I'm writing an episode by episode rewrite of Teen wolf, starting from S1ep4, and honestly? No plan, I'm winging this. Whatever happens happens.

Like, did I plan to end up with Peter being the pack Alpha? No, but we're here now so I'm gonna roll with it. I wasn't planning on Derek and Allison being besties either, but I'm not complaining.

I'm writing these 1 at a time cause it's more manageable that way, but that also means I do not have any sort of long term plotlines. (Currently, since nothing's gotten too serious yet in the show)

The worst part about writing these 1 by 1 is that there's so many ships I wanna add but can't bcuz it's not time yet T_T.

The way Theo was kinda the worst thing for season 5 but his character ending up saving season 6B and honestly that’s character development for me in my eyes at least

No thoughts, just;

Theo being taken by the Dread Doctors for the sole purpose of isolated experimentation, speaking to him only in French for 10 years to isolate him further. When Scott’s pack unexpectedly finds and rescues him, he has no understanding of pack dynamics, affection or how to communicate what’s been done to him over the years. How could he even begin to heal from all the trauma when the world looks so vastly different as an 18 year old than it did as an 8 year old?

i've always just headcannoned that Stiles has keys, passkeys and codes to everyones stuff. you have a house key, car key, or something needing a code? Stiles has several copies on himself and hidden elsewhere.

like this dude has sticky fingers, and eyes everywhere. he's got the ability to get it into the sheriff's station, the school, hospital and vet. like if it's a mildly important place or is just slightly interesting, chances are high; he's got a key and code to get in

every time they try to change codes or keys, he has copies made a day later. no one is safe. no one.

people try to complain to the Sheriff, in the hopes he'll be able to stop him

he tells them all to suck it up.

while Stiles is the light of his life, he's also a feral gremlin,

the sheriff has been trying to keep him out of his stuff since he could walk

stiles also 100% has house and car keys to all of the pack

it drives argent insane that he can't keep him out

they've tried changing their stuff

it doesn't work

he also somehow got their passwords

(it wasn't hard, they're all stupid and have easy to guess passwords)

The absolute sheer brilliance that would have been stiles and Lydia being bitchy best friends is super underrated. It’s diabolical/mad scientist friendship that sends people running in fear.

Like instead of falling in love with Lydia because she says something super smart, stiles just squints his eyes and rebuffs her. Bam Frienemies until they commit a crime together and instant best friends/siblings.

Ignore the whole Lydia being a banshee thing, like Lydia getting bite in season one instead and turning into a werewolf and best friend stiles. The dynamic would be unmatched. Her and stiles would have had that shit packed up in under an episode and maybe a half if they stop for coffee.

The only thing I’m not sure of is if Derek would have remained alpha because Lydia could have easily killed Peter herself. (I’m going to go with yes Derek does, as hale puppy pack has a special place in my hearts)

Derek wouldn’t have had the chance to even remotely fail because 1. Lydia knows that stiles is in love with him and refuses to let her best friend date a loser. 2. That is her alpha and she refuses to have a loser as her alpha.

Overprotective Werewolf Lydia and jealous Derek also would have been the funniest dynamic. Werewolf lydia and magic stiles would have been so so good.
