Heavy Duty Shampoo: Turtle Wax Carnauba Car Wash & Wax
In this current monsoon weather, a big issue is dirty mud splashes on our car trims and exterior. If left to sit, it turns into hard stains which are difficult to remove and can also leave scratches. Carnauba tropical wash & wax by Turtle Wax is a complete game-changer here. It is pH balanced and produces rich, lubricious foam which encapsulates and loosens abrasive soils. The encapsulation technology helps prevent soils from re-depositing on the paint finish to reduce the formation of swirl marks and minor surface scratches.

STEP 3
Apply with a soft cotton towel, car wash sponge or wash mit
STEP 4
Start at the top of the vehicle and work downwards cleaning the least soiled portions before moving to the heavily soiled lower areas of the automobile.
STEP 5
Use a gentle back and forth motion on painted surfaces, washing one section at a time. Rinse thoroughly.
Odor Eliminator and Refresher: Odor-X Kit — Caribbean Crush Scent
The wet carpets and upholstery can become a real inconvenience for your car during monsoon. The car odor builds up during monsoon and many times passengers cannot open the windows to dissolve it due to the rain outside. Power Out! Odor-X whole car blast exactly captures this issue here and immediately destroys the bad odor while leaving behind a pleasant Caribbean Crush scent, a tropical fragrance. The Odor gets destroyed and the car remains odor-free for the coming 30 days!
· Seeks & Destroys Odors for up to 30 Days
· No Residue Formula, safely Reaches Every Inch of the Car
· Leaves Behind a Caribbean Crush Scent
STEP 1
Turn on the car’s air conditioning to maximum strength, and turn on the air recycling feature
STEP 2
Place the Whole Car Blast can in a cup holder or on the floor of your car.
STEP 3
Firmly press down on the valve to release the automatic mist. Leave the car. Allow 15 minutes while the mist seeks and destroys odors. When finished, dispose of the can. BONUS: Use the Travel Spray to target odors on the go.
Windshield coating: ClearVue Rain Repellent
One of the biggest issues we face while driving and riding during the rains is the visibility that gets hampered due to the heavy downpour. ClearVue Rain Repellent helps disseminate these water droplets on the windshield and helmet visors to reach faster down to the bottom. This solution not only helps with a better vision throughout the drive in the rains but also helps with the longevity of the wipers. Two-wheeler riders eliminates the need to wipe the water droplets from the visor using their hands/gloves.
· Clear silicone’s repel rain, sleet, and snow
· Vastly improves driver visibility
· For use on all automotive windshields and Motorbike helmets
STEP 1
Wash glass and allow to dry. Moisten a clean, soft cloth with the formula.
STEP 2
Wipe the cloth over the dry glass using a circular, over-lapping motion. Allow to dry to a haze then repeat application.
STEP 3
Remove the second application haze by sprinkling the surface with water. Dry using a paper kitchen towel until the glass is clear and sparkling.
Tyre Care: Wheel & Tire Cleaner
Many a time monsoon leads to muddy tyres which are particularly difficult to get clean and result in loss of tyre shine. Turtle Wax All Wheel & Tire Cleaner is a one-stop solution to remove the toughest grime on tyres. It removes the brown residue with ease and brightens up the sidewall letterings. It is super easy to use with immediate effects that leave your car tyres looking new!
· New power foam formula removes brake dust
· Easy to use, just spray & rinse
· Non-acid formula
STEP 1
Wheels should be cool to the touch. If the vehicle was recently driven, rinse the wheels first with cool water.
STEP 2
Spray wheel and tire sidewall on all areas to be cleaned. Allow 30–40 seconds for the product to penetrate dirt and brake dust. Rinse thoroughly with a strong stream of water and dry.
STEP 3
Brown sidewalls or extremely dirty tires may need to be scrubbed with a brush before rinsing.
These are just a handful of products that help tackle the driving and riding woes during the monsoon season. Top 10 car washing Amazon products | Car washing idea
Car washing idea
Car washing is the process of cleaning and maintaining the exterior and interior of a vehicle. It helps to remove dirt, grime, and other contaminants that can damage the paint and surface of the car. There are several ways to wash a car, including using a bucket and sponge, a pressure washer, or an automatic car wash. One idea for car washing is to use eco-friendly products and methods. This includes using biodegradable soaps and detergents, as well as water-efficient techniques such as using a waterless car wash. Additionally, incorporating renewable energy sources such as solar panels into the car wash facility can help reduce its carbon footprint. Another idea is to offer additional services such as detailing and waxing. Detailing involves deep cleaning the interior and exterior of the car, while waxing helps to protect the paint and give it a glossy finish. Offering these services can increase revenue and provide customers with a comprehensive car care experience. Finally, another innovative idea is to offer mobile car washing services. Instead of requiring customers to come to a physical location, the car wash service can come to them. This can be especially convenient for busy individuals who may not have the time to take their car to a traditional car wash.

Self Care 101 🦋
In this post I’ll be outlining my current routines as they relate to self care. I’ll cover everything from head to toe making sure not to skip your spirit. You cannot be a girl of ANYONE’S dreams if you aren’t taking care of the most important person in your world: you.
mornings:
wash face with gentle cleanser from curology, tone with organic Mamonde rose water and finish with rich moisturizer and spf30
brush teeth with activated charcoal toothpaste by Crest and baking soda for whitening and gum clarity
take vitamins : woman’s one a day, hair skin nails, biotin, vitamin c
drink glass of water then a cup of tea
black tea, raw cane sugar, a lemon slice, ginger
good for energy, immune function, and detox
showers:
this may sound so extra (😅), but depending on my hairstyle, I sometimes like to let the shower run for about five minutes with the door closed to create a sauna effect. this is especially if I have a mask on my hair.
my showers usually are about 20-30 minutes
I have a back brush, pink exfoliating gloves, a loofah, and tree hut body scrubs and I use them ALL.
I wash first with my dove beauty bar to assure clean skin before washing with EITHER my OGX Shea So Soft body wash or Dove Renewing Peony and Rose Oil body wash to add scent or silkiness to my skin.
hair removal:
I haven’t yet mastered the art of waxing myself so I’m still riding the shave wave. *when I do I’ll make a post 4 that*
I exfoliate throughly before AND after shaving
I shave my entire body using Tree Hut Shaving Oil and a nice conditioner I’m not using. This leaves my skin super soft and silky and helps the razor to glide without skipping. I use Gillette Venus. no less than five blades, anything less is ASKING for nicks and a hard time.
when I don’t feel like shaving, I use Nair. use at your own risk. yes, I Nair my ENTIRE BODY. only leaving it on for about 7 minutes I rinse in WARM (not hot) water and exfoliate afterwards. it is imperative to moisturize after to avoid irritation. however, Nair is much easier to do than shaving and seems to last an inkling longer.
after shaving, once a month, I pull out my KENZZI. it’s an IPL device and it has helped to slow the growth of my hair. it’s noticeable for us long, thick haired chicks. I use the second to lowest setting as a melanated babe, as the higher settings could burn me.
I know many endorse the hair on women movement and I can understand it. But I personally love my skin silky, hairless, and smooth.
nights:
after eating dinner, I wash my face and apply the tiniest bit of glycolic serum and my curology night cream. my skin has been the best it’s been in a few years. then I brush my teeth and rinse with peroxide.
every four days I give myself a facial
my favorite face masks:
The Ordinary Salicylic Acid mask
The Ordinary AHA + BHA mask
all Tony Moly sheet masks *luvvvvv those*
GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD clearing treatment *fav*
Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme mask
Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel mask
Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud mask
Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel mask
ORIGINS Clear Improvement mask
An at home honey and aloe mask
I apply a rich facial moisturizer and get to bed.
