant that by finding the Heart of the Ocean we’d be able to spot whoever was wearing it. That we’d have to maybe knock on every door in Beacon Hills until we find whoever is hiding it—as stupid as that sounds. Because who in their right mind if they knew they were being hunted would just hide in plain sight? But….” her breath picks up, slight horror and astonishment as she stares back at the screen. “He knows where she is—h-he wants us to find her, because she can lead us to him.”
“Lydia….” Stiles slowly draws closer to her. Peter moves to stand from the couch, expression unreadable as was Derek’s.
But Lydia’s eyes never move from the screen. “The riddle—it was just his game. He knows exactly where she is. He has to. Because she’s been under our nose all along—closer than we could’ve imagined.” Finally the redhead looks up to the anxious eyes of everyone, revealing the shocking truth with the slow turn of the laptop.
“She boarded Titanic as Y/n L/n,” the screen shows a sepia image causing Allison to gasp, Isaac to mutter ‘holy shit’, Stiles to drop his marker, and Scott to feel his stomach drop. Derek and Peter shared a look, Derek more anxious than his uncle. “But she’s been living as Loretta Andrews.”
There on the screen, listed as the socialite Y/n L/n and wearing the jaw-dropping necklace called the Heart of the Ocean, was a woman whose face the teenagers had seen every Monday to Friday for the last three months. Who looked no older than the age of 30 like in the picture and had arrived in Beacon Hills shortly before the spring semester.
Their English teacher, Loretta Andrews.

Tumblr media
You are finding it hard to believe in the power of a fresh start. Everyone phrased it that way when it was first announced that you would be completely wrecking your old life to move to a town in the middle of Nowheresville, California, but you saw through it from the start. This would not be a wonderful chance to reinvent yourself, nor a blessed opportunity for trying again. This would be awful, and nothing about Beacon Hills could change that.
You already did your time of starting from scratch in a classroom you didn’t recognize back home. Home is not Beacon Hills, home is where you were born, where people knew you from kindergarten through your teenage years. Beacon Hills only has claim to you for the few years you have left in high school, and after that, you’re moving back to your hometown. So you’ve promised yourself, at least.
However, Beacon Hills doesn’t like it when its pawns and pieces get minds of their own. The only way people leave this town is through death, either theirs or that of someone they love. You don’t know that now, but you’ll learn it soon enough. It’s a lesson of inevitability for anyone daring enough to live in a supernatural hot spot even half the strength of this godforsaken town.
Death has not darkened your doorstep, however, and you go to your first day of school with only the apprehension of wondering if you’ll find enough friends to make this town worth your while. The students seem pretty friendly when they’re not judging you behind three ring binders or over locker doors, but what else is new? Beacon Hills High School is still a high school, and that means it can only be so great when you’re not one of its usual crew.
It’s a good thing, then, that you managed to stumble upon people who would embrace you with open arms. You met Scott McCall first when both of you were paired together for a chemistry lab, then Stiles second in a math class. After that, it was almost inevitable that you would join the rest of their group, their pack. If you can win over Scott and Stiles, you’re guaranteed to fit right in.
It’s nice being with the McCall crew. They watch each other’s backs, they stand up for themselves, anything you could want in a friend group. It takes them a while to trust you long enough to share exactly why that is, but even afterwards, it only solidifies the bond you have with the rest of them. Their world is strange and utterly confusing, but they’ve managed to navigate it together so far, and now that together includes you as well.
It would be perfect were it not for the presence of one person in that group. No one can understand why it is that you and Lydia Martin cannot get along, but the facts remain just as solid as always. Every time you and Lydia cross paths, you can’t escape without at least a few angry comments exchanged. Terse words are a must, and sarcastic retorts are a necessity. There’s no way kindness can prosper if the two of you have to work together.
It makes no sense. You and Lydia should be the closest here of anybody, with the exception of Scott and Stiles. Both of you are clever, among the smartest in your classes; both of you like being right, especially when it saves the lives of your friends. Malia and the rest have told you about a thousand times over that you guys could talk about so much if you would just talk to each other at all.
That, however, seems to be far easier to say than to do. Lydia won’t let you get in a word unless she’s got the upper hand, and you’re no better. You’re not talking unless you’re sniping at each other, and that’s hardly talking at all.
