my body is currently gently reminding me that a macrobar at 8am, half a bag of peanut butter filled pretzels at 4pm, and then a snake meal of 5 slices of pizza at 8pm is not the right way to take care of it. also learning that as my body gets older, it will no longer abide by eating like an opportunistic scavenger rodent.

apples and peanut butter 3/5 i love apples and pb so much but i only really eat apples when theyre in season and this requires chopping an apple. extra good if dehydrated

pbj with chips in the middle 3/5 pretty good but theres kind of a lot of steps huh

yogurt with granola 3.5/5 this ones rock solid but its less reliable that will want to eat it. preferably with blueberries 🫐🩵

oreos and milk 4/5 so good but very hard to eat enough to call it a “meal.” more of a “depression snack”

trail mix 4/5 really good but you do have to eat so much trail mix

bagel with cream cheese 5/5 hits every time

Food: Calorie Deficit, 100% Plant Based, Nutrient-driven foods ✅

Water: Over 1 Gallon! ✅

Activity: Over 10k steps (BARELY but got there 😅) ✅

Sleep: 4.5 hours… trying for 6+ tonight (and therefore putting my phone away right after posting this) to move in the right direction 🤦🏻‍♀️

Worth noting, I’m feeling reaaaally good today and have been throughout the entire day (with the small exception of a little morning slump that a little caffeine and a Macrobar fixed right up!)

I didn’t do too bad today... I could’ve done better, though. There was no reason for me to have a candy bar, but luckily I had work tonight, so I hope that I burned most of it off. I work as a busser in a busy restaurant, so I’m constantly running around & burning calories. According to some websites I looked at, a study found that a 125 lb person burns about 150 cal (on average) while working in a busy restaurant. My shift was 6.5 hours, and I’m close to 125 lb, so I think it’s safe to assume that I burned at least 200 calories.

I think I did okay today, I guess. I work again tomorrow, so I’m going to eat a macrobar before work, and then chicken for lunch. I will eat whatever my mom makes for dinner for dinner, and if she doesn’t come home, I will have a chicken sausage. My net goal will be 700 calories. I will make it a goal to drink at least one glass of water every 2 hours (i always forget to drink water). 

I will probably take some kratom before work. I will definitely stop at the gas station and get an energy drink (they suppress my appetite wayyy better than coffee). I’m going to start a list of rules for myself.  I will do good.

This is a sad, sad, day people

I don’t even know where to begin, so I’ll just spill it.

Being that I’ve been sick and today was the first day of solid food since Sunday night (Macrobar, banana, and a small breakfast bean burrito for lunch)...I opted to not have a whiskey with my Boss after my review. Even when he exclaimed we should have had this during the review.

It gets worse.

Before I got on the train I got a stovepipe can of Dale’s Pale Ale. Angel (not Dave the Bartender)— said, “are you sure man?” They know me. Then proceeds to ask if I like Gumball Head and promptly picks up an open bottle. Some guy ordered it and didn’t have cash and never came back. So free beer, and a pretty good craft beer from Indiana that’s hard to come by. I turned it down. I TURNED DOWN FREE BEER PEOPLE. I don’t think I can carry on with my Life.

Yet, it still gets worse.

So right as the train leaves the station, I crack open the can. My train ride takes about 50 minutes. A stovepipe can is 19.2 oz, so more than a pint but not quite an Imperial Pint. Keep in mind I’ve opened and pounded a can of this size in seconds not to many moons ago when that night they didn’t allow alcohol on the train. Tonight I couldn’t even finish that beer in 50 minutes.

Sad, sad, day. My German heritage and long dead family members are scolding me for bringing this shame into their house. I will be punished for this in my own afterlife with Schnapps and Kirshwasser. This day has been marked down on the calendar of shame.

Jeff didn’t finish his beer. For the only logical reason was that his stomach shrunk during his illness. The Judges will briefly consider this, but in the end find this infraction of the rules inexcusable.