I then write in my planner my new plans and what I did that day if I hadn’t already. then after that I script and make mood boards in my diary. then I read a little. currently reading: Making Faces by Kevyn Aucoin, and Live Like a hot Chick by Jodi Lipper.
emotions:
I talk to my grandmother about my feelings, she helps me sort things out. please try to find one person you trust to talk to, my messages are always open. 💓 I often overthink. I suffer from anxiety and clinical depression. sometimes these things make me FEEL limited. these experiences wax and wane. I remind myself that the darkness is temporary.
I write in my diary what I feel and track my emotions for potential patterns. I don’t manufacture or sugar coat my feelings, I just talk.
sometimes you need a good cry. let it out. clean your slate. you’ll always feel better, sometimes great after a hard, deep sobbing cry.
I try to get out of the house and get some sunlight. it helps brighten my mood sometimes.
baths:
LOVE taking baths I don’t care what the status quo is about dirt. just rinse off. I love wrapping my hair up and soaking in warm-hot water.
first I run the water. as it’s running I add my bubble bath, then body wash, then my Shea Moisture fragrant coconut oil. it smells soooo good, literally yummy. then I inevitably scream from dipping my toe in the hot water. finally I get in, scrub down my body, emphasis on feet. then I wash, and just relax. I’ve even fallen asleep in the tub once, I was so zen.
careful not to soak too long or overdo it with your products. synthetic materials lingering in your lady bits for too long cause cause infections like bv or uti
some women add tea tree oil, acv, or even Aztec clay to their baths for wellness purposes. I love adding essential oils to my baths to relax and the natural scent is just great 🥺
when I get out I always put something that feels lush and soft on. *invest in super soft, comfy bath towels, they’ll make you feel so luxurious and soft after a nice relaxing bath*
flower:
the yoni is something sensitive that needs to be taken care of thoroughly, and differently than the rest of your body. it’s not recommended to use soaps down there, it can unbalance things and make you itch. also make you prone to infection. this is why I use clear warm water to clean. if I use soap it’s a sensitive, gentle formula. don’t ever try to clean the cavity. she’s a self cleaning vessel.
to shave, I trim my hair down as close as possible and use a FIVE BLADE razor with conditioner and take my time. making sure not to pass a spot twice, I apply moderate pressure and move slowly. when finished I rinse and scrub gently. I PAT not rub dry. to finish off I apply TendSkin, and salicylic acid to avoid ingrowns. once that’s soaked in I apply shea butter. very soft and pretty 🌸
⚠️ DO NOT PUT ON TIGHT PANTIES OR RIGHT PANTS AFTER SHAVING. it restricts the hairs and causes irritation and ingrowns. throw on some comfy loose shorts for a while, let it breathe
dietary needs:
drink plenty of water
cranberry juice
vitamin c
minimal red meat
probiotics
at home vagacial for the high maintenance girlies:
*make any necessary extractions with pointed and slanted tweezers *
scrub:
brown sugar, tea tree oil, a little shea butter
exfoliating and anti inflammatory
mask:
baking soda, fresh lemon juice, vitamin e oil, papaya juice, gelatin
fixes discoloration and brightens the skin while softening
moisturize:
aloe vera gel, rose hip seed oil
smelling sweet:
ah yes, my favorite part. I love fragrance so much. I love to smell like you could literally break off a piece of me and eat it.
I find that using fragrant washes and oils make your scent more strong and help it linger. I already mentioned the body washes I use. the tree hut scrubs I use smell amazing also. I alike to add essential oils and man made scents like strawberry and chocolate to my Shea Moisture oil (so yummy).
I also use a fragrant lotion, eau de parfum, and fragrance mist.
here’s a list of some of my favorites:
perfumes:
jimmy choo fever
coach floral blush
yves saint laurent mon paris
victoria’s secret bombshell
victoria’s secret scandalous
valentino
fragrance mists:
victoria’s secret velvet petals, pure seduction, warm and cozy
bath and body works a thousand wishes, fiji pineapple palm, warm vanilla sugar, black raspberry vanilla
oils:
coconut
sweet almond
peppermint
chocolate scented essential oil
strawberry scented essential oil
orange
grapefruit
eucalyptus
sweetest combo ever:
vanilla extract, coconut oil, shea butter, and your favorite perfume. you’ll be smelling like a warm cupcake with extra sprinkles and icing 🧁
layering:
oil, lotion, eau de parfum, mist
pulse points:
inside elbows and knees, in between thighs, inner arms, behind ears, back of neck, ankles
hair:
it’s super important to keep your hair moisturized. quenched tresses move, grow, shine and bounce. dry hair is limp, lackluster, and extremely fragile
my fav diy deep conditioner:
a banana, half an avocado, three spoons of honey, an egg, a spoonful of mayo, a spoonful of coconut, olive, and castor oil each
strength from egg, avocado, mayo and olive oil
moisture from avocado and honey
cover damp CLEAN hair and scalp in mixture and cover with a plastic bag, then towel for an hour, rinse thoroughly, and seal in moisture
fav hair products:
castor oil
fusionplex conditioner and mask
Aussie conditioner
wella goji berry mask
coconut oil
style booster edge control
helpful tips:
when shampooing, concentrate on the scalp and wash thoroughly twice, as the suds will naturally cleanse your stands without drying and stripping them
rinse hair with apple cider vinegar every now and then. it restores your ph balance, smooths the cuticle, clarifies the strands, and adds shine
always add oil and leave ins to DAMP hair, never dry; this will ensure you’re sealing in moisture
try to use smooth fabrics to dry your hair, bath towels encourage frizz and breakage
hands and feet:
and last but not least, let’s cover manicuring and pedicuring.
it’s super important to make sure your nails are either DONE or filed, shaped, and smooth. at home maintenance is super easy. make a point to scrub your hands and feet well when bathing. make sure to stay on top of your cuticles by trimming or pushing them back. I like the look that pushing them gives. I use an orangewood stick, metal pusher and cuticle softener to make the process super easy and safe. after I’m done I add my pineapple scented cuticle oil. I do this on my fingers and toes.
invest in a rasp and pumice stone for your feet and use these gently every two weeks after soaking them in warm foot salts. rough usage can cause cuts and irritation. in between treatments keep your feet soft by slathering them in a moisturizing foot cream, cocoa/shea butter then oil to seal it all in. buy some soft thick aloe infused socks and wear them to sleep. you’ll thank me 😉
for info on how I do my nails click this
well, that’s all I’ve got. I truly hope you enjoyed my post! it’s always fun sharing my advice with you all. any feedback is appreciated and question is welcomed ♡

Dr. Victor Mordenheim has traveled to many different realities in his many centuries of existence. This series, which I shall add to from time to time, will explore some of them, beginning with the world of @ask-de-writer.

NEW TO THIS STORY? READ FROM PART 1 which is HERE
===================================================
An almost painfully purple colored unicorn sat his narrow rump in front of the Ponyville Day Spa. He ran a grubby hoof through his greasy-looking slicked back green mane as he puffed out his chest with pride. A white ribbon was around his neck, holding a silver medallion, a symbol of the Celestian Church. Pokeweed had decided to take it upon himself to guard this fine business and make sure that no undesirables make their way inside.
It was just a few moments before he saw the bedraggled looking zebra making its way down the road towards him. Getting a self-righteous smirk on his face he held up a hoof towards the creature and shouted out, “Lesser creatures got no business here. Jes’ move along.”
After a moment, Pokeweed realized he may have made a mistake in more ways than one. First of all, he had misjudged how far down the road the zebra had been when he called out. The second was assuming that he was dealing with a normal black and white heretic like the poison-selling witches he had been told so much about. As the striped intruder got closer, the violet stallion realized he might have bit off more than he could chew. In seconds, he was staring slightly up towards a nasty-looking x-shaped scar on the front of the zebra’s chest.
Victor slowly lowered his head down, his single ice-blue eye seeming to bore right into the violently violet unicorn’s soul. His voice was a deep base rumble as he asked, “I’m sorry, did you say something?”