You’re not going to act like it totally ruins your friendship with the rest of the McCall pack, only that it’s frustrating you’ll never be able to win over the full set. You don’t need Lydia Martin to love you, though, she just has to tolerate your presence long enough to save your life if necessary, and she does that just fine.
Too fine, actually. Scott gets it into his head that you should all split up to stake out potential hunter territory to see if they’re planning something big. Seeing as you’re still new to the whole hunter/supernatural deal, you’ll have to have someone there with you to keep you alive if your cover is blown, and of all the people to watch your back, he chooses Lydia.
You tried to fight that choice as much as possible. If you have to be stuck in the dark of night with someone for an extended period of time, wouldn’t it be better if it was a person you could actually stand? Anyone else would be just fine by you. Even Theo Raeken, and the guy’s literally tried to kill everyone about half a dozen times.
Scott disagrees, though, citing this as the perfect chance for you and Lydia to finally mend some bridges instead of burning them. You may think he’s insane, but Scott’s word is law, mostly because he’s the most capable of making reasonable decisions of all of you.
This may be true, but it doesn’t mean you have to like it. You roll up to the stakeout with expectations on the ground, and when Lydia greets you with an eye roll, the bar descends even lower than expected. You’ll both be sitting in her car and waiting for something to happen, and all you can think is that three hours cannot pass quickly enough.
Lydia chuckles derisively when you climb into her car. Evidently you’re not as good at concealing your disdain for this evening as you’d like to think. “You might want to work on your poker face, sweetheart. You’re looking a little unhappy.”
“Wonder why that is,” you say, settling into your seat with great reluctance, “it’s not like I’m stuck in a car for hours with someone who hates me. Oh wait, I am.”
Lydia frowns. “I don’t hate you.”
You scoff. “Of course you do. We pick fights every time we talk. You’re even arguing with me now about how much we dislike each other.”
Lydia goes silent for a second, then:  “I don’t want anyone to think I hate them. Unless they deserve it, of course.”
“I haven’t killed you or our friends yet,” you remark, “isn’t that enough for me to not deserve it?”
“It should be,” Lydia replies hesitantly.
Yet it isn’t, which is what she isn’t saying. You exhale, irritated, and turn your attention back towards the house outside, you know, like you were supposed to be doing all this time. The sun sets and disappears beneath the horizon, and once the stars have bothered to take their place, Lydia speaks again.
“It is.”
You look at her, confused. “What is?”
Lydia gestures vaguely at you. “What you said earlier. What you’ve done isn’t enough for me to hate you.”
“Then why do you?” You ask slowly.
Lydia tosses you an affronted look. “I don’t, but you seem so determined to dislike me that you think I do anyway.”
Your hackles are rising again, and you feel yourself rushing to counter what she’d just said. “Only because you never give me a chance to do anything else!”
Lydia groans. “See, this is exactly what I mean. Neither of us can say anything without the other taking it as an insult.”
You pause for a second, and when you speak again, your words are calm and cautious. “What about a truce, then?”
Lydia nods. “I’d like a truce.”
She holds out a hand to you and you shake it with as much solemnity as you can muster. It’s awkward for a while after that, both of you apparently unable to come up with things to say that aren’t direct insults, but slowly the conversation comes and then you’re finding connections between each other you never knew existed in the first place.
In fact, by the time your phone vibrates with the alarm you’d set to mark the end of the stakeout, you find that you’re almost disappointed to leave the car. Lydia must feel the same way, because she only lets you go with a promise to meet up later to talk. For real, this time. Truce continued without the forced proximity of a stakeout.
You end up meeting Lydia later that week for coffee, then two days later for a study session, then again for a review of your favorite fashion house’s spring collection. The meetups seem to follow each other in waves, no one ever enough to make you tired of her company. If anything, it only makes you want it more.
You never really considered what the others must think about the abrupt 180 in your interactions with Lydia until you’re at a pack meeting about a month later and Malia confronts you about it.
The meeting is over, and just as you’re letting down your guard and pulling on your coat, Malia calls something out to you in typical no-nonsense Malia fashion.
“So,” she says with unimaginable confidence, “how long have you and Lydia been dating?”
