I see your "Guy and Angel are related" and raise you: Lovely and Freelancer are siblings. My only justification for this is. I started my Redacted journey with the Solaire Clan and s1 of DAMN back to back, and they look extremely similar to me. Twins even.

Fred and Bright assuming positions of “mentors” but they goof off more than anything, and Lovely is glad they get to bond with people that make them feel normal for all the feelings they might or might not have about their turning. Not that Vincent is unable to provide that for them, its just a different context!!! Sometimes they just wanna shoot the shit with friends and Sam, Fred, Bright can provide that too!!! I think after entering the empowered world they kinda unintentionally isolated themselves from their old friends and while they made new ones at DAMN, they weren’t particularly close with any of them. They’re breaking out of it and I think starting with the Collins would mean da world to me..

and bc they’re now the youngest of the vampires in the clan, (& i hc that the younglings have long pointy ears, among other features like stereotypical vampires do) they don’t feel so out of place with Fred and Bright since they’re not gonna grow out of their own youngling features for a while

lovely is the only one from the vampire group (vincent, sam, darlin, william) who actually enjoys horror movies. darlin is scared shitless of them, sam thinks most of them are gross, and vincent saw the original Halloween in theaters when he was a little too young to watch it and can no longer watch a horror movie without flashbacks 💀���

also my fav hc for some of the listeners is that they forget they can use magic sometimes and it just. shocks them as much as it did the day they found out.

Not the power to make something from nothing like shifting or healing or telekinesis, or telepathy. But energetics and elementals are unique in the fact that they can pull from the things around them. Electricity is everywhere after all. It’s a naturally forming resource. So creating, or summoning becomes diverting. The core becomes a filter instead of a infinite well. Which allays a lot of the strain put on the core.

Latents are a mainly unknown group, little research has been done based purely on their scarcity. Latent energetics are even rarer. How the turning process affects latents  differently to regular empowered is still unknown.

Latents core’s clearly circulate and process magic differently than most, based on the theory posited by Vincent about Lovely’s distinct scent being a byproduct of their body being unable to flush out the excess magic leaving them with a constant pinhole leak of magic surrounding their aura. Therefore their body has an ability to retain magic for long periods of time. Based on the fact that we never got a mention of it we can assume that Lovelys scent never did fade like Vincent said it might, which means their body still had a back stock of magic reaching back to their teenage years when the block started. Being an incredibly powerful energetic we can think that the pure power circulating in their system for seven years wasn’t used up in the year(?) before they were turned. Further proof of residual magic stockpiles being their ability to continue fighting in the inversion despite winning silver in an event that requires a nuke of sheer power being let out mere moments before

i love treasure and how they ran off in the middle of the night with a stranger because they couldn't stand how uneventful their life has become, and how they know their friends were bad but they'd rather go out with people that didn't care about them than stay home in the silence. i love treasure and how they start things but never finish them because they fear of being left with nothing to do. that's why they leave their laundry sitting around for so long, once that's over then what? what happens next? treasure doesn't want to think about and for that i love them.

He lets lovely ‘borrow’ vincent’s crown for and undisclosed amount of time to mess with him

and i think bright eyes would remind william so much of early vincent with all their angst so he’d make it a point to be much more gentler with them than anyone else has been so far