Pokeweed, who was a fairly recent inductee into the church must have still had a few scruples left as he simply swallowed hard, mumbled, “N-no sir…” and backed out of the way before trotting down the road, quickly!
The big zebra sighed. Things had started out so well this morning. Ah well, he thought, no point in letting just one mishap get to him. Lowering his head, he ducked through the doorway and trotted inside.
Behind the counter sat a pale blue mare with a pink mane, a small brass plaque in front of her showing her name as Lotus Blossom. She quickly sat up, taking notice as Victor made his way through the door. Her voice was heavily accented, rolling her r’s as she spoke, “Oh my, you are a beeg one, aren’t you? Well, we gladly serve all kinds here, please, just sign the register and we can get started.”
He blinked again, once more pleasantly surprised by the hospitality he was being shown. Taking a quill gently in his teeth, he signed his name into the thick book. He was so confused by the situation that he nearly forgot what he had been told at breakfast time. Keeping his voice soft and low, he murmured, “Caramel Treat sent me.”
“Oh! Wonderful, wonderful, let’s see here…” She glanced at the book and smiled, “Veector, now that is an interesting name. Well, come with me, please. I think we should get you started with a nice, long soak and do something about that mane and tail. You look like you’ve been lost in the forest for days!”
Victor found himself being whisked from room to room, being scrubbed to a shining white with fragrant shampoos. His mane was cleaned and brushed, leaving it long, luxuriant and shining, it’s deep red color offset by it’s gleam. In what seemed like mere minutes, he found himself deposited face-down on a table that was surprisingly not too small for him, his face resting through a hole, looking down at the floor. Everything was soft and comfortably padded and he felt himself drifting off until he heard voices from the next room.
“Alright, Snowflake. Veektor ees a new customer, and I want you to be sure to get every last knot worked out of his muscles, do you theenk you can do that?”
A deep, gruff voice belted out an enthusiastic “YEEEAAAH!!!!!”
Victor jerked his head upright, looking towards the door as a literal white wall of muscle forced his shoulders and tiny wings through the doorway.
“al-RIGHT, let’s DO THIS!” the pegasus shouted. A few bottles of oils on the walls rattled at his voice. Victor could not doubt this “Snowflake’s” enthusiasm!
He felt a chill run down his back as a cold, floral scented oil was poured onto his back, but that quickly became a warmth that seeped into his old muscles as it was rubbed down his spine. Just as he was starting to relax, there was a sudden downward thrusting force between his shoulders, a sharp crack, and a blinding pain that seared through his nerves before his tense muscles suddenly relaxed. The big zebra gave a low moan, practically melting into the table beneath him as Snowflake worked his magic.
A few moments later at the reception desk Lotus Blossom and her sister Aloe were running around like chickens with their head cut off! Huge, heavy thuds were echoing through the floor and walls as they tried their best to catch the vials of oils and shampoos that were shaking themselves off of the shelves. They looked at one another and shrugged, they had never known any creature to be able to endure Snowflake’s massage for more than a few seconds, but this had been going on for a good fifteen minutes! Finally, just as Aloe made a diving catch to save a particularly expensive bottle of mane conditioner, the noise finally stopped, followed by a low, rumbling groan of relief.
After he had finished, Victor stood slowly on wobbling legs. He had no idea that he had been so tense. He nodded to the blonde buzz-maned bodybuilder in thanks and headed back to the front to pay his bill. Snowflake smiled and relaxed a bit. He finally had a customer who didn’t run screaming in pain from his deep tissue massage.
Stepping back out into the sun was a changed zebra. His body had healed a bit, filling back out a bit as his body quickly processed the wonderful food from that morning. His mane was pulled back in a tight ponytail behind his neck, healthy and bouncing slightly as he walked. His tail had been bound in braided leather straps both for fashion and protection, the fluffy tip protruding from the end. His black stripes were sleek and shining and his white fur almost seemed to glow in the sunlight. Even his dark hooves were polished almost to a mirror sheen.
He smiled brightly, still careful to keep his muzzle closed as he looked about at the little ponies going about their chores. They shuffled from store to store, most greeting one another cheerfully as they did so. He could see occasional confrontations, but these seemed minor and far between. Of course, they still kept staring at him from the sidelines and moved far out of the way as he passed.
Sighing, he gazed up at the mountainside above Ponyville at Canterlot Castle. He would have to venture up there soon to ask about official ownership of the ruins in the Everfree, but he was determined to wait until after nightfall. Not only would his size cause less of a ruckus amongst the so-called Canterlot Elite, he would be more likely to granted an audience with Princess Luna, with whom he was still on somewhat good terms unlike her accursed sister.
He wandered the town for a while, slowly becoming more and more confused. Most of the roads were the same, aside from being in such good condition, but others were new entirely. Most of the buildings were in good repair, most of the ponies he recognized were here, though they didn’t seem to recognize him at all.
As made his way down the street, ponies continued to give him wide berth, either trotting to the other side of the road or slipping into alleys as he passed by. All save one. A small white pegasus in a wide-brimmed black hat trotted right up to him, tilted his head back and held out a hoof in a welcoming gesture.
“Greetings, friend! I don’t believe I’ve seen you in these parts before!” He smiled pleasantly enough and seemed sincere in his welcome.
Victor reached out a foreleg and tapped the offered hoof in return, his own dwarfing the smaller stallion’s. “Indeed. It’s been a long time since I last visited, far longer than I intended, it seems.”
“Well, I certainly hope you’ll be staying a while! Allow me to introduce myself, I am Reverend Smallflower, and…” his voice trailed off a bit as he saw the sudden change in the huge zebra’s mood.
Victor frowned, his mood turning sour. Thunderheads seemed to knit between his eyebrows as he scowled down at the pious pony before him, “Reverend? After hearing from one of your congregation earlier, I’m surprised you speak to, how did he put it? “Lesser creatures like me.”
Smallflower shook his head, frowning now as well, “Bah, you ran across a member of the Celestian Church. In our church, all are welcome.”
He blinked, then reached a hoof up to rub at the back of his neck, a bit embarrassed. He’d just acted every bit the ruffian that the townsfolk had been treating him like. “I’m sorry, Reverend. You’re correct. They were in front of the day spa and were trying to keep others from entering.”
The reverend sighed and shook his head, “They know better than that. THe next time you see them doing something similar, just inform Constable Crager of the Ponyville police department. He’ll set things straight. Just make sure you talk to him directly. Sadly, some of the officers are members of the Celestian church as well.”
Shaking his head in return, Victor smiled in thanks, “I appreciate you letting me know. Perhaps I may stop by to see your congregation one day. Good day, Reverend Smallflower.”
“And a good day to you, too, brother.. uh… I’m sorry, I didn’t catch your name.”
“Victor, and thank you again.”
With that, the two touched hooves again and went their separate ways. After this encounter, however, Victor noticed a change. Fewer ponies were crossing to the far side of the street to get away from him. He got a few nods of acknowledgment or waves. He was even able to browse a few shopping stalls without the keeper not suddenly having business elsewhere.

vanilla and raspberry champagne
cw: mentions of alcohol, death, grieving
She had this certain smell to her. It was vanilla and raspberry champagne; A field of roses engulfed by the light of the half moon. It was the pasta dishes she made for dinner on Friday nights; The quilt her grandmother made by hand, which covered us whilst we slept. Rest assured, this scent went far beyond perfume or body wash. To me, I suppose the best way I could describe it was that she smelt like home.
It was a strong, indistinguishable scent. It followed her everywhere she went. When I would step out of the pouring rain and into the warmth of her car, it would hit me, and I would feel safer than I ever had before as she laughed in harmony with the song blaring over the speakers. The first time she came over to my house, bits and pieces of her lingered in my bedroom. My shirt, which she had buried her face into as she held me, smelt like her. I reveled in the scent for as long as I could. It soaked through my skin, and like a drug, it had me hooked.