You feel every bit of air leave your lungs, and it takes a few seconds for you to recover enough to sputter out, “What?”
Malia spreads her hands. “How long have you been dating? You guys are together all the time. When did you first get together?”
Across the room, Lydia looks as if she’s just been shot. “We’re not dating, Malia.”
Malia frowns. “What do you mean? Of course you are.”
She looks as if she’d like to spend at least a few minutes more explaining all the ways you’re totally in a relationship with Lydia when Scott gently but firmly guides her by the arm out of the room. He winces over his shoulder as he goes, mouthing something like sorry about that and I’ll talk to her about it, I swear.
You and Lydia are left staring at each other in complete shock. “Crazy mixup she had there, isn’t it?” Lydia asks faintly. “I mean, who could have even thought…”
You shrug weakly. “I mean, is it really such a leap? We go places together without anyone else all the time. We have inside jokes. You have my contact saved in your phone with a heart next to the name.”
Lydia shakes her head. “That’s just because it’s your favorite color. There was no other shape with it. You know that.”
When you stare at her for a moment longer, her eyes clear. “Oh, I see how that could look to someone who wasn’t there.”
“What if she wasn’t entirely wrong?” You ask as casually as you can, “you know, it does look like we’re dating. We might as well just go ahead and make it official.”
Lydia blinks in surprise, then: “Y/N L/N, are you asking me out?”
It takes everything in you to not turn and run. “Are you saying yes?”
Lydia laughs. “Yes, I think I am.”
You think you might owe Malia a favor after this. Intentional or not, she finally managed to get you and Lydia together. That’s at least worth saving her life a couple of times.

oo! I was just unsure of how you could do it for some of the characters but I trust you to come up with good scenarios, you’re always very creative with them.
So, could I ask for how you think teen wolf characters Stiles, Isaac, Lydia, & Derek would react to finding out reader is pregnant? (could be with their baby, or however else you think up bc ofc Lydia can’t get anyone pregnant 😂)
And no you are not alone. I really like pregnancy and baby fics, which is why I was wondering, but I was still a bit worried you weren’t up for it for this particular fandom! It’s very fun to read about having an imaginary family with my fav characters and the variety of diff scenarios that could lead to it.
'I'm sure you could come up with something good' - and the first time I read this message, I came up with something delightfully insane for Lydia. so strap in omg
I am also glad that I'm not the only one who likes pregnancy and kid fics!!! I think they are so much fun because it has elements of drama and fluff and caring. It's such a nice soup of emotions. I really hope you like what I have done here.
Teen Wolf requests are OPEN. Please read my Rules before requesting!
How would the pack react to finding out that you're pregnant with their baby?
Included: Stiles Stilinski, Isaac Lahey, Lydia Martin, and Derek Hale.
Warnings: usually I do GN readers for reactions but this one called for fem!reader - the reader uses she/her pronouns and has a vagina (and has the ability to get pregnant); in Lydia's section, the reader is a werewolf; mentions of the reader having typical pregnancy symptoms; sexual themes (baby making - duh), some sentences that could be considered smutty?; I think Isaac's part is the longest because we know I have a fucking soft spot for him; mentions of unprotected sex (again - duh); mentions of the abuse Isaac experienced from his father (not detailed); umm idk what else - generally mature themes? But no major warnings other than that.
Tumblr media
Stiles would freeze up. He would be so unsure how to react to the information that for a while, he wouldn't react at all.
When the words came out of your mouth, he thought he had misheard you.
"Stiles, I - I'm pregnant."
"What?" He gaped in response.
"I'm pregnant." You affirmed gently.
He sat there, frozen with shock, and didn't say anything for a long time.
He was overwhelmed with too many thoughts and emotions. He wanted to be happy, but he felt like he wasn't ready for this. But he also wasn't ready for half the things that had happened to him in life so far - being kidnapped (more than once), having friends die or nearly die around him, being possessed by a thousand year old demon and fighting to be freed.
This was good, right?
It was you. He wanted you, he wanted everything that came with a life with you.
But it was so soon.
His dad was going to kill him.
"Stiles, say something, please-" You begged quietly, and when your eyes began to brim with tears, that broke him free from his horrible shock.
