- Favorite arcanum/magic type ✨

- I rather choose the moon magic. But I really like the moonlight magic was very powerful. In season 7. Lujanne gave the clothes to Runaan, at least she got the moon staff was belongs to the unknown Moonshadow mage from S1 in the beginning 🤭🌙.

- Lujanne was a Moon mage can only use her hands for cast the spell. We don't know who will hold the staff instead of unknown Moonshadow mage in 5000 years ago at the border during the war. Maybe Runaan was assassin for he'll use it or return it to the another new mage. ❣️💁

my personal headcanon for the blood debacle: callum and rayla were very dramatically arguing over who should do it and literally playing keep away with a knife, before a fed-up lujanne just wordlessly grabs it and takes a slice out of herself just to get them to stop

I have a future chapter of my between canon fic, Downtime’s Up, about procuring all the ingredients for the spell, and everyone helps out, Lujanne already supplies a weirdly musky-smelling scented candle (Runaan comes back confused why he smells like patchouli).

Allen pulls a random weed out of the cobblestones for the root, Phoe-Phoe donates a feather, Stella pulls a creepy bone of of her pocket dimension with the most innocent expression (What bone is it? Who’s bone is it? Why does she have a creepy bone? Stella: 😇)

So to keep the balance, gotta have Rayllum do the blood ritual/accidental Tidebound marriage, it’s gotta be done 🤷‍♀️

What is your opinion on Lujanne?

She makes an excellent feast, and she remembers all the old dances. A proper grandmotherly Moonshadow figure, in at least some of the ways that matter.

Also extremely good at jumpscaring, which I am... less enthusiastic about.

She keeps calling me "Runaaf" and I do not understand the joke. Rayla refuses to explain it to me as she is too busy laughing.

Since my last post abt Moonshadow genetics did well, I decided to try to figure out eye genetics 😬👍

Research Results:

From what I have gathered, it is probable that Moonshadow elves have three main phenotypes for iris melanin, which happen to be the primary colors of Blue, Red, and Yellow.

If we hypothesize that the sister dominant phenotype combinations (blue+red and red+yellow) result in true incomplete dominance (the colors blend together completely), then that would explain where the eye colors of purple and orange come from (brown as well, since brown is just a dark shade of orange).

Since Lain’s eyes are orange, he has a Red phenotype, and paired with Tiadrin’s Blue phenotype would create purple!

Since we have yet to see a Moonshadow elf with fully green eyes, it is reasonable to infer that although all the phenotypes show incomplete dominance with their nearest neighbor, the yellow phenotype is simply too weak to fully mix with blue, which would result in a blue eye color that leans towards green, but doesn’t cross the threshold to be considered fully green (e.x. Runaan with turquoise eyes, and Lunjanne with teal eyes)

Conclusion: It works???????
