“Oh, yes! Some of my favorite treats are pocky and mochi, which is probably why I picked those names for my children.” Inari laughed sheepishly.

“As for the second question, you must mean Ume? He and my son have been friends for a long time, well over a decade at this point.” Inari smiled fondly. “He is very much a trickster, but he has a wonderfully good heart. I consider him a sort of honorary son.”

Inari glanced around, as though looking for eavesdroppers, before whispering, “I don’t mean to change the subject but you… would not happen to have been human at one point, would you? I apologize if that’s a point of discomfort, but your aura is unusual.”

I feel like I couldn't do a Halloween outfit for Lucas without doing Sly Cooper first, he was one of the core inspirations after all. The Sly series is where it all started. My love for gaming, art, stories, why I went to school to become a developer.... most of my appreciation stems from my experiences playing the Sly Series. Sony may never make another Sly game (here's to hoping I'm wrong). Regardless, this series means a lot to me and here's to more years of serving as an inspiration to many. Happy Anniversary, Sly! (I know I'm late) and Happy Halloween!

Nocturnal - You Are My World.

Harmony ran as fast as she could through the forest. Her giant paws left footprints on the forest ground, but she gave it no mind.

Behind her a golden-brown wolf chases behind her, and the enormous wolf was hot on her tail.

The wolves ran through the forest ground, and branches, and jumped over logs.

They stopped at a pond.

Harmony shifted first, she popped her bones and stretched. She waited until her soulmate was finished.

Once Lucas transformed, she turned around to look at him.

His ocean eyes took in her full appearance, and he liked what he saw.

He walked close and looked down at her, Harmony closed her eyes and felt her cheeks warming.

She opened them to see Lucas' face was close to hers. “ Can I kiss you?” he asked.

Harmony nodded.

Lucas grabbed her chin tilted her head and leaned down to capture her lips with his.

Harmony felt all types of emotions.

He grabbed her and lifted her so she could wrap her legs around his waist. This way, the kiss could be more open, deeper, and more passionate.

Lucas and Harmony's lips moved in sync as their feelings were strong and seen through the kiss.

They both pulled away and gazed into each other's eyes.

Wow, this feeling was new and they never felt this before.

Their eyes seemed to say what they wanted to say out loud.

‘ I love you ’

Harmony was the first to pull away, she got down as Lucas smiled and grabbed her hand.

“ Harmony, would you like to be my girlfriend?”.

Heart shone in Harmony's eyes as she beamed at him.

“ Yes, I would love to”.

Lucas excited, crashed lips against hers as she happily kissed back.

They felt at home.

And that's where they were.

since i've been rewatching one tree hill (for the millionth time) i've been naturally thinking abt how a spn / destiel au would go but the problem is dean is simultaneously nathan-coded (crumbling under the pressure to live up to his dad's expectations, really just a softboy inside, falls in love fast and hard when it's real), peyton-coded (drives a big black car, dead mom trauma, really into music, makes mixtapes for their crushes) and a smidge lucas-coded (the mama's boy tendencies, likes to read fiction, the blonde brother). like i could see him being lucas, helping out mary at her cafe and hating john's guts. but sam just can't be nathan. it just doesn't work. and sam fits more w/ lucas' whole faux intellectual sensitive normie boy next door vibe. but for destiel then cas has to be the haley role if dean is mostly nathan. which would make cas childhood besties with...sam. but haley really does check off multiple boxes for cas like he most definitely would tutor dean, comes from a big family with tons of siblings and is lost in the shuffle, would also marry dean in a heartbeat after knowing him for like 3 months.

You were going to kill Lee Taemin, if the dean of your university didn’t do it first. This was all his fault. 

It all started at the beginning of the semester, when Lucas, your best friend and roommate, had told you during dinner he was helping your older friend, Taemin with an experiment for his Ph.D. You’d expected him to say he’d be handing out surveys on Main Street or trying some new diet and writing down the effects, or something along those lines. 

Nope, not at all. What he really said had thrown you for a loop. “Actually, I’m gonna be trying out some hybrid hormone pills he’s been working on that have finally been cleared for human testing.”

You’d choked on the pizza you were eating. “You’re going to do what!?” You cried when you finally managed to swallow your food.

“Dude, chill,” He answered, large hands waving back and forth passively, “Taemin hyung is 99% percent sure that they’re absolutely safe. I’m just supposed to go in for testing once a week and write down any side effects I feel, which, according to him, should be at most three or four, and they’re not even that major.”

“Okay…” You’d answered, quirking your head. You were still slightly wary, your ears twitching. “And Taemin’s like, completely sure they’re safe to eat?" 

Lucas nodded, demeanor completely casual. His calm expression did nothing to deter your concerns, mind going a mile a minute when a new thought popped into your mind.

“Yukhei, what kind of hybrid hormones are you even taking? Predator hybrids or prey hybrids?”

His smile had disappeared slightly, and his eyes left your face to stare down at his plate. Your stomach sank, and your foot started tapping in distress.

“Wong Yukhei. What kind of hormones are they gonna give you.”