Everything she touched, from the edge of my bed to my heart itself, all had her scent. It was a warm Sunday morning, or chamomile tea with milk and honey, or the feeling of her cat’s paws pressing into my chest, or the way her snowy eyes shined like there was a whole galaxy inside of them. I could always tell when she was nearby, for she seemed to leave a trail of her essence behind. She had that sort of presence, I suppose, one that never truly fades away. Years could pass, and I am certain the sweater she gave me for Christmas would still smell just like her.
When she left, they all told me she would never truly leave my heart. They said this over glasses of cheap red wine and white cake for the grocery store. I was thankful, then, for how stubborn the color black was to be stained. None of them ever had to see those tears I cried into my sleeve. The room smelt of wax candles, old women, and something stiff and foul. It was odd, to host someone so young in a place that seemed oh-so aged. They told me she was gone, and with no trace of her left in that reception hall, I almost believed them.
That is, until I returned home. When I went to bed that night, there were faint traces of her in the air. She lingered along the white sheets which were meant to protect me. That distinct smell of fireplaces and hand-holding hit me weakly, but enough to still bruise me. I buried my face into my pillow —which also carried her scent— and I wept for longer than I could keep track of.
Her scent followed me more and more after that. In the kitchen making a cup of coffee. At work fanning through papers in the same way she once had with her worn collection of books. Stepping out of the bathroom after sitting in the shower until the water turned ice cold. Going to her house to sort through her belongings was near unbearable, and I was convinced that day haunted me since. What had once been such a luxury was now physically suffocating me. Some days, I would stumble out onto the patio, gasping for air as the wind hit my face. After a few deep breaths, my hands would shake a bit less, and I would deem I was fine to step back inside. Only then, as the glass door slid closed behind me, would I once again be struck by the smell of old theatres and soft lips.
One night, almost as if it had reached a crescendo of sorts, I awoke in a cold sweat. The covers were sticky and uncomfortable against my skin, but they still seemed to act as a protective barrier from whatever awoke me, so I kept them on. My throat was raspy from a scream I had no memory of letting loose. As my lungs became less tight, and allowed more air in, I realized what had awoken me. The smell. It was stronger than it had ever been. For a moment, just before my eyes could adjust to the darkness, I could have sworn upon my life that she was lying next to me.
As I shifted up to sitting, I could feel her weight pressed into the bed beside me. The room outside of my blanket was a bone-chilling cold, which bit my exposed bits of skin like a bullet. There was the sound of breathing, but not mine, as it was much softer and calmer than my ragged breaths. All I could smell was her. The scent overwhelmed my senses, taking up every thought I had. French toast. Thrift store dresses. Tea tree shampoo. The lake, and the trees surrounding it. Street lights illuminating her face as she stared into my eyes.
For those few moments, she was the only person or thing to ever exist. She was far more than alive. She had come back from the dead to swallow the universe whole. I must have been the last item on her list to devour. My best guess was that this was when I would meet my end. Before, I had longed to die by her side. I supposed my wishes had been granted.
Then, I turned on the lamp by my bedside, and —just like that dark morning in the hospital room— she was gone, and all that remained was the faint smell of vanilla and raspberry champagne.

Dr. Mordenheim’s Travels, Book 1: De Writer’s Equestria, Ch. 2
Dr. Victor Mordenheim has traveled to many different realities in his many centuries of existence. This series, which I shall add to from time to time, will explore some of them, beginning with the world of @ask-de-writer.
=============================================================
Pokeweed, who was a fairly recent inductee into the church must have still had a few scruples left as he simply swallowed hard, mumbled, “N-no sir...” and backed out of the way before trotting down the road, quickly!
“Oh! Wonderful, wonderful, let’s see here...” She glanced at the book and smiled, “Veector, now that is an interesting name.
Allow me to introduce myself, I am Reverend Smallflower, and...” his voice trailed off a bit as he saw the sudden change in the huge zebra’s mood.
“And a good day to you, too, brother.. uh... I’m sorry, I didn’t catch your name.”

Midnight Snack - Bunny
Butters couldn’t deny that he enjoyed being spoiled. Kenny may not have been the most well-to-do man in town, but he did his best, and it made every treat tastier, and each act sweeter.
Hello friends! It’s about time I wrote some Bunny, eh? I’ve shipped them forever but never been able to finish something, so I took one of the prompts from this month’s South Park Mini-Bomb - Treat - and came up with this. Find it on AO3 here!
“A’ight baby, get ready for some grade A Kenny McCormick special treatment action, because it’s comin’ your way in approximately ten minutes,” his phone said, and Butters cradled it to his cheek, as though the tenderness in which he held it could transfer through the call and kiss Kenny’s ear for him.
“Aw, Kenny,” he said, his voice melting as much as his body did as he sunk into the pillows on his bed, “you shouldn’t have.”
“Too late!” Kenny exclaimed, loudly into the receiver, so much so that Butters had to pull the speaker from his ear just slightly. In doing so, the screen awoke, and the picture he assigned to Kenny’s contact made his heart even warmer. It was a selfie of the two of them together, but it was held by Kenny’s arm, not his, and that somehow made it much more magical. “I provide only the best, and there’s nothin’ you can do to stop me.”
“Nothing?” he teased, fiddling with the tassels on the ends of one of his throw pillows, and Kenny laughed, nearly as wonderful through the phone as in person. He had such a musical laugh, so full of life.
“Nothin’ at all, darlin’. Unlock the window for me?” Kenny requested almost unnecessarily, and Butters nodded before realizing that Kenny couldn’t see him doing so.
“You bet! See ya soon, mister man,” he murmured coyly, and he knew he threw Kenny for a loop by the slight pause in his response. He cleared his throat and Butters tried not to laugh.
“You got it. See you. Love you,” he said, in that special way he always said it in which he put too much emphasis on the word ‘love,’ and Butters smiled.
“Love you too, Kenny,” he said. He bid him farewell without goodbye- he didn’t like the word goodbye. It was too final, too concrete, and whenever he said it, he had a superstitious feeling that Kenny would vanish before he got the chance to say ‘hello’ again. Maybe because he was afraid to lose him, or because the days he did disappear felt like torture, but either way, Kenny was a doll to never say it again.
When he hung up the phone, he couldn’t help himself- he let out a small giggle that made his ears feel hot and his stomach tingly, and he rolled back and forth with his phone to his chest in the nest of plushy pillows he wrapped around himself. Oh, he loved him. “I love him so much,” he whispered to himself, as if it might help release the energy that was building in his chest that felt like rainbows and tickled like feathers.
Carefully, with pointed toes donning striped socks, he crossed his bedroom floor and crept to the window to unlock it. He reached under the window sill and felt around blindly with his fingertips until he found the rudimentary notch Kenny had chipped into it for him, and, popping off the little cover fashioned from the displaced wood, he flipped a tiny switch. He gripped the sides of the window frame and tested it, pulling it up just a crack, and true to form, the alarms were left untripped.
Kenny had gone practically ballistic when his father installed the high security electronic locks on his window and door.
It was not a pretty sight, that was for sure, and Butters still felt bad to have subjected Kenny to his sadness. He tried not to cry very much, he really did, but that was a hard one. The sound of metal smacking metal rang in his ears while he cowered on his bed that night, as though his father was driving nails into his skull too.
They hadn’t been dating yet, when Butters begged Kenny for help in a moment of weakness. Even though the nails made it impossible to open his window, Kenny still perched himself on the branch of his oak tree the whole night, looking right into his eyes while they sat silent with each other, their cell phones connected so that they could speak if they wanted to, but for the most part did not. Butters thought that might have been the first time he loved Kenny, gazing into his hardened eyes that still looked at him tenderly despite the rage he could see tensing his shoulders and setting his jaw. Kenny had a protective soul, one made of gold and strong as steel, and it radiated sunshine from his immaculate smiles. He was also, luckily, good with technology, and he designed and installed a workaround for his window within the week.
