Something I would add onto this is the inclusion of Kaeden and Miara and the Martez Sisters. like yeah, so much missed potential and they focus on the wrong things about Ahsoka.

So I’m not sure what the episode number was, but I’m watching Clone Wars and last night was watching the Onderon rebellion plot in s5. Ahsoka is clearly having some big feelings about Lux and Steela and the Jedi are about to leave the planet and wanna put her in charge of overseeing/protecting the rebels. And Ahsoka is looking very 😐 and Anakin just goes “do you wanna stay here or go back to Coruscant, Snips?” And like that was so sweet??? It almost made me 🥹? Cuz the order needed more masters concerned about their padawans like that? And when she’s having her feelings and he later tells her he understands, that’s so validating instead of just skipping straight to “bury your feelings” (lookin at you, Obi Wan)? Like that was so emotionally mature and pre-dark side anakin is such a good person in an order that can be very extremist even though they think they’re not and so isolating and lonely and fucked up and very bad about systemically using people and then discarding them, then hiding behind the “oh it’s the Jedi way/will of the force”??? Like he and Ahsoka didn’t deserve to get treated the way they were at all???

Fluffbruary Day 11
Anniversary
Spoiler: This is an excerpt from The Chosen Twins
Ahsoka Tano
It’s been a year since we first came to Onderon. It’s fall now, though it’s a bit cooler than I remember from before. Onderon time, actually, it’s been over a year. Before it was late summer, now, it’s early fall.
“It’s been a year since you came here to help us,” Lux says, smiling, “I thought I should come over.”
“Has it really?” I ask. It doesn’t feel like that long. It feels like longer. “That was a while ago.”
“I wanted to thank you,” Lux replies, “For everything you did for us.”
“It’s what we do.” I wish I could have done more. “Thank you for coming by.”
“Of course,” he replies, reaching out and taking my hand, interlinking our fingers. He’s free with affection, and I’m glad he doesn’t have a problem pursuing it. I don’t, either, but still, I’m not always comfortable with it. “I was thinking I could take some time off and we could spend time together. It’s hard to be away so much.”
“The more time you spend here, the more danger it puts you in,” I have to point out.
“It doesn’t matter,” he assures, and I don’t know if its better or worse that I can tell he means it. “I want to be with you.”
My heart swells with adoration and gratitude. “Thank you.”
“Of course, Ahsoka.”

@assaultmech71 I'm putting this in a separate post because it IS a little off topic and that particular post is becoming fairly long and unwieldy as it is.
Part of my dislike of Luxsoka (and Lux in general) stems from my dislike of the episode he's introduced in. Heroes on Both Sides is supposed to show us that there's genuinely good people with legitimate grievances on the Separatist side and that Ahsoka is like... being kind-of ignorant by assuming all of the Separatists are evil assholes. However this is done SO SO BADLY the entire way through. I've talked about Mina Bonteri's whole sob story about her husband on some sort of base that got attacked by the clones and how unbelievable it is that the clones apparently just attacked an innocent base full of innocent people or something. There's NO WAY that Mina's husband wasn't involved in something either war-related or just sketchy and evil.
Lux on the other hand is sitting there being paralleled with Ahsoka where they're supposed to recognize that their lack of knowledge of the other side has caused them to be a little prejudiced towards each other. But while Lux has never actually met any Jedi and is making his entire opinion based on a lot of propaganda, Ahsoka HAS met Separatists, they just come in the form of military generals usually. Lux I think specifies "any Separatists who AREN'T military leaders" which is pretty unfair because those military personnel are STILL military leaders and effectively Ahsoka's counterpoint within the Separatist organization. Ahsoka has seen these people who claim to fight on behalf of the Separatist government do some absolutely heinous shit to actual innocent civilians (she's there for the incident with the Lurmens, the Blue Shadow Virus, Ryloth, and the Holocron Heist arc at this point). Ahsoka has genuine evidence to believe that the Separatists are, at best, ignorant of what's being done in their name, and at worst complicit in these actions being perpetrated by their military. Ahsoka isn't naive or ignorant the way Lux is, it's not a fair comparison. So their entire connection here is based on what amounts to a lie.
Lux also literally gives Ahsoka a once over when she bandies his own words back at him and asks him if she looks evil, which is juvenile and gross. And yes, he IS juvenile and Ahsoka does call him out on it a little, but still. It's not exactly a GREAT first impression here.
So basically a large part of the reason I hate him is because his entire introduction is just really really stupid and he represents this radically unfair perspective on the Jedi at this point just to make a point that isn't even ENTIRELY true.