He couldn't stand to see you hurt. He jumped off the bed and swept you into a hug, holding you tight. Instinctively, you squeezed him back, seeking the comfort that always came from his touch.
"Hey, hey, I'm sorry." He said, whispering into your neck. "I'm sorry, I know this is bad-"
"You think it's bad?" You posed in return, misconstruing his words. "So - so you don't want to keep it?"
His heart shook in his chest.
Of all the things he had been thinking, that was not one of them.
"No." He said sharply, pulling away from the hug to get a good look at your tearful face. Your features were still twisted with pain, and he absolutely hated it. "I just - I just meant that you're upset, and that's bad."
"Well - what about the pregnancy part?" You asked urgently. "What do you think about that part?"
"It's scary as hell." He answered honestly. Your lip quivered, and he rushed to say more. "But for once in my life, I think it's the good kind of scary, like - like roller coasters or scary movies where you know nobody actually gets hurt, or - or spicy hot wings." He rambled on. "I'm terrified, but I think this is gonna be amazing. There's nobody else that I'd rather have a baby with than you."
Saying the word 'baby' out loud made it all terribly real.
You gave him a wet, tearful smile, and then pulled him into a kiss.
Tumblr media
Isaac would be upset and insecure.
After you told him, Isaac ran - he ditched out of your bedroom window, leaving you alone and tearful, and after you spent days in bed sobbing (your sadness likely multiplied by the pregnancy hormones), you would be determined to track him down. Even if he didn't agree to be a father, even if he didn't own up to it, at the very least, you needed to finish the conversation you had started. You needed closure - the end of the relationship, if that's what he wanted.
After days of him dodging you, you finally managed to catch him at Derek's loft. It was clear that he wanted to run again, but Derek's words about owning up to his responsibilities were ringing in his ears, and he decided that at the very least, he owed you an explanation. He would give you the conversation you so desperately wanted.
"What the fuck, Isaac?" You barked at him, tears edging in your eyes again at seeing him for the first time in a week. "What the hell is wrong with you? I-"
"You really want me to run down that fucking laundry list now?" He snapped, more bitter and rage fuelled than you had ever seen him. His voice caused chills down your spine. "Because I'm surprised it's taken you this long to notice one thing, let alone half of it!"
This was not the man who you had fallen in love with. This wasn't your sweet, loving Isaac. This wasn't the man who had taken you to bed, kissed over every inch of your body, made you so ripe with passion that something like a condom felt insignificant compared to the cosmos you saw in his eyes as he pushed his cock inside of you.
"Isaac, what are you talking about?" You asked, your voice small, barely edging above a whisper as you stared him down carefully, searching through his eyes - wondering if everything before this had just been an act to get you into bed.
All you saw boiling up inside of him was hurt, and it made you ache too.
"I don't expect you to know." He sighed fitfully, shaking his head.
You put a hand over your stomach, a protective instinct, and his gaze focused there. Regret splashed up inside of him, and he couldn't contain his next words.
"When you told me you were pregnant, did you expect the fucking sun to shine down and angels to sing and some fucking - Hallmark bullshit?" He questioned, clearly jaded.
You hadn't expected that, but you hadn't expected him to run away. Part of you expected him to be happy.
"I can't be happy about this." He told you, almost as if reading your mind. "I have shitty, horrible DNA. I'm a monster, Y/N." You gave him a puzzled look, and he continued. "I'm not talking about the werewolf thing - my father was a horrible person. You know that. I can't be around a kid. I can't have a baby. I can't risk it."
He said the last part softly, that terrible regret lacing his voice, and suddenly, in that moment, it all became crystal clear to you. He thought his father's abusive ways would be hereditary.
Your chest clenched with a horrible pain, and you wandered across the room toward him, and instinctively, he backed away from you.
"Don't." He said, continuing to eye your stomach sharply. You realized now that he thought he was protecting your baby by staying away from it, staying away from you.
You inched toward him again, this time managing to snag his hand, which you brought to place flat on your stomach. You were early in your pregnancy, not showing (your stomach not any different than it normally would be) - but something wolfish inside of him flared with protectiveness, something could sense that different thing about you. It was subtle, but he could feel and hear another heartbeat under his palm. He wanted to run again, but feeling this, being so close - it caused him to relax against you, instinctively wrapping his other arm around your shoulders and pulling you close.