Butters was startled from his memories by tapping on glass, and when he sat up to look at the noise, he saw another of those toothy grins, framed by dimples and freckles and old white scars. His hands were full so Butters hopped from his bed, moving as quickly as he could as quietly as he could, and he inched the window up bit by bit, careful not to let the wood squeak. As soon as he had it pulled up high enough that his arms were above his head, Kenny swooped forward and kissed his nose.
“Evenin’,” he drawled, a proud smirk on his lips at the way Butters tried not to giggle behind his hands, and he ushered him in, carefully moving away obstacles so he wouldn’t make much noise. Kenny was an expert at breaking into windows though, and he maneuvered like a cat off the tree and into his bedroom. In his hand was a cardboard drink tray that held two plastic cups, each filled with ice cream, milk, and flavored syrup, and a cheap fake cherry to top it off.
“Don’t I just feel like a sorta prince, now,” Butters whispered, and Kenny sat down on the floor cross-legged, tugging the strawberry milkshake from the tray and handing it over to Butters’ waiting hand.
“Only the highest of luxuries for you, my dear,” Kenny said with his usual bravado, enthusiasm shining through even in his hushed murmur. Butters sat across from him and took care to unwrap his straw at the very end so he had most of the paper intact. It increased his chance for a wish, after all, if he could get more paper to knot. Kenny watched him patiently; he knew the routine.
Butters loosely tangled the wrapper and paused a moment, closing his eyes, before tearing it apart. When he opened his eyes again, he saw two clean strips, one in each hand, and it appeared McDonald’s had granted him a wish once more. “Aw Ken, I dunno what to wish for anymore,” he said, the smile on his face hurting his cheeks, and Kenny smiled back, the picture of adoration.
“I can think ‘a plenty of things! Here, lemme try it this time,” Kenny said, and he pulled his straw wrapper to end up with a knot on one end, and no wish to speak of. “Damn,” he muttered, and he shoved the bits of paper into his coat pocket. Kenny never got wishes, and it made him a little sad.
“Maybe next time,” Butters chirped, optimistic, and Kenny’s scowl softened to a slight appreciative smile, the heart-melty kind.
“I doubt it baby, but thank you,” he said. He took a long sip of his drink, and they fell into comfortable silence.
It was a growing colder outside, and the combined chill of the milkshake and the breeze that swirled in past his curtains had him reaching for a blanket. He tugged on his favorite one within reach, an extra soft pastel blue throw that was part of the massive conglomerate of snuggly things he slept with each night on his bed. He wrapped part of it around his shoulders, and used his other hand to gesture at Kenny. “You’re gonna catch cold over there, Kenny,” he whispered, and Kenny chuckled breathily, so prettily.
“I got a coat on, I’m good,” Kenny said, and Butters started to protest, but then he scooched forward, crawling over to cuddle up close to his side and lean into his shoulder. “Won’t complain, though.”
Butters hummed and nuzzled his nose into his messy hair, noting that he’d recently showered and it still smelled like his shampoo. He held his cup with both hands, drinking the last of his precious treat until his straw started to slurp. Kenny had his tucked between them, and he took occasional slower sips as they embraced the world exactly how it fell around them.
Kenny was starting to fall heavier against his side, and Butters, knowing the signs, took Kenny’s cup in the nick of time before he became complete deadweight on his shoulder. His breathing had evened out and deepened, each exhale leaving him in a quiet hiss between a slightly unhinged jaw. The angel upon his shoulder had fallen asleep, but Butters was quite familiar with this routine as well.
He didn’t want to move at first, because he knew the slightest stirring would have him up in a flash and hyperactive to compensate. No, Butters didn’t want that; Kenny was clearly exhausted, having come over immediately after finishing a shift at one of this several jobs, and he knew he never got good sleep in his own bed. Instead, he drank the last few sips of Kenny’s milkshake for him, knowing he wouldn’t mind, and let his sighs of sleepy contentment puff against his collarbone.
Butters glanced at his clock- it was nearing midnight. He set the cup down beside his own emptied one, back in its carrier, and used both arms to gingerly adjust Kenny’s sleeping form to lie over his chest. Kenny hummed in his sleep and wrapped his arm lazily across Butters’ torso, slinging it over one shoulder and squeezing once in an awkward hug. He giggled quietly at his unconscious affections, and rubbed one hand up and down his back to comfort him. His body fit so perfectly against his own, for such an unusual angle. He hoped Kenny could hear his heart beating, and maybe its shouting of “You’re wonderful! You’re perfect! Thank you, Thank you!” too.
The condensation on the sides of their cups was starting to drip and seep into the carrier they sat inside. Butters watched beads of water drop and disappear within the brown cardboard, and listened to the ticking of the clock above his closet door. It was off by an hour, but the minute hand was still correct. It was past midnight now.
It was well known, by any person in town, that the McCormicks didn’t have much. This unfortunately fell on Kenny, too, and he worked hard at several jobs to help keep his family afloat. Butters wished he could’ve had more of a childhood, instead of the rapid way he had to grow up to care for his siblings and, occasionally, his mother. As a result, Kenny didn’t know how to relax very well, or talk out his feelings. They were working on that, together.
A cheap milkshake from a fast food restaurant would ordinarily mean nothing, could even be considered subpar, if it was anyone but Kenny or anyone but Butters. Kenny scraped what he could together to get him that drink, he knew it, and that made it more valuable than the fanciest milkshake at the fanciest restaurant Butters could think of.
“How lucky,” he whispered, raising his hand to ruffle it through Kenny’s locks. He stirred from his sleep, chirping like a woken cat as of to ask, ‘What? I’m up.’
“Nothin, darlin’, I love you,” Butters said, pressing a gentle kiss into the very top of his head and tickling his nose with his hair, and Kenny hummed again.
“Love you too, baby,” he mumbled, smiling and nuzzling into his chest a bit more before sitting back up. With a big yawn and a stretch Kenny blinked rapidly, forcing himself up so that he could make the trek back home.
“Text me when you get home?” Butters said, feeling the cold absence of his boyfriend already, and Kenny swiped the empty cups and drink tray from the floor as he stood on woozy legs.
“Always,” he said, and with one last grin and a lazy salute with two fingers that made Butters laugh, he climbed back through the window, and headed off to play protector in his living room. The paper straw wrapper that Butters had torn was still on the ground, a remnant that they both missed, and Butters tied both halves to pull again. He got both wishes, and with one, he wished the other could go to Kenny instead.

hanleia + 22 for the cuddling prompt list ;)
Cuddles Prompts 22. In the water/in the bath
This is going to to be a Deleted Scene in Revenge of the Empire.
Leia was doing this to take care of Han. With all he had been through today, almost dying, being tortured this was going to help him, greatly. The warm water would take away his soreness in his muscles. Her running her hands over his body to clean the access carbonite that stuck to his skin would calm him.
Truth was, she needed this. She just needed these little reminders that he was still here with her. As Leia gently ran the washcloth, lathered with soap all over her husband’s body, Han stared keenly into her eyes. The typical look of wonder and love shined brighter in his Hazel orbs. After being this close to losing him, she reveled even harder in the feeling warmth, hotter than the water surrounding them at the pit of her stomach.
“You don’t have to do this,” Han said to her as Leia slowly lathered her hands with shampoo. “I should be taking care of you.”
“You always take care of me,” Leia responded, “Let me for once take care of you….this is a equal partnership remember.”
She slipped her hands into Han’s wet light brown locks, as she scrubbed in the soapy substance he hummed and closed his eyes. She made sure she lightly ran her fingernails across across his scalp. Leia smiled. He always liked when she did that.