Then we come to their second meeting where the whole episode ends with them saying they were a "good team" except that Lux fucks up approximately 20 different times and Ahsoka has to keep saving his ass and doing all the work. And Lux also betrays her like 4-5 separate times, he slaps her ass and acts like a misogynist to keep up an act with DEATH WATCH, apparently doesn't know or just doesn't care that Death Watch are literal terrorists, and is just overall completely awful and useless the whole time. They're not a good team, he's just a massive fuck up with delusions of grandeur who Ahsoka has to keep bailing out of danger over and over again.
He's better by their third meeting during the Onderon arc, but by then whatever feelings he may have had for Ahsoka seem to have faded and he's got a new girlfriend he's focused on and Ahsoka ultimately lets him go. But she's also JEALOUS of Steela for a while and it's impossible to figure out what she's even jealous OF. Like babygirl, I'm so frustrated with you right now, but you can STILL do better than Lux Bonteri. At least she decides to just move on by the end and we never see him again.
So yeah, Lux is a terrible person, a terrible love interest for Ahsoka, and Luxsoka is a fuck awful ship and I'm just so glad it got abandoned before it actually went anywhere and never came back.

Random Thoughts on Star Wars Ships (Part One)
First, I’m going to focus on toxic Star Wars ships that I absolutely despise. There are three. They are all canon. Some of them are more serious than others, but all of them are incredibly pernicious and problematic. To say they’re my “least favorite” would be selling my hatred of them short, but yeah… the word “loathe” comes to mind. They are as follows:
1.) Luxsoka (aka Ahsoka Tano and Lux Bonteri)
This is my least favorite ship of them all because watching it unfold at times was physically painful. Part of me doesn’t understand it, but the other part of me knows that it was likely just a tepid attempt by Filoni egged on by Lucas to make Ahsoka more relatable. It didn’t work.
I guess the premise didn’t start out too bad with “Heroes on Both Sides” aside from the fact that it sort of felt forced and completely unnecessary, but holy fuck did it go off the rails fast!
Lux’s behavior in “A Friend in Need” was completely unacceptable and inexcusable. I mean, less than 10 minutes into that episode, Lux is threatening to shoot Ahsoka with a deadly firearm, followed by him stunning her unconscious, stealing her ship, hiding her lightsabers from her, then meeting up with known terrorists with anti-Jedi sentiment and history of violence against Jedi. Then, there’s the unwanted kiss. He just sort of grabs her and kisses her against her will to shut her up. She tries to wiggle herself out of it, and when she finally succeeds you can tell she’s PISSED. Rightfully so. Technically, that’s sexual assault. The episode ends with Ahsoka somehow being more fond of him, I guess… I assume it’s related to trauma. I don’t know.
Anyway, the last time we see them together is in the Onderon arc, Lux has fallen for and appears to be in a romantic relationship with Steela Gerrera, and Ahsoka finds a way get over him, which, good for her. It takes two episodes (of a four episode arc) of her being completely insufferable, but she gets there. Ahsoka deserved better anyway. By the end of the arc, she sort of does this attaboy shoulder slug to Lux after Steela kisses him for luck. By that point, Ahsoka probably also found Steela to be pretty hot, and at least one of them got to kiss her. Steela should have kissed you, Ahsoka, but we can’t win them all.
Filoni basically said he was experimenting with this anyway, and I would say that this particular experiment was an abject failure. I’m just glad that it fizzed out before it ever became anything. It was trash. Utter fucking trash.
2.) Anidala (aka Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala)
This is another toxic relationship that I don’t really understand. No. I mean, I do get it. It’s a plot point that gets us to a specific place in a character’s development.
It’s unfortunate really. Padme is supposed to be this badass strong, independent woman, and yet, she blatantly ignores countless red flags during “Attack of the Clones” that should have made her turn away… Anakin being generally creepy, crossing her boundaries, frequently interrupting her, admitting to being a dictatorial fascist… I guess I could technically write all of that off because sometimes your brain short-circuits when you’re in love, and you miss red flags. But… genocide? That was a bridge too far. She should have ran. She should have reported the incident to the Jedi council, but she didn’t because she’s “in love” and actually just a prop.
Their relationship didn’t get much better during the Clone Wars. Anakin guilted her often when she chose duty over desire, something her role in the galaxy required. It was also pretty apparent that Anakin didn’t trust her as far as he could throw her based on the way he acted during the Rush Clovis arcs. There was a point where it felt like their relationship should have ended during season six. Padme needed a break, and told Anakin that she just couldn’t do it anymore after Anakin brutally beat the dog shit out of Clovis. But then, more trauma. Maybe the moral of the story is to avoid “romantic” relationships when you’re in the midst of a traumatic experience because it’s going to end badly, I don’t know.