"Isaac, you're nothing like your father." You told him quietly. "You're not going to hurt our baby-"
"But what if I do?" He argued, his voice cracking with fear.
"You won't." You assured him. "We both know that you won't."
Tumblr media
Lydia would be shocked - in denial. Because - what the fuck is happening? This shouldn't be scientifically possible, right? Right?
At first, she was convinced that you cheated on her. She freaked out about that. She screamed at you, threw things. You cried because you hated that she was accusing you of such a horrible crime, even if you understood why (to an extent). She shouldn't be able to get you pregnant, so it was perfectly sane to think that you had cheated on her with a guy during the course of your relationship - even though you hadn't. This was crazy. This shouldn't be possible.
When you had first started feeling the symptoms - the nausea, the irritability, the generally off feeling, something that kept nagging at you and had all of your senses on edge, you hadn't even thought to take a pregnancy test. Even when you missed your period, you assumed that it was stress, not eating right... a laundry list of other things before you would have assumed this.
But then - Derek pulled you aside and asked why you smelled like that. He said the only other time he had smelled it was when he was much younger - before the fire, when one of his aunts was pregnant. You told him that it wasn't possible, and he told you that his nose never lied.
So - driven crazy by the thought, and believing it to be impossible, you peed on the stupid little stick. And then another, and then another, entirely in disbelief. And when you dumped a bunch of pee covered sticks onto Scott's Mom's kitchen counter, much to her horror, asking her if there was any way they could be wrong. She told you it was unlikely, but took you to the hospital to get you a blood test, and when it came back positive, she asked you who the father was.
She gave you that same fish-gaped mouth when you told her.
"Lydia." You sighed. "Lydia is the father. She's the only person I've ever had sex with."
And this left you and Lydia in Derek's kitchen with him and Stiles, with your positive blood test sitting in the middle of the counter, Stiles pouring over every book he could find on the subject - all of you irritably confused.
"How?" Lydia gaped, still in shock. "How?"
"I don't know." Derek shrugged. "You tell me."
"And - and you didn't cheat on me?" Lydia asked you, still believing this to be the most logical answer.
"Yes." Derek answered, cutting you off. "She's not lying. That much I can tell you."
You were glad that he backed you up on this, but it still left everyone confused and searching for answers.
"Look, okay, Lydia - you survived the Alpha bite, you have some weird immunity." Stiles said, pausing between his frantic page flipping. "Maybe... this is what happens when you have sex with a werewolf?"
Lydia scoffed and you hid your face in your hands with embarrassment. You wondered if it had something to do with the full moon. The last time - you had been so full of energy, pulsing with power as the moon came to its fullness overhead, and you had pinned her down, spent hours rubbing your cunt raw against hers. But you never thought that anything the two of you did could result in a pregnancy.
"Maybe it would help if you tell me exactly what you two did?" Stiles suggested - he was thinking of it from a theoretical, scientific standpoint, not realizing how perverted this sounded until after it left his lips.
"Really?!" Lydia glared at him.
You picked up a nearby vase and threw it at him without hesitation, and he dodged it, causing it to smash against the wall behind his head, disintegrating into dust.
"Okay, bad idea!"
"Just shut up and keep reading."
Tumblr media
Derek would be intensely protective. From the second the words came out of your mouth, the entire axis of his world shifted. Everything became about you and protecting you and your unborn baby.
"Derek, I think I'm pregnant."
Everything suddenly made sense. The change in your scent, the odd way you had been acting, the fact that you had been sick recently.
He couldn't contain the deep, feral growl he let out - the way his eyes lit up as the news fully overtook him. The flash of red made you mistake him as angry, and your entire body sagged.
"Look, I'm sorry, but this isn't just my fault-" You hissed sharply at him, and he cut you off by sealing his lips over your own, smothering you in an intense, hot, confusing kiss.
Of course he knew that it wasn't 'just your fault'. The two of you had sex plenty of times, but if he wasn't mistaken, he remembered the night vividly well-
You thought it would be funny to tease him by tempting him with a chase through the woods, and it ended with you stomach down in a clearing, your cheek pressed against the dirt while he fucked into you roughly from behind, growling warnings in your ear, telling you not to tease him again. (Which only made you want to do it again, and again.)