A few minutes of her fingers running through every inch of his scalp she poured the water gently over his head to rinse out the shampoo.
“You know….those technicians did well with that new hand of yours,” Han said fluttering his eyes open, “you still have that magic touch darling.” She felt the warm water of the bathtub lap against her sides as his large hands settled on her hips. “Then again I would have been content even if it wasn’t the same anyway….after all…” He paused and rested his cheek against hers. “I thought I was never going to have a moment like this again.”
The breath caught in Leia’s throat as the water around her suddenly became ice cold. Leia could hear it again. Vader’s breathing, the hiss of the machine. She could feel the hot steam that came from the Carbon freezing chamber brush against her face. The closest she ever came to losing him.
And because she refused to be tempted to the Dark Side.
Fuck, Leia thought as the tears burned in her eyes, I promised myself I wouldn’t…I need to be strong for him…he was the one.
She felt one of Han’s hands leave her hip and slip under her chin. Slowly he tilted her head towards his. A small reassuring smile formed his lips.
“Hey it’s okay I’m here,” Han murmured brushing his thumb against her cheek, “I am not going anywhere. I promise.”
Leia couldn’t get anymore closer to him that she was, settled on his lap, in the luxurious bathroom in their temporary quarters on Bespin. But she wrapped her arms around him and pushed herself closer against him. Her breasts pushing against his chest, her legs wrapped around his waist. Her head settled against his shoulder.
“So much for taking care of you,” Leia sighed nuzzling her head into his neck.
“You are taking care of me,” Han said happily as he kissed the crown of her head. “just you being here makes me forget about what happen and think about what I have…the most beautiful woman in the galaxy.” Leia smiled taking a deep inhale of his scent…another reminder that he was here. “Do you mind if we stay here for a while.”
“Of course,” She answered. It didn’t matter where she was as long as she was with him.
And so they stayed. Limbs wrapped around one another. Leia closed her eyes. She let everything from that horrible moment fade. The steam from the Carbon chamber became the steam from the warm water. The sound of chaos was the sound of water, and his breathing.
After a long day in hell….this was what she needed.

16 beautiful golden blond hair color ideas
A golden blond hair color is a multi-colored hair color, which represents a mixture of honey-colored, golden and buttery blond tones. With a warm, luxurious treasure in your hair you will always enjoy this color.
Proper and first-class care is required to extend the shine of Goldblond. Brighter and brighter hair colors require moisture to prevent damage. Using home-made products such as deep care and color-safe shampoos and conditioners will help preserve your sunny shades and avoid brass.
Luster and dimension: These come naturally with golden strands, especially if you style your mane with waves. Marvel at how natural Beyonce, Emily Blunt and Karlie Kloss' golden manes look!
You will be amazed how this shimmering color immediately radiates and radiates your skin!
Wear the sunbeams directly on your curls with a golden blond hair. Experience the golden glow, if you try one of these popular colors!
Rose Gold Blonde on long hair
How would you describe this look?
I would call the color below matte gold Balayage, as it is more of a muted gold with light mahogany hints. I like it the most, when, unlike traditional gold tones, it blends smoothly with creamy blond, as mahogany helps to keep the brass at bay and give the customer a color that is not very easy to look after, but still has a nice look offers.
Any advice for someone who thinks about it?
This color began her life as Ash Blonde. If I recommend this color, I would recommend it to someone who is already blond, but wants to move away from the colors that everyone else wears. This color and style fits all hair styles as well as personalities. I would not suggest skin tones on an olive basis, as the colors come into conflict.
The use of products on a professional basis keeps this color optimal. The customer uses a color-saving shampoo and a conditioner with a thermal protector for each styling.
Blonde highlights on brown hair
How would you describe this look?
This look is like a golden chandelier, but has enough warmth and lightness to enhance many skin tones and hair lengths. The key is "brighter" at the front and softer at the back.
Any advice for someone who thinks about it?
If someone has a pale skin, there is enough darkness to refresh him without feeling washed out, or if he has a darker skin, there is enough brightness to enhance his tones, but not to wash it again. It's a great balance, but the parts around the face draw attention to the eyes.
Styling – gentle waves for higher cheekbones to pull them deeper, tight curls for lower cheekbones. It's all about drawing attention to the eyes. Curls or waves draw attention to eyes, cheekbones or jaws, just like make-up.
Products to use include good cream heat protection for frizzy hair for moisture and suppleness, and lightweight spray heat protection for finer hair for added strength.
In combination with a straight ING iron or curling tongs, you will get the best results after combing with a wide tooth comb and some hair spray for extra sexuality.
Warm blonde for curly hair
How would you describe this look?
This look is an effortless sun-drenched golden blonde with her beautiful natural, springy curls. I like how natural these balayage highlights are. It gives her the beautiful effect of being in the sun all summer, as we did as children. I'm absolutely obsessed with how bouncy and alive her curls are. I love how a great, personalized Ouidad haircut can change a person's look and love into their own curls in minutes.
Any advice for someone who thinks about it?
I have been cutting curly hair for about 5 years. It has its trials and sorrows like any hair type. But if I give them this Ouidad cut and teach them how to style their hair, they can never look back or return to a normal haircut. For these people, it really is life changing, which makes my work so rewarding to me. Anyone considering making their lives easier and just start enjoying these beautiful natural curls must at least try this entire Ouidad process. Only then will they see the amazing transformation and ease it takes to love and appreciate your curls as much as I do. Oh and sprinkle a bit of gorgeous balayage for the dimension. You will never return!
Bright golden blonde on short hair
How would you describe this look?
How cute is this trendy Beachy Bob? My client has a finer texture and wanted a change with low maintenance. She can easily add a salt spray / texture spray, scrunch and a few tousled curls to create this beach hair. This is perfect for living in Southern California, as we are always on the move, enjoying our beaches and the sunshine.
This look is great for just about anyone looking for a fun and flirty active lifestyle. The decision for the not too short, not too long Beach Bob can be restrictive for round faces. Keep your face a bit longer and not up to your chin as it makes your face look rounder. Also, super-long hair is not suitable for diamond-shaped faces, but the Beach Bob is the luckiest and trendiest medium of all haircuts and flatters any shape.
Any advice for someone who thinks about it?
I always suggest using a deep conditioner every two weeks, especially here in San Diego with our outdoor lifestyle and hard water. Blondes need more moisture when using salt sprays that can dry our hair out.
Dark to Bright Golden Blonde Ombre
How would you describe this look?
The way I would describe this look is a subtle balayage. I've used a technique called "balayage" and these are hand-painted highlights with tone enhancers. This is how we create a soft look. Then I used Kevin Murphy Color Line. I have tinted with ice, beige and nature to give my guest an even more natural look. Finally, we blow dry your hair and add some curls with a 1-inch iron.
Any advice for someone who thinks about it?
If you want a "natural look", use a balayage root blot and more of a natural toner to achieve what you want.
Brown blond on medium-long hair
How would you describe this look?
What I love most about a balayage is that it is so natural and versatile that anyone can have it! My customers love how pretty it is and that they do not have to commit themselves to having their color constantly improved. This was done on virgin hair, so it's a much more subtle version of a balayage.
Any advice for someone who thinks about it?
As for the advice for that particular color, it's definitely perfect for people who want a "change," but do not want to go crazy. It's great for virgin hair to give the customer a feel for the process, but it does not take him that far from his natural look if he decides he does not want to do it again. And if they love it, it's easy to build on it and make the highlights brighter, brighter, or even in different tones. I encourage my clients to play with different shades as soon as they get a sense that the color is on their hair.
Golden highlights on black hair
How would you describe this look?
I think this golden balayage is elegant and sexy. Most people today are afraid of warm tones, but I love both warm and cool tones.
Any advice for someone who thinks about it?
Everyone can wear this because the tone can be adapted to the skin tone. I would say investigate and find someone who knows what he is doing. Invest in your hair! You carry it every day.
