i notice the little changes as the results of consistent yoga...today is a magically appearing jawline and a noticeable difference (at least to me) in the topography of my neck to shoulders to arms...i haven't weighed myself in ages, but it's been good. i am more in tune with these slight changes and welcome them as they come and go. 💜 right now i feel like my world is a spinning globe and it's just waiting for me to place a finger on it to stop the rotation and land in a place where my soul is to be. ☝️💜🙏 #yoga #bodyfreedom #lovingmyselfloudly #mood #followyourbliss #creativeliving #selfie #changes #real

Supporting one another as we allow the rivers current to cleanse us after the most powerful weekend together 💖 • These are the moments I live for. • Would you believe me if I told you just 5 years ago I never would have considered removing my clothes in front of another woman. My insecurities & body hatred still ran my life, and I longed for the freedom to feel comfortable in my own skin. I would hear of women skinny dipping & immediately my thoughts would slip into judgement. But that judgement truthfully came from my insecurity & lack of personal freedom. I craved it, I wanted it & because I couldn't see it for myself I would slip into judgement masking my insecurities. Masking my truth. • Fast forward to now & I rarely think twice about stripping down or being free with my body. I've grown comfortable & confident in myself, while making space for others to do the same. This has become my normal & judgement no longer has a place in my life. Instead I celebrate the freedom & beauty of those around me. I honour their journey, uniqueness & strength, while doing the same for me. day 4 of #mayiloveme ❤ Asana: bow pose (though i had to be real with myself because i am not quite at bow pose level...so i have opted for this half moon variation thingamajiggy) what is something(s) you need to let go of? I need to let go of the expectation i keep on myself to just "do it all myself"...i need to learn when to ask for help. I would never expect my friend to try and do it all themselves in life, so why should i expect it of myself? Yeah i am fiercely independent, but can only be stretched out in all directions for so long. all we need is what we ALREADY have it's growth and gratitude from there... - - - I've been creating art for years mostly just sharing it on social media. I couple years back I was big into craft fairs, but quickly became discouraged because no one wanted to buy my stuff. I think i allowed too much of my negative self talk get to me because i kept telling myself that i would just make art for myself, for the sake of my sanity and stop putting myself out there so much...to keep my fear of rejection at bay...the past two weeks though my spark has been rekindled and I have started putting some of my stockpile of designs onto stickers. It's something small and a little different avenue for me to see my work. The only competition is with myself. - - So i went to the doctor yesterday and they had to weigh me because i had a sore throat...makes total sense. Anywhoo 🙄 the top row is from april 2016 (last time i weighed myself) and bottom row is june 2017. Guess what? The number on the scale is the same now as it was then. day 7 of #MayILoveMe Tomorrow's asana is scorpion of your choice. Ok so i know it's not #scorpion that's a bit out of my league in my personal practice at this time...i will get there some day.