"Don't be sorry, moonflower." He mumbled against your lips, using his nickname for you. "Don't ever be sorry about this."
The passion that overtook his voice sent chills down your spine. You were speechless.
"Derek?" You questioned, a quiet chirp that almost died off in your throat.
"From now on, you don't leave my sight, do you understand me?" He said, gently running his knuckles across your face, as sweet and soothing as you had ever seen him.
Before, he had been subtle in his protection of you. Reaching over to snap on your seatbelt before you could do it yourself, always putting an arm around you, especially in the face of danger, making sure that he walked in front of you if thought there might be a threat around. He had never been this outright passionate about his protection of you before.
But he would never risk the life of his unborn child - he would never let anybody come between him and the woman who was going to mother that child. It was a sacred bond now.
"Yes, of course." You couldn't help but to agree.
Then, Derek surprised you when he knelt down in front of you, placing his forehead on your stomach and gently closing his eyes as if partaking in the solitude of prayer. Which, he was - uttering silent promises to your unborn child, worshipping at the altar of the powerful, beautiful woman who was going to bring that baby into this world.
It left you speechless once again, and all you could do was run your fingers through his hair, further adding to his peace.

Diner Talks - Teen Wolf Preference
Tumblr media
Fandom: Teen Wolf
Idea and inspiration from my ever beloved @adarkroomandawallflower 🖤(Of course Theo's is longest...)
Following the ever-present supernatural happenings in your lives, it became a small tradition between you to, when all is said and done with the latest crisis of Beacon Hills, go down to the diner at the edge of town and unwind. A sigh of relief and good enough food that never changes, and just talk.
They're open 24/7, and you've learned you can say anything without the cook or single waitress giving a damn, from school problems to supernaturals, neither had bat an eye or paid you any mind. They have their own nights to get through, something you've really grown to appreciate and respect, they've never ratted on anything that might have past their ears.
Scott McCall: It was late when everyone called it case-closed and dispersed back to their homes after the last big bad was run out of Beacon Hills, Scott was giving you a ride home on his motorcycle when it started to pour.
Instead of going to the other side of town in blinding rain that may not have been natural, he ducked towards the only lit up building, a neon sign with an awning he could tuck his bike under, and you shared milkshakes and fries, chatting happily in the warm light and ignoring the strange figure standing across the lot.
Stiles Stilinski: The town was once again saved, everyone you loved was more or less in once piece and you were almost asleep in the passenger seat until Stiles' steady tapping a rhythm on his steering wheel changed into a sharp turn into the entrance to a diner woke you wondering if something was wrong.
He let out a whoop and fist pumped pulling into the empty row in front and you took in the place, flickering neon sign you've never paid attention to before as he was already at your door opening it for you.
He remembers when he was little and his dad would take him to eat here after a long case was finally finished, they would both get a greasy burger and greasier fries and Noah would humor some of his questions about work while urging him to eat instead.
They hadn't done this in years, not really. But now you sit across from him in the booth with greasy food served by the same cigarette smokey waitress and talk about your own cases and a little nostalgia always gets him.
Allison Argent: You first took her to eat at the diner not long after she had moved to Beacon Hills, she was unsure if the place was even there as you drove to the very edge of town. And it was completely deserted without being that late, but she followed you in, she's the new one here afterall.
When she learned about werewolves and hunters and everything else she had to tell you as soon as possible and told you to meet her at the diner immediately. She had your order waiting when you got there and was barely holding it in while you slid in across from her before spilling everything she knew and just found out before realizing, you already know about this.
Now anytime there's something new or big to discuss you end up back at the diner, talking a little too loud for such a topic pouring over new knowledge and old texts together.
Theo Raeken: It had been a long day. Both you and Theo (and hell, half the pack) were roughed up and exhausted, nearly dying before the latest big shot was run out of town, and you were starving.
And you voiced as much to Theo, who was about to say there's not much he can do about that at two in the morning, before spotting the only damn place lit up at this hour. He pulled in and huffed a laugh that yeah, it was really open.
He puts his jacket over your shoulders before you slide into the booth and takes the spot across from you, watching your gaze hungrily scan the menu and just adding "same here" once you order.