Honey blonde on wavy hair
How would you describe this look?
This is a natural golden blond hair color. It is modern and yet effortless.
Any advice for someone who thinks about it?
I always recommend considering maintenance before you can choose a look and keep up with it. If the tones and styles are complementary and if not, I suggest a great version for each person.
Ash blond on shoulder-length hair
How would you describe this look?
We've been concentrating mainly on mixing her shades of gray, giving her an overall youthful look. In conclusion, we agreed that the lowest maintenance option for their needs is baby lamps, which lend their color dimensions and the sun-kissed look we all seek! What could be better than using a mix of gold and ash ?!
For the finishing touch, I cut her hair into a shoulder-length, blunt haircut for a thicker look. I've also added some beach waves for a more flattering and trendy look.
Any advice for someone who thinks about it?
I would recommend this look to anyone who wants to improve their features as it suits every face shape and size. The haircut and hairstyle add volume and make the lower half of the face appear thinner.
Recommended "Be-YOU-Tiful" Maintenance: Make sure you are using a colorfast, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. At first, stay away from bathing in extremely hot showers. Consider a hair mask and oils for your weekly routine to nourish and regenerate your hair. Keep your blow-dry, curls and other forms of heated styling methods to a minimum and it is preferable to air dry if possible. Consider regularly trimming to keep the hair healthy and fresh.
Darkblond
How would you describe this look?
I've cut and dyed her hair – so I would call that a golden makeover! My favorite thing is definitely how easy the golden blonde hair color is. With a few inches of new growth, it was a long date, but now it's slightly windy with a baby-light technique and a warmer toner. Heat keeps getting longer and fades better than ash tones!
Any advice for someone who thinks about it?
Golden blonde hair color is perfect for those who want a low-maintenance, naturally warmer blond tone. The cut is great for customers who like to wash and go, or for customers who spend more than 20 minutes before the day with the styling!
Mittelblond
How would you describe this look?
For this particular customer, it grew about 6 to 8 inches, and its middle shanks / ends had old black box dyes. Luckily she did not want an ash blonde, but a beautiful golden blonde! Personally, I think that golden blondes are overlooked because customers hear gold and think yellow like a banana.
This golden hair color is natural honey, supplemented with butterscotch tapes. It has all the warmth in all right tones. The cut was very minimal as we wanted the color to be the star of the show. We've added a thick face frame and a side bang to her face to give her more style when she wears it down, also because she has amazing cheekbones that we wanted to highlight. She is the mother of two boys and sometimes she just has to vomit and get started, so the shorter texture on her face still gives her a more stylish look! My favorite thing about this color is how it looks like its natural color, as if it were born with it. It will grow out very seamlessly.
Any advice for someone who thinks about it?
Go for the gold (pun intended)! Hair color should be fun, and gold tones do not have to be scary or intimidating. Often clients want these bright blondes, but what they do not realize is that they need gold to get that bright blonde. Gold-blonde hair reflects light and gives the customer's face a very beautiful glow. Golden blondes are available in different shades that can be tailored to each individual customer. I definitely think that there is a sound for everyone!
Caramel blond hair with lowlights
Be a southern beauty courtesy of colorist Suzy! The warm glow of the honey-colored ends makes the whole look perfect.
Golden highlights on brown hair
Imitate a natural, brunette glow by giving your hair light brown accents. Now you can have twice as much fun!
Bright gold
The classic golden blond hair with full bangs is really timeless. The waves, the pony and the solid color make up a youthful package.
Blonde and strawberry red balayage
Rich honey with champagne-colored stripes. The Tight lures shoulder-length hair and a pair of pony to end this appearance.
Golden blond hair color in Balayage
Any lighter accent would complement the brunette hair so wonderfully. The blonde Balayage seems to be the star of the show.

BEGT ch. 8
Chapter 1 - Chapter 2 - Chapter 3 - Chapter 4 - Chapter 5 - Chapter 6 - Chapter 7 - Chapter 8 AO3 mirror
The commute back to school is significantly more crowded during the middle of the day, with most seats occupied and some passengers standing, clasped to poles or hand rails. Despite this, Toshinori is somehow able to charm their way into the two seats against the wall again, probably with the help of Aizawa looking injured and grumpy behind him. A few pairs of eyes are on the two travelling teachers this time, but Aizawa doesn't seem to mind when that long arm wraps around his shoulders again, keeping him steady for the length of the commute. Hidden in a bit of a disguise between the powered-down form, a trench-coat, and Eraserhead covered in bandages, eventually they fade back into obscurity from the disinterested observers, and Aizawa leans in against All Might's side once again, not saying a word. Rather than falling asleep this time, though, he reads over Toshinori's shoulder as the taller teacher scrolls through the morning's news on his phone. It thankfully remains free of anything too terrible or local, and would hopefully stay that way for the remainder of Shota's healing period.
After he finishes catching up, Toshinori flips to a game of Sudoku, and Aizawa follows along with his eyes for a while before he grows bored of the pace and switches to a bit of light teasing. "So... 'little Yagi,' huh?" (more under the cut)
All Might stiffens in his seat, fingertips digging into Eraserhead's shoulder as he coughs up a bit of blood and then queasily swallows it back down again, glaring at Aizawa with a scowl. "Don't be like that, now. Mrs. Ogawa is an old friend of the family. She watched me grow up, and... I guess the nickname just stuck, despite my best efforts to grow out of it." He tries to relax, and gives a silent apology by rubbing over the area he'd squeezed at too firmly.
"Uh huh. So that's what caused your gigantism, is it?" He chuckles and gently nudges Yagi in the ribs, then leans in against him with a soft sigh as the train sways around the corner, letting his gaze drift out the window to watch the skyscrapers whiz by. "So how did you end up as her next-door neighbor?"
"Oh, that was some incredibly lucky timing. She'd heard that I was looking to move back into town, about a year ago, and let me know the instant there was a vacancy. To this day I still wonder if she might not have had a hand in that vacancy somehow, especially with it being right across the hall like that..." All Might laughs nervously, then shakes his head. "But aside from that, it really is nice to have her there. Apart from Gran Torino, she's the closest person I still have to a parent, even if our paths don't usually cross too often." The two passengers fall silent for another moment, Toshinori staring down stonily at his phone until it idles into darkness, before he turns to regard Aizawa with a gentle tone, "What about you? What's your family like?"
Aizawa is silent for so long that the question hangs between them, about to fade away into 'don't ask' territory, before he finally speaks. "I don't actually know. I lost contact with my mother and sister shortly after my quirk developed, and... I don't keep tabs on my old man. To my knowledge, there isn't anybody else." His tone of voice makes it apparent that this is not a favorite subject.
Toshinori grimaces and tries to reply without making it worse. "Gosh, Shouta, I'm sorry to hear it..." He squeezes once more around his friend's shoulders, pulling him into a bit of a hug. "I know how lonesome it can be to live alone, even if it is a luxury. That's... part of the reason I wanted to help you out like this, actually."
"Thanks, Yagi." While Aizawa may not be able to crane his neck to look up at his temporary caretaker, he does try his best to smile at him from under the gauze. "You're helping more than you probably realize."
It's nearly time for lunch period by the time the two arrive, and the students are starting to file indoors from their morning bout of training for the Sports Festival. Toshinori tugs at the lapel of the trench-coat, trying to keep from being noticed as he and Aizawa head for the teacher's lounge and the nurse's office, respectively. All Might uses the privacy of the lounge to make a call to Thirteen to talk over his idea for playing a villain role during their simulation, and then to change costumes for the part. Aizawa joins Aoyama in the nurse's office, giving the fashion-savvy lad an incredulous eyebrow raise. "How did you manage to get yourself hurt on day one of training?"
Yuga only tilts his head proudly into the ice pack he's holding up to his noggin, flashing his teacher a dazzling smile. "Why, I must have made too good a target, of course!"