Then he kills her in “Revenge of the Sith”. Well. He force chokes her and she dies of a broken heart… and then he proceeds to lose his shit, force crushing an entire room with overwhelming emotion (say what you will about the Jedi and their obsession with not forming attachments and overcoming feelings but… *gestures vaguely at this incident right here*).
It’s just an incredibly disastrous toxic sludge of a relationship. And, I know I was more vague about this one, but honestly, I could write a novel about it… so, I’ll spare you.
3.) Reylo (aka Rey Palpatine/Skywalker and Kylo Ren)
I hate this one too… mainly because Kylo tells Rey that she’s “nothing” except to him in “The Last Jedi” and that bothers me. This is something a narcissist might say to someone they’re abusing and gaslighting in an attempt to make them stick around, and that is just gross.
If Rey had actually been a nobody, it may have been less offensive, but she’s a fucking Palpatine. She’s not a nobody. Her grandfather (who isn’t actually her “grandfather” as her father was just a Palpatine clone, and goddamn, I’m going to need a better explanation for all of that shit because it just makes me dizzy, but I digress) was an oppressive emperor that reigned in terror for decades. She’s far from a nobody. In fact, Kylo’s grandfather (actual grandfather, not a clone) was Palpatine’s bitch. He should at least show her a little respect.
He was also generically mean to her during the entire sequel trilogy.
This one ended in death too, but at least it was Kylo’s and not Rey’s death. Again, Rey exhibited this weird mental exercise where she sees Kylo Ren and Ben Solo as two different people instead of them being one-in-the-same (much like the mental gymnastics that everyone does with Vader), so she tries to validate the whole thing. But, he’s an asshole too. She should have faced it.

"The comprehensive [factually incorrect] analysis of Ahsoka-related AO3 shipping tags no one asked for" - fixed that for you.
You posted a lot of graphs, fourteen in fact, so I'll do some quick de-cluttering.
Ahsoka/Rex is literally the fifth most popular non-platonic pairing on AO3 for The Clone Wars, tenth if you include platonic pairings. These are the prompts AO3 offers, based on numbers.
Ahsoka & Rex has less than three hundred more fics than Ahsoka/Rex, many of which have overlapped tags, but platonic fics will generally not receive the / tag.
Further, three of her next four most popular pairings are with male characters, and combining those four does not surpass the number of Ahsoka/Rex fics.
Here are the top numbers for Ahsoka Tano non-platonic pairings as of January 7, 2023, without using fourteen graphs that don't properly weigh the relevance of the raw data:
1442 - Ahsoka/Rex - female/male
564 - Ahsoka/Barriss - female/female
424 - Ahsoka/Anakin - female/male
214 - Ahsoka/Maul - female/male
152 - Ahsoka/Lux - female/male
129 - Ahsoka/Kaeden - female/female
Using basic math, of the top six pairings:
2232 - female/male
693 - female/female
Using more basic math, after the top pairing, which is Ahsoka/Rex, there are still 97 more female/male pairings than female/female pairings out of next top five ships.
After that, the data is more or less irrelevant.
You've factored in outliers that should have been discarded and literally ignored the largest pairing. You can't give equal weight to each pairing and ignore the actual numbers.
This literally isn't how statistics work.
I'd say and you know it, but I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're not intentionally manipulating data to fit a particular conclusion and publicly sharing it as though it's correct just because you used a lot of graphs and formatting.
To say that the data wants Ahsoka to be gay is bi-erasure at best, and factually incorrect.
Statistics don't want Ahsoka to be gay, but OP has made it clear that they do. To be perfectly impartial, the statistics want Ahsoka to be with Rex.
This is your daily reminder not to believe everything you read on tumblr, even if it's nicely formatted.
The comprehensive analysis of Ahsoka-related AO3 shipping tags no one asked for
Abstract: The data wants Ahsoka to be gay
Methods: AO3′s surprisingly good tag search was used to list all Star Wars characters (defined as “characters with a page on Wookieepedia”) who share at least one two-person relationship tag with Ahsoka Tano. The number of works in a given “/” tag and “&” tag were recorded separately. The sex of each character was also recorded. Raw data downloadable here
First, a look at overall trends:
Figure 1: Total works sorted by tag type and sex of the paired character (A), tag type only (B), and sex of the paired character only ©. Significantly more works are part of “&” relationship tags than “/” relationship tags, and significantly more works pair Ahsoka with male characters than female characters.
Figure 2: Male character pairings only (A) and female character pairings only (B) sorted by tag type. While “&” works are more common than “/” works in male pairings (as is true of the works overall), “&” and “/” works are almost equal in female pairings.