It's a sigh of relief while you lean back and wait for your food, giving him a crooked little smile while your foot bumps his leg. There's an ache from his wounds still and a scuff of dirt on your face and he wants to get you back in his truck and drive. Away from Beacon Hills and all its' trials, from the memories of hell and the pack he swears he doesn't care for.
It's tradition now, to come to eat at the diner on the edge of town, no matter how late, always lit and empty, as if waiting for you both. You take the same booth and Theo always takes whatever you order too, and he says how you can leave together. Leave everything in this town behind and it'd be okay, but you notice how less serious he sounds about it now. As he comes to accept his fate of caring about the pack and becoming attached to this town, a passing comment of the night before lacing his fingers with yours and heading home instead of a wistful glance to his truck and pleading tone.
Lydia Martin: The only one who starts this out as a normal date. Despite her expensive tastes and higher class lifestyle, she took you out to the 'cute little diner' for a tame date one night when you seemed like you needed a little time to just get away.
Though she usually would've just booked you both a spa day, she knows you well enough that you'd enjoy this little place. Rolling her eyes when you look so surprised that this is where she took you.
Unsuspectedly enjoyed the meal and just getting to talk with you here that it became your go-to whenever things became a bit much, especially after the supernatural aspect took over your lives.
Isaac Lahey: You would take him here when you were able to sneak him out after his dad had been in especially fine form. A quiet place where no one would ask or bat an eye, despite how worried he was at first.
Just a place far away from everything and a hot meal and too-large milkshake to share, always getting one with two straws because you knew he loved that in cheesy movies.
And after he became a werewolf and everyone was so busy you realized how long it'd been since you went to the diner, especially since there was nothing to stop you anymore. Now you go after every pack problem, and despite the higher stakes he's much more lighthearted on these late nights.

Lydia x Brother!reader - trust you
Tumblr media
Lydia Martin X Brother!Reader (if ok? If not, could I request it be sibling!reader instead please?) Who has ADHD and has an interest in supernatural creatures, and Lydia has always gone to him for advice on any new threats, but when R is attacked by a monster Lydia is both worried and feeling guilty for not telling R about the supernatural world being real, but assures R that her and the pack have his back? Sorry for it being long! - Anon💜
Sitting in your room, you tapped your pen against the book in front of you as you scrolled through the webpage on your computer.
You were noting things down about druids, a current fascination of yours.
You were curious about supernatural creatures, you didn’t care that they were myths, you simply just loved learning about them, the lore behind them.
And right now you were down the rabbit hole of druids and the lore behind them, there was is much to read and learn, you hadn’t realised you had been at it nearly all day until your sister came in.
“I have a question about banshees.”
You blinked, shaking your head a little as you looked up at your sister, turning your chair around to look at you properly as you kicked your feet up on the desk.
“Go for it Lydia.”
“Well, what exactly do they do?”
“I suppose it depends on the country and the lore, some say they can predict death, when they sense or know someone is close to death the scream. It can be said that if you hear a banshee scream, you or someone close to you will die soon.”
She nodded her head, asking a few more follow up questions.
You happily answered them all, unaware of her muted phone in her pocket with the rest of her friends listening to the conversation.
When she seemed happy with everything, she smiled at you and stood up, hugging you lightly.
“Thank you!”
“Welcome, but you’ve reminded me I haven’t eaten all day so I’m going to grab some food, want anything?”
“Oh can you bring me some rice from that really nice place you go to?”
“Absolutely!”
You jumped up and tossed a hoodie on, pulling some shoes on and left your room only to go back to grab your car keys and leave.
Lydia had left just before you so you locked up the house and began to drive across the town to your favourite takeaway.
Tapping your fingers on the steering wheel, you glanced in your rear view mirror for a split second, and when you looked to the road again you slammed on your breaks.
Your car screeched to a halt and you quickly jumped out, rushing forward to make sure you hadn’t hit the person who just appeared in the middle of the road.
“Are you insane?!” You yelled.
You walked around the front of your car and furrowed your brows a little, looking around.
There was no one there, but you were sure that you had seen someone.
So, you did one last check and turned around, and the last thing you remembered was glowing blue eyes.
It was Noah who found you, he had a report of a car abandoned in the middle of the street, and he went to investigate and he just happened to see you in the edge of his headlights.