"Whatever. When you're done recovering, meet the rest of your class in the cafeteria already; make sure you're fed before we head back to the USJ this afternoon." Aizawa watches him go once Recovery Girl is done with him, then sits up a little straighter when she turns to join him by the bedside.
"So?" Recovery Girl smiles coyly as she pulls up her chair and starts to take down Aizawa's vitals, "How was your first night staying with All Might?" She shines a small flashlight into his eyes for a second, then frowns and administers a few eye-drops into each one.
Eraserhead leans back to accommodate, blinking in the refreshing liquid, then sits back up and tilts his head a little. "It was... surprisingly nice, actually. A little rocky at first, since he wasn't expecting company at home and hadn't been taking very good care of himself, but it improved quickly enough. He's every bit as considerate as I didn't really expect him to be." Remembering the tender gestures (an arm around his shoulders, a shared love of cats, a breakfast in bed), Aizawa can't help but smile to himself. "He's a little more touchy-feely than I would usually allow." Seeing Chiyo's concerned frown, he quickly corrects, "Not like that. He's been nothing but a gentleman, nothing inappropriate beyond what's necessary to get the job done."
The nurse nods appreciatively, both surprised and not, to hear that Toshinori is actually living up to his word, even in this regard. "You do seem to be more well-rested than yesterday. And if I might say, Shouta, your hair looks a lot better than it has in my recent recollection. Healthier."
Aizawa follows her gaze, going cross-eyed to get a better look at the bangs hanging in his peripheral vision. He huffs good-naturedly, and blows the lock of hair to the side. "Amazing what a couple shampoos and a deep conditioning will do. He really went all out."
Recovery Girl laughs to herself, glad to hear that a spark of connection has drawn these two isolated teachers a little bit closer together, even if mostly by chance. Leaning forward in her chair to plant a healing kiss to Aizawa's forehead, she worries softly, "And you said he wasn't taking care of himself?"
The stoic hero droops a little as a new wave of exhaustion flows over him, and shakes his head. "He mentioned having almost no stomach? That he's supposed to be snacking almost constantly, but has trouble sticking to it. It sounds like he'd been letting himself get horribly under-nourished. I'm hoping I can encourage him to get better about it, but... if there's anything you can do to bolster up better habits here at school too, it would probably be for the best."
She nods and tugs at the loops of Eraserhead's scarf, unbuckling the hidden brace to carefully inspect his neck with her fingertips. "I'll speak to Nezu about making some additional arrangements. Is this still sore?"
"Not anymore, thanks." He takes a moment to slowly stretch his newly-freed neck in all directions, appreciating the reacquired mobility. It would certainly make 'typing' much easier. "I'd better get going, they'll be waiting for me by now." He pushes back up onto his feet and bids goodbye for the day, then heads back to Class 1-A, ready to usher them onto the bus back to the USJ for a (hopefully) more successful try at the rescue lesson which had wound up setting them down this path in the first place.
It's a little eerie, the sense of deja vu which settles over the class as Thirteen greets them again, All Might goes missing again, and Aizawa dismisses his absence nonchalantly again. But the first rescue exercise goes off without a hitch, and the fake villain ploy resolves into a spectacular show-down, even getting Todoroki in on the mischief in his own way. The emotional fallback is about what Aizawa had expected, but nothing too terrible. And once again, Midoriya winds up as the only casualty, with his strange self-harming quirk. All in all, not a bad day at all. Aizawa ends up asking Thirteen to escort the class back to the main UA campus, while he stays behind to help free All Might from Mineta's trap. He reminds the students of their homework due in two days, praises them for their good work in the USJ, and allows them to leave for home early once they've checked back in on main campus. He watches them go, still mentally re-playing the excellent shows of teamwork they'd displayed throughout the lessons. As the bus pulls away, Aizawa turns back to All Might.
"Well that went about as expected. I hope you learned not to toy with others' emotions like that again." He shuffles closer and sighs, "So now we have two options. We can wait it out until Mineta's quirk wears off, which could be an hour or so... Maybe even break that slab into chunks, if that would help. Or," He leans in to get a better perspective of the positioning, "It looks like you could just release your 'All Might form' and slip out of the clothes, leave them behind."
All Might sputters and coughs up a splatter of blood onto the concrete slab, straining back to get a better look at Aizawa. "That would be the more logical option, yes, since by now Mineta's quirk will surely outlast mine. You're sure you can't just neutralize it?"
Aizawa shakes his head. "I'd erase his ability to grow back the new spheres instantaneously. It wouldn't affect the spheres themselves."
The pinned hero sighs and gently butts his forehead against the back of the villain mask, the tell-tale trails of steam already starting to waft up from his muscles. "Very well, then. Don't look."
Aizawa quirks an eyebrow and shifts his weight to one foot. "Really. We're surrounded by cameras, you know, and I don't have the access to turn them off. Plus, you've already seen ME naked, so fair's fair, right?" He smirks and taps his foot, amused by the sudden bout of bashfulness from the most outgoing man he's ever met.
Toshinori shoots Aizawa a dirty look as he poofs back to his smaller profile, then pulls his hands free of the gloves and ducks out of the now-loose turtleneck shirt, leaving it and the spiked shoulder guards hanging from the spheres on the slab. He unbuckles his own utility belt, then tries to bend over to untie his boots, but can only manage to get to one of them. He tries to slip his foot free but curses softly when he finds that it's not stuck to the concrete. Without being asked, Aizawa approaches and uses his foot to hold the shoe still while All Might pulls his own foot out and shimmies the pants down over his hips, careful not to accidentally touch any of the leftover spheres, then swings his leg free and stoops to awkwardly get his other foot loose too. Aizawa stands idly by, his grin widening by increments at first the absurdity of the positioning, then at the bald eagles printed on the fabric of Yagi's boxers. "I guess it's a good thing I stashed my trench-coat here, instead of back at the main campus," the nearly-nude teacher grumbles and slips his shoes back on, meandering off to a nearby decrepit building to go get his coat.
Aizawa shakes his head and laughs softly to himself, though quickly sobering as he really starts to get a whole picture of the war-weathered, emaciated body of the Symbol of Peace. He had seen that gruesome abdominal scar up close, after all, as Toshinori had struggled to free himself. It made the erasure hero cringe internally at the sight of it... No wonder Yagi was reluctant to show it off. Shouta makes a mental note to ask Thirteen to return All Might's cargo pants and turtleneck once they'd fallen to the ground, as the space hero would probably end up being the one to tidy up the USJ for its next usage. And, on second thought, they would probably want to have this last bit of footage erased from the cameras, too.

Youthful Genesis Review
In Egypt cosmetics were no luxury, but something within everyone's reach. The only difference was in the quality of the products used. Both men and women followed the latest fashions in hairstyles and makeup, which not only used for aesthetic reasons, but also therapeutic, because they thought that the ointments had magical and healing effects. The cosmetics helped protect the skin against the burning sun of Egypt, and another curious advantage is that they repel the flies. In fact they were given so much importance that they were even admitted by the workers as a salary supplement.
You can check out this Youthful Genesis Review here: http://healthybrags.com/youthful-genesis/

Perfume hair brushes:
Coco Chanel said that women should wear perfumes in those places where they liked to be kissed. At that time and as now, the aroma that each person wore was very important, that is why it was used a lot to flavor the combs so that the hair had a subtle now to perfume, without damaging it when applied directly.
Vaseline in the eyes:
Formerly Vaseline was applied on the eyelids, to then cover them with makeup. This was done to have a greater fixation of makeup, however, now there are specific products for that, but Vaseline will always be a good choice.

Before there were no hair curling machines. And the women chose to roll their wet hair into pieces of cloth, which they left during the night while they slept. The good thing about this trick is that the curls are much more natural and the hair is not damaged.