Figure 3: Common pairings ranked by number of total works. Bars display the sum of “/” and “&” works (hereafter referred to as “total works”) for each character with total works ≥ 20. (A 20 work cutoff was chosen arbitrarily.) Bars are marked blue for male characters (M) and red for female characters (F).
Figure 4: Common pairings ranked individually by works with “&” tags (A) or “/” tags (B). Bars display the number of “/” or “&” works for each character with total works ≥ 20. Bars are marked to distinguish male characters (M) from female characters (F).
Even though the total number of works in female pairings is lower than that of male pairings, we can already begin to see a trend: While the top ranked “&” tags are mostly with male characters, the top ranked “/” tags are more evenly split male and female. I knew rexsoka was a thing I was not aware of the extent to which it’s a thing
Figure 5: Common pairings ranked by the frequency of “&” works to “/” works for each character with total works ≥ 20. Bar values = number ”&” works / number total works - 0.5. Therefore, a pairing with 100% “&” works and 0% “/” works has a value of 0.5, while a pairing with 100% “/” works and 0% “&” works has a value of -0.5, regardless of the number of total works. Bars are marked blue for male characters (M) and red for female characters (F).
The skew toward F/F over F/M becomes even more obvious here; when considering characters individually, female pairings generally contain a higher ratio of “/” works than male pairings. The only male character with more “/” works than “&” works is Lux. Maul’s doing his best tho
Figure 6: All clone pairings ranked by the frequency of “&” works to “/” works (see Figure 5). Most clone relationship tags only contain “&” works, with clones that feature more prominently in TCW tending to have a lower but still positive &:/ ratio. Four clones are exclusively in “/” tags. Interestingly, there is one work each for these “/” relationship tags for all of them except Howzer, who has 6. Go figure.
Figure 7: Rarepairs ranked by number of total works. Bars display the sum of works for each character with total works ≥ 3 but < 20 (cutoff was chosen arbitrarily). Bars are marked blue for male characters (M) and red for female characters (F). Rarepairs and common pairings display a similar frequency of female characters (38% vs. 34% female, respectively).
Figure 8: Rarepairs ranked individually by works with “&” tags (A) or “/” tags (B). Bars display the number of “/” or “&” works for each character with total works between 3 and 19. Bars are marked to distinguish male characters (M) from female characters (F).
Figure 9: Rarepairs ranked by the frequency of “&” works to “/” works for each character with total works between 3 and 19 (see Figure 5). Bars are marked blue for male characters (M) and red for female characters (F).
The trend for “&” tags to include male characters and “/” tags to include female characters is true for rarepairs as well as common ones. While the bulk of Ahsoka’s relationship tags are with male characters, female and male characters are more or less equally represented in the “/” tags.
Other miscellaneous items of note (as of writing):
Nyx, a character who doesn’t technically exist, and whom the Martez sisters replaced, has more total works than Rafa Martez
There is one more Ahsoka / Luke work than Ahsoka / Leia. C’mon folks don’t let the heteros win
Fortunately, Steela Guerra is beating Saw in the / front 24 to 5
Anakin | Vader edges out Anakin in the & works
While the tag exists, there are no works in the Ahsoka & Ahsoka’s Father tag
I was also surprised that there were no works in Ahsoka / Bail OR Ahsoka / Andor. Yet. There is, however, 1 work each in Ahsoka / Bail / Breha and Ahsoka / Andor / Kallus.
I am absolutely amazed Morgan Elsbeth (from the Mandalorian) only has one work with an Ahsoka relationship tag and it’s an &
I didn’t know I wanted Ahsoka / Holdo until I saw the tag. And there are NO WORKS IN IT. :( I was like they’re even the same age <3 and then I remembered that Ahsoka is actually ~15 years older than Holdo and then I had one (1) Feeling about Oldsoka
Limitations of the study:
Assumes all works on AO3 are tagged correctly, which they are not.
Data was gathered between 2022-11-18 and 2022-12-11. Data represents a snapshot and can not be used to predict trends over time
Similar tags (i.e. “Anakin | Vader” and “Darth Vader”) are treated separately

[IT WAS FOR APRIL FOOLS, DO NOT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY!]
Today I rethinked my life and I changed my mind about some things. I'm no longer Fox's fan! That bastard deserved to die for killing Fives and chasing Ahsoka.
This also means that foxiyo doesn't make sense! I mean, they even don't interact with each other and Riyo should be with a good man, not a murderer.
Also, I'm no longer rexsoka shipper! Antis are right, this ship is wrong and gross as hell. Luxsoka is canon (I really liked their kiss scene). Same with sabezra, it's literally found-family incest, I can't ship that any longer.
Thanks for reading my thoughts!
April fools! (Just in case, if someone take this seriously)