You were rushed to the hospital and into surgery, and he immediately called Stiles to tell your sister.
The whole pack were at the hospital, Stiles, Scott, Derek, Peter, Alison, Lydia, Noah and Melissa who had just finished her shift.
“Oh god.. we.. I.. I should’ve told him…” Lydia sobbed.
“You were trying to protect him..” Scott whispered.
“And now he’s dying!” Lydia snapped.
“Hey, hey he’s not dying. They said he’s doing really well, just another hour at most until they’re done.” Melissa said.
Lydia kept blaming herself and they did everything they could to try and reassure her.
At her request, one of the werewolves stayed with you at all times to keep you safe, mostly Derek or Peter.
And a few days later you woke up, in pain and groggy.
“Well hey.”
You looked to your side, brows furrowed a little.
“Mrs… McCall…?”
“Give me a second alright, don’t move.”
You gave a small nod and she did some checks on you before helping you slowly sit up and rested you against the pillows.
“The sheriff is actually outside, do you mind answering a few questions for him?”
You weakly shook your head and she brought him in.
“Can you tell me what happened that night?” He asked.
You opened your mouth and closed it again.
“I… glowing..”
“Glowing?” He asked.
“Glowing.. eyes…”
The two adults shared a look and nodded to you, and you told them what you could remember which wasn’t much.
Melissa left to call your sister and parents, and Noah stayed with you, sitting on the end of your bed helping you ease your nerves by talking to you.
You had to stay in hospital for another week and you were finally allowed to go home.
You didn’t leave your room much, you stayed inside it, and it’s what you were doing now, standing in front of your mirrored wardrobe staring at your bare chest, the deep, jagged, pink scars going across it.
There was a knock on your door, and you looked towards it to see Lydia walking in.
“Do they still hurt…?” She asked quietly.
You shrugged a tiny bit.
“A little I guess.”
Grabbing your hoodie you tossed it on, and turned to look at her.
She had tears in her eyes.
“Lydia… come here.”
You walked over and hugged her tightly, and she sobbed.
“It’s all my fault!”
“You didn’t hurt me, it’s not your fault.”
“No! No I should’ve told you straight away!”
You pulled away and frowned at her.
“It’s why I was asking all those questions! Why I come to you asking weird questions because I know you know the answers!” She sobbed.
You placed a hand on her shoulder.
“Hey, hey tell me what’s going on? Why’re you blaming yourself?”
Lydia took a small breath and wiped her eyes.
“They’re real…”
You looked at her confused.
“Supernatural creatures are real…”
“Lydia you’re my sister, I love you most of the time, but did you hit your head.”
“No! I’m telling the truth! Just.. come with me.”
She grabbed your arm and dragged you to her car, and she drove you to a building you didn’t recognise.
She dragged you inside and you saw all her friends were stood waiting.
“Show him.” She said.
“Are you sure?” Derek asked.
“Show him please.”
They shared a look but nodded, Scott, Derek and Peter stood forward and you watched in horror as their eyes changed, faces changed.
Yellow, blue and red all staring at you, and you stumbled back into the door, dragging Lydia behind you.
You put yourself between them and her.
“They’re okay! They won’t hurt you!”
She slowly took you to the couch and they explained everything to you, and you were having a hard time processing it all.
But you just nodded along.
“So.. you’re all supernatural creatures…?”
“Me and Stiles aren’t.” Alison said.
You turned to Lydia.
“You’re… like them…?”
“No I’m a banshee…”
You just nodded your head and looked away.
“How can.. how can you feel so safe with them…?”
You mumbled.
Lydia reached out, placing her hand on your arm.
“They’re going to protect you I promise, you’re my brother, you’ve always been part of the pack.” She said.
“It was one of them that.. that did this to me…”
“It wasn’t them I swear, it was someone else we’re looking for them.” Stiles said.
You glanced at him.
“How can.. how can you feel safe with them..?”
“Because we’re trying to protect people.” He smiled.
You looked to your sister.
“I promise you, they have your back. We have your back. Okay? I promise.”
You looked at her, and glanced at the pack then turned back to Lydia.
You slowly nodded your head you weren’t sure what to think about all of this, but you trusted your sister so you wanted to trust her on this too
